October 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

anyone wanting a character meal and cannot get a res. try going to cape may cafe @ bc. they are sometimes crowded, but we have often given our name at the desk and then have a seat and they usually have a table before to long.

this is probably due to people who have res. and do not show up. their character bkfst is really great. the food is also very, very good.

I am trying for a Fantasmic Dinner Package on Sunday October 11, any restaurant, any time, though we prefer H&V or MM over BD. Please let me know if you are going to cancel one.

(I'll be out of town both this weekend and next, so if you're going to cancel one either weekend, do you mind waiting until Monday?)

Oh yes, and I also have to add to keep trying, because people will cancel who aren't posting it on the DIS! I didn't start trying for ADRs until about the 80 day mark. At first I found nothing, but kept trying and now have Akershus breakfast, Chef Mickey's dinner and Rainforest Cafe lunch, so keep trying!

Oh no!! I was sooooo excited because I snagged a Le Cellier ressie long after my 90 day mark. You know what they say about if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is?

Well, I call today to clarify some of my other ADR's and the CM kindly went over all of them.

And then it happened.

CM: "Your lunch reservation is at 12:30 on October 17 party of 3."

Me: "WHAT?? Noooooo. It was for October 7...we fly home October 11!"

Sure enough the CM that made the original ressie booked the wrong date. And of course there is nothing available for any time or any day at Le Cellier between October 2-11.

So, I guess I will cancel the October 17 ADR at Le Cellier unless someone has one to trade for October 3 or 7 .

Call back tomorrow, hang onto your ressie for the 17th, ask to speak with guest services and tell them you want your ressie for the 7th. They can call the manager at LeCellier and get you in. I had this happen one year and sure enough they got us in but only guest services and the resturant manager to do this.

Think about it if you booked at 90 day mark, how could you have even book the 17th. Your 90 day +10 should be 12 from the 2nd.

I just cancelled 1900 Park Fare on the 8th at 7:50 pm for a party of 3.

I also cancelled WCC for the 8th at 6:20pm for a party of 3.


I was able to get Cape May Cafe on the 8th and I'm happy with that so I won't need to trade for 1900 Park Fare.

I will be cancelling HDDR on the 7th at 5 pm for a party of 6, we were able to get a table for 7. I just have to remember to call in before they close tomorrow.

I have an extra ADR for Ohana. It's for a party of 4, 6:40pm, on Friday, October 9th.

At my 90 day mark, we had some uncertainties about our schedule, so I booked Ohana for two different days. Now we have our schedule worked out, so I have one ADR to cancel.

If anyone wants this ADR, PM me and I will give you the confirmation number. You can then pretend to be my family at Ohana if you wish. There is no chance of this ADR being canceled for double booking, as I do not have any other ADRs for this day.

We are looking for a Cinderella's Round Table (CRT) reservation for 4 for any of the following days/times...

9/29 lunch or dinner
9/30 breakfast, lunch or dinner
10/2 breakfast, lunch or dinner
10/3 breakfast or lunch

Unfortunately, I have nothing left to trade. I have given away 2 resv via the DIS boards & made 1 trade... and only now did my hubby decide he'd like to eat at the Castle.

I now have a resv for 4 at Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) on 10/2 at 9:20 a.m.-- just scored it by phone this morning!

We would prefer a resv at CRT on 9/29 or 9/30... any time on these days.

Does anyone have a CRT resv on 9/29 or 9/30 they would like to trade for our CRT resv on 10/2?

Except that I didn't book on my 90 day mark as I had emergency surgery in the middle of the night...of all the days in the year....what are the odds??

I will try calling tomorrow. It's not the end of the world if we can't get it fixed. I mean I have been trying to get a ressie at Le Cellier for over 6 years so another year won't kill me .

Anyone know how to retrieve ADR #'s? I booked most of mine online and didn't write down the numbers because I WAS getting email confirmations prior to that. NOT SO lately. Any clue??

i just cancelled 1900 park fare for oct. 1 at 8:15 am. there is NO WAY i can get there from ASM in time since the buses start running at 8 am BUMMER

Buses actually start running at 6:00, although at an extremely reduced schedule. You could make it in time. You can always take a cab if needed.

If anyone has a ressie for o'hana's on October 3 or 4 (friday or saturday night) and they need to cancel, pleeeeeze let me know! Dinner at o'hanas the highlight of DH's trip and I am not having any luck at all. I try checking daily but it's not easy to do with a dial up connection- UGH! PM me if need be.
