Nothing available at any of the deluxe resorts except Saratoga Springs or Old Key West for our dates of Oct 24-28. We have the Dolphin booked for those dates for about $200 per night (AAA) already, so unless our wait list for our DVC comes thru we will stick with the Dolphin for it's great location. Even if any of the other deluxe resorts pop up, it doesn't look like the rate would be any where near as low as the Dolphin. I cringe at spending money for hotels when we own DVC, but we all want to stay close to Epcot for F&W!

On this page on your left hand side, there is a menu of options, Click on"Special Offers"

On this screen you'll see "Fantastic Fall Getaway at the Ideal Fall Price –The 5 Night/6 Day Magic Your Way Package! " Click on this link and scroll down to the bottom. Click on "Get Started"

But in all your dates, etc and when you pick your hotel it should say "Rate Type : Oct - Dec Magic Your Way" If so than you got the fall rate, if not it is either booked up or not available for your dates or hotel.

I just got off the phone AGAIN. I got my same reservation plus tickets for $1148.31. 2 ADULTS 1 TEEN and five year old. POP PLUS 4DAY TICKETS! I used the DGL code better then the VISA pin I got two weeks ago!!!

20 minutes on the phone at 8:15 AM my time so 10:15 FL time I think.

Dining Plan
Original reservation at POP cost: $3259.76 including insurance.
New Price at CBR: $3253.52.

Saved $6.24 hehe.

I hear you about thinking the agent forgot the dining plan, I asked the poor girl 3 times if that included the dining plan.

I wondered if anyone else had this rate change?

We're staying at POR for 14 nights (Oct. 6 thru 20th).

Called and got the AP rate of $114.00 per night, BUT it's only good from the 6th thru the 12th.

The Oct. 12 to 20 rate was $129.00 per night.

The code says that the $114 price is good for "regular" season, standard view (which is what we booked).

Regular season goes well beyond our actual dates, so why did I get the rate change in the middle of our stay?

No codes attached for BCV but...I went on line did this above thing. They didn't have anything for BCV but they did for BWV so I called Disney and had them move us to BWV and saved $513!!!!

Also just realized that my price of $1331 was also with a PIN I got in the mail back in April, the original was about $1500, so that's pretty dang good now that I think about it! Down about $300.

Is it because the packages are designed for a family of 4 and there are only two of us? Any insight on this? Our reservations are as follows

No it shouldn't matter about the number of people. It is just the two of us as well and we were able to apply the code to our package this morning.

Yes, it can be the difference between night and day. I called yesterday to modify my rack reservations to AP. The first person took all my info and when I was in the process of telling her about switching from All Star to CBR for the first night, she cuts in abruptly and says, "Can you hold?" I say yes and she never comes back. I waited through two entire LOUD songs. I ended the call, called back, and got the nicest CM who took care of everything. I made sure to do the survey and give the second CM an excellent review.

They did not have any openings at Pop this morning for my dates which overlap your dates at the Discount Rate and I am going Solo. So that may actually be the issue. I had to switch to AS Music to get the discount rate which saved me $565.00. I am going to try and get POP which is where I prefer to stay, if some rooms reopen at the discount rate by calling back after the system resets overnight. Because I have seen others who were able to apply the discount to their Pop ressies.

I have no idea what code or discount she was able to apply. But I am psyched!

$1212.80 is the cost of the same Disney package minus AirTran. The airfare may be your issue. Did you buy a package that included the airfare?

Total using QXD code is $1,006. If I add the hopper (I'm still on the fence about it) the package goes up by about $100. Even taking into consideration the difference between the adult/child price that's a big difference.

I booked my air separately on Southwest. They're still offering reasonable airfare in October.

One of the reasons I don't use a TA, the TA owns your ressie and you can do nothing to it.

What you can do is book another ressie in case your TA misses the discount by being MIA, but you will have to put down a second deposit.
