October 2004 anyone?

Food & Wine Festival for 2004 is from October 1 to November 14.

I understand they got some sort of extension on the liquor license that let them hold it for an extra two weeks this year.

ME!!!!

Just had a friend ask if she paid my airfare, would I be able to meet here at WDW this fall. I talked it over with DH and HECK YA I'm going for 4 nights in October. I haven't heard back yet from Shades of Green, but the dates are penciled in for October 21-25; our back up choice is October 14-18.

I CANNOT WAIT! So exciting! And since she asked, my Mom and a friend of my friend's have joined on the Walt Disney World Girl's Weekend bandwagon! Awesome! (And a $70 a night room at Shades split 4 ways is mighty do-able!)

We're hoping for a MNNSHP night to land on one of our 3 nights we will be able to access it and look forward to seeing what all the hoopla about Food and Wine Festival is about. I missed it by a week last year.

Can anyone tell me more about the Florida schools being out third week of October? Are they out the entire week?

We are going the 3rd week in Oct. I'm trying to get my grandparents to come for a trip with my dd. I really hope it's no crowded. They haven't been to disney since I was little. I was hoping this could be a large family trip. If anyone has been to DD during this time please tell us all how the crowds are. Thanks!

we're going oct 20-27th. hoping for not so large crowds. Is it true that some of the florida schools are out for break at this time???

Are they? My kids aren't. No one near here is either. Maybe it's Orlando.

We'll be there October 1-8 for our wedding! Bringing 60 of our closest family and friends!!

We'll be there the 16-25th...celebrating my parents 45th wedding anniversary:earseek: I did Thanksgiving week and the week after last year. It was fun:teeth: , but I enjoy October so much more. I can't wait for it to get here!:hyper:

Hello to everybody who is travelling to WDW in October. We`re staying from the 24th until the 29th october and we would like to do some of those magical gathering options like the SAFARI DINNER or the INTERNATIONAL DINNER. At the moment we`re just four people and so we`re searching for some nice people who are interested to join us to set up a "grand gathering" ! So If you`re interested you can contact me through mail or post your answer to this thread.

Magical Wishes to all of you
Andy

we're going druing oct the 20-25(may change) for a long weekend. I am trying to get my mom to let us go during jersey week to get a full week at disney(probably not going to happen). Oh well at least i am going. and i think we're staying at the swan because my dad has a conference there, so the room free. but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! :jumping1: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jumping3: :jumping4:

First time @ POFQ from the 10/20 to 10/24... just a 'quick' trip to 'save' money with the APs.

Very excited... but first I have to go this Summer! :p

October 16-Oct 26 if we fly.

More likely
October 15- Oct 25 by car.

Other than being on the fence for travel I am too excited. We went in October for our first ever trip. MK did get crowded by noon, but by that time we needed a break anyway, and went somewhere else.

DH and I were planning on going back in September, but DH wanted to go when something was going on - so he chose October.

We will be there October 15 - 23 and going to MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival. Even though we know it will be slightly more busy than it was in September, we are so looking forward to all of the festivities. We have been in the summer when it has been packed, so we are prepared for everything!!

We'll be at the BWV from 3-8 and 10-16. We'll be avoiding the weekend while we visit with relatives in Ft. Lauderdale. We went once before at this time and it wasn't too bad with the exception of Columbus Day. My girls' birthdays are 8 days apart, so it works out nicely to celebrate them at WDW.

My wife, mother and I are going October 8th - 17th. We are driving down and returning to work for the 19th. I cannot wait any longer, it is physically messing me up!
