Tuesday 21st October

After a lie in we headed back to EPCOT again we wanted to see some of the Culinary Demonstrations. The first one was with William Clark the Pastry Chef at the Polynesian Resort, he made a gorgeous chocolate mousse cake – I took the receipe for DH to recreate it for me. It was very hot today and sitting watching demo’s wasn’t helping. We strolled around for a little while before seeing the second Demonstration from Philip Ponticelli from the Yachtsmans Steakhouse. He made Corn Crepes and avocado salad and orange blossom honey BBQ Sauce – I didn’t taste this but DH enjoyed it. We then propped up the Kitchen Aid stand for nearly an hour whilst DH played with all the gadgets (can you tell I have absolutely no interest in the kitchen) He brought loads of silicone accessories here.

We headed out of EPCOT and then back to Old Key West for a dip in the pool before another DIS meet tonight :bounce:

Tonight we were meeting Carolyn (2disneywego) and Hubby Robert(now our very good friends) :wave: we arranged to meet last year but Carolyn had to cancel her trip as Robert had a nasty injury. We kept in touch and planned our trip and meets for this year.

We met at Gurgling Suitcase for margarita’s. It was wonderful to meet them and we got on like a house on fire (already planning to meet up on our next trip) We exchanged pressies and Carolyn had brought wonderful things for us.

After a couple of Margarita’s and then Robert drove us over to the Boardwalk as we had a PS at Flying Fish this evening. I can’t remember what we ate here but it was very good. We had a lovely evening with Carolyn and Robert nattering away it felt like we had known them for ages. Robert dropped us back to OKW and we collapsed in bed.
