Eeek! I hope mine comes soon!

I really, really, really hope these stay the same. I love Brave and would love to see it again (and I would like to see The Odd Life of Timothy Green). Muppets would be nice too

yay..frankenweenie....what a great movie for Halloween:goodvibes

That's what vacations are all about..not having to worry about how we look:thumbsup2

Yes to that!

On this vacation, I really don't want to overly worry about my or DH's attire/appearance everyday so that we can impress others. Instead of losing weight for this vacation, I probably put on 10 lbs! :rolleyes2
Well, hopefully when the pointing and comments are directed at me, I won't hear them. :thumbsup2

Been a lurker on here for quite a while but figured I would register and post up for this :)

My wife & I will be on this one celebrating our honeymoon! (Getting married Sept 22nd!)

Staying in a 1bdr concierge suite and can't wait!

pixiedust: What a great honeymoon! Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. :)

My wife and I are looking forward to the cruise. Spending a few days at the Food and Wine Festival before we cruise. Also looking forward to see the Fantasy.

Everyone on this board has immunity. :hyper:

Seriously though, I may spend the week with no make up on and my hair in a ponytail.... It would be nice to NOT have to put foundation on everyday:bitelip:
Sometimes I look in the mirror and ask myself "what were you thinking?":lmao:

For the gals with a little more "junk in the trunk" like myself- I got a new LBD at Lane Bryant outlet today $90 marked down to $25. One shoulder with a drapey overlay kind of thing. Thinking semi formal night or Remy.

They also have all of their maxi-dresses at 50% off.

Has anyone ever traveled on the plane with chocolate? Wondering if it will survive the trip? I'm assuming I'll have to take it on my carry-on, but I will cry if it melts in transit. Any experience anyone?

we have but always make sure it's in the carry on, rather than packing it. it goes through security just fine - we've taken specialty chocolate from our area as gifts for people in the past.

I have never tried it, but we will probably have to eat it before you go, just to be safe. :)

My Dad is always bringing home chocolate for us to eat when he flies to this country or that. (the diabetic pilot who lives through his children's chocolate-eating abilities!) I'll ask him how he does it and report back!

WOW!!!! It seems like I have been planning for so long and now it's almost here!:beach:

Also, as far as the dressing up vs dressing down for a cruise is concerned, I don't think either one deserves to be judged too harshly. It just depends on what you're used to, and what makes you feel special. If you have to dress up in your daily life, then by all means, slob around the ship for a week, and love every minute of it! I am a harried new mother, who lives in scrubs at work and jeans and tees at home. So I want to get in shape and dress up and feel well-kept for a week! No shame in that. To quote Brighton Beach Memoirs, "Pearls are like people. They like to go out and be seen once in a while." My pearls have been collecting dust for far too long!

thanks everyone for the congrats :lovestruc

Thanks :) We've been booked for around 6 months or so I think, weve got #11020

I love the concierge suites! Was in one about a year and a half ago on the Dream with my family and it was awesome for the shorter cruise we went on then. I imagine it will be even better for the 7day!

I am sure we would be down to meet up for some drinks etc! Who all is going to Remy? That place was amazing when I went on the Dream so I can't wait to go back!

We're doing Remy- Twice! and I have to agree- it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten-on land or sea! We did it on the Dream on the Maiden Voyage; we knew the sommelier then- I'm still trying to find out who the Remy sommelier is on the Fantasy.

I still dream about the "tomato tot" amuse bouche we had.....

My favorite was the lobster bisque, not that everything wasn't great!
I will have to do the wine pairings this time though!

I want to say we were on the dream a month or so after the maiden voyage, but the night we did Remy the seas were very rough and unfortunately my mom couldn't even make it to the dinner (which was to celebrate her wedding anniversary :( ). They actually sent some of the dinner items to her room as well as a dessert basket for us to bring back for her though!
