Thank you for sending out the FE list.:thumbsup2 Looks great! :)

Our Delivery Date is assigned for Oct 20th. With this being our first Disney cruise , DH and I aren't too sure if we will be delivering that day. We'll try but otherwise we'll probably make our way to the cabins listed on the 21st.

As i mentioned in the email, you are not obligated at all to follow the delivery date. It was just a guideline and it was to help see to it that folks would could continue receiving the magic everyday. But since we have plenty of folks one both lists, there should be no problem.

So please, deliver them at your convenience.

 OH, sorry! I guess I should have actually read the email rather than just the FE list! I just went and read it now.

have a great day! :)

Hi, Cyndi. I try to post that information on the first page if it was provided. However, not everyone has their cabin numbers posted. I will try to make sure that it is as up-to-date as possible.

Speaking of which, I think you sent me an email yesterday about Ethan celebrating his 9th birthday. Which day is that so that I can add it to the list?

It was actually yesterday, but since we're traveling on part DVC points, we couldn't get a Sept cruise. So we're choosing tO celebrate it on Friday night, 10/26.

My dd Sarah will be turning 12 right after the cruise, but we are celebrating on board, she wanted her birthday celebration to be on the ship,

I think we were booked on the same cruise once before-MNSSHC-Western on 10/30/10.

Hope to have a chance to meet you.

Joanie

For anyone here considering the Remy lunch on the last day at sea, there is some new information being floated about ... I can confirm it next week after some of my friends who are on the Fantasy right now and have the lunch booked return home.

Previous information indicated that the lunch was 5 courses, each course paired with champagne, for $50 per person. New information from the last two sailings are now stating that the lunch is 5-courses with one glass of champagne for $50 per person. When you show up at Remy you are now being offered the option to purchase a champagne pairing (3 glasses) for an additional $25 per person. It does not appear that CMs are informing guests of this at the time of booking.

Lunch at Remy for $75 per person is not the same as dinner at Remy for $75 per person, so I'm not sure it's really that great of deal any longer. However, for those of you who might want to experience Remy in a more relaxed environment or who don't want to have a long dinner away from your kids, this could be a decent alternative.

Having dined at Remy previously, and knowing the options and extras that come with dinner, I don't really think the lunch is a good deal at this new price. As I said earlier, I am waiting on confirmation from fellow foodies who are cruising this week, but I think our minds are already made up.

Happy to keep anyone here who is interested up to speed on the developments - our tablemates seem to have the same feeling about lunch that we do at this point.

Thanks!

Awaiting the new news!

I originally posted this in the main forum but cant find it now. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the time we are docking in St. Maarten. If you do know, how do you find this out? As always, thanks for the help. These boards are a life saver for this over planner. :)

Good question!!! Does anyone know times for st Thomas, too? On 4 night published time and actual times were way different for Nassau! Curious if we knew if it would change. Out brother in law lives on island and we are visiting him that day! :)

Well out excursion is planned at 9:15 so I'd say 9am.

Brenda - DD & Sil are Not participating in FE this year. We are going on 11/4 cruise with DD and she is in that FE. She has a new TA (tenporary assignment) at WDW which is taking a lot more time than previous position. Tough to beleive, since she was on mandatory 7 day shifts for over 1 year. Will tell you more when on ship. (Dan & Nan, that includes you to.) Phil

Thanks, Phil. I must have had that information somewhere which is why they were not on the list. But then I started second guessing myself.

I know you are replying to the other Brenda, but, I just wanted to comment. I don't think that I will be doing this anytime soon. Maybe when my husband and I are cruising alone, maybe we will try it. But not this time. It's too bad that they changed this, though. It was a pretty nice deal before.

thanks Lori ... appreciate the heads up. On the fence now about booking the lunch since we're already having dinner there and I just don't know how I feel about $75 per person for the lunch now. Granted, we could still just spend the $50 but those who know us know that we never stop at one glass of bubbles!

It does make me wonder if they won't use this as a reason to increase the cost of dinner next year. :confused3

Oh well .... back to work. Don't tell my boss I was goofing off, ok? :rotfl2:
