New day, new outlook.....still can't send email but it will work out. I have been getting things together to send to Goodwill.....love to clean out! In fact I could do it for a whole year and still have more I think.

I am going to get my hair cut at l:30 so that should give me a lift....I shopped yesterday and I guess I went too long as my ankle started hurting and it had quit hurting. But I did finally find a open in the front sweater for Dick. They are so hard to find.

My grandaughter leaves in the morning for Texas to meet with her family and go on a cruise so she is staying here tonight. She has to be at the airport at 5 so Dick is taking her....

I sent my gift exchange last week....haven't gotten mine yet.

Did I tell you that Crissy's office that I was decorating won Cutest? Next year she wants to do a Disney theme......

You gals are great with all the cookie baking....that is what Christmas is about. I didn't do it this year....I wanted to help Barb but she did it when I was sick , which by the way I am almost over. We leave next week for Patti's for Christmas and I don't want to be sick then.

Denine if I was still living in Ohio I would look you up with all your baking and cooking....sounds like Kaleigh is being raised in a good old fashion home where the mom cooks all the time....too many kids miss that today. I think we have some pretty good moms on the bb.....

Susan, if I don't talk to you before, have a wonderful trip and know that we are all jealous that you will have some time spent at WDW.

Heidi, I did get your email about Fred. It made me sad. Fred was a great guy. My dad loved him. Now they are together!

Last night we went to see my nephew play in his school band program. He plays in the percussion. I was like a proud mom.....that's my Cody. You see, I had him 5 days a week, about 10 hours a day for 11 or twelve years. It was fun for me. It was kind of eerie like Heidi put it because it was at Columbine tho. Speaking of Columbine, a friend of ours son was in the library during the shootings and was hurt with shrapnel (sp). Anyway, his big brother was just hired on by Columbine for the tech dept. They are proud of how far they have progressed.

Sally, keep us posted on your email account. I know what a hastle it would be for you to change! Can you imagine transferring all those addresses?

Another weigh in so I better close. Cross your fingers because my track record is to lose and then the next time gain a few ounces. Will I ever get there?? EVER?

Just a quick post before we get the car loaded and get on the road. Don't be too envious of us being at WDW for a couple of days. Monday's high will be in the upper 40s!!! Definitely not Disney weather!

Gee Sally The truth is, my mom stayed home and cooked and baked. I hate already prepared food. I don't own a microwave. It gets frustrating to shop at the grocery stores when I want ingredients to make stuff and they don't have them. But, I could buy what I want already made. I like to know what I am eating and what Kaleigh is eating. I used to hate to cok when I was a kid. My mom tried to so hard. She showed me th basics and I did the rest on my own after I got married.

That being said, I finished my bakeing for tomorrow and have a Pannetone in the bread machine for Sunday. If that comes out good, I may make that to take to work.

I haven't checked the mail yet, so I don't know about the secret santa.

I am just sick! The gas company came to my door to tell me they had to dig in my newly sodded tree lawn to hook up gas to the house across the street. Now I have a big hole in my tree lawn. They did not wreck the sprinkler system. They assured me they will repair and replace the sod in the spring. I did make a note of the day they were here. And, while I was at the door, I forgot the alarm system was on and it started screaming at me. At first I thought it was the smoke alarm. I am not used to burglar alarms. So, I turned it off and the security company called me to make sure everthing was fine. I said it was and then they asked for my password. I completely forgot what it was. Luckily she gave me a hint and I was able to come up with it.

Bonnie: Some day you will be able to laugh at your favorite employee. You have to admit that all the drama makes the day interesting! You will have to give us a recital on Sunday.

Sue: It will be 18 here on Monday.

Sandy: Good luck at weigh in!

Sally: Congrats on winning cutest cubicle! I hope you get your yahoo account straightened out!

Hopefully Julie will be stopping by later to pick up her vodka. We finished ours and may need to dip into her stash soon!

Had Hera to the vet yesterday. She is now on ATB with steroid eye drops and augmentin. Her lymph nodes were swollen. She was scared, but very good. She actully let me hold her at the vet, so that was a treat. At least, she is completely healthy otherwise. We have never had that before. Even Jazzy has aheart murmer like Shannon did, Ollie had asthma, Ty had FIP. Jerry want to know why we always get the cats with problems? I tell him because God wants us to have them because he knows we will take good care of them!

I think I have rambled on enough for one day. Have a wonderful weekend. Tomorrow morning is Kaleigh's Christmas party and then we are going to decorate and bake the cut out cookies.

Just like I predicted, weigh in was bad. Up .6. I just can't believe all that I am going through. I honestly feel that it isn't me that is messing up. It is my body. They are going to talk to a dietician on Monday while I am there.

We have been to WDW in that kind of weather. WDW was close to selling out of their winter gear ie. gloves and hats. Luckily Heidi spotted them and bought for all of us. We didn't let it spoil our trip. We still had fun. It was Jan of 2002. Even the Bahamas and Castaway Cay was horrible. Got off the ship in sweats.

My computer keeps screaming at me that it wants to update so I better get off.

Amazingly my favorite employee will be back at work Monday...I got a one day break. Amazing recovery considering the threat was all because of work! The amount of manipulation!!! The gall!!! They never admitted the person...I guess she wasn't a danger to herself...if they only knew the danger she is to my psyche!

OK...so what is new with me. Got a new digital camera...now I need a new computer! Everything snowballs doesn't it? I will have to bite the bullet I guess. Any recommendations? Need memory, speed, CD/DVD write capabilities, would like a flat panel, MS Office program...floppy drive (due to work). Where are all my computer guru's.

What time on Sunday? Did everyone get their gift? I did mail mine last Saturday but it was sent priority mail so should have arrived Wed but my person hasn't mentioned it so I wonder?

I got all the Christmas cards...I didn't send any.
Kaleigh is beautiful, the Medina family is beautiful...I loved the note from Katie, she is being taught early how to send the cards! Turner is a heart-throb! And of course the VH's ....well the model family!!! Hunky Ted, Hot Momma Sandy and sweet Heidi. I didn't send any this year...too busy doing the ones for work. Gee maybe I should send those out!!

Will anyone be around this weekend? I should be. Will stop in.

Hi Bonnie, I am here. Enjoyed your post. Your employee just stuns me with what she comes up with! We bought a new computer a year ago and it has DVD/CD write capabilites, flat screen etc. It is a Sony. We like it. The problem we are having isn't Sony but probably a software problem. Still haven't taken it in yet. Maybe after Christmas. I wanted my project done for Christmas. Oh well, how about Valentines Day? lol. Weren't you kind about our family! Thanks! But come on.......sweet Heidi???? If you have nothing better to do, call me today. Would love to talk! Might even get me out of some yucky work! We are waxing the Suburban today. Almost done. Just decided to take a break.

Ok, the time will be 8 for all you easterners and 6 for all of us westerners on Sunday night. Heidi and I both have our gifts. Can't wait to talk to all of you!

Good afternoon on this last Saturday before Christmas!! Yikes!!

Mailed my gift, haven't received ours yet. We will be out of pocket on Sunday, I think. Waaaah. We don't have a gift to open, but will be there in spirit. We are going up to Big Cedar Lodge for a little family together time, before 12 of us in one house in Dallas. Yikes again.

I am going to take the phone # and all of the access info. so hopefully I can call in for a few.

Today was a very good day!
We went to Kaleigh's adoption Christmas party. It was very nice, as usual. We saw her old social worker, who I told to stop by to see our new house when she can. She lives in this city too. We also saw Kaleigh's foster mom. We took a picture of them together and she took some of Kaleigh. We got a note from Kaleigh's birth mom and she got married, on Kaleigh's birthday. Her husband said that since it is such a sad day for her, to make it a happy one by getting marrieed on that day. She sent us a wedding picture. Kaleigh sat on Santa and Mrs. Claus's laps and didn't cry! She played with his jingle bells and had fun. She ate A LOT of cookies!

We came home to find our Secret Santa gift on the front stoop. Yeah! Looking forward to tomorrow night.

Kaleigh and I took naps and then we decorated cut outs. She had fun and so did we. We took pictures and video of her decorating.

It is almost time for her to go to bed.

We are going to my parents tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. It is supposed to snow starting tonight. They said out east could get quite a bit. We will see. It isn't until the afternoon, so hopefully the roads will be OK.

Julie and the kids came over yesterday. Kaleigh was so excited she couldn't stand it. She was running around the kitchen table chanting "Auntie Julie's coming" It was so cute. The kids all had fun, but she couldn't stay long because she had to meet her grandma for dinner.

Sandy: A bit too cold here to wax cars. Don't worry about your weight. I know you want to lose it and it will come off. You didn't even gain a pound!

Bonnie: We bought a Dell not long ago. We really like it. It has everything you want, including the flat panel. Too bad about your favorite employee.

Krista: Enjoy your trip to the lodge. Try your best to get on tomorrow night.

I know you ALL have been busy but it REALLY has been a hectic week! I worked Tuesday & Wednesday. Thursday I had to take the dog to get "fixed" & then my sons, cousin's son & I went out to dinner for my son's 24th birthday Friday I put up the real tree which fell over when it was 99% done tinsel, water & broken balls everywhere. I just couldn't deal with it that night so re-decorated it today!

BONNIE: I hope you got your Christmas surprise. Don't worry about me repeating the story, I don't go back to work until Christmas Eve & won't remember the story by then!

Dodger has been visiting. My son got another dog - a Jack Russell terrier named "Jake". He is really a cut dog with one black eye.

I think my son Derek is getting engaged this Christmas. He bought her a ring but hasn't talked to her Dad yet. Oh! My! Another Wedding

Well I really miss you all. VISITED work today for Joyce's birthday & to pick up & leave off cookies for the cookie exchange. Hope you all have a blessed Sunday. Toodles JEANNE

Just got home from the day in Denver shopping with Barb, Tiff and Shelly.....was a nice day and I got a few things.

I haven't gotten my gift yet so won't have it for tomorrow's opening. I know Barb got hers and not sure about Patti.

On our way up to Denver the traffic came to a complete stop on the highway...first thought there was an accident but never saw one...just that much traffic going up and this was on our side of Castle Rock and we sat for a good 15 minutes. Not bad coming home at 9:30. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory before we left the mall.

Going to bed as it is almost l0:30 and I am sleepy.....good night everyone

Finished wrapping MY presents last night & now I have to wrap my son's presents. I LIKE wrapping presents so I am not going to complain.

Hoping for SNOW! It is now December 19th & New Jersey hasn't seen any SNOW. We have cold, rain & fog but no SNOW. I WANT SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there! Just a quick post before we leave in a blizzard to go to the Browns game. Yes we are nuts!! The Browns are in last place and are really bad (that doesn't even discribe them) but we are true Cleveland fans, plus you can't even GIVE the tickets away! The wind chill right now is -1. The temp is 17!! We are suppose to get anywherefrom 10 to 20 inches today!!! I love snow!!!!!!!!!!THis is a little much for me right now BUT I wanted a white Christmas. Denine and Jerry aren't suppose to get as much snow as we are since they moved farther west out of the snow belt. Just becareful going to your parents house Denine!!

I'm so SO sorry that Krista and Sally haven't gotten their gifts yet. Last week I checked with those senders whos gifters hadn't received their gifts and all gifts WERE sent by wednesday of last week. We can do an online chat when those who haven't gotten their gifts and they can open them.

I'll be ready to chat with all of you at 8pm tonight!!! If I'm not frozen!! LOL!!!

The EAGLES did win today (barely). That Julie is a true BROWNS fan to go to the game in that weather. I hope they win for her sake.

I have been cleaning & washing all day since I forgot we are going to the Casino tomorrow (Aunt, Cousin, Nephew & Son) & staying overnight. The house was a wreck. They have a new "Outlet Center" in Atlantic City called "The Walk" so while they are all losing their money I will spend mine!

Rain????? I thought that the weatherman said you guys were getting COLD frigid temps. Guess he was wrong! Jeanne, how about coming over here and helping ME clean. Wow, the house really shows how much I have neglected it. The Walk sounds like fun to me. When we got off the ship in Orlando we drove to Downtown Disney and from there we drove to the Premium Outlet stores very close by. Wow, that is some fancy outlet mall! Gorgeous! AND....the have a WDW outlet store. It was a lot of fun. Glad that Darren told us about it.

I hope my family got their gift!! I don't see anything that says they did and they should have so I guess I will find out tonight. Hmmmm....little concerned. I knew I should have insured it.

Have to back some pies tonight so I better get started before the chat.

Talk about a mess...the tree is up but unfortunately boxes all over and no place to put them. Back in the attic or in the spare room...that I can't walk in anyway! Theank heavens none of you want to come to grey rainy NJ. Gee...is it gray or grey?

GO EAGLES!!!! Poor Julie and Garry...I think I saw that the browns lost, or was it the Bears that I saw? Gee sounds like I have atrophy of the brain...possibly I could use that as an excuse for not doing my job? Rambling here. Better go bake those pies!

I am SOOOOO sorry I missed "the chat" but my son Derek came over right at that time to pick up the dog. We DID get a light dusting of snow & it did get REALLY cold.
