OMG...too many bad stories to come back to. Pixie Dust and Prayers to everyone.

Julie - Hang in there, I hope your FIL's results are better than what you expect.

Sally - I hope you feel better, lots of soup for you!

Yea Turner, he is such a stud!!! He is the man!!

I got an email from Kristy today and that poor family is not having a very good holiday. Mikey lost his job and Kristy may need to get blood this Wednesday. They are all under a lot of stress right now.

I got all my Christmas Shopping done on Friday (long day....very very long day) and have most of my wrapping done.

Are we all in agreement to do the exchange either the 19th or 20th....(I cant remember which day out of those 2 that Susan can do it.)

I hope everyone has a better week than they did last week. Hang in there.

Jeanne has been found!!! She came back...yea, now we need to drap Bonnie and Faith back!!

ps. Sent my Secret Santa gift out.

Oh my gosh, my post was just lost in the MIDDLE of typing. Let's see.

Glad to have so much to read today. I was bored with myself yesterday.

Susan, hopefully your week won't be as bad as you anticipate. Take time to breathe.

Jeanne, thanks so much for the surprise. I love it and I am sure that Faith will too. I can't believe that you could actually find something like that. I love my flat top range. I couldn't live with out it. After I got mine I realized that it is criminal if a woman doesn't have one. I have had mine for 6 years now. You are missed here. Can't wait till things slow down for you and you can rejoin us. Hi to Joyce the lurker. I miss you too.

Geez Julie, don't say so much!

Ok Barb, confess. Are you looking for a new house?? You sound just as busy as Susan. That's pretty BAD!

Sally, so sorry that you got sick. I just hope to get through the holidays. I am not sleeping well for some reason. I just know that my immune system is down because of it. I hope one of those little buggers don't get me. Take it SLOW now so you can actually enjoy Christmas when it arrives! I love Christmas movies. I have to watch everyone that I can find. And my traditional movie is White Christmas with Bing Crosby. I also have to watch, which is probably my favorite, Little House on the Prairie Christmas shows. I own two of them. Then the Lifetime ones and the list goes on.......

Heidi, what horrible news about Faith, Mikey, Eugene and Kristy. They remain in our hearts and prayers. I hope that they can post soon. They are missed as well.

Time to weigh in. ICK!

Busy weekend! We didn't get home until almost 2:30 AM from our friends on Saturday then we had to be at Jerry's brother's at 3 PM yesterday. Kaleigh had fun playing with her cousin yesterday and other kids on Saturday. We are exhausted. I am going to take a nap soon.

It is snowing and blowing today. Supposed to get 1-3" the east side could get 6-10".

Poor Kristy! Pixie dust sent her way!

I made chocolate chip macaroons this morning.

Need to buy Kaleigh some crayons for Christmas. I was hoping her godmother would get them, but she got books instead. Kaleigh loves books too!

Julie: Let me know what you find out. We just went through the same thing with Jerry's dad.

I love Christmas movies too! I still have a bunch to watch.

Jeanne: Good to hear from you!

Sally: I hope you feel better soon!

Sue: Welcome back!

Must be time to slow down. Got a call from school today to pick Turner up. He had a sore throat and upset stomach. He is better now but his throat still hurts. No fever and no white patches on his throat. I'm playing it by ear. So, no hockey practice this evening for him which means I can stay home this evening!! I guess a little soup would be good for him too.

I didn't realize that the finale of Survivor was on last night so I missed it. Oh well. I won't get to watch the Race tomorrow evening since I have a board meeting. I think I will try to get the rest o fthe Christmas packages wrapped this evening.

Hope everyeon is having a good day!
Later!

I baked "Holiday Jam Thumbnail Cookies" for the cookie exchange on Friday 12 dozen cookies & I used my new oven! I can not wait until Tuesday & Wednesday are done & then I am off until after Christmas.

FAITH: I am thinking about you & Kristy. It's always SOMETHING!

Hope you all had a great day & now have a great night. Miss you all! :grouphug: Toodles  :earboy2: JEANNE

Jeanne, it's a good thing you clarified the "cookies". We know the trouble you have had with cookies in the past. I would have thought you put that darn computer in the new oven!!:D

Have a great day, everyone.

Later!

12 dozen of cookies, that is a lot of cookies!!! An old coworker and I are baking cookies together tomorrow, we will do about 8 dozen!!!

I wasn't sure about Survivor...not sure if any of them really deserved to win. It drives me crazy when Jeff does his little skit of taking the votes off the island and back to Hollywood...it looks so unbelievably fake.

Tonight is a busy TV night for me: Gilligans Island, High School Reunion, and Amazing Race!!!!

I am like you Heidi....I don't think either one deserved to win....what is that teaching kids, that it is ok to lie as long as you benifit from it. To me a lie is a lie for whatever reason.

I have never watched High School Reunion or Gilligans Island....are they good?

Good Morning

We are looking for a new house. We figured it is a good time in our lives to buy otherwise you hit that point when buying is no longer an option. I would like to go North in a treed area. I have found that the average house cost in Colorado Springs now is $300,000. Yikes! We may end up staying where we are.

I baked cookies last night and have to bake again tonight. I also want to go shopping this week. So much to do so little time!

Barb

Jeanne, 12 dozens cookies? That is a lot of baking. At least the chore is done! Off until after Christmas? How nice!

Barb, I just had a funny feeling that you were thinking about moving. Hope it works out. I would love to move into the Black Forest or Monument area. I just need to win the lottery.

Sally, we like Gilligans Island and High School Reunion. We have watched High School Reunion for 3 years so far. I agree with you. A lie is a lie. And the excuse that ii is a game doesn't sit pretty with me.

Heidi, do I at least get ONE cookie? Who are the 8 dozen for if Mychelle doesn't work with you anymore?

Poor Turner's body is tired and just wanted a day off too. Sorry you missed the end of Survivor Susan. It wasn't all that good anyway.

Denine, how much did that snow storm dump on you? We need snow as ours has all melted. We have had some gorgeous days. But....I want a white Christmas. Even if it is old snow still on the ground. Our grass is still perfectly green.

I am with Heidi. Tonight is good tv night. Almost done wrapping so I will be able to rest a little better tonight. It is always so hard for me when I know that I have a zillion things to do. Today is Graci and making fudge. Call me crazy! Tomorrow I have to run to the post office. That is crazier yet.

Have a great day everyone. Will probably check back in later.

I like High School Reunion, this one seems to be a little more mean and catty girls...but we will see.

Mom - you can't have a cookie, you are on a diet. We are making cookies for both of our offices. She is taking the afternoon off at her job on Firday and sneaking into our christmas party potluck as the grinch. Only I know!!! She is so excited, people are going to be so suprised.

Okay I got shafted today at work. Everyone is here and I did not get my secret santa gift, they forgot about me. How rude!!! I made up a new rule for next year since so many people have seemed to "forgot" this year. My new rule is that if you forgot your secret santa gift than you have to give them the one that you got.

Barb - I would like to live in Black Forest if I could, the area is so beautiful...expensive though!!!

Well, the forecasters were wrong again. We got about 5-6" of snow and out east got up to 18". I am so glad I don't live out east anymore! It was snowing so hard you couldn't even see across the street.

I made dough for the cut outs today and a butter cookie. More baking tomorrow.

I still have wrapping to do, but never a chance to do it. I can't leave Kaleigh for a second without her getting into trouble!

Kaleigh is supposed to be napping, but she is upstairs calling for mommy. I will ignore her a while.

Sue: Turner definitely needs to slow down. Hope he feels better soon.

I made Italian wedding soup last night, but it tasted like it needed something. I have to go searching. I have enough for an army. Anyone want to come over?

Hera has another eye infection, poor thing!

Heidi: Sounds like you already have some Grinches at work! How could they forget their secret santa gift?

Barb: It is fun to look at new houses. What kind are you looking for? I personally like sprawling ranches, but they are next to impossible to come by. So, we ended up with your traditional colonial. We didn't pay that much for this house, but that is why we didn't stay in Strongsville.

Denine, I am with you in ranches. We perfer the ranch style too. They are hard to come by because it takes more land to build on. How sad! Soup? You bet, I'm there. I love soup. Heidi won't share her cookies. Do you have any extra?

Heidi, I heard from Kristy, too and wrote her back. I think the new secret santa rule is perfect for your office. Maybe your secret santa will run out at lunch time. How did Freddy do?

Everyone keep Kristy in your prayers tomorrow. She is going to Boston for her eye exam. Stacey goes in tomorrow for her ultrasound. Ohhhhh, I can't wait. How far along can you find out the sex of the baby? Before she was pregnant I told the girls that I didn't want to know ahead of time and now that the time is here......I WANT TO KNOW! I can't wait.

Better run. Can anyone send me a homemade cookie? Just one? Or maybe two? Please?

Sandy: If you come visit me for some soup, I will be more than happy to give you a cookie!

Kaleigh refuses to take a nap. I want one so badly, but I can't with her awake and banging on her crib.

Pixie dust to Kristy!

I don't know when you can find out the sex of a baby on US. Julie?

Okay mom, I will share your choice on ONE and only ONE cookie. You better cherish that cookie because that is the last cookie you will get this holiday. You need to stay on your diet.

My secret santa ended up coming through and with something so cute that I absolutely love. It is a coffee mug filled with hot chocolate flavors, and an oven mit stuffed with Brownie mix...SOO cute. Poor Freddie got a 6-pack of Dr. Pepper yesterday (he only drinks Coke), and today he got 5 cheese and cracker packets that Handi Snacks makes for little kids. Mom - just to let you know, I am going to be late today, I am going to pick him up something for the rest of the week.

Too early to find out the sex of a baby, I thought you had to be like 20 weeks along. I dunno tho!!

Hi everyone! I love it outside!!! We have about a good 8+inches outside of the white stuff!!! Tried to get the rest of my shopping done this morning, got some but still have more.

Sandy, how far along is Stacy? Is this her first dr. visit since she found out she was going to be a mommy? Usually you can find the sex of the baby at 18 to 20 weeks. Usually right after the 3 month mark. The US now a days are soooooo advanced!!! Is she going to have a 3D one done? Those are sooo "freaky" if you ask me. The US looks just like you are looking at the baby in person!

PIXIE DUST TO KRISTY!!!

FYI... Garry's dad'd chest x-ray came back normal!! YEAH!!! So now they are doing more tests to see what was bleeding.

Denine, I just got off the phone with Garry's brother, he IS coming up this weekend so I guess we will have to do zoo lights next year or after Christmas this year. Bill (Garry's brother) informed me that he took the weekend off because he was sure dad had cancer. So now that he doesn't he can't get the days back from work so they are coming this weekend and not next week. OH BOY..... FUN FUN FUN!!! NOT!!! I did think about stopping Friday after I get Anna Marie to get our alcohol (weather permitting that is). Would that be ok for you? It would be around 4-ish? Let me know.

Well gotta fly. Gonna start dinner and begin to make cookie dough!

Hi Barb, Sally, Jeanne and Susan!!!

Gift exchange....... Sunday night 8:00pm or 8:30pm?

I had a board meeting last night so I didn't see AR. Who was eliminated?

It is soooo cold! We had 70s last week and it was so nice and now it is 20. At least it is supposed to be sunny all week.

Paul comes home tomorrow and we have to get packed. So much to do!

Have a good day. I'll be back on soon.

Later!

Hello all and Happy Holidays!!!

We are crazy here like everyone else. Clare has her play tomorrow (she is a snow fairy) and a party on Friday.

The Big Man called her last night (no, not Garry) and she didn't seem all that surprised. Oh well, she was watching Charlie Brown, and I don't think it has hit her yet.

Just got back from Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, and you talk about Holiday fun. I am taking Clare there for a girl's night on Sunday. They do elf tuck-ins, stories with Mrs. Claus, Carriage rides and Pretty and Polished ( a little glittery manicure and pedicure for kids). And the best part is that we get to stay in these cool cabins with fireplaces, kitchens and lights galore (oh and a bunch of taxidermy stuff - my last cabin had 3 deer, one racoon, a squirrel and a stuffed porcupine oh, and 2 pheasants)

Sorrry, just chatty today.

Krista

Sorry Anne Marie that your team was eliminated last night. Susan - the older couple got eliminated last night. I cannot believe Johnathon and how he treated Victoria, they got 2nd place it wasn't like they were last or eliminated. He was screaming at her about picking up his bag and he SHOVED her. What a jerk. My team is so scandalous, Kendra makes me mad when she kept making the ignorant comments about Africa.

Julie - glad everything turned out normal for your FIL. Snow, whats that? Haven't had that in a while. Here's to hoping for a White Christmas. I say let's go for 8:00 on Sunday night. Wait 8:00 who's time, sorry I am new at this!!!

Krista - When they changed the DISboards around, they made new little tags for under your name. How cute Clare must have looked as a little snow fairy..pics?
