Well it was an official NO SHOW! I called every half hour from 3:30pm til 5:30pm. I kept getting their answering service. FINALLY at 6:15pm the guy calls and said....Didn't they call you at 3 to tell you we would be there at 4:15 -4:30pm? I said no but it is STILL 2 hours from that and you aren't here!!!! Well after a song and dance, he said we can do either one of two thing: 1. I can have the guys come over after they are finished at the first house or 2. I can personally come over Thursday morning at 8-8:30am and do your windows. I then said "how long do the windows take?" He says 2 hours. I told him that IF they got her at 7pm they wouldn't be done until 9pm. I've got small children who are in bed by then! SO, long story short.... (I know too late) he will be here Thursday come H*** or high water!!!

Denine, so sorry to hear about all the yuckies at your house. WHat will you do if your MIL cancels Thanksgiving?

Amazing Race in less then an hour!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!! Heidi, Sally, Sandy and anyone else who watches the show, maybe we should start a pool of some sort too! obviously this 2 hour special doesn't count,but we could do it for the rest. What do you think?

Okay Amazing Race was insane last night. I can't believe how many people were fighting last night and it was only the first checkpoint...dang just wait until they get to the 10th checkpoint!! I also can't believe all the models they have on this one. I am rooting for 2 teams (I can't remember their names) but the team that was 1st place and the long distance dating couple. I was rooting for Sally's team for her too!!!

Poor Julie, that would have made me so mad!! Sounds just like ProSource huh mom!!!

Oh Denine, poor you hang in there and I hope everything gets better for your family.

Bonnie - I LOVE THE CD...THANK YOU SO MUCH I brought it to work to show everyone today. It brought back so many good memories.

We laughed so much last night at our teams....Crissy and I was betting which one of our teams was going to get kicked of first and she won....lol. There was one team that no one had so she gets it...the grandparents. She picked our teams so I told her not to ever pick any lottery tickets for me....lol. I like the black daughter but he seems a little bossy and can you believe he is out in the snow without many clothes on and rubbing snow all over him when it is freezing.....I hope they last at least a few weeks but it doesn't look too promising after last night.

Some of those people are so rude....if my husband talked to me like that one guy did to his wife I would have buried him in the snow!

I am for another pool...sure am not going to do good in the one I am in. I am like you Heidi, I like the first place couple and the long distance dating couple.

Poor Julie and the windows. Long saga and still not over!! Julie, I swear that is exactly what we went through with the roof. Not once but SEVERAL times. My advice to you is when they DO arrive make sure that you stay on their tails so they do it right. Ours was beautifully done according to the county inspector but Ted caught them not putting up the flashing that we ordered so TED drove to Home Depot and bought it himself. Because of everything they put us through we made them pay us back. We had to stay on them from July through Oct. We just got the check last Saturday. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Sally, wow. I thought for sure at one point that your team would have lost. Sally and Julie, I couldn't believe models either. I hope that they aren't going to change the show and just have big breasts and good looks. I like real people. Everyday people. Lots and lots of fights last night. The wrestlers got on my last nerve. They fought like cats and dogs and then for the camera they get out in the snow and wrestle. Like "look at me". I agree with the others. I like the same 2 teams.

I LOVED MY CD. It was so awesome. The music, the pictures just everything. Yes, I did tear up! It was THAT good. THANKS BONNIE !!

Kaleigh seems a bit better today. She is eating and drinking. She still has the diarrhea. The docs office called to say she has the rotavirus. I asked how long will the dirrhea last, she said 10-15 days! At least Kaleigh doesn't seem to have a bad cold. Hopefully it won't turn into an ear infection. If it does, i am leaving home!
The said to put Lamisil on her butt. It looks like a yeast infection. I have been putting an anti-fungal on it.

Julie: For their sake, I hope the come to replace your windows in the morning. We don't know what we will do if Jerry's mom cancels Thanksgiving. She doesn't want to and has all the stuff. She wants to wait till they find out some test results on Saturday. My mom said their church does a Thanksgiving dinner, but she needs to know by Sunday. We go to my parents in the morning. I have a turkey in the freezer, I just can't see making a huge turkey for 2 people.

Jasper goes to the vet this afternoon. The infection is now in both eyes.

Kristy (Faith's daughter) called my mom and told her that Faith has been admitted to the hospital. She said it was due to an inflamed kidney. She is doing okay. My mom has asked me to post this so you can keep Faith and her family in your prayers.

I am back at work with stingy eyes! The medicine is helping alot. the pain is gone just the burning is left.

Went Christmas shopping last night and got 5 people done. I am feeling pretty good!

I am home now with some presents in tow. Yahoo! Bought groceries for this Saturday and some for Thanksgiving. We are having some friends over for dinner and games on Saturday and I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner for Ted's dad and perhaps my brother.

Yes, I did talk to Kristy and Kristy seems to be holding it together. She's tired and hungry so Eugene and her went home to eat and relax a tad. Faith was admitted for over night and they will reevaluate tomorrow. Just like Heidi said it is an inflamed kidney maybe due to IBS. She had flu like symptoms yesterday and didn't go to work. Pixie dust to Faith and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Barb, you still don't sound perfect yet. Pain or stinging sounds bad no matter what. Take care of yourself.

Poor Kaleigh. I can't imagine how sore her bottom is!! When all my zillions of kids had raw butts I resorted to warm wet wash clothes instead of the burning baby wipes. That seemed better....less screaming anyway. Poor Jaspar. Double eye infections. What caused that? Lots of hugs sent to you, Jerry and Kaleigh.

Been MIA...not reading email or the posts til today. Whatever bug caused this sinus infection it is a doozy. I have been going to work however...everyone seems to be getting it.

Anyway...glad you liked the CD...I knew you would tear up Sandy...I even told them that at work. You didn't disappoint me. Have to call Jeanne so I can drop her's and Joyce's off. Julie I will mail yours this week and if Darren or Rachael are lurking (doubt it) Theirs will be in the mail soon also.
Sent one to Glenn...he wishes he went!! I told him so! He never listens to me.

Denine-If you can get ahold of some Mycolog cream (probably still RX) that works great on the butt!!! Poor Kaleigh! Try rice. That works on dogs very well...also used to give it to chemo patients who had the runs.

My neighbor had her by-pass today. Ray called to tell me everything went well...I had told him not to worry about calling me with good news...he had 15 other calls he had to make but he did anyway. Thank heavens it went well...if anything happened to one or the other they would be absolutely lost!

Julie-did the windo man show? I hope so!!! I would be furious. I hope he gives you a break for the no show and aggravation.

Hi guys! Well, the windows are SUPPOSE to go in tomorrow morning. The owner called and said he would personally come out tomorrow morning to put them in himself. He is suppose to be here between 8 and 8:30am. We shall see!

I had this ready to post at 2pm., but the internet went down so I had to wait until it was back up to post this.

The Amazing Race looks ok. A lot of the teams seem to be more combative then ones in the past. Just remember,"models" is also short for I don't have a real job, so model sounds good and maybe I can get some work after my appearance on this show. I bet a few of them are waiters or work in some store you might find in the mall. They just HOPE they can get a modeling career. The husband and wife team from California are the worst!! If my husband talked to me the way he did to her, I would have killed him A LONG time ago!!!

SO Sally, Heidi, and Sandy want to pick teams? Anyone else want to get in on it too? I figure what we can do is put the teams in a hat (like I do for the christmas exchange) and depending on how many of us want to do it, will determine how many teams a piece we get. The winning team will get something (still working on it) that you get to keep UNTIL the next Amazing Race and then that winner will get it. Sounds ok? I'm up for any and all ideas. Just something I was throwing around. Anyone else have any ideas?

Garry got home from work this afternoon at 1pm. He went in last night at 10pm. He has to go back tonight at 10pm! He was standing out in the cold from 5:30am until 11am. They got a call of a car on fire tand once the fire dept. got the fire under control, they saw a body in it! SO, he now has a probable homicide! They know who the person was who was in the car, so at least they have that much. He had to wait for the coronor to search the crime scene. Garry said they had a "team" from the coronor's office come out. They took the car body and all down town to investigate more. SO that was his morning!!!!! He didn't go much into details about the body except to say that he saw body parts that are usually on the inside! Bet he is going to have some strange dreams while he sleeps this afternoon! That is IF he sleeps!

Hi, no news yet. mom's in a lot of pain but they keep the meds coming. I told her you send love and pixi dust that made her smile. they are doing a few more tests tommorow hopefully we can find out whats wrong and fix it. but for now it's mostly just pain control. Euge is dropping me off at 330am tommorw thankfully they all know me there. i'll let you know when i find out anything......

Denine, so how is "The House of Sick"? LOL!!! That is usually my title!!! Don't fret..... everyone here either has a cold, getting a cold, or has a sinus infection. Garry (Big Garry that is) has a nasty cold and sore throat. It didn't help being outside yesterday morning for the plus hours. Brooke has a nasty cold. Her poor eyes just keep watering and are soooo red. We think Anna Marie gave it all to us when she came over last weekend. She never has her coat zipped or buttoned in any kind of weather. She gets that from her mother!

Well, I better go. I have to be up early so the basement is ready for the "window people" yeah right! So help me...... if they don't show tomorrow...........you will be hearing about me on your local news... "Local woman goes crazy.....Breaks window business... windows, heads and all'!

I'll let you all know tomorrow if they get done.

Anyone else up for the Amazing Race pool? So far it is Sandy, Heidi, (I assume Sally ) and myself. Anymore suggestions about how to do it? If not, I can draw the teams for everyone if you want or if someone else wants to take on this task I won't have hurt feelings.

Julie - your definition of a model was hilarious!! I would love to do the pool for Amazing Race. The "trophy" prize that floats sounds great to me. Maybe we can all put in a few bucks and come up with a "trophy that travels." THEY'RE HERE!!!!!! THEY'RE HERE!!!!!!!!


They showed up at 8:39am. 9mins. late, but I gave them til 9am before I started cleaning the shotgun !(just kidding!) I just got back from taking Makenzie and Garry to school. Brooke just finished her bottle and is in bed. This is when she takes her LONG nap! She goes down between 8:45-9:30am and sleeps til almost noon! I love that time of the day. I know it won't last either.

Susan posted before that I thought this was her busy week. (every week is a busy week for her! lol!)

I hope that Kristy can post soon!

I just want you to know, I already have some Christmas gifts AND they are wrapped!!! I figure if I don't wrap them the night I get them, I'll be wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve (like I do every year).My basement was my "hidding place" but since we have "redone" the basement, the kids play down there all the time, so I had to wrap them and put them in bags and hide them in our closet. Now if I could do that with EVERYTHING I have to do, I'd make Martha Stewart look like mouse, just like the one in her jail cell! LOL!

Gonna go, I have to go down stairs to keep an eye on them! Just to make them nervous!
