Sandy, I think that I can send you a copy of that picture of the recipe if you want it. If you looked closely at the picture, you can see me taking the picture.

Have a great day everyone!

I tried to post this yesterday evening but before I could get it submitted, our internet went down again. So I coipied and pasted to save it until it was back up but it took until this morning. Anyway, here is my post from yesterday:

Back from the football game and I need a shower. It got up to 72 and we were sitting where the sun was beating on us the whole time. We did have a good time even though we lost. I saw where Jeanne's Eagles lost too. Sorry, Jeanne.

Sandy, I may have the week all planned out but it never goes a smoothly as the plans sound!

I'm not saving the Calgon for Paul. He called me while I was at the game and said he made it to Louisville fine. He even did a tour of the Louisville Slugger museum and is having a bat made for Turner with his name engraved in it. He is supposed to be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. The museum is only a couple of blocks from his hotel. SO, he seems to be having a good time already. This trip was for a conference, one he likes, so he won't need my precious Calgon!!

I get to have a partial day of pampering Thursday. I have the day off for Veteran's Day and I am going to get a facial and pedicure. I just had my nails done Friday so I don't need that again. I have never had a facial. I hope I really enjoy it. Turner has hockey practice in the evening on Thursday and Paul is working a case, so my pampering will end around 5:00. Oh well, at least I get some pampering!

Guess I better get a load of laundry on.

Later!

Paul sounds like he is having fun. I am right there with you Susan, I have Veterans Day off and the friday off so I get to look forward to a 4 day weekend!!!

Okay Denine I will send you a copy of the skit also. I think we were drinking wine when we were in the bathtub, not sure why we didn't bring our glasses!!! That would have been even funnier. BTW I loved your kitties. I think Bonnie was the one wearing the fuzzy slippers in the picture, I loved those slippers!!

I tried the best drink yesterday. It was a Malibu Margarita. Malibu rum is my absolute favorite liquor. We tried to re-create it last night at home, but just didn't get it...instead I think I got my parents and I a little tipsy. NOTE: Do not use the big glasses and do not keep adding coconut and malibu rum to the concoction to make it sweeter after you just poured a shot into it!!!

Loved the pictures Julie. If I was smart enough I could possible try putting our pictures on WebShots. Does it cost money to put them on there?

Since I was stuck in the house waiting for the heater to be serviced I was FORCED to clean the downstairs. It was really a mess. I also washed bed linens (getting ready for the cold).

The Carnival Cruise:boat: is only four days. The ship leaves from Long Beach right near where the Queen Mary is docked. We visit Catalina Island, at sea, Ensenada, Mexico, at sea & then back. It should be fun! I'm sure it could NEVER compare to DCL because it is the friends:grouphug: that make it special.

SANDY: Thank you for the wonderful card. Great minds think alike because I sent your pictures out that same day.

JULIE: I am going to my OTHER e-mail to look at the pictures.

Joyce & I had a great day at work yesterday. I have to admit we were actually bored:bored:. Getting chilly in N.J. Hope you all are well & rested. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Good morning guys,

Nothing really new here. Heidi was working on the picture CD again. I can't wait to get it done. Heidi's drink at Armadillo's was sooooo good. Wish Lori was there! :teeth: Hoping she will see that.

Jeanne, your cruise sounds like fun! I am wondering if where you embark is where we found a wonderful restaurant. Something like Anthony's. Heidi, not the one we really, really like.

All of you are getting things done. Any volunteers for my bank statementS. Notice that is PLURAL.

Susan found out that she was in the Walt Disney Suite, that she actually took a bath there, and had dinner with all of us. Not sure if you know Susan that you were in the Dudettes cabin as well. My, my you did get around. I would love to have a facial. I had a mini one at the mall once. It was wonderful. Never had a pedicure, not sure if I could do it. But.....after seeing the results of the pedicure that the dudettes had.....I want one too.

Julie, IF you think you can send that pic to me that would be great. Don't put yourself out though. Oh my, we sure loved your pictures. I even saw one that I thought would be a great Christmas card.

What a morning! Waited for the heater to be serviced & while I was watching TV all the electric in the house went out! I heard a sound & then NO ELECTRIC which meant the heater couldn't be serviced! I called the electric company & just when the repair truck pulled up the electric came back on! HOORAY!!!!:Pinkbounc So right now my heater is being serviced.

JULIE: I could only see the first two pictures because when I clicked on the pictures nothing happened. Don't ask! I did love the first two photos.

SANDY: You should be getting your photos soon! Did you check out Beanos pictures?

Hope you all have a great Monday. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE P.S. Heidi how's Radar?

Julie: I got through the first section of pictures. They are great! We didn't get a chance to pick ours up yesterday, so it was nice to see someone's picutes.

Kaleigh got so clingy and spoiled on vacation and last week that she is driving us nuts! I am ready for another vacation, without kids!

They are doing so much work around here today, trucks everywhere!

Seeing those Castaway picuters...doesn't that make everyone want to come on the 10-14-2006 cruise with us? 2 days at Castaway you know!

We are trying to decide our plans for the rest of next year. I think we are going to go to Hilton Head for a few days in February and then to WDW in June to hook with Julie's clan for a while.

Jeanne: I hope you get your heater fully functioning! And that your power stays on.

Sue: Enjoy your facial. It is pure heaven!

I just viewed the rest of Julie's pictures. They are great too.

It isn't easy to type with a cat on your lap!

I just bought a Bear for Kaleigh on E-bay for $10 including shipping. He is a good sized one, new with tags.

I am actually going to have to wake Kaleigh up from her nap. It is almost 5PM!

Denine, you are so cute about the Oct 2006 cruise! Not only is it hard to type with a kitty on your lap but also a two year old.

Jeanne, got the pictures today. Thanks so much! I had forgotten about a couple of them. It was a fun day coming home to them. What a horrible day you had! Hope it all worked out. Yes, I did look at Beano's pics. What did you think? Not just because of Faith, but I think I like the lighter wood better. By the way, I found the recipe for the orange mango soup that I liked on embarkation. Just need to cut it down. The recipe serves something like 300.

I have been Christmas shopping and this is a bad year. I have NO ideas for anyone except Heidi. I walk aimlessly. They probably have security following me!

Krista, where are you? You came out of lurking to post when we were all gone. Now where are you?

Well, the laundry is calling my name. Better run.

Heater has been serviced, electric is back, life is good!

My son Ted just went to pick up Dodger (he misses him too!). The only bad thing about the dog coming here is that the weather is supposed to drop below freezing tonight & I HATE walking the dog in the cold:rolleyes:.

SANDY: I think the Walt Disney Suite looked bigger with the lighter wood. Glad you liked the pictures. I still have the water disposable & one other regular disposable camera with pictures to get developed but there are still some pictures left.

Hope you all had a great day today. Nothing scheduled tomorrow but Wednesday AM Joyce & I are meeting for breakfast. Boy I wish you guys lived closer:grouphug:. Can you feel the love tonight? Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

BONNIE, KRISTA, SALLY, BARB, PATTY/PATTI. COME OUT COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE !

Jeanne, sounds like your day turned out ok. Tuesday and Wednesday sounds good, too. Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out. Wish I could go, too. I am on a very bad diet for the next two days. I get special juice, lots and lots of water, 2 protein bars, 6 oz of meat and 2 cups of raw GREEN vegetables and that is it. Actually it isn't all that bad. The liquid fills you up. It is your mind that feels sorry for itself! It's only for 2 days. I HAVE to lose, I HAVE TO!!

Sandy, you go girl!! We know you can lose the weight. You have done it before! We are with you!

Denine, tomorrow is out, I forgot that I'm volunteering at Makenzie's school to help collect for the fundraiser. So let's go with Thursday. (the day after my birthday and I believe it is Susan's birthday).

Jeanne, glad to hear all is well with you heater and electric! If you have ANY triplets or quads of any pictures, I would love to see them too! I got the 3 from Heidi of the gang in the suite and in the bathtub.

Heidi, do you have any pictures of Radar? "Balls to you sir, balls to you sir.....up and down the court!!!"

Well, gotta go! I'll check back in later!

Too tired to post much but I wanted to say hello. I just finished taking care of my Dad's financial details and Yes, Sandy, I just balanced his checkbook for the past 9 months and he was only off by 12 cents! I don't know how I let it go that long but at least it was not bad. His girlfriend and I had a bottle of wine while I sat and did all the paperwork. It was a nice Riesling!

I have a long noght tomorrow night with the board meeting but I'll try to post if I have a few minutes and I'm not too tired.

So I was in the Dudettes room too, huh? Where else was I on the cruise?? Did I make it to Castaway Cay or did I need to stay on board to rest from all the excitement?:p

Love you guys!!
Later!

Hi guys...I am here. I am not getting notified when anyone posts anymore....had a time finding the board again.

I am having a very busy week.....first I was shampooing the living room on Sat. when Dick came home and said to go over to the neighbors and see if they had any furniture I wanted. They are moving to Sun City and decided not to move the furniture. So I went over and ended up buying her living room things. All in all I got 9 pieces. I had just been thinking I was ready for a change when this came up. And the best part is Patti is taking my furniture for her guest room. One of the sofas is a hide a bed.

She had an entertainment center...two bookcases and a tv cabinet. We are putting the tv cabinet and one bookcase in the computer room as there isn't room for it anyplace else. We have a big screen so it wouldn't fit anyway. Then this morning I took everything out of the computer room except for the desk and computer desk. When Dick got home from work we started pulling the carpet up. We got about half the room done and furniture moved back in and will finish tomorrow. We went over and brought one of the bookcases home and Dick pulled the muscle in his side so we decided not to move anymore furniture by ourself. Ken is coming up to get our furniture so he and whoever comes with him will move it for us. I guess we are getting too old for this much work.
It was about this time last year we got new carpet downstairs and was torn up for awhile before Christmas.

One thing I forgot to tell you about the cruise....at our first stop we went to the beach...Dick was going on a tour and he was looking at my ticket and said did you know you are going to a nude beach....I thought he was kidding but he wasn't. He wanted to know why Patti booked him for a tour when we were going to a nude beach....

Really didn't see any total nudes except a little girl about 4....saw an old man in a thong and nobody should have to see that!

Saw a couple women that was topless and don't know why they bothered....didn't have anything to show off. But at least I can say I was at a nude beach....another thing to cross off my list of things to do.

Sally, you got my day stated with a good laugh! Yes, you can cross off going to a nude beach and you can also mark off seeing an old man in a thong! What you didn't tell us is whether you were topless or nude!! Can you mark that off???:p

Looks like you guys made out getting that furniture. Too bad Dick had to get hurt in the process. Hope he is better soon!

I hope eveyone has a great day.

Love you guys!
Later!

JULIE: Bonnie made all the shirts and they are nicer in person then in the pictures. Each shirt had the person's favorite character on it. Sandy had Jiminy Cricket, Joyce had Donald Duck, Bonnie had Baloo, etc. She did a great job! Sandy made a door magnet that also had everyone's favorite on it. OUR DOORS WERE REALLY DECORATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will have to ask Joyce about the guy in the thong in Key West.

Early morning since Dodger is here. It is really cold::yes::. I had to put on my winter coat this AM to walk the dog! Hope you all are staying warm. I can't wait until it snows. Have a great day. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Sally - you really made my morning, I was laughing so hard to find that you booked a nude beach. That would have been a shock for me!!! No thank you!!!

Sally came out, now it is Barb, Sally, Bonnie and Krista's time to come out and stop by to say hi.

Julie - I don't have any pictures of Radar. I know that Kristy took 2 pictures of us on his digital camera so maybe I will ask him for those so you all can see him. There is also a picture of him on Pdarrah's website, I just don't remember the web page to get there. He made a DVD of everything so I should be getting a copy of the Diversions skit at the end of the week. Hopefully it turned out good.

Susan - you need to rest, hopefully things will calm down for you.

Yea 2 more days left of work for me.

Susan, no I didn't go topless or nude...that would be something you shouldn't have to see and either do I have anything to show off......and the sad part is I don't think I ever did!
