I ffel so out of the loop!

Sandy: You are doing so well with the diet! Things should calm down around here eventually.

Barb: One of my college friends is moving to Colorado to work at Progressive. They asked if she would transfer and she agreed.

Joyce: Congrats to your daughter on Saturday.

I hope they have the Magic back in port by the time we cruise. I don't want to drive to Port Everglades again. That is a long drive.

Julie: How was your mammo???

Looking for landscapers now. We really want to get the lawn in this fall, even if I don't get any plantings in.

Denine-What does your friend do for Progressive? We are opening up a huge IT department and I know they are transfering a lot of people in.

Heidi- I am feeling a little better but I still don't have a lot of energy. Maybe I am just being lazy:(

Barb

Just checking in. I "only" gained .6 lbs. Heidi, I can't blame Armadillo as we have done it 4 other times since the diet and never gained. Oh well, this week is fish, fish, fish.

Denine, good to hear from you. Sure hope we DON'T drive to Port Everglades. Man, that could really mess us all up.

I already got my crab/mango salsa recipe. Along with it he sent his regular salsa recipe and his winning chili recipe. I am so excited. My family will be as well. I have never run across such a nice warm person as he was (and gorgeous).

Jeanne, I forgot to address your lobster dinner. Am I jealous? You bet I am!! Wow Heidi, we need to go visit the east coast and PIG out!

SANDY: Remember you CAN have fish but maybe not the lobster tails with butter. I am really getting nervous about whether we are going to have to drive to Port Everglades. I hate driving when I don't know where I'm going. I guess we will have a follow-the-leader. Getting ready to reserve a car just in case.

The weather is beautiful today but I have the feeling the rain is coming Saturday for Lesley's wedding:sad:. Everybody think sunny:sunny: thoughts on Saturday.

Have a good night. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Well I did it...I joined Curves...heard you all talk about it last year, it is in our area now...all over...and I decided to do it. 30 min. is doable. Just won't be done before the cruise! According to them I have to lose 36# and 36 inches...not too bad...I figure 50# but we'll see after I hit the 36.

JEANNE DON'T RESERVE A CAR!! I plan on driving from the airport to Ron Jon's and turning it in on Saturday at the port.

Barb- Are you saying that "Pixie" is strange looking? LOL! I couldn't resist when you thought it "stange" to think of sharing grandchildren.

Denine-you were exempt from this weekend posting since I figured you were still moving. Julie on the other hand I am a little concerned about although we all need our down time.

regarding Lesley's wedding and rain-I have a theory...if it rains they will have a wonderful marriage and stay married...Sunny-forget it...doesn't last, mine didn't. Everyone I know who had rain is still together...those with beautiful days-divorced!

I TOLD YOU SO BONNIE!! I have more to lose than you. You are the skinny one! You will love Curves! I am proud of you for joining.

Not so fast Sandy!!! You are trying to get into a size 10...I am trying to get into a size 12! I have never been a 10 and I doubt that I will ever be that size therefore my loss is less than yours. To get into a 10 I would have to do the 50# at least...of course that would be to get into today's size 10 not a 30 year ago size 10. To do that I would have to lose entirely too much.

JULIE! WHERE ARE YOU??????????

Turner had homework in every subject last night. I didn't think we would ever get through it. At least he had a good attitude about it.

My Dad is going to have a bone scan on Monday. Keep him in your prayers. We are hoping his cancer has not spread.

I, too, am worried about Julie. WHERE ARE YOU, JULIE???

I read on the Port Canaveral site that the port is back open for business and Disney used it on Saturday and Sunday. I'm glad you guys won't have to go to Port Everglades.

Everyone have a great Tuesday.
Later!

Susan, your dad is in our prayers. Nothing but the best is wished for him and your family.

I sent an email to Julie yesterday to check on her. We'll see......

hmmmmm, Bonnie. Your feeling about the weather and weddings might just have an exclusion. Ted and I got married on a beautiful day up in the mtns. The very next day was a blizzard. Ted and I drove to Colo Spgs (where Barb lives) for our honeymoon and we barely made it. We had relatives that drove to the wedding that had to get out of town FAST because of it. BUT......our marriage survives!!!! After 29 years, I kind of think it will last! I want to get to a size 10 but that doesn't mean I CAN do it. Honestly, a 12 would be fine. We could share clothes. Ha!

Thanks Susan for the update. Glad that Port Canaveral reopened. That could have made for a real mess!

I am so happy to hear Port Canaveral is open again:boat:

SANDY: Have you heard any more about the Ron Jon Resort? If it isn't repaired, I am thinking about staying at WDW for those two days.:earsboy:

BONNIE & SANDY: You two are too much! I am HOPING to fit into my size 14!!!!!!!!:crowded:

I was "mandatory flexed" this AM. I sure didn't want to have to use 12 hours of PTO time to just sit at home but I can't afford not to put in for the time & you can't refuse a mandatory flex.

JULIE: You are worrying your cruise family. Check in.

Hope you all have a great week. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Still nothing from Julie? Is it time to start panicking and call the police? I hope she is okay.

Pixie Dust and Prayers for Susan's dad. I hope everything works out okay. :wizard:

I hope everything goes good for Joyce's DD on her wedding day. If Bonnie's theory is right then Stacey and Rich will last forever, they had a rainy, overcast day!!

Any idea for a care package for my friend who moved to Florida? She is miserable and she hates it in FL right now. She wants to come home but she told her DH that she trusted his judgment so she is not saying anything to him. She has lost 20 lbs and is now weighing 95 pounds. I am scared for her. I sent her a card this morning but would like to send a care package. Any ideas would be helpful.

I made it on 2 days in a row!

Bonnie: Good for you! I would like to join curves, but it is so hard with Kaleigh. Maybe when she is older.

We go sign the papers for our old house this afternoon. We went there 1 last time yesterday to pick uip the Riviera and some other small stuff. Plus, we had to take out the garbage. There was a pang of sadness as we drove off. We enjoyed living there. We just outgrew the place.

My poor Grenada is just devastated from Ivan. I hope it will be beautiful again. I feel so badly for the people. They are so poor.

Yeah about Port Canavaral!

Kaleigh doesn't like the basement. It is all fixed up with couches, TV, play pen, all her toys and she never wants to spend any time down there. I like it. It is cozy. Soon after we go down, she is going back upstairs.

Sue: Pixie dust for your dad!

Our wedding: It rained in the morning and was chilly, but the sun came out in the afternnon. It will be 13 years on the cruise.

It is so nice and quiet here, even with the construction traffic.

Hi everyone! Sorry I went MIA. Since thurs. I've been busy and just been feelin' alittle blue. Thanks for being concerned about me. It means alot.

Thursday, took both Garry and Makenzie to school. Garry once again cried ang made me feel horrible. The teachers (who were Makenzie's the last 2 years) said to leave him. So I did because I had to since I had to go for my second mammo. He made me feel like the worst mother on earth. Plus I'm embarrassed for the act he puts on. I feel like the other mothers, way they look at me are thinking "what on earth...."etc. Then, since Anna Marie is on cross country and has a meet EVERY Sat. until Nov. she won't be coming over. Garry and I thought we would surprise her Sat and go to that meet (it was the ONLY meet that isn't 1 hour away from where we live). So we go and she was very happy to see us and asked us if she could come home with us. We said fine, but her mother said "you can't stay you can only go over for a few hours because you have to babysit." This was a babysitting that her mother set up and didn't ask her. So long story short, she came over for 3 hours and then left. The kids didn't want her to go (either did she). The rest of the day just went down hill from there.

Sunday we went to the Browns game, which they WON! But I'm just not myself. I haven't gotten on the computer in the last4 days. I haven't even checked my emails. I'll try to post more. I've just got to get out of my funk.

Sandy, way to go on the weight loss! Keep it up! I'm proud of you!

Bonnie, let me know what you think of curves. We have one here, but with all the kids I don't have the time.

Jeanne, I thought of you sunday when football started! Go Eagles! (that was just for you!) Tell Joyce that I hope her daughter has a wonderful wedding! Take some pictures so we can see the special day!

Susan, pixie dust for your dad. I hope everything works out and the bone scan is ok.

Barb, thanks for the PM.

Denine, glad you are settled in. You will have to give me directions on how to get to your new house.

Heidi, thanks for thinking of me. Ideas for your friend, what about those cookie grams? Or a care package of goodies like fudge, popcorn, a box of calgon!, auroma (sp) theropy candles, body lotions, flavored coffees, etc. And don't forget a card. You could send her a box with several cards marked with a certain date and tell her to open each card on the day it says. That might keep her going.

Well, gonna go. I have to do SOMETHING today! I'm gonna try to do laundry if the kids let me. I'll check in later! Thanks again for being so concerned.

Yay Julie posted. Glad to see your post again Julie. I'm sorry you are having some rough days and are in a funk. Hopefully we all can help you out of it. Just think you get to cruise in about a month. Think happy thoughts...Pixie dust to make you feel better. I love the card idea, that is perfect and I love to shop for cards. Thanks for the suggestions.

Good to see Denine posting 2 days in a row...how about lets make it 3!!!!

Bonnie - you will have fun at curves. When I went with my mom one time it was a lot of fun. You can do it!!!!

I am so thankful that the hurricane has missed Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral this time. Hopefully they leave the rest of our ports alone. I don't even really care about the ports, I just want to get on that stinkin ship!!!!!

Julie, sorry about your funk. We are here for you! Remember there is lots of love served here daily.

Jeanne, Joyce and Bonnie: I have now contacted Dreams Unlimited. I just read a post from SarahsMomfromPA that RonJon's is closed now for the beginning of October. It just isn't worth it to me to worry about it. I also checked the website for prices and for All Star Movies it will be an additional 119.00 to stay at WDW and for the tickets. No room supposedly at Port Orleans Riverside. I will let you know what we decide to do. Heidi really wants to go to MNSSHP so maybe this is a good thing.

JULIE: :cheer2: This is to cheer you up. Can you feel the love?:grouphug:

SANDY: You know I hate last minute plans. I like everything worked out WAY in advance. I may give you a call later to discuss Disney plans. I think Joyce would like to stay in Disney.

HEIDI: You are so good at posting:rose:. I think you should send your friend all things from Colorado to remind her of home.

Well have a good night. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Julie-Thank heavens...get out of the funk-just think you will have the whole family for a week in one month...is Anna Marie going on the cruise? As far as the Big Guy-don't you remember 2 years ago when you would drop him off at the baby place on the ship? Same thing as I recall!

Jeanne-I don't care whether is is Ron Jon's or WDW...I don't get in until 6PM Friday. We can look into a car rental anyway...it would be cheaper to get to and from the port I believe.

JUst got back from Curves-I like it! Not to crazy about the walking/jogging between equip but I enjoyed. Will be sore tomorrow!! Or Thurs.

Have to drive to Valley Forge tomorrow for an all day off site meeting!!! YUK!!!! Will have to leave in the wee hours of the morning to beat the horrible traffic-Schukill Expressway-2 lanes each way-cliff down on one side, cement barrier with no shoulder on the other!!!! And 16 wheelers to boot!

Julie: Glad you posted! What did they find on your mammo? The Big Guy just loves his mom too much to be left. Hopefully he will be better once he gets used to it. Give me a call if you need to. Do you have my new #?

Heidi: Julie gave you some great idieas. I had the same thoughts as Jeanne about stuff from Colorado, but then maybe thought that would make her even more homesick.

We signed the last papers for the old house and gave the keys to our agent. He then took us out to dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse. That was nice of him.

I got a paw print in plaster from our vet today of Ollie's paw. We still miss him and Shannon so much.
