Thanks for the offer Bonnie of sharing a ride with me, but I get ansy enough on the airplane to get the Florida that I wouldn't be able to wait the 4 hours!! I would probably escape and run to WDW for a few hours, miss the ride and be in really big trouble than!!!

Jeanne - how scary, glad your mom is alright.

Well last night went out with my best friend who is moving to Florida next weekend and it didn't turn out how we expected. Poor waitress, I am sure she regretted having our table with all the tears that were shed and yet we still have one more night next week planned to go out and spend the last night together going to the bars downtown. Not sure if both of us can emotionally hold up to that day!!!

Woke up this morning at 4:15 in mega-rain and we are expected to get more rain and colder through the weekend. I am very tired and couldn't sleep last night because of too much stress.

Work is very stressful right now. Out of 5 Specialists (one of them is me) 3 are gone through next month. Kind of hard to do 5 people workload with 2 people, and I am not even trained on one aspect of our job that I am trying to quickly learn. Both my bosses are gone and I am going insane. I need this cruise!!!

If I don't get back on, I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Heidi, mega rain????? We didn't get any. Wow! I really really sympathize with you. I wish I could do something for you and Taura. It is so hard on the two of you. On top of that you have all that stress at work. Calgon.....take you away.

Jeanne and Bonnie, sounds like you had a good time last night at Los Amigos. We ate Mexican last night as well. We took out Noah and Graci and their mom for dinner. She took impressions for Ted on her own time last night and also cleaned our teeth. Ted gets to bleach his teeth now. He is very grateful to her. We had a good time but I don't want to go weigh in in about 30 min. Poor me. I tried to be careful, tho.

Denine, sorry that you don't like grapefruit. I love it.

Susan, if you are reading this. I miss your posts!

I am not going to try on cruise clothes until October because hopefully by then I will have lost a size or two.

I am so excited. Another pound gone. I was so afraid for nothing.

Well Heidi, we now have the mega rain. Just pouring! I had errands but really don't want to go in this. What to do, what to do!

I am ready to start UNpacking the alcohol! I am trying to do everything around here myself because Jerry is swamped at work and can't leave early to help. I decided that I need to be 3 people and so does Jerry. Plus, he is trying to tie up all the loose ends with the mortgage company so we can sign the papers on Monday. They have really been dragging their collective feet.

I keep packing and packing and there is always more. Tomorrow we start taking everything out of the attic. Taht will be a weekend job in itself. Plus, Jerry has to do more work over the weekend.

On the good side, we start moving 1 week from tomorrow. Of course, we will be at the house doing stuff as soon as we get the keys. We need to put up all the window coverings and hardware that has been purchased.

Bought new rugs for our bathroom so that Kaleigh can have our rugs. I couldn't find the light pink I wanted and we had it in our bathroom. I also bought new sheets for our bed. They were almost half price and will be better than that by the time they take off Jerry's mom's discount. They actually match our comforter. I have never had sheets that match like that before. They are alos the first new sheets I have purscahsed since we have been married.

Heidi: Jerry can commiserate with you about work.

Sandy: Congrats! You are doing so well. We keep cheating with all the stress.

Jeanne: Glad you mom is fine. That is a scare!

Bonnie: Glad you got out with the girls last night. Sounds like you all had fun!

I don't know when I will be back on after today. Maybe not until Tuesday. I'll try to find a break over the weekend.

Jeanne, I forgot to mention about how horrible it must have been about your mom. Glad it all worked out. You are such an awesome daughter!

Another one bites the dust!! all the supervisor's have now quit under one manager...do you think that would tell them something? ANd nobody from within that is posting for the jobs...think they get the hint? NOT! Had to counsel and put 2 notes to file (took most of the morning to write up) on my one associate today regarding job performance, then the computer geek (as I am referred to fondly by my nurses) has to upload all our documents to a website, then run 2 blocks to teach the new hire class about what we do. What a day!!!

Shopping trip...I only wish I was smaller!!!!!

BONNIE: Strawbridges opens at 9:00 A.M. so after breakfast at Cracker Barrel we can head right over to the Moorestown Mall. I did try on my clothes & the palazzo pants will be okay for the semi-formal night but everything is TIGHT! Thank God for "body armor". What size is your silver blue gown from the cruise? I looked at our pictures again & remembered how much I loved your gown. I still do love my navy blue gown too.

I am getting SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited Can't wait until the cruise Toodles again JEANNE

Hi everyone! I had posted earlier,but my post disappeared! I've been fighting another headache today. Had my doctor's appt. and he is sending me for a mamogram next weekend. He's not sure exactly what it is so first things first. He wants to start eliminating things. If the lump gets bigger the next two weeks, he will biopsy it. Fun Fun! I'm sure it's nothing!

Sandy, I agree with Jeanne! We might not recognize youby Oct!!!

Jeanne and Bonnie, have a GREAT time shopping! I too LOVED both of your gowns from our last cruise. I still have the picture of the two in those gowns sitting on my computer stand!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!! That has been my motto all week trying to post a reply with you guys! I kept getting server error messages. VERY FRUSTRATING! It almost felt like I had been banned from the family. Thanks, Julie for posting my messgae so everyone would know why you weren't seeing me post. After that, you all made me feel so much better with your posts about missing me. I was there, you just couldn't tell!!

So, here are just a few thoughts I had this past week:

Denine - with the work week I have had, I woudl have been glad to take a few bottles off your hands so you wouldn't have to pack them. In fact, I could help you pack while drinking your bottles away!!

Sandy - I still want to get a copy of your diet. You are doing so great!

Heidi and Bonnie - hang in there with work. It's just a job! At least, that's what I keep telling myself!

Julie - Give Makenzie a big hug. I am so glad she loves kindergarten.

Bonnie and Jeanne - Sounds like yu guys had a great evening! I hope you had a couple of margaritas for us!! Happy shopping!

Barb - I love reading about the wedding plans. I love tiaras. I can't wait to hear more.

Glen - Congrats! You need to post here with us if we are going to be congratulating you!!

Now, an update from Turner. He finished hockey try-outs for this level of travel. We should hear something early next week. If he doesn't make this then he will have a chance for the travel level he played on last year. That will be determined ina couple of week. School is still going great. He definitely has a different attitude abut school this year.

The 5th grade class has a 3 day 2 night field trip to Earthshine at the end of September. It is a couple of hours away in the mountains. They will step back in time to 1840 and be divided as pioneers and indians. They will learn to live off the land and have to figure out how to live together peacefully. They will fish for trout which they will learn to gut, clean and cook. They will cook their own vegetables, press the apples for cider, help shear the sheep, etc. What a culture shock this is going to be for them.

September is a busy month. There is so much we want to try to do: the county fair, Festival in the Park art festival, Amazing Maize corn maze, Greek festival, Parent Party at Turner's school, hockey practices and games will begin, Turner's trip to Earthshine, and I am sure I am leaving out a lot of stuff.

Happy Happy Saturday Morning!

It is not even 6:30 here and I am up. Dang sometimes I wish I could sleep a little longer on the weekends. I woke up at 5:22 and refused to get out of bed finally I decided I was not going back to sleep so I got up.

Bob got home last night after being gone for 2 weeks. He will be home for about 3 weeks then he goes to Germany for 3 weeks. He gets home on Oct 8 and we leave for Disney on Oct 10 teeehee.

I had to order more Christmas cards. I am a few short. I went to get stamps for my cards and can you believe the Christmas stamps will not even be out for a month!

Today I get to go for a 80 minute facial. Heaven! Then it is off to the commissary to stock up. Since Bob has been gone I have not done any shopping.

Susan-Glad you were able to post! We missed you.

Bonnie and Jeanne, have a great time shopping. Too bad I can't come with!! It would be so much fun.....but would we accomplish anything? I agree, your gowns from last time were gorgeous. If you don't find anything, don't be upset.

Barb, sleep can be so frustrating some times. I bet you love having Bob back. Ted can't be gone very long for me or I would go crazy. Hmmmm, tacky or not tacky that is the question. Gosh, I don't have an answer. I think I am leaning more towards putting on the stamps.

Julie, I bet a million bucks that it isn't anything. I am glad that your doctor is on top of things. Some doctors just look the other way.

Awwww shucks guys, you WILL recognize me. I gained a little since Christmas so I am probably where I was back then. Now to lose the weight that YOU have seen will be the next few months. Sure hope I can keep up the pace. My personal goal is 2 lbs per week. I did it once, I can do it again, right??

The weather turned out lovely today. We should have gone camping. Oh well, we can get some things done this weekend. We are helping throw a 50th anniversary party next weekend so HEidi, Stacey and I can go shopping for it while Richard and Ted work on our truck. Nice! Ted is at his dads right now helping him. We are thinking about sneaking off to the movies this afternoon. Can't think of the last time that we did that!

NO great bargain on a gown for me...I did get one in Boscov's but it wasn't the deal that Jenne & Joyce got! I did get some more casual clothes though for $4 each, $5 each. I will keep the receipts to return what I don't use...if I don't lose any weight or firm up anyway lets see if I do Sandy's 2#/wk I will be ok.

Now I have to organize the clothes.

Joyce & I did get the BARGAIN gowns $178.00 gowns for $32.78 but the problem is we can't get into them!!!!!!!! Now I HAVE TO lose weight. Thanks for the diet Sandy. We had a great time shopping but thought we were going to get kicked out of a few dressing rooms from laughing so hard

Wow, I have nothing in common here! I don't go anywhere fancy so I don't need to by a formal gown or lose weight to fit into it. I'll just hang out and buy more food with all that extra money, LOL!
I gave up on the Florida for fall break vacation when I saw how much it is to do Hawaii in peak season. Just need to decide on an available property and airfare. Can you believe I'm tired of looking and planning? I've really gotten used to not being on the computer much. I tried a travel agent and she drove me nuts for being slower on it than me, so here I am again, LOL. I'm flipping out I think.

Oh yeah. Barb, maybe you could put the stamps in with the cards so they could use them elsewhere if not for the reply. Then you won't look like you ditched them on stamps, yet they won't go to waste either.

Good morning everyone......

I have been so busy but don't know what I have done....well, I did have a yard sale and that is a job but made $300 but the best part was getting rid of a lot of stuff

Yesterday I went to a nursing home with my church group...it is a really nice one...it was built for the millitary...they have housing and then if they need it they have a special care building.

Sandy please send me a copy of your diet to add to my collection....always looking for the perfect one.

I have my Christmas cards bought so when Barb gets hers done don't you think she should do mine????

My son and his wife, daughter and new baby are coming sometime before the cruise. They haven't said when for sure but I hope it isn't the week before....that would make everything a little rushed.

Next weekend is a party in Hobbs; Sept and ashort time until the cruise; Halloween; Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wow, another year almost gone.
