Heidi, your mom IS awake but has to shower. I will post later. Heidi if you want the duvet cover buy it. You never did get one.

Hi guys, I AM awake and showered.

Yea, Turner! Way to go. We knew that you could do it!!

Poor Susan. Sorry you have had many of those procedures. Do you ever lose weight with them? Been thinking of you and the storms, NOT JULIE.

Julie, how awful. What a storm you had! An expensive one at that. It is hard to be without power when you have such little ones. I lost for a short time this year and Noah and Graci went crazy.

Jeanne, you must be starting the real diet now. Good luck. How often are you going to weigh yourself? I do it 3x a week. I think you did it right for the V8 Splash.

Bonnie and Sally, I tried making copies of the diet here at the house but we must be running out of ink. I had Ted take it to work and he is going to do it for me. So....you won't get it for a few more days. Don't want you to think that I forgot you.

Heidi, i think that we just need to make that appt and try and prequalify with her for the townhouse. If you try an outside lender, I wonder if we could call OUR mortgage co. and maybe they could help. Don't let me forget to get those tiles that Noah and Graci painted for their mom. They should be ready today.

Almost time for the kids. Have a zillion things to do before they get here.

Thank you sll for your sympathies about Ollie. He was the sweetest cat. Every one that met him loved him. He will be greatly missed.

I know I need to respond to a lot of messages, but I am just so down about Ollie. Maybe tomorrow.

We can't even get excited about the house because there was a chance they weren't even going to give us the loan, even though we were approved back in April. It was an incredibly stressful weekend topped off by Ollie. We signed one set of papers yesterday but we were still waiting on another bank to finally say we could have the house. Finally today, the title company has the paperwork for us to sign and we will do so at 3 PM. I don't know if we will still get the keys today or have to wait till tomorrow.

Just a quick note to say Hang in there Denine. We are all thinking about you.

Hang in there Denine. Things will get better! Ollie will be greatly missed, but at least he is with his buddy! When your other cat passed, I was wondering how Ollie was gonna handle it. Cats are like people when they lose someone so close, they sometimes "give up" to be with them. I think your kittys just wanted to be together again. They will always be with you! Just remember the great times.
Take a few deep breathes! Things will all work out. I'm sure you will get your keys tonight or tomorrow. Then we will be reading your posts about having to unpack everything:p ! Once you get things settled in the new home, maybe Kaleigh can get 2 new kittys! (you have to get them in pairs to keep each other company). You know what they say..........NEW HOME........NEW BABY! So either new pets or .... you know:rolleyes: !

Bonnie, how are you feeling? I hope somewhat better!

Susan, WAY TO GO TURNER!!! I knew he would make it! Give him a big hug and kiss from all of us! We are so proud if him!!!

Jeanne, I hope you don't get those storms we had! Some were really nasty! our local high school band director got struck by lightening as she stepped of a bus to go to the other band bus!!! SHe is ok,but what a scare it was! Crazy weather!

With Frances coming, I had heard that the Magic went to Castaway Cay on Sunday this week for the 7 day cruise because of the approaching storm. I sure hope that the storm doesn't hit Castaway Cay too hard. On our first 4 day cruise, we didn't make it there because the dock was destroyed from a hurricane (I can't remember which one) and the island was pretty messed up.

Hey, I actually read and finished an adult book!!!! I just finished The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I really like it. Makes you think. I never have the chance to read an adult book, but since Makenzie has started school, I have gotten the chance to read for awhile at night.

Barb, I need more wedding plans update! I really wished we lived closer so we could be there and not just in spirit!

Hi Heidi! How's work going?

Well, gonna go! I'll check back in later!

I have the perfect diet...take the antibiotic I am taking...I don't know what is worse the coughing and shortness of breath or the nausea!!! I told him I didn't tolerate erythromycin...so what does he give me...a new antibiotic that is similar to it!!! DUH! Wait till I see my doctor on Thursday...hopefully he will change it.

Denine! How nerve wracking with the mortgage! I thought once you were preapproved eveything was ok.

Julie-I take it from your ability to read a book at night that kindergarten is wearing out the princess...I guess she is enjoying herself...hope she isn't giving the teacher a hard time! LOL!

Poor Joyce's house was robbed in broad daylight today. Her husband, Les, wasn't supposed to come home until later but stopped in the house to change & saw that the house was robbed. They stole only what they could carry (concealed) - all Joyce's jewelry, gift cerfificates, etc. Her daughter's wedding presents were there but they didn't take any thing heavy. Joyce is very upset because some of the items were sentimental - her father's ring, her engagement ring, jewelry she bought on the cruise, etc.

SANDY: I will photocopy the diet tomorrow in work & put it in Bonnie's mailbox. I am still hanging in there. My scale doesn't work right so I guess I won't be weighing myself too often. The "Balance" bars I bought are REALLY good so they must be illegal!

TURNER: Congratulations:cheer2:.

JULIE You're reading a book!:scratchin. I heard "The DaVinci Code" was really good but I need to wait for paperback.

HEIDI: I have a Mickey::MickeyMo duvet. It is white with light green mickey's. Treat yourself!

Took my Mom to the Psychiatrist today along with my Aunt (soon I will need him!) & them we all went out to dinner (ate flounder:fish: ). Hope you all have a great week. Back to work for many days in a row. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE:

So sorry to hear about Joyce and her husbands unwelcome guests! Thank goodness that neither one was home and weren't hurt! I hope that someone saw something and that there is a chance to catch these guys who did it. Maybe some of the jewlery will show up in a pawn shop and she can get some of it back! Tell her that we are thinking of her! Pixie Dust her way!

WOW!! I thought for sure that I would have at least one post to read! Oh well, nothing new here.

Jeanne, the book was really good I thought! I've got Dan Brown's other book Angels and Demons now that I want to start reading, but I'm trying to save it for the cruise. I might have to break down and start it though!

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Did anyone watch Father of the Pride tonight? It was funny!

Good morning. I didn't have a chance to login last night. 5th grade homework is starting to pile on. Turner had homework in 6 subjects not to mention his spelling words this week are going to be tough (words with ie or ei). Even so, it wasn't homework hell. Turner is still taking this year more seriously and doing very little complaining about the work.

Then I had to watch Big Brother. Then I had to do some bookkeeping for Paul. I finally made it to bed and fell asleep immediately. I wish I could still be in bed. I am so tired this morning. And, today is weigh in! :worried:

Jeanne - So sorry to hear about Joyce's house being robbed. Please let her know we are thinking about her and her husband.

Bonnie - I hope you begin feeling better soon. Pixie dust your way!!!!

Gotta get ready for work.
Later!

OH my, poor Joyce. What a horrible situation. I rememeber what my sister felt when her car got broken into, but a house, she won't be able to feel safe or comfortable in her house for a while. I wish we could run to every pawn shop near her to find her missing jewellery.

Well tonight I go out with my best friend for the last time before she moves to Florida. I am sure many many tears will flow tonight. I hope we can be strong, but it will be very hard. Wish me luck!!!

I am here. I am feeling much better today. You can either believe me or not, but Ollie jumped in bed with me and laid down after Jerry went to work. Someone jumped in bed yesterday morning but I couldn't tell if it was Shannon or Ollie. This morning it was definitely Ollie. I had never felt like someone jumped in bed with me before and no one was there, until yesterday. I know that Ollie is fine and is with his big sister Shannon.

We got the keys to the house yesterday! :Pinkbounc :bounce: This whole financing thing has been a nightmare. Our loan officer was awful and dropped the ball more than once. If it wasn't for the people at the title company I don't know where we would be.

Tonight we start doing stuff at the new house.

Joyce: I am so sorry about your house! I hope they are able to recover your stuff. I thought about getting a security system for the new house. It is not quite as unassuming as our current home.

Julie: We didn't get the nasty storms you guys got. I saw a lot of lightening in the north east which is where you guys are. We still got a storm, just not as bad. We are planning on getting 1 or 2 kitties when we come back from vacation. I can't live without cats!

Turner: Congrats!

Sandy: I got the diet but I won't get a chance to try it unti after the move. I started my Cortislim today and so far it isn't making me ill. Glad your colonoscopy went fine. The prep is always the worst!

Bonnie: I hope you feel better soon! I hate bronchitis.

Jeanne: Sounds like you guys had a great time shopping over the weekend.

Heidi: Try to enjoy tonight with your friend. Definitely go to a bank and get prequalified for a loan. There are a ton of financing options available today. We like to call it creative financing. That is how we can afford our new home.

I can't think of anything else right now. We will be spending our evenings at the house. They had some minor things to do after our walk through on Monday.

Oh Denine your post made me smile. I am glad you are doing better with the Ollie situation. I totally believe that he jumped on your bed. I am glad you now know he is okay. Thanks for the tip!!!

Hi guys,

Poor Joyce. I feel so sorry for her. My in-laws house was robbed and I remember my MIL carrying her purse loaded with the jewlry that they didn't take after that. Bless her heart. Her purse was bigger than her! Unfortunately, she never felt safe in the house again. Please give Joyce our love.

Heidi, I wish I could be there for you tonight but I know that I would only make it worse. I just feel that she will be back. Give her a hug from me.

Denine, at last the house is yours. Have fun. Take it slow. Don't worry about getting it all done right away. Take time for the family. Your story about Ollie and Shannon made me feel good. I know my dog, Shorty, is waiting for me in heaven.

Thanks Jeanne for giving the diet to Bonnie. I really appreciate it.

I think the colonoscopy messed me up for awhile. I gained .8 and I know I have been good. Lots of fish, right Heidi? Unfortunately this Saturday we have a wedding and on Sunday a 50th anniversary. All eating occasions. I can only do my best.

Susan, they are really overloading Turner. Hope he doesn't get burned out on homework. Poor kid!

Got tons to do to get ready for the busy weekend so will end this.

Have a great night.

Poor Joyce! Nothing worse than getting robbed...people say they feel violated, that their house isn't safe anymore. Too bad they didn't hit my place...nothing worth stealing! But still.

Denine-glad you are getting over Ollie. Just imagine all the fun with the new house...is my room ready yet?

Sue/Turner-I still have trouble with ie vs. ei...thank heavens for MS word and spellcheck! Ryan was always a terrific speller. I used to ask him how to spell things.

Julie-time to read on the cruise? I have trouble fitting in everything I want to do! Wish you were on the 23rd cruise...notice how I got out of the babysitting promise though? Tee Hee

As for me-I feel lousy. Went to work today...everyone tried to get me to go home but one thing after another and I told my boss at 4:20 that I was leaving early...she said leaving early??? I can't wait to see my regular doctor tomorrow. I will not take this antibiotic tomorrow! Makes me so sick...reflux which irritates the bronchus and causing me to wheeze and cough even more! The poor people on the train had to listen to me 1/2 way home...one woman even came up and offered me something...then she realized I already had a Halls in my mouth and water etc...what a sight I was with the red/purple face/tears coming down, probable drool! Such a lovely sight!

BONNIE: Look:magnify: in your mailbox because I put a xerox copy of the diet in it on my way home from work.

DENINE: Sounds like the house is FINALLY yours! I believe that our pets & loved ones visit us after they leave this world especially when they first leave. Ollie:cat: was just saying "Hi".

HEIDI: Hope you have a good cry:sad: with your friend.

SANDY: I am drinking my water:drinking1 & trying really hard. I had an easier time the first two days on the diet. I think I liked that diet BETTER.

Well back to work again tomorrow. We were busy today but they had 15 deliveries last night! Hope you all have a great day. IT'S PAY DAY TOMORROW!!!! YEAH!!!!!! Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Just a quick good morning post. Turner didn't have as much homework last night but he has 3 tests on Friday, including that darned spelling test.

Not much else going on here. Just keepgin an eye out on Francis to see when and where she hits and what her inland track will be. We expect to have some weather impact here but no clue how much yet.

Even though we are about 170 miles inland, we get concerned after Hugo in 1989. That one came up through Charleston and was still a hurricane when it got here and destroyed both of our cars and half of our house. I really feel for all the people in Florida. Paul's sister lives in Melbourne Beach (just south of Port Canaveral) and they are already beginning evacuations. She live just across the street from the ocean so she will probably get a hard hit. I hope Castaway Cay is spared too much damage and you guys still get to go in OCtober. Wonder what the plans are for this weekend. Will the Magic come back in on Saturday and go back out? It sounds like Friday nigth and Saturday mornign are going to be the worst times for that area.

OK, enough of that. I gotta get ready for work.
Later!

Good morning,

Heidi I want you to know that I am thinking of you this morning. Hope you are doing better than last night. Good thing that you didn't sleep here because I wasn't very strong on the phone. Love ya mean it.

Susan, good luck with the storm. Keep us posted, ok?

Jeanne, thanks for delivering the diet to Bonnie. I liked the first diet better, too. Must not be all that good for you if you can only stay on it for two days. I have now switched over to the last diet. After a ten pound loss you go on the gold diet.....smaller portions.

Poor Bonnie, hope you are feeling better.

Gotta run. Time for the kids.

P.S. If I don't get back on, I am headed to the campground tonight until Monday sometime. Bye

Good morning everyone. Today is my Friday and I am so glad for that. I am a little tired of work being so busy right now. I get to kidnap my mom and take her to the campground!!! I am glad to be out of town and busy this weekend so I don't constantly think of my best friend.

My friend and I went to the Cheesecake Factory and had a very good dinner. We tried to go shopping downtown and tried to go to the bars like we always do but it was too hard, we both knew the end results and it is hard to fake being happy when you are so sad. So we agreed to go home early and get the goodbyes's over with. I hugged and kissed her and her son and walked out the door with tears gushing. I think it was one of the hardest things I had to do besides the break up with Bryan. I hope my mom is right and she won't stay, but only time will tell. She was my partner in crime and helped me so much through the breakup with Bryan.

Mom - I am doing better this morning. Of course I cried most of the night but managed to sleep some. Chris was so good to me and he stayed up most of the night with me until I fell asleep and just gave me many hugs and tried so hard to make me laugh.

Don't worry mom, I will try my best to keep you honest this weekend and eat healthy with you.

Bonnie - you have to get to feeling better so that we can party on the cruise!!!!

I hope everybody has a great Labor Day weekend. Be safe.

Hi everyone! Nothing too exciting going on around here. Just got off the phone with my grandmother in Florida. She finished putting her patio furniture away and is taking all her "breakables" off the her shelves and cabinets. She lives in a "manufactored home" (trailer) and ALL mobile home parks are under a manditory evacuation. I wish I was down there to help her. She's in her 80's and this is rough on her. Twice in 2 1/2 weeks she has had to evacuate and it is hard on her. SHe sounded so tired!

It doesn't look good for our Castaway Cay! It is DIRECTLY in the path of Frances! I hope that the island is still standing! Garry thinks that if this storm is as bad as they are saying, we probably won't be seeing CC in Oct! Let's hope that any damage can be repaired quickly.

Disney has also just reported that the Magic and Wonder will sail out of P.C. on Monday for a 5 and 3 day cruise (instead of the 7 and 4 day cruises they were to sail). So those people on the Wonder and Magic now get an extra day! Yeah for them, but who knows what they will face when they arrive!

Bonnie, how are you feeling? Don't worry, I didn't forget about how you ducked out of babysitting!!!! YOU OWE ME!::yes::

Heidi, hang in there! I'm sure things will work out and hopefully she will be back!

Well, gonna go! Will check back in later!
