It's still just me and Sandy.

It is 59 and STILL raining. I told Jerry he should go down and get some firewood so we can watch the SUMMER olympics on tv.

Jerry took Kaleighshopping so I could catch a break. Between the non-stop rain and dark clouds and Kaleigh the crab and packing and moving, I am ready to pull my hair out.

Sandy: My cortislim has been back ordered till next Friday.

Those Mickey's were neat to see. Some are very creative.

OK...I have been in a funk and couldn't figure out why. Poor Glenn has had to put up with it for a while. Could it be that I miss the feeling of wind in my hair while sailing at 25 knots? Could it be that I miss dressing like a princess...or at my age a queen or duchess? Could it be I miss feeling like I am somebody without a care in the world? Maybe I miss being waited on hand and foot...or those little crumb scrapers at dinner. Whatever...I was becoming very depressed with all this cruise talk. The green monster took over. So what did I do about it?

How could I allow them to annouce "Welcome aboard the Disney Dudettes" when one of them was missing? So after much deliberation and checking with Glenn...who doesn't care for heat and swimming... The Dudettes will be together again!!! I will be on the Oct. 23rd cruise with them!!!

:smooth: :boat: :crowded: :goodvibes :rockband:

Hi everyone one! Just checking in! Today I had a doctor's appointment this morning. ( It was to check to see if the abnormal cells are completely gone on my cervix). His nurse noticed that I had lost weight and I was so happy that people that haven't seen me in awhile can notice the change! I was beginning to think that it was all in my head.

We were suppose to get our windshield fixed today. Thursday evening when I was going to pick up Anna Marie a rock flew up and hit our windshielf and scared me to death! I had the three kids with me and if the rock would have hit any higher it would have shattered the window. Anyways, there were coming to the house to fix it. The guy showed up and said it can't be fixed and the entire window will need to be replaced! WONDERFUL! At least we only have to pay a $100 deductable. Now I have to have the car at the shop tomorrow morning at 8:45am to get replaced. The shop is located about 25mins away so I'm not looking forward to that.

Tomorrow we have our first Browns game (pre-season) and I'm sure that it is going to be the same thing as last year, A VERY LONG SEASON!!!!!!!!!! It's the Cleveland way we figure with any sports team!

Denine, We've got the ark already to go! We can sail by and pick you guys up!:boat:

This weather all aover is crazy this year! I have a feeling that this winter is gonna be a whopper!

Oh Yeah.................... Makenzie got put into the school I wanted her in!!!!!!!!!! She was suppose to go to the district's "not so well off" school because of where the district "draws their school zones" and we wanted her to go to a school that is less then 5 mins away. (her original school she would be bus only 1 way!) So we asked for an adjustment transfer to Parma Park instead of Hanna. Well, the originally denied it because our levy didn't pass and they don't usually accept kindergarten transfers. BUT thanks to my moter (who is a teacher in the district) and some "higher ups" she knows, Makenzie got placed in Parma Park!! YEAH!!!!! And the best part is she wil be in the morning class (my nephew who also goes to the same school will be in the afternoon class). This is the school which is across the street from the Big Guy's preschool!!!!!!!! So for two mornings a week, I will only have Brooke! I'm so excited!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Nothing else really to add. OH, just to let my "family" know, I do have another Dr.'s appointment next fri with a general surgeon. I have found a lump under my right arm that they need to look at. I know it's nothing, but better be safe then sorry. My obgyn referred me this surgeon.

Denine, I THINK that I will be able to help you during your moving weekend. Garry is working that entire weekend and if I can find someone to watch the kids, I can help for awhile. As it gets closer I will let you know for sure.

Congrats Bonnie! I knew you would be saiking again! Too bad you can't sail two weeks in a row. Hopefully we can meet each other in the parking lot before your cruise! At least we can SEE each other between cruises if we can't SEA either other! LOL!!!

Well, gonna go! Have a great weekend!!

Well did you all read Bonnie's posting? The Disney Dudettes:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: will be reunited again on the 10/23/04 Disney Cruise:boat:.

BONNIE: I sent Faith an e-mail but boy was my computer :badpc: misbehaving. Every time I tried to get on "Hotmail" it sent me to some "Spyware" advertisement. It was very frustrating.

BARB: Just went for my passport Wednesday. It was $95.00 including $10.00 for the passport picture. They said I should have the passport by 9/25/04.

Supposed to work for "WEEKEND INCENTIVE" tomorrow. I won't tell Bonnie what that is because she will be very jealous::yes::. Hope you all have a fun-filled weekend. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: JEANNE

LONELY AND DEPRESSED!

Paul is out of town tonight but will be back tomorrow afternoon or evening. Turner and I went to Appleby's for dinner. They have 10 menu items that are weight watchers certified. Since I didn;t get lucnh today, I had soup and an entree. I was going to get dessert but I was too full.

After dinner, Turner and I went to the Pottery place to paint pottery. We had a lot of fun. After that, we did 30 minutes with a paddle boat since the eveing brought much cooler temps. It has been in the upper 80s all week here. I here it is supposed to be about 10 degrees cooler here this weekend. Sorry you guys are having cooler summers.

Turner survived the first week of school and has been an angel! I haven't had to argue with him one time about homework!

I hated to see Will go last night in Big Brother. I walked in from parent meeting at school to see him walking to the door. So, I don't really know what all went on before that. With Nokomis winning HoH, I think the twins have a huge target on them. I'm betting one of them ghoes next week, unless they pull another unexpected twist.

Enough from me for one night. I'll be back on tomorrow.

Love you guys!

Later!

HI Susan and Jeanne! Glad to see more people posting!

Jeanne, since I won't be sailing with you guys, can I be an Honorary Dudette for the Oct 16th cruise? Boy I really do wish we switched weeks back when we could have! It won't be a cruise without all of you!   I know tha t Barb, Patty, Sally, Denine, and I will try to do our best to keep our "family's" memory strong! Plus, we can warn ALL CAST MEMBERS ABOUT ALL OF YOU !!!!So they can be prepared!!! Hopefully before we sail we can get some of your info and maybe try to get the same servers for the two weeks!!! That could be really fun!!!!! We can leave you special messages with them for you guys!!!!

Brooke update..... Brooke is now standing on her own for a very long time now. She is walking along the furnature, and saying mama and dada! She is 7 mos. going on 17mos. She loves listening to music and specially disney music!!!!

Well, gonna go! Have a great weekend!

I also wish we were all on the same cruise again! Wish I could see everyone again while strolling the decks.

The Dusettes will be shopping for our very expensive gowns next weekend...last cruise they cost $25!
Even if I could fit into the gowns from last time Jeanne brought up a very good point...if we were to where the same as last time we wouldn't be able to tell which cruise the pictures were from!

Of course now it is back on the diet and Pilates!

I emailed one of the cruise sights to Pam...now she wants to go!!! Of course she would spend all of her time and money in the Spa.
Speaking of Pam, I am going with her to CT today. She is taking her mom back home and bribed me to go along with the mention of "real" fried clams. You all have not had fried clams until you have had them in New England...complete with bellys!!! MMMMMM! But I will also drive the Subaru back so I will have wheels again!

JULIE: Don't worry - you guys will have a great time but it could be fun if you send messages to us via the servers. Can't wait until the cruise:boat:. Hurray:cheer2: the cruise is paid. P.S. You can be Disney Dudette #4 on your cruise.

TURNER: Keep up the good job with your homework. It is so weird. The kids around here don't go back until after Labor Day.

As you can guess, I didn't get to work for "Weekend Incentive". I am very disappointed:sad: planning on using all that extra money on my expensive ($25.00) gown.

Have a great weekend. Toodles

:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Hi everyone. Just stopping in to say hi! We went to the Browns game today and they actually won today. It was against Detroit. We have given up on the Indians this year because we have an owner who doesn't want to spend money to get excellent players. We do have some good young players, but we can't seem to do anything but have our pitchers blow games!

As it gets closer to cruise time, we will have to make arrangements to meet before your cruise! You all have to meet Brooke!

Well, gonna go. Will check back later!

Good Morning, everyone. Spent most of yesterday cleaning and then Turner had a friend come over and we went out for dinner. Paul got home around 4:00 and I wasn't in the mood to cook.

Today, I am going to help my friend, Bernadine, finish painting her nursery. She has about 6 weeks to go and she want to get that out of the way.

Otherwise nothing new here.

Later!

It's nice to see a chatty bunch here this weekend.

We went up to the house last night but it was locked becasue they were installing carpet. It is finally getting closer.

Today was actually a nice day :sunny: We all needed it. We went to a starving artist show and bought a painting for above the sofa. We got it framed and everything. It will look nice.

Bonnie: So happy you are joining the Dudettes on the cruise! Everyone needs to be doted on now and then! princess:

Julie: That would be great if you could help us move. If it turns out you can't then that is fine. I am so glad you got Makenzie into the school you wanted. I know how much you wanted her there. Good luck with your lump. It probably nothing.

Sue: Have fun painting! I hope Turner keep up the good work!

Jeanne; Don't you love those dress bargains? Too bad you didn't get to work for the big bucks this weekend.

Tomorrow is Monday again! Where do the weekends go?

Back from COnnecticut and there is a car parked out there!

Had my Fried Clams....I won't say how many but I was so busy scoffing them down that I did realize I swallowed the temp. cap!! I can't win...have to go to work with a whole in my mouth tomorrow!!! Jeeze! Just pull them all and give me choppers!!!!!!!!!!!!:teeth:

Am I the only one who has no life? Where are you? Is anybody out there? I hope you all had a fun-filled weekend. I went shopping and bought a few things for the upcoming cruise:boat: but saving "formal" shopping for this weekend. Strawbridges had a sale I couldn't resist 75% off & then another 20% coupon & then if you spent $25.00 they took $10.00 off, so they practically gave you the clothes!

I have a few things to do today including taking my Aunt to the Dr.'s late this afternoon. Back to work tomorrow for the three in a row.

Have a great day. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

What fun to come back to a bunch of chatty people.

Susan, gosh I really, really worked on Paul so that you could book our cruise but he was not going to budge an inch. Probably because you just got off the cruise at that point. You will be missed more than you know.

Julie, let us know about the lump. Doesn't hurt to have anything checked out that is in question. I have to have a yucky colonoscopy next Monday strictly because of being 50.

Jeanne, never heard of a Strawbridges but their sales sound wonderful. I don't think that I will shop for formal attire. I will save that for the Panama Canal when I will be down to a size 10. (hopefully) I think that I will wear the dress that I wore to Staceys wedding jwhich is cocktail length. Are you, Joyce and Bonnie wearing long dresses for both formal and semi-formal? Did you ever get that email to Faith? I will try for you just in case.

And Bonnie.........:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: so, so so, so happy that you can join us. I am confused. Is the Subaru your old car or a new one or Pam's?

Too much to do teday. Will write Faith now.

I finally have a few minutes to myself. Kaleigh is switching from a morning only nap to an afternoon only nap. It makes my day weird. So, I just put her down and she is quiet.

We have our walkthrough 1 week from today!!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sandy: Can I be a size 10 too??????

We are actually supposed to have summer weather this week. I am not ready for Fall.

Bonnie: What are we going to do about that mouth of yours?????????? Sounds like thr fried clams were good.

Jeanne: Sounds like you got some great bargains!

I just read the saddest thing. People we are cruising with through the PC just lost their daughter and grand-daughter in a house fire over the weekend. Their other grand-daughter is in critical condition. Their son-in-law is OK. What a horrible tragedy.
:sad1:

SANDY: I don't know what we're wearing for formal or semi-formal nights but WILL know after our shopping trip next weekend. I would like to wear a long gown for formal night (how often to you get to do that!) & I do have a few things in my closet I could wear for semi-formal night - like palazzo pants, short black dress, etc. I WANT TO BE A SIZE 10 TOO!

My computer :badpc: has been acting up lately - doing very bizarre things. My old roommate (who is a computer whiz) came over & helped me fix it. She also gave me a "cheat sheet" if it ever acts up again.

DENINE: How excited are you? A cruise & a new house!

Have a great day. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE P.S. Sandy if you talk to Faith ask her if she got my e-mail about Bonnie.

Wow, Denine. I better get over to the Panama Canal cruise. What a horrible tragedy!

Jeanne, Faith and I have communicated via email and she did in fact get yours. She called me too but I wasn't home. I plan to call her back after I get off the computer.

We all can be a size 10 just not before THIS cruise. I can send you guys the diet if you would like. I have lost something close to 8 lbs now. :teeth:
