Hi All!

Sandy, Oh wait I forgot....... SANDY, I TRIED ONE OF THOSE SALADS FROM ARBY'S AND YOU WERE RIGHT! THEY ARE VERY GOOD! (sorry, I'll slow down for you)

I

TRIED

THE

MARTHA'S

VINEYARD

SALAD

TODAY

AND

IT

WAS

EXCELLENT!

THANK

YOU

FOR

SUGGESTING

IT!

(ok, I'm done. I have to have some kind of fun! you are a good trooper Sandy for putting up with me! My ears are alittle blocked today too from a sinus infection. I know how it is.:teeth: )

Ok, gotta go. Brooke is asking for me. I've got stories to tell you about her, but they will have to wait until I have more time to type. Have a super day!

If I don't get a chance to say it, Bonnie have a GREAT time at Glenn's. IF you get a chance, stop in on the thread when you are at Glenn's. We know that he reads us!

Heeheeheehee Julie you are so cute!

Don't you think she is funny Sandy?

Barb

Julie, :charac2: you got what you deserved. Maybe that will :teacher: teach you not to tease me! At least now you can sympathize with me. ::yes:: We would all love to hear about Brooke but if you tell the stories about her like you did the Arby's salad it would take you forever!:teeth:

Denine, can't wait to hear how the showing went. EWWWWWW, your toe sounds so gross. I have to figure out lodging for CA myself. I figure I will finalize that next year. I probably will wait until the first transition cruise comes back and reports in. More than likely we will fly the day before and just find something near the port. It will be strange this time because before we pretty much had a routine down and knew everything. We still need to find a place for Ted to buy a case of Pepsi by the port. Therefore we will probably rent a car if it is as easy as Port Canaveral or have a towncar service.

When is the USAFA graduation, Barb?

I am a little bummed right now. My SIL wants me to "babysit" her two tomorrow at the campground. Heidi and I were looking forward to some "me" time. I just don't know how to handle the situation. :confused3 Anyway, we are out of here tonight until Monday. Have a great (and Safe) weekend everyone.

My gosh Barb. I can't believe how many posts you had today on the other thread. I won't tell your boss that you are slacking! :teeth:

Actually, Julie's post have been really funny. I have enjoyed them!

I am multi tasked not a slacker

Have fun camping Sandy! Boy when you get back you will have
about 50 pages on the other board to catch up on!

Barb:earsboy:

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Too much going on with the last 2 weeks of school and Turner's birthday. We went to dinner for his birthday and had a nice evening just the 3 of us. He is having a party on June 5th. Too difficult to plan a big party last weekend and this weekend with the big NASCAR races in town. Traffic dominates everything and no one would want to try to get to a party.

Today, turner had a field trip to Junior Achievement's Exchange City. At JA-Exchange City, students learn by experiencing actual roles and tasks in running businesses and providing public services. In the past few weeks they have prepared resumes, interviewed for jobs and met with the rest of the work team for the store the would be "employed" at. Turner was a Sales Associate at the Sports Store. I took the day off and vounteered to help and I was assigned to help in the Sign Shop. Here is a link to the site if anyone is interested in what this is all about.
Junior Achievement Exchange City

After school, Turner had a pizza celebration for Academic Games at Laser Quest. They had a lot of fun. This is the same place Turner is having his birthday party on the 5th.

Tomorrow, my nephew graduates from high school at 3:00 in teh afternoon so I only work half a day and then off to the big event. He is leaving next week to go to Germany for 3 weeks with my mom and step-father. They live in Germany part of the year and here in North Carolina the other part. He has wanted to go for a long time and this is one of his graduation presents.

Enough about me.

Bonnie - have a great time in Chicago. Tell Glenn hello.

Sandy - have a great weekend camping.

Heidi (and Stacey) - Have a Happy Birthday!!

Barb - you are definitely not a slacker but a multi tasker. I can't believe all the plans you have made for your trips. I'll have to remember to ask for your help when I plan my next trip.

Julie - We need to the Brooke stories!!! NOW Hoep you could hear that!!!lol

Denine - hope the showing went well and you get an offer soon!!

Gotta run. Still so much to do around here.

Love you guys.
Later!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNER:cake: :bday:

BONNIE: Have a great time in the windy city!

DENINE: Good luck with your showing. You must be so excited with the new house.

SANDY: You are one crazy girl:earboy2:

Everyone in South Jersey has been having babies at Virtual in Voorhees. We have been very busy but I had I really nice group of patients. Talked to Bobby today but he is pretty indecisive as to what he wants to do this weekend so I think I am going to make plans to go down the shore & visit an old girlfriend. Hope you all have a terrific holiday weekend. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Hi All! I'm back and let's see.....some Brooke stories. Ok, this month was her 4 month check up and she is 25 1/4 in long and weights 13 lbs. She is in the 50 percentile for weight and 99 percentile for height. She rolls over :rotfl: BOTH ways and wants to sit up and not lay back. She is extrememly strong. when she is in the stroller or bouncy seat, she pulls herself up so she is sitting straight up. She can stay seat up for about 5 to 10 sec. without anyone supporting her. When she wants something she DEMANDS it. She loves to hear her voice:hyper2: ! Daddy is the greatest:hug: ! She smiles at everyone!:teeth: She is a very good baby. She is eating cereal, fruit and some veggies. When she is done eating she lets out a little cry. If you don't stop then, she spits it back out at you:duck: !

Her new trick:wizard: (which I got on video since I didn't think that people would beleive me) is when I strap her into the bouncy seat, she can wiggle her way out! She uses her feet to push herself up high enough on the chair to lift each foot out of the straps. Then she slides down and rolls herself off the chair onto the floor! (it's only about 4 inches to the floor and I or Garry have been there each time she has done this so we catch her before she hits the floor.) She is quite the escape artist! We are going to have to keep our eyes on this one!

She can scoot across the room in seconds! She lays on her back and uses her feet and pushes off the floor and travels ALL OVER the room! She sleeps on her back, side and stomach, which ever SHE FEELS like sleeping on. She is a thumb sucker, but only when she goes to bed and until she falls asleep.

Well, enough about the "Brooke-ster" or Peanut (that's what I call her). Makenzie and Garry really like having Brooke around and there hasn't been any sibble disbutes. They all look out for each other.

Well gonna go. I hope you all have a great weekend! We are doing nothing this weekend. Garry works the entire weekend then starts jury duty! Boy another fun week for him!

Bonnie, tell Glenn we all said hi and have a great trip!

Sandy, go camping and have fun! I'll be thinking of you!

Susan, great hearing from you. Boy those pictures look super! We don't have anything up here like that, I wish we did!

Barb, I hope you will help keep the thread alive this weekend with me.

Jeanne, I'm sure you will have fun in anything you do. I hope you got my private message. It's the water I think!

Heidi, I forgot to congratulate you on your job promotion and pay increase. We all knew you would do a fantasic job! Keep it up and you can pay for all of us on our next reunion trip:earseek: ! Just kidding.... you can just pay for me:hyper:

Denine, how did the house showing go?

Ok, I'm gonna go now, will check back in later!

Off to CHicago...won't come home from work. Pam is leaving for Denver Sandy...I am giving her your cell phone number to say Hi since you are going camping. She will be staying in Denver with her sister (rather than going to Co. Springs to the house).

Congratulations Heidi!!! You go girl!!

Happy Belated Birthday Turner!

Julie...Did you think Brooke would be any different than the other 2? She has to keep up with them!! I'll bet one of them taught her how to escape!

WIll post when I get back...Glenn won't let me use his computer.

Have a good weekend all...stay safe.

Good Morning!!

I am working till noon then off to spend the weekend with Patty.

Susan-Turner sure keeps you busy, good thing he was not twins!

Bonnie-Have fun with Glenn!

Julie- Brooke sounds adorable can't wait to see her! You are going to be on the Oct 16 cruise, right?

Jeanne-Have fun on the shore! That's were I would be if I lived near one!

Denine-How did the showing go??

Barb:tongue:

I had to work today, 8 hours. It was awful trying to do both sides. I ran non-stop for 4 hours. The afternoon was calmer. I am exhausted. Kaleigh and Jerry came to have lunch with me. My co-workers were excited to see her. I aven't taken her up to work in a long time. I just didn't feel like a nurse today.

The showing yesterday afternoon didn't turn into anything. However, we ended up with another in the evening which looks quite promising. Keep your fingers crossed.

Julie: Brooke is amazing for her age! Of course, she would be!

Yep, my nail is infected. But, it is not gross. It is just discolored in one part. I caught it early. But, I have to take a pill for 3 months to get rid of it!

Bonnie: Enjoy your weekend!

Barb: Have fun at Patty's!

Heidi & Stacey: Happy Birthday, 1 day early!!!!!!!

Sandy: Enjoy the campground!

Everyone: Enjoy your holiday weekend!

I guess I am here by myself this weekend. Jerry is cutting the grass and I vacuumed. You never know when someone is going to want to see the house.
We will be gone most of the day tomorrow at our dismeet picnic. A picnic just for people like us!

I slept well and feel much better today. I would still like to tell the powers that be what a terrible decision they made to cut back to 1 nurse! I had to prepare and give meds to probably 40 people. Thankfully there were no emergencies, because I was IT yesterday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HEIDI AND STACEY!!!! :cake:

Hope you made a special :wizard: !:bday: Hope your day was as special as you both are!

Hey Susan, the email that you sent me said there was a virus attached to it, so I didn't get it. Just wanted you to know. Maybe you could re-send it?

Julie - I didn't send you anything so someone must have a virus that is using their address book to send it on. Not me - we are virus free!

Everyone beware!

:cake: :bday: Happy birthday Heidi & Stacey!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing going on. Just popping in to say Hi!

Hi ALL! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Susan, that's for the info! I've been getting a lot of virus notifications lately. Someone out there want's me to have a virus.

Denine, just curious, did you say that Jerry works downtown? Where at? Because, Garry starts jury duty on Tuesday and maybe the guys could hook up for lunch. Just an idea.

Went and got the kids pictures taken today, so I will send you all a picture of Brooke. I got a group shot of the 4 kids and then Brooke by herself. I think they came out pretty good.

nothing else new going on here. Will check back in later! Have a great holiday weekend everyone!

Julie: Jerry works at the old May Company building. It is easy walking distance to the Justice Center. It is a possibility.

Had a really nice time at the dismeet picnic yesterday. Met several people I only knew as screen names. We got there around noon and didn't get home until after 7 PM. John (towncrier) even made us guavaberry colada's. We had one in St. Maartin.

Hoping to cook out today if it doesn't rain.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :cake: :cake: :bday: :bday: Heidi & Stacey!

I had a really great Sunday down the shore. My girlfriend Pat & I used to live together & work as waitresses down the shore when we were 21 & we stayed in her parent's shore house in Cape May so yesterday was like "old times". We went to the Lobster House & ate outside with the yachts, walked all around Cape May & then ended up at a Club by her house. What a great weekend! I had to come home & start wash for the vacation next Sunday. I only have off Wednesday & have to take my Aunt to the hospital for a treatment.

BONNIE: What's with Glenn not letting you use his computer? I would be very curious:scratchin :confused3. Nurse's Night with the Riversharks on June 17th. I am working but am trying to get someone to come in early so I can go - are you interested? Think Panzarotti's!

Rain, rain, go away :umbrella: Hope you all have a terrific Memorial Day. I read somewhere that at 3:00 PM we are supposed to have a moment of silence to remember all our war heroes. Toodles :wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

We are back from an extremely cold and windy weekend. Didn't let it spoil anything tho. Heidi and Stacey were able to celebrate their birthdays without rain. (just with coats) Heidi's dbf drove up and we celebrated his twins birthdays as well. Thanks for the birthday wishes! I will let Heidi tell you all about her weekend.

Wow, I wanted to respond to so much. Let's see how much I remember:

Barb, I am afraid to even go on the other thread. It is almost too much to handle. There are always 50 pages per DAY!;) No, you're not a slacker!

Bonnie, it is Monday and I never heard from Pam. I had the cell phone on all the time. It never said that I missed a call. Too bad. Would have been fun to talk to Pam!

Jeanne, got your email. I will relay the message to Faith. Cross your fingers that she has some pull! Lobster house? Oh yum!

Julie, wow, Brooke is doing so good. It was fun reading all about her. I am in shock that she can wiggle out of her seat. Unheard of! Didn't Garry just get off Jury Duty a year or two ago?

Denine, glad you caught that nail infection. I am surprised that it takes 3 months worth of pills! Yum, guavaberry coladas sounds so yummy. Your dismeet sounds like fun. I have talk to a few from around here. Guess we should do something like that. I posted on the community board about someone stealing my Captain Mickey antenna topper and got a lot of responses from people from around the Denver area. It was kind of funny.

Susan, welcome back. ;) Maybe things will slow down for you now that Turner is out of school. Just think, no homework for awhile. Yahoo!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Gotta go cut Ted's hair. Talk to you all tomorrow. Hope you had a wonderful Memorial weekend.

Love,
Sandy
