Good afternoon!

This has been such a busy week. I finally have a few minutes
to post.

Denine-Welcome home.

Sandy what are you doing in such a hurry?

Barb:smooth:

Well, I am home. Just had to do some errands, Barb. My wrist is acting up and I honestly think it is carpal tunnel so I bought a wrist brace and a mouse pad with a gel rest. So.....I am blaming all of you guys for it. I always noticed it typing and yesterday it hurt all day. Just trying to avoid a dr. visit.

Denine, welcome home. I, too, like that part of the ship. It will be my first time waaaaay on the other side. So we will see how it goes for 14 days!

Bonnie, we want pictures!!!!

Susan, cute story about the kids and you. Of course, you are fun and the teacher, well .....

Pixie dust to the Flyers.

Bonnie, WE LOVED THE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!! I really like the Easter Bonnet idea! Glenn, you are such a good sport to put up with all those women!!!

Good morning, running a little late. Got home very late last night and had to get up early today but....HEIDI BOUGHT HER NEW CAR. ! :Pinkbounc :bounce: She bought a brand new 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. It is gorgeous. I am so happy for her!!

Hey Julie, 11,000 a little steep for you?? OUCH! You will be missed but can we ever understand that figure!

Bonnie, I haven't had time to look at the pics but I promise I will today. Can't wait.

I still have to catch up on the boards, I have a few more pages to read.

We worked like dogs yesterday cleaning and trying to get everything ready for the ouse to go on the market today. Our agent will be by later to put the sign in the yard.

Here is a little trip report:
Coronado Springs: First time staying at a non-DVC resort. We got a room inthe ranchos section which is supposed to represent Texas. Interesting landscaping with a lot of rocks and cacti, just not for me. I need grass and green things. The room was a typical hotel room. We ARE SPOILED!!! ::yes:: We are used to having a least a small fridge, micro and queen size bed. This room had none of it. We had Kaleigh's milk and juice and our pop and juice in a styrofoam cooler. The resort itself was very nice, but the pool; was FREEZING :earseek: We did not like the foodcourt area. It was expensive and you had to tip the servers that brought your drinks. Everything else was self serve. We did enjoy Francisco's, a little lounge area that sereved all kings of margaritas and complimentary warm chips and salsa. All was yummy!
We just enjoyed the resort for 2 days and didn't go to a park until we checked into OKW on Mother's Day.

OKW: Finally feeling like we are home in Disney. We splurged for a 1 bedroom this time. It was sooo nice having the washer and dryer in the room along with a full kitchen which we actually took advantage of this time.

Kaleigh learend a few new words while we were gone. She started saying mouse the day we got there. I think she was holding out on us! She also says Disney now. We went swimming almost every day. The weather was in the mid to upper 80's every day. We only had rain once and we were sitting on our patio at the time. It sprinkled another time.
We spent the majority of our time at Epcot for the flower festival. I actuall got to attend a few talks. We saw P. Allen Smith from the weather channel for one of them.
We had a few rough days with Kaleigh, but for the most part she was very good. She is trying to catch up on her sleep now.

For resort guests, they now have extra magic hours at the end of the day. Those are nice. You get to stay for 3 hours after the park closes. There is a different park open each day. Each one is open once in the morning and once at night during the week.

We made it to only one concert this trip. We saw the Turtles. We got to sit down in front being DVC members.

Now I have to go back and read some more.

I am caught up with the posts.

Bonnie: If you can't call you son, write him a letter and tell him exactly how you feel. Loved the Easter bonnet pictures.

Barb: Glad to hear you are joining us on the 14 day cruise. I just have to get over and check out that cruise thread.

Sue: SOunds like you had fun taching.

Julie: The parade and evening out at the State sounded really nice. You have to scan the pictures so we can see them.

Jeanne: Hope everything works out with you and Bobby.

Sandy: How horrible for Kristy, I can't even imagine.

Heidi: Congrats on the new car!

It seems like there is so much I want to tell you all, but I can't remember it right now.

Hi Denine, it was fun reading your trip report. "mouse" and "disney", so cute! Your washer and dryer had to come in handy with a little one! That is totally absurd that you have to tip the person that gives you the drink in the food crt. I'm like you, I like greenery. A lot of people love AZ but there just isn't enough color for me. The extra hours at the end of the day is nice. It has cooled off and you can really enjoy the park. We like some rides more at night so that would be fun. We really liked e-nights. I probably am showing my age but was the Turtles the same group from the 60's? I used to like them. I love your advice to Bonnie. Great way to open up communication!

Graci and I have to run to the park soon. Noah is having a teddy bear picnic at the park organized by school. We will meet him and his mother.

 Sandy

Sandy: Yes, the Turtles was the same group from the 60's. All the performers are from the 60's. It is the Flower Power concert series.

The house is officially on the market. When it hits the MLS, you can all look it up on Realtor.com. There will be an ad in Sunday's paper and we now have a sign.

Denine, you have really made progress. Good luck selling!!

Bonnie, I just had time to download the pictures. I loved them. Glenn, you were quite "stylin" in yours!! ;)

I am so excited for THE FLYERS:jumping4: I think the "pixie dust" worked!

DENINE: We stayed at Coronado Springs before & it is the only resort I wouldn't stay at again. I felt the same way you did - they charge a "gratuity fee" in the food court. If you buy a mug at $8.00 they put a gratuity charge on that! Glad you are home saft & sound. Good luck with selling the house.

SANDY: I am having a hard time keeping up with the boards!

Going out to lunch with my cousin who is visiting from Stony Point, NC. It is supposed to be a really HOT:sunny: weekend! Have a great day & weekend (if I don't get back). Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Good Morning!

I loved the Turtles.

Happy together...lalalalalala sing with me here!
They were a little before my time but I had 2 older sisters.

Bonnie-Cute pictures! I agree about telling your son how you feel. At least it could open the doors for communication.

Speaking on Sons Jason is in town for the weekend. One of his friends mother passed away a few days ago.

Bob will be home from Las Vegas tomorrow. Back to reality for him.

I am surprised to hear about Coronado Springs. It never has appealed to me much because I am a more tropical type of person and now I know I will never stay there.

Got our reservations all set for the 14 day cruise. Jaymee and Tiffany will be in the same room as us. It will be crowded but we will be on a Disney Cruise!:Pinkbounc

Barb:wave2:

MOM - SHARE THE WEALTH. Now with your comment about the TF should spread out their tags, I think you need to take off 2 tags. Now I am jealous. I only have one, but you have 3? You must have got tagged last night because it seems like you haven't even noticed them or I am sure you would have called me. You better thank the TF. I actually noticed your tag on another thread talking about the DIS and your comment about the TF makes people feel left out when they tag other people numerous times, now what do you think now that you have multiples? Congratulations.

Hello everyone. I am back into action. I was in training and thankfully back to work today.

Welcome back Denine. Haven't had time to read the board, just noticed you were back.

I bought a new car. Very scary, nerve wracking decision, but I finally made it and I love my new car. I was struggling with if I should get a new car even though my old car was running just fine or if I should get a house. I only have very limited credit so I think this was the best way to go to build up my credit. I still think it will be possible to invest in a house within a year, just have to get my savings back up for a down payment. I bought a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder and it has a sunroof (my fav option) and a bunch of other bells and whistles. Still hoping I did the right thing and still losing sleep over it, but I think it was the right decision...I hope my parents think so too.

Jeanne - I was scared for a little bit for your Flyers, but they made up for it and are still in the game. GO FLYERS!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

WHAT IS THE TAG FAIRY?? I can't stand it anymore!!

I have no idea what you are talking about but it sounds like a good thing.

Congrats Heidi on the new car. Come down to Colorado Springs!

Barb

I just got my new bookshelves delivered. Yippeee!!!!!!

Now, I need to update my counters in my sig.

I got tagged once, but I didn't like the tag, so I deleted them.

Got awakened by a Tstorm early this morning. Supposed to get more this afternoon. Supposed to be 87 tomorrow, and we have a wedding to go to. My parents are going to babysit Kaleigh in the evening. We are taking Kaleigh to the ceremony.

Nothing else going on.

Welcome Back Denine! Sorry I haven't got a chance to welcome you home. My parents are going to watch my three tomorrow night too IF we go to our friends retirement party.

We have had a week from HE**!!! First, Sunday Garry got in a wrestling match witha prisoner and got his hand cut up. Monday was my mother's birthday and everyone's schedule got screwed up because we had a mini party for her with my aunts and uncles (who were not invited ....LONG STORY) so Garry was almost late for work and his dinner was eaten on the go. Tuesday Garry started to complain about one of his teeth hurting and he decided that it was time to go to the Dentist even though he is like me and HATES going to the dentist. He was feeling sick (cold and flu like) so we decided to call the dentist when he was feeling better. Wednesday, he woke up with his jaw slightly swollen and we decided that it must be the tooth and that it should come out. So I called around to some oral surgeons to schedule him and we got one set for Friday. I then called our family dentist to make an appointment to have the xrays taken so friday we could just go and get this tooth taken care of. We got an appointment for Thursday in the morning for that. Thursday came and Garry's side of his face was so swollen! He looked like the elephant man. Our family dentist looked at him and told him that his neck was starting to swell. He said that if we waited over the weekend, that Garry would be in the emergency room because his air way would be cut off. We told him that he had an appointment for Friday morning with the oral surgeon. Our dentist called the oral surgeon to see what kind of antiboitics Garry should take and he came back and told us we would go NOW to the surgeon and he was going to take the tooth because this infection was getting worse by the hour. So Garry had a tooth removed yesterday. His face was so swollen words can't describe how he looked. We just got back now from his follow up and the surgeon said that it was looking much better and the swelling had gone down a lot. His face is still swollen, but not as bad. So that was my week! ( Luckily one of Makenzie's friends from school mom watch my three yesterday so we could get this all done). Who knows if he will be in the mood to go to a party tomorrow night. We shall see. Oh, and I forgot, our toilet broke saturday night (the plingie thing in the tank wasn't filling up right so when you flushed the toilet, it would take about 30 mins for the tank to fill back up) and we didn't get the plumber to come out until yesterday. He was busy up until then and that it wasn't a real emergency. CALGON take me away!

I did manage last night to make the Chedder Cheese soup (from Canada at EPCOT) so Garry could eat something. Also got two out of the three kids bathed last night too. Not bad for what went on yesterday!

Well gotta run, will check in later!

Denine, we are going to have to get together soon! You guys were missed at the birthday party! By the way, Anna Marie isn't coming over this weekend, I'm SOO sorry I forgot to tell you that before you went on vacation. I totally forgot. Please keep her in mind for the future.

Julie - cheddar cheese soup...that sounds so good. Do you mind posting the recipe so I can make it and try it? Whats all in it, is it as good as broccoli and cheddar soup? Now I have a craving for soup, I guess I better go to Panera and get some.

Julie: OH MY!! What a week you guys have had. I hope Garry feels better soon. I had my parents lined up to babysit Kaleigh tomorrow in case Anna Marie couldn't do it, but then it got to be yesterday and I hadn't talked to you so I decided to go ahead and have my parents sit. Good thing! WHen are you getting your driveway done? I don't think we have anything planed for next weekend.

How do you all like my new countdowns?

I got my new bookshelves filled with books and stuff. They look so nice in our bedroom.

I love the Canada Cheddar cheese soup. I also have the recipe.

Hello!!

What is the Tag Fairy!! Heidi girlfriend I know you know!!
What is it??

The cheese soup sounds good! Please share!

Julie- Tell Garry I hope he gets to feeling better soon!
Wow crazy week. You are still sane that is impressive!

Barb

Okay Barb, I was going to respond to you, but I forgot. You see where you have DISNEY FAN underneath your name and how it is in black and you can't change the color? Now if you look in the same place under mine and my mom's name you will see that we have stuff written in color. Only the Tag Fairy can write there in color. The tag fairy reads the threads and if you say something he/she likes they will "tag you" and paraphrase you in color and add it to that spot. No one knows who the tag fairy is, but only the tag fairy has the access to do this. Hope that helps.
