Here I thought I had a new best friend I didn't even know..lol

The spa day was great....and to think I wasn't sure I wanted to go. I told Barb I thought they should give me a facial day for the holiday of the month like 4th of July, ground hog day, school gets out, school starts. I am sure I could come up with one every month but I don't think I convienced her...lol

Barb took me to lunch and then we went to the mall. In the evening my granddaughter took me to dinner and a movie. Life is good...I have great kids!

Going to Curves this morning...I had lost 5 lbs last week but I think the weekend took care of that....

Sandy, next time you talk to Faith, tell her that we are thinking about her and hopes she posts soon! She's one of us now!

Took work home tonight...thought I could go over it on the train but alas not. I need a cruise!!!!

Arms are lobster red but don't hurt much so that is good.

Sandy-Easter went very well...it was a blur. GLenn kept all the old ladies entertained while I cooked. I made Easter baskets for all and Glenn and I dyed eggs with their names on them the night before. And of course I made them all wear "Easter Bonnets"! It was a hoot. My 82 yr old wouldn't let go of her Easter basket and wore my pink hat all day. It worked out well with Glenn having to leave...that way they didn't hang around half the night!
Pam and I went to the local golf club after dropping Glenn and the airport and I had a well deserved Cosmo.

Thanks Julie. I will tell Faith. Bless her heart. She is going through so much with Kristy. Since finding out about losing her eyesight, Kristy has horrible nightmares and screams out in the night. She has to sleep with the lights on and TV going. WDW was good therapy but she had to go back to reality. Pixie dust to Kristy!!

Bonnie, your Easter did sound like a HOOT. Wish I was a little mouse and could have watched it all. I love all your ideas! I might have to steal some for next year!! Hey, if you need a cruise, how about this Oct or the 14 day cruise???? Just think how much fun we could have! And.....if you choose the 14 day cruise, you have LOTS of time to save!! ::yes::

Sally, you are my new best friend. Not Heidi's. Sorry. I didn't even realize that I was under Heidi. She always changes it so I don't even pay attention.

Barb, Ted and I shared a room with Heidi and her boyfriend and it went just fine. The bathroom situation was great with the split bathrooms. What catagory did you choose?? We did it in a 10 (well actually a 9 because it was a SPR) You only sleep and change clothes in there anyway. Save your money for excursions etc. Heck, I probably won't do any excursions. All my money will be towards the cruise.

Good morning.

Bonnie, I can't beleive you took so long to tell us about your Easter weekend. Too funny!!
I made them all wear "Easter Bonnets"!
Did Glenn have to wear a bonnet too? When are you going back to Chicago or is Glenn traveling to you next?

Jeanne, I know you are working but we need an update about your date as soon as you can!

When does Denine get back? I don't remember.

Julie, I hope you can share the pictue with us. It sounds adorable.

Sandy, don't forget the bug spray when you are camping. Are you guys going back this weekend? I know how much you enjoy it.

I teach my last Junior Achievment class at Turner's school today. I really enjoy getting out o fthe office and into the school classroom every now and then. I was working on their certificates of completion last night. In some ways, I wish I had become a teacher - such a rewarding experience.

Have a great day. We are consistently in the mid to upper 80s everyday now. :sunny:

Love ya.
Later!

Home today against my will! I don't have hardly any PTO time left & work is slow so they "mandatory" flexed.

The date went well. We met three other friends at a bar to watch Smarty Jones & then went out to dinner with them. I have the feeling he didn't want to be alone with me. He finally DID apologize:flower3: but I don't know if it will ever be the way it was in the beginning.. He has alot of things going on in his life. Finally heard from his son in Iraq after three weeks of no calls or e-mails.

FAITH: I am praying for Kristy.

JULIE: That picture is going to be BEAUTIFUL!

BONNIE: Sounds like you had a great weekend. Invite is still open for October cruise & the 14 day if you're interested but this is the LAST time I'm asking!

Everyone remember - GOOOOOO FLYERS:thewave: Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Good morning,

I get the kids today so I am up and running early. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Jeanne, sorry about the disappointment in your date. I bet that things will improve once you two relax. Sorry about work, too. Man, that's bad!!

Susan, good to hear from you. Sounds like you enjoy being around kids like the ladies in my family. Kids are our lives.

Hey Lori, come out, come out where ever you are!!!!

Good Morning!

Bonnie-I love the Easter Bonnet thing. I will have to do that with my Mom when she gets old. Which of course is a long long long time from now!

Sandy-Did I miss the entire thing going on with Faith? Who is Kristy??

I am waiting for a quote for the 2 cabins. I will probably end up going with one but 2 sure does sounds nice!

It is cloudy and foggy here. I really love this weather.

Barb:smooth:

Heeheehee you are so cute! I think a bonnet would look good on you!

Facial's are pretty addictive! Guess I know what to get you for now on.

I may have to hurt you! That is if I have the strength when I am that old that you could get away with it.

Patti, you will have to protect your mother from your little sister! You know how mean she can be trying to throw you out the window of the train....

WRONG! I am the nice one remember!

She wore a bonnet with blue flowers on it......lalalalalalala
sing with me now.....

:teeth:

Hi all, we are home! We arrived home to a jungle of a yard this afternoon. Our grass has never been so long.

We had a great time and I will post more another day.

Hope you are all well!

SANDY: I called Castaway Club & we are on the opposite ends of the ship. Our stateroom number is 6007 & runs the opposite way - kind of weird! I did send an e-mail to Tammy too!

Jeanne: That is our favorite cabin. We have been in it 3 times, and on both ships! We stayed in 6011 for our back to backs because we couldn't get that one for 2 weeks.

Did Glenn have to wear a bonnet too? When are you going back to

I made Glenn wear an Easter Bonnet for a picture of the 2 of us...I will send it to you all! Don't get mad Glenn...I know you read this!

Mom...My mother is not much older than you, or possibly very close as I remember. You're a good egg...I know you would do it.

Jeanne-no relationship is the same as you go along. All that starry eyed stuff is replaced with comfort as day to day stresses happen. Just ask all the old married people here...I am sure they do not feel the same as they did many years ago when they were first dating. If they can remember way back then! Imagine having a son in that awful Iraq! That alone could cause someone to be stressed all the time. It may work out.

Off to that horrible job of mine...too much work so little time.

Bonnie's right: no relationship is the same as you go along.
Jeanne - I have no idea what happened between you and Bobby. But, if you really care about each other, you swallow you pride and pick up the phone when you need to work something out. I'm glad he called you and I'm glad he apologized for whatever happened. All relationships take work to make them successful. Sounds like you guys are "working" on it. Good Luck.

Bonnie - I can't wait to see the picture of you and Glenn. Sounds like a very fun dinner.

Denine - WELCOME HOME! Can't wait to hear about your trip.

Sally - the bonnet could be fun but the "girls" would have to wear one too!! Maybe you all could make a bonnet for each other (for some reason I picture scenes from the Ya Ya Siterhood - lol.)

Taught my last Junior Achievement class yesterday. It was a lot of fun. The kids were begging me to stay late so they didn't have to have their teacher teaching the last half hour of the day!

Gotta run. Have a great day everyone.
Later!

Watched the FLYERS lose with Bobby. Everybody needs to think "pixie dust". It is a MUST win situation. GOOOO FLYERS!:thewave:

I end up working every Easter fo some reason & a few years ago we all made easter bonnets & wore them in. It was so much fun. We have one nurse who lives in Lancaster, PA. (amish country) & she made an amish type Easter bonnet. I do have a picture but you know I don't know how to send things.

DENINE: Welcome home. I am so glad to hear that the room is okay. It scared me a little bit when I saw that it runs the opposite way. I am sooooo excited to "BRING THE MAGIC HOME":boat:

Hope you all are having a great week. Tonight off to a retirement party for a nurses aide I have worked with for 20 years. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

HI ALL! Juat checking in. Got my quote for bringing home the Magic (just for fun I wanted to get a quote) and well for the 5 of us in a cat 4 (that is what we need cause they only sleep 5 persons) it was $11,700 and change! WELL I can say is that we will be with you in spirit NOT in person!

Well, gotta run! Will check back in later!
