Hi Faith!!!

Susan - I am sorry, but unfortunately I don't think I will be able to go to Washington DC the weekend of the 24th. We are so busy at work due to the internet shutdown that happened a month ago that it's probably going to have to take place over a conference call instead of actually going to DC. I was trying to push it that weekend and then we had a deadline from the Dept. of Interior of April 23 to get our security clearances updated. I was sad because I was hoping I could get my parents out to DC and then to meet you would have been a great bonus.

One of these days I will get to meet one of you, atleast I hope someday it will work out. I haven't even met the people that live in Colorado and Lori is like 10 minutes from my house!!!

Jeanne should be home in a couple more days. Lucky girl. She is always going somewhere. I WAS going to DC until the Gov't messed that up. Poor Sandy!

Heidi, maybe you can come to lunch with Lori and me on one of your Fridays off. At least that way you could meet ONE person.

It's late and I am tired but I had to check in. Easter was nice. We went to my brother's for dinner.

Heidi - don't worry about DC. We aren't going either. Looks like we are heading to Pittsburgh instead. This new hockey league is so disorganized. They didn't get the registration in for the tournament and so it is already booked. Hopefulloythe Pittsburgh thing will work out. I have been helping Paul and the coach work out the details ever since I got home today. Still lots to do to get us confirmed.

Gotta run. Need some sleep before another work day.

Just at work. I have another migraine but not as bad as last week. I feel very queazy but I think thats because I didn't eat very much before taking my migraine pills. Hoping to make it through work, if not I will see you early mom!!!

Thanks alot for giving my mom the Mickey, Lori. Now my one of my Pooh Bear figurines gets booted out of my moms cabinet!! Just teasing, I guess afterall, it is my moms cabinet!

Thats too bad Susan, I am sure Pittsburg will be just as fun.

Yesterday was not a good day for me. So far today is looking much much better.

Jaymee is going to Mexico Thursday on a missions trip. She is so excited.

Not much new with me. Friday is a moving day for my company. We have built a bigger building and are moving 10 miles North. The building is about 3 times bigger then the one we are in now. I am excited although it is going to take longer to get to work.

I think it is finally warming back up here. I am ready for Spring Flowers. I have not even started cleaning my yard unlike my Mother.

Didn't get a chance to post on Easter. Kaleigh slept in, then we had to get ready for church. She did pretty well. Then it was off to Jerry's parents for dinner. Kaleigh enjoyed Easter.

Jerry worked from home unexpectadly yesterday, so I didn't get to post then either. We did get some spring cleanup done outside though.

Laurie: I am so sorry for your loss. Your family has had a rough year. Hope to see you here more often.

Heidi: Do you take anything to prevent your migraines from happening? Jerry take a daily pill to prevent them and Imitrex if he gets one. It has really cut down on the number he gets.

Julie: I am sure your trip to Michigan was at least interesting.

Mom - why did you have to take them on my Fridays? What time are they coming in the morning and what time are the leaving? So both fridays? Why me. Guess I will find a new home for those days so I can actually relax instead of hearing kids all day, I already did that for 6 years and it was my choice to leave that profession.

Denine - I did have prescription pills that would take away my migraines. I would take 2 pills and then take one every hour until it went away. I use to get migraines almost 2 a week and now its about once a month. For prevention, the doctor told me I had two choices; blood pressure pills or changing my birth control. I chose neither!!! They are slowly disappearing so maybe I will just wait. (thats my excuse because I hate doctors!!!)

I had a nice suprise at work today. Today was a coworkers birthday, her name is Maria and she is from the Phillipines. Last night and this morning she made up all these Phillipine dishes for her birthday to share with us. They were so good. She turned 68. She said she is grateful to turn that age and thats why she wants to celebrate. I guess it's a tradition for her culture. She is such a sweatheart!!! We call her our den mother.

Ha Ha Ha Mom, Taura just called me and we are going to the zoo on Friday. Love ya, mean it.

Heidi, Heidi, gosh almighty. You sure came across as whiney today. Everyone here probably thinks that you don't like kids and it is quite the opposite. I have had these dates for quite awhile. So there. You just go to the zoo and don't ever tell me again that you miss Graci!! Maria has to be one of the sweetest ladies. I really feel sorry for her tho. I know she misses her family so much. How were the dishes??

Hi Denine, glad you found your way back to the thread. Glad that you guys had time for some outdoor work. After talking to you on the phone I sure understand more about your weather.

Yea! I got to work out in the yard again after about a week....planted some more things and everything came through our snow and freezing weather....the grass looks great.

I only have 4 more beds to do and then I will do the front yard. My friend and I are going to paint the back of the house and patio....she loves to paint! She wants to do the whole house but the back really needs it and the rest is in pretty good shape.

Whining and complaining!

Today sucks! It has been in the 30's and raining all day. We even had some fog. They are talking wet snow tonight.

But... That matches my mood because I just found out today that my job is being eliminated. They have decided they only need 1 nurse during the day and are cutting out the 6-10 AM position. Since that is all I work, I am out of a job come May 1st. So, this is my last weekend to earn some money. I am going to be a full time mom for a while, because I won't be able to find another job with those hours.

My mom said that my post sounded like I hate kids. Let me clear one thing up, I do not hate kids. I love them or I would never have stayed working in a daycare for 6 years if I didn't!!! I was just teasing because my mom always seems to get the kids on the day I can actually sleep in!!! Of course yesterday I was right up there playing with the kids and taking Graci "potty".

Denine - So you saw that thread too!!! That thread was one of the topics of conversation with my mom yesterday. I asked her if I ever really liked peanut butter and she said no I really never ate it when I was a kid. I don't know what it is but I just hate it, its disgusting to me!!! My sister loves peanut butter. My mom says she prefers Jif but use to like Skippy!!! What brand do you prefer?
