Mom - there is still hope!!! It looks like we will probably be going back to Washington DC in middle May. My boss also told me that I could take the days off in May for Vegas. Sounds like May is going to be a good month for me!!!

Faith, we all warned you that we are a wild and crazy bunch of people. But we are full of hugs, and laughter and and helping each other. You can still run if you want to. Can you believe that we are on our 3rd or 4th thread. After so long, they close down the thread and make you open a new one. We actually have been friends for two years. I think it is even two years to this month. Gosh, that calls for another wine chat. My SIL has been so much help around here, too. He has helped Ted paint, put in tile floors, patch drywall and a number of other projects.

Ok, how is everyone doing it? Survivor, Apprentice, American Idol and Friends. Just not enough recording devices to go around.

Heidi: Even Kaleigh loves pretzels! She gets upset if we pass by 2 places in the mall without going.. Auntie Annes pretzels and the Disney Store.

Today is a great day! It is going to be warm and sunny. Kaleigh and I actually put on shorts
The guys last night on the radio were comenting that we actually had the word "warm" in our forecast.

We got more painting done last night after Kaleigh went to bed. We didn't get to bed until around midnight.

We may have actually found the right neighborhood to move to! It is in North Ridgeville which is in the next county to the west. It is about 1/2 hour from where we are now. The same homes we have been looking at are much less expensive and the property tax rate is quite good. We still have to decide between the 2 floor plans. If we choose the Dunkirk, our backyard can back up to a farmer that grows soybeans. I don't know where our house would be if we choose the Victoria. We didn't get that info yesterday.

I am taking a big chance and took off our flannel sheets. It is supposed to be in the 70's the next few days.

Just wanted to drop in and say goodbye. Ted and I have decided to go to the cabin with Stacey and Richard. They all love to ride the 4 wheelers. I like just to sit around the cabin and enjoy the tranquilty. I bought a couple of magazines to read. We will be home sometime on Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone.

Faith, Garry and I watch the apprentice also. I was more in favor of Kwame, but I guess Bill will do an ok job. Kwame was alittle too laid back, but I think he has the head for the job. Bill just seems soooooo "messy". Did you ever take a good look at his suits and hair? He jsut doesn't look polished to me to be the head of a business. What did you think?

We also are big time watchers of Surivior ( they really need to get rid of Boston Rob, sorry but he seems too full of himself ) and Big Brother.

Oh well, gonna go. Today was BEAUTIFUL today and the rest of the weekend seems to be looking just as nice.

Thank you Julie.....we did it.....55 years today!!!

I heard Kwame got several job offers right after the show and one was with the Dallas Cowboys.....Maybe Donald Trump will polish Bill up...he is a little intense.

I agree Boston Rob is full of himself....I can't understand why the people on these shows can't see two feet in front of them and always let the ones people don't like and are a threat stay in the game....

My favorite show is the Extreme Makeover House on Sunday night with Ty.....ever watch it. It leaves you with a really good feeling and amazement at what they did on that program. If any of you haven't seen it it is a must to watch.

Also a belated Happy Birthday to Kristen.....Our computer was down yesterday...couldn't get on the internet.

I liked Kwame better, I wanted him to win. But I knew he would not because he is way too laid back and he should have fired that Omarosa. Kwame will do great I'm glad he has had job offers. Hey what do you think about Sam's offer do you think "The Donald" will take him up on it?
I do not watch any other shows because I have to get up so early in the am to go to work. But I see the ad's for the surivior and I agree that "Boston Rob seams very full of himself.

It's a very "wicked" beautiful day here in Boston land so I'm taking a very long walk to enjoy. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Faith, If I understood it, I think that "The Donald" is going to bring back some of the people from the first apprentice to compete on the second. By the looks of it, Sam, Troy and Omerrosa (sp) are going to come back. I could be wrong here, but on the final show he mentioned something like he was going to bring back some of the "peoples" choices and familiar faces and the camera showed Troy, Sam and her (I can't stand her!!!)

Today was pretty "wicked" here, for the most part. We did get some rain in the late afternoon, but it didn't last. Finally shorts weather!!!!!

When Garry and I went to Boston back in 2001 we went to Fenway Park! We went to game and it was pretty fun. The only thing that Garry and I said about it was the the chairs were COVERED with peanut shells and garbage. Is that always like that or did we go on a day that they didn't clean the seats?

I hope that Sandy is having a great time! I wonder if she got on a 4 wheeler?

Bonnie, where are you? We want to know how Easter weekend went!!!!!

Happy Sunday morning everyone!! It is bright and beautiful here today. We are supposed to get to 85 today!!! I know you all must be jealous!

I've been extremely busy this week and didn't get to post much. I have a lot to catch up on. First of all, belated Happy Birthday to Kristen. Second, Happy Birthday to Katie.

Turner has 4 friends over so we have 5 boys in the house. I'm about to send them outside since it is so beautiful outside!

We bought a used Windstar on Wednesday. My Astro van needed to be replaced and a guy at work was selling the Windstar. It is fully loaded with more options than I need but we got an excellent deal on it.

I helped my sister-in-law witha yard sale yesterday. We both put a lot of stuff in and decided we'd split the profits. I got a lot of stuff cleaned out of the house and made over $120 on top of it!! Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.

I need to put my 2 cents in on the strange food choices. I love peanut butter, banana and mayonnaise sandwiches (or any combination of the ingredients)!! And I also love peanut butter and Karo syrup!! I also choose Peter Pan when it comes to peanut butter.

Hi guys, I am back. Had a WONDERFUL relaxing weekend. Now for all the laundry. YUCK. Ok, I broke and got on a 4 wheeler last night. We checked out an abandoned cabin and saw 2 elk. It was a lot of fun. I just have to stay on the "road" and not go too back country-ish. Now the rest of them head off, each on their own and comeback black with mud and dust both. It is hilarious to see. Last night we roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. Never turned on the TV. Wow, paradise, Colorado style.

I watch Apprentice. I was all for Kwame until he self admitted that he is a "skirt chaser" and admitted on camera that is why his marriage broke up. He "need lots of women". So......he lost my vote then. We liked Troy, too. Sam drove me NUTS but doesn't compare to Survivors Boston Rob. If those people can't figure out Boston Rob then they deserve to lose. I still love Rupert. American Idol, I love George.

Jeanne should be home by now. She better check in! Waiting for another post from Bonnie, too.

Had fun reading your post Susan. Glad you found the time. Are you crazy? That many boys in your home??? I had an Astro Van before my Suburban. I LOVED it. The only reason we sold it was for a better tow vehicle. Sounds like you will really enjoy the new van with all the bells and whistles!

Good morning everyone. A beautiful sunny day. Can't remember the temp but it should be nice. Might kick up some wind today. Must have had a lot of wind when we were gone. They drain spout from the rain gutter blew away.

Heidi is at Jury Duty today. They called in 300 people so it might mean a good trial. I have been away from the Courts for so long that I can't remember anymore the number of jurors that they would pull on a given day. Usually Mondays were slow because it was arraignment days. Hope she doesn't get picked. I am ansy to find out about DC in May. Maybe she will check in at work. Hope so. Anybody in for a road trip if she goes??

After a busy weekend, I am back. We only have 1 wall left to paint. But, it has to be done after Kaleigh goes to bed.

It was a beautiful weekend. I didn't even mind the little bit of rain on Saturday. It is cooler today and is currently raining.

I had my last weekend of 4 hour shifts. I decided to pick up 1 8-hour shift at the end of May to see how it is doing both sides. We will see how it goes.

We have an appointment tonight at the North Ridgeville development to price out another house. The street we would be living on, no matter which house we choose is Stoney Lake Drive. I even like the name.

Mourning Doves: I like to hear them or any other bird chirping or singing for that matter. I don't like woodpeckers pecking on my house though.

Don't watch much TV. It is mostly baseball this time of year. But we have been watching Designed to Sell on HGTV to get ideas for selling our house.

Some neighborhood cat has been leaving "treasures" on the side of my house. So far, 2 dead field mice and 2 dead, small garter snakes. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they were supposed to take their "treasures" home to their house.

Hope you like your new van. We are not mini-van people. But, I know a lot of people love them. I love my Rendezvous!

Maybe Bonnie didn't survive her Easter with all those ladies!


The flowering trees are finally starting to bloom. The warm weather this weekend really brought them out.
