Ok, so now I am getting a complex. Everyone chatted up a storm today until I posted. I don't want to be known as a thread killer. LOL

Not much new with me. I am working on my quilts. Sure would like to get the 2 I am working on done this week so I can get 2 more done next week.

I get my flu shot today at 3:00. Sure hope it is ok to get one when I am still getting over my cold and bronchitis.

Denine-How is the toe?

Julie-How are you feeling? Hope you are better.

Hey everyone. No Percocet head today. My toe isn't throbbing nearly as much so I haven't taken any. Just don't think about touching my toe! I have to change the surgical dressing tomorrow.

I was able to switch work tomorrow to next Friday. I really didn't want to call off. Luckily the one working next Friday was there this morning and she said no problem.

I talked to Julie for 2 minutes yesterday. She sounded much better to what Jerry said she sounded like last weekend.

We will try again for Kaleigh's MD appointment to look at her belly button tomorrow afternoon.

Barb, I have always been told that as long as you don't have a fever then it is ok to get the shot.

Denine, good thing you got your work to switch days. You don't need to be working.

Talked to Heidi. They have been at Home Depot for 2 hours trying to get everything. It sounded like they were all having fun. She is tired. Got to bed at 2am and got up at 6am.

I am jealous that they are going however. I just have to keep remembering that we leave for Cozumel the end of January.

Nothing new here...pretty boring actually...the way I like it.

Trying to get Richard to buy me a house but it doesn't look good since we are "self employed". They want two years worth of financial statements...which we are obviously not even close to yet. The lady working on the pre-qual is trying to get us a no qualified loan but we will see. They are thinking that maybe we should put 20% down which we don't have either. I would rather suck it up for a little longer...LITTLE... instead of settling.

Tyler's appt. is Wednesday morning so hopefully we can finally get our answers. The doctor better beware...I'm coming and can't wait to give him my opinion on how things have been handled up to this point!!!

Howdy Stacey. Good to hear from you. Still looks like we are going down Saturday. I think you are right about NOT SETTLING. Those creative financing (no qual etc) can get you into trouble.

Yep I got it. I told them I had a cold and since I no longer have a fever they said I would be ok. I even got a Happy Face Sticker!

Well, we raked leaves all day today at the other house. I am sooooo sore and tired. Sure wish I had a hot tub! Now we have to rake our leaves. ICK!

Stacey: Hold out. DOn't go for hte creative financing. Pixie dust for Wednesday.

I will probably get my flu shot at work next Friday.

My toe is so much better. I changed the dressing yesterday and it looks much better too.

Kaleigh: They will call me by Wednesday to set upa date for surgery. But, she not only has the umbilical hernia, she also has bilateral inguinal hernias that need to be repaired. Didn't know that. It should take 1-1/2 hours to fix everything. It will probably be next month before Christmas. He said recovery time is around 4 days, so we don't want to do it right before vacation, but it needs to be done this year because of insurance changes in the new year. The doctor was SOOO nice. He talked TO Kaleigh and asked her questions and told her what he was going to do. Then he talked to us. I really liked the way he did that. He is the new Chief of Pediatric surgery at Rainbow. It is up to you guys to help me thorugh this surgery. It is usually me on the knife end, not on the waiting end.

I want to do something fun today, but I don't know what. It has been a long week.

Sandy: That is one thing about having teeny trees, no leaves to rake.

I am waiting for 1 more thing to come and then I can mail my Secret Santa.

Kaleigh's idea of fun was for Jen to come babysit and for us to go to dinner and shopping. So, I called Jen and she is coming over at 5PM. Sounds good to me!

I guess I am the only one here this weekend.

Fun was had by all last night. Kaleigh wore out her 12 year old babysitter. When asked how Kaleigh was when we got home she siad, energetic!

I put a bunch of books on hold at the library for kids having surgery.

We got Kaleigh Meet the Robinsons for when she has surgery since she will be feeling crummy for a few days.

Gotta go get ready for church.

Sorry Denine, I hate it when someone talks to themselves. I am here just busy with outside work before the rain/snow comes in tonight. It's hard when you have 2 homes to contend with. I love your idea of getting books about surgery for Kaleigh. Great idea. I think you have found the perfect surgeon for her as well. I love her idea of fun.....it made it fun for you guys too!!

We spent yesterday with Stacey and kids. It was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I am here to or at least checking in. Broncos are playing and so far winning. It sure would be a nice change to have them win!

Tiffany comes home in 8 days. Got some fun things planned. Right now I am racing to get her quilt done so I can get it wrapped before she comes home.

Sandy: DO you still have your friends home? I thought you had sold that.

Jerry is not feeling well today. He must have caught a bug at work. He seems to be feeling some better.

We are moving up in the technology age; we bought a digital camera today. My camera died on vacation. I had to buy disposables for the rest of the trip. We found a camera at BJ's yesterday on sale for $90. Jerry came home to check it out on the internet and found it to be a really good camera. I guess it came out 1-1/2 years ago and cost over $300 then. We went back today to buy it and all they had left was the display. It looked good and had never been turned on, so we bought it for $80. It is a Canon A540 for those of you that know about such things. I have been playing around with it. Man, I can't imagine all the the settings you can do with this thing. I imagine I will just leave it in auto, at least most of the time. Now, we just have to get a memory card. I just have the one that came with the camera.

It is cold and rainy today. Not supposed to be much better the rest of the week.

Good Morning!

YAY Denine a new camera!!! I have had a Cannon for the past couple of years and love it. I want to upgrade to a Cannon Power Shot. That is what I am asking for for my birthday. I pointed it out to Bob at Target this weekend so we will see if he took the "Hint"

It has been so nice here. We did yard work this weekend. That is unheard of in Colorado to be outside with no coats doing yard work in November! Crazy Crazy crazy!

Barb: This is a Cannon power shot. I am looking forward to taking pictures with it at Disney. It has a 4x zoom. My old film camera never came close to that.

Rainy day. I have no where to go today and I intend on keeping it that way. I need to go make spaghetti sauce for dinner. I am using the last of my tomatoes.


We are trying to finalize our WDW trip plans for the Spring. We are going over my birthday again. It is just a matter of deciding the beginning and end dates.

We wanted to go to DL next year but that isn't happening.
