Denine, I never had it fixed because I never knew I could until you said something a couple of days ago. I had Kaiser at the time and they probably didn't WANT to do anything. I don't know what Kaleigh's looks like but mine LOOKS normal so for looks I don't need to but for being uncomfortable it would be nice to have it done!!

Denine, the BBQ idea for the party is a good one!

Haven't heard from Stacey yet. She is up here and her MIL is babysitting. Everything must be going good for her. You won't believe this, Stacey called as I was typing this. SCARY!!! Anyway, everything is good. They had a good time at the Merchandise Mart and said it paid off to go. I think it would be fun to go but they can't bring in anyone. DARN.

Okay, Chris is taking his duties a little serious. When he got off work yesterday (at noon) he stopped by my cousins house. My older cousin's car was there so Chris knocked on the door. When my cousin answered Chris asked him, "what's her name" (there really wasn't a girl) "why did it take you so long to answer the door" and "are you going back to school". I told Chris he needs to let them take responsibility and show that they can be trusted but they can't with always showing up at their doorstep.

(ok, ok I did drive by their house after kickboxing to find my cousin's car gone, but I did NOT knock on the door!!!)

Hi guys! I'm here! My sinus infection has gone into bronchitis but I will survive. The kids had a great time trick or treating. They got a BOAT LOAD of candy!!!

Report cards come out on Friday. I think that both kids did really good. We will see.

Stacy, Heidi and Sandy, how are things with Tyler? I've been thinking about him. Pixie Dust to all of you!

Barb, so what project are you working on now? You are always sooooo creative.

Denine, so how's school going? Do you have a date for Kaleigh's surgery yet?

Well, gonna go! We actually had some snow flakes flying around this morning. Nothing sticking, but the snows coming!

Julie, you are so correct. SNOW is coming. Supposedly Nov's snow on the average for us is 10". Boat load of candy sounds enticing to me. Good thing that I don't live close by!! Thanks for asking about Tyler. Stacey finally got a neurologist appt for next Wed so we are all on pins and needles waiting. I get to babysit Joey while they go to the appt.

Hi guys! It has been an interesting couple of days. We went for Kaleigh's MD appointment yesterday, but it got cancelled, he was in emergency surgery and cancelled about 5 minutes beofre we got there. I now have another appointment for Kaleigh on Friday with a different surgeon, same group, different office. I couldn't get back to this guy for 2 weeks and I already have an appointment that day.
Today, my banged up toe. The nail was almost off, so I looked at the nail bed, yuck! It has been hurting this whole time, a little more the last 2 days. Made an appointment for 11:15, so we left at 10:15. Saw the PA who removed the nail completely. Wanted me to see the podiatrist. Couldn't get in to see then until 2:30. Went to the mall for lunch and some shopping. Went back to the MD. Took x-rays again, thinks it was fractured, but should heal no problem. Thinks the nailbed was split when the chari fell on it. It was nvere reparied. A granuloma formed under my nail (Kaleigh said it looked like a tomato). The new nail coming in couldn't get around it, so it was trying to grow under it. He removed the granuloma and the new nail after numbing it up. Gave me a script for antibiotics as there may be a slight staph infection. Want to be on the safe side. Bandaged the whole thing up. I go back Tuesday. I am wishing I still lived in Strongsville at this point. He told me I will be very happy and drew a smiley face on the dressing.
It was a VERY long day and Kaleigh was a trooper. I didn't get out of the office until 4 and home close to 5.

Sandy: Kaleigh's belly button does not look normal. It sticks out about an inch. It used to be bigger. Do you think you would consider getting it fixed after having it for so long?

Heidi: OOPPS! HOw funny.

Weather was very yucky today. WIndy, cold and snowy. Nothing to accumulate, just yucky.

Oh yeah, we lost power last night for 1-1/2 hours. Unfortunately, Kaleigh was in the bathtub and got pretty scared. It was really windy last night and a branch probably fell on something.

At least we voted absentee this time, so didn't have to do that too!

I get to go back to Strongsville on Friday for work! Three times in 1 week. It takes 30 minutes to get to work, but closer to 45 to get to the doctor.

Good Morning!

Julie-I am working on a quilt for my sister. I need to get it done by next week. I just started it a few days ago. YIKES! I will take a picture and post when it is done. Now that I know how to post pictures. I had bronchitis last week too. I went home early from work 3 out of the 4 days. Hated using my vacation time but I felt horrible. Went to the nurse here at work and she hooked me up to a breathing machine and put me on some medicine. I am much much better now. Hope you are also feeling better.

Sandy-You have a Cici's? Wish we did. I see commercials all the time for it. We ate at one in New Mexico. Loved the price!

Denine- OUCH! I hope you toe is better.

Heidi- I like the new wedding count down better then the old one. Cute picture!

I started making center pieces for Jaymee's wedding. I came up with a really cute idea. Sure hope they work and look ok. She is having a Cinderella wedding. I have lots of ideas for decorations. Still looks like the middle of June.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is in 2 weeks!!! Are we going to have our Secret Santa gift exchange around Thanksgiving? I really want my person to open theirs around then.

I started decorating the house for Christmas. I think I will only put up 3 trees this year instead of 5. It is so much work and we are leaving for Disney on Christmas day. I hope to get the rest of the house decorated on Friday.

Tiffany comes home for Thanksgiving on the 19th. We had so much fun together her last trip home. Looking forward to this one.

Denine - Wow, what on ordeal. Sounds so painful. I hope you are doing better.

Barb - glad you are feeling better now, we missed you. I was so tired of looking at the old countdown timer that I had to change it!! My favorite pizza at Cici's is the Mac and cheese pizza. I LOVE it!!! We use to have one really close to us, but then they closed it. Now we have to drive a little further to get to one, but to me for the price and the mac and cheese pizza, breadsticks, and cinnamon rolls it is so worth it!! So what are your ideas for table decorations?

This afternoon our plane takes of for FL and we get back on Tuesday afternoon. We are staying with Chris's sister's, they live in Pt St. Lucie with is an hour north of West Palm Beach. We get into FL at 10:30 tonight, then pick up our car and drive an hour....it is going to be an extremely long day/night. How can I be in FL for almost a week and not step foot into Disney????

Not going to Disney! Man that is a bummer!

The center pieces are going to be Cinderella's coach. I am painting pumpkins white then covering them in white glitter Bob is going to make a small base for them to sit on and bending wire in the shape of the wheels for each side. I am going to string a vine on the wheels and put some baby roses and greens kind of cascading on the pumpkin. I will set the entire coach on a bed of greenery and place a few sweetheart roses in it. We make cut the two sides out on the pumpkins and put a small flower arrangement inside the coach not sure yet.

We have a Cici's close by, but have never gone.

The anesthetic wore off at 10 PM. I ended up taking a vicodin. I still didn't sleep much, but at least the throbbing stopped. I took a percocet this morning, and my head is all messed up, but my toe doesn't hurt as much. I just want to go to sleep. I have been laying on the couch all morning. No school for us today.

I have no idea what dinner will be.

Another snowy, yucky day.

Denine, my toe just hurts thinking about you. I am so sorry! OUCH! No, I would NEVER ever think of having my belly button fixed. The thought of a doctor even examining it makes me sick. You are very, very smart having Kaleigh's done now!! Cici's is cheap and fairly good. The desserts are to die for.

Barb, so glad you are back posting and feeling better. You must be so run down from all that you do. Your centerpiece idea is soooooooooooooooo cool. LOVE IT!! I can't wait to get a trip report from you on your Christmas trip.

It is official....Heidi is leaving town. They just dropped off their dog, Sable. She is such a good girl. I feel bad that they went to work today and have the long day ahead. I am jealous that they are going however. I just have to keep remembering that we leave for Cozumel the end of January.

Hope Julie is feeling better too.

I am waiting for a package to arrive before I can send mine out too. Should be here SOON!!!! Like the end of this week soon. My plans are to send it as soon as it arrives.
