October 19th Cruisers again and again...

The trip report still has to wait. I don't have any time.

I forgot that I have a "retreat" today from 12 to 4:30 PM. Yuck! I hate these things. Just waiting for Jerry to come home so I can leave in about 45 minutes.

We got the grass cut last night. It was really thick and tall from being away for 2 weeks.

My tomatoes are still growing!

Tomorrow is Halloween. Kaleigh will be Cinderella and I am going to dress in my pirate costume to hand out candy. Jerry will take Kaleigh.

I made it, I got my flu shot. For whatever reason she put it up really high in my arm almost to my shoulder.

OMG, my arm is killing me. I can hardly move it, the shot was literally in my shoulder. Can I cry?? I am never getting a stupid flu shot again.

I saw that too and was thinking about making it for Thanksgiving!!!! Two great minds think alike.

So I was trying to get my messages off my work phone and I went to rest the phone on my shoulder and it hit the spot where I got my shot and pain shot through my arm. Who in there right mind puts a shot up there?

Heidi: Poor thing. It sounds like she got it a bit high on the deltoid, or she missed her mark completely.

I like the lemon drink at Palo. Refreshing.

I made it through my retreat which really wasn't a retreat. It was 4-1/2 hours of learning how to be an effective supervisor. I had a horrible headache by the time it was over. They did give us lunch though. We went to Bennigan's for dinner. We had the fish and chips. We definitely like the Rose and Crown better. Of course, we eat inside, not from the cart. Those haven't been good in years.

Supposed to be nice this evening. I hate having to bundle up to go beg for candy.

I promise I will get to a trip report eventually!

Happy Halloween! I am sitting at my desk dressed as the "Statue of Liberty"
Our theme was "Around the World in 80 Days" I have been working so hard on all the props now I can sit back and rest..... Well not really I still have 7 quilts to make for Christmas and all the decorations for our room. I am going to start Jaymee's wedding stuff in January.

We are taking Ethan to the church tonight. They have games, candy and a petting zoo. Sandy if it was actually warm and nice here on halloween night we would think we were somewhere else! One good thing is it is not wet. Thats a switch! Ethan is going to be a Munchkin. His costume is HUGE on him. Darn mail order!

The ghouls and goblins are out. It is weird since it is still light out. It will get darker soon.

I saw some people across the street taller than I am out trick or treating. At least they are wearing nice costumes.

I've got people coming...

I switched our cruise ressie to Dreams today. We get an extra $100 stateroom credit.

So far no one is coming to my party and I have 2 orders. I am hoping for more orders at least. Anyone want some choclate rasperry trifle on Sunday? I am sure there will be a lot left over unless I get some surprise guests.

The kids are out in force tonight. Maybe becasue it is nice and light out. LAst year we hardly got anyone.

It only goes until 7:30. Everywhere else we have lived it has been 2 hours, but here it is 1-1/2 hours.

Barb: Ethan as a munchkin, how cute! So, did you win your contest?

My pumpkins won't stay lit, it is too windy. I will try again later when it is actually dark outside.

This cruise was different. We didn't know really any of the cast members. From what we were told, the Med cruises messed everything up and a lot of the Magic people went to the Wonder. We didn't know anyone in Palo! Our buddy Victor was still there though. Instead of Sessions though he was in Diversions which was fine since we were there watching baseball.

Had a bad afternoon and night. Tyler was rushed to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He had a seizure. Stacey started her seizures at the same age. He is home now and doing fine. I hope he doesn't have any more. Bless his heart. Seizures are so draining.

Very scary night, I still want to cry. I am exhausted, didn't sleep at all last night but have to be at work since I leave for FL next week.

Poor Tyler. Was it febrile? Our nephew kept having febrile seizures. He hasn't had any for a long time now.

Kaleigh had a lot of fun TOT! She apparently curtsied at almost every door.

I ordered her costume and accessories for next year. She will be Aurora.

I work tomorrow.

We leave 1 month from today for WDW.

How can anyone but me have such a miserable showing for a papmered chef party? 1 person, that's it. I would cancel it except I haven't heard from everyone and I can't remember who all I gave invites to at work.

Except for the party, no plans for this weekend.

WE WON THE DECORATING CONTEST!!! We really did have a cool display. We are already working on ideas for next year.

I am leaving early today. I have been sick all week. Just found out I have bronchitis. I left work early on Monday came in late on Tuesday and now leaving early today. I went to our health clinic here and she gave me a breathing treatment. Feels like the gorilla that was sitting on my chest all week may have finally left!

Barb, congrats on winning the deco contest. Way to go! Wow, you must have been REALLY sick! Hey, how many hospitals does the Springs have? I almost called you for directions to Memorial but Chris got them off the internet. I remember you giving Jaymee directions to Fargos that time we met all of you there. You had so much patience! Now that I think about it, it might have been Tiffany. Who ever had just gotten their drivers license.

Denine, how cute about Kaleigh. What a doll. Sorry about your PC party! You never know about any of those parties!

I am totally exhausted. Stacey said she didn't sleep because she kept reliving it and I told her I didn't sleep because I kept reliving when she did it and also thinking about Mr. Tyler. I hated to think that Stacey and Richard were going through that. Words can't even express the feelings of not being able to "bring" them out of it. The FEAR, oh my gosh. Poor Richard having Tyler in his arms running around the fire station trying to find someone, anyone to help. I love what Joey and Tyler did when they met up at the house after we got back. It's funny but Heidi and Stacey did it too. They reached out and touched each other. It was like is it really you, are you ok?Talk about tearing up on that one! Joey kept saying "Daddy fixed Tyler". I think the other Grandma must have reassured Joey with that statement. I thought it was the perfect way!

Just got back from Target. Oh my goodness, I am set for life with candy. Heidi told me about Target having 1.00 off coupons for M&M's so I bought 10 bags for 39 cents each. NICE! Then I bought a couple of bags for next year trick or treating at the campground over Memorial I believe. Then I bought a couple of bags to take to Mexico as part of tips. They don't get much chocolate there so it is very much appreciated. Some for Ted's work. I am chocolated out!

Wow, thanks for letting me talk out last night. It helped me. Like therapy I guess. I honestly feel better. Love you guys!
