Funky Monkey is another thread that we post on. We have Cosmo the monkey that we all pass around and go on vacation with us.

Well it looks like I am going out to FL from Nov 7th - Nov 13th. Chris's mom had a stroke 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with Diabetes. During the whole thing she fell through her floor in her trailer that she lives in. All of Chris's siblings arranged to be out there at the same time so they can fix up her trailer and replace the floor and since all will be out there they are making it an early Thanksgiving. Chris bought himself a ticket a few weeks ago but couldn't afford mine but now that he got paid again he went ahead and bought me a ticket. We can't afford it but it is for his mom and Chris said financially everything will work out in the end for us.

That is sad about Chris's Mom Heidi. She is lucky to have a such a great family.

It's so quiet here lately with Denine gone and Julie not posting.

Hey Barb, I have been thinking of your mom. I sure wish she could start posting again. Tell her hi.

I here! I've been busy (yeah I know, who isn't. LOL). Makenzie had a soccer game on sat and she started her indoor on sunday.

I think Denine gets home either tomorrow or thursday.

I'm trying to get my halloween costume done for friday. It's the Monster Mash at the school for Makenzie and Garry (and of course Brooke will be there too.) Makenzie is going as Jasmine from Aladdin, Garry is going as Jack Sparrow and Brooke is going as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I'm going as....wait for it........ ready.......... wait for it................................................... An Oppa Luppa (sp) from Willy Wonka! LOL!!!! There are two other moms that we all dress up and we are all going as one. It was my idea. We had to beat last year's costumes. We went as nerds and no one NO ONE knew who we were. Now either we did really good on costumes OR I'm a big nerd!! (yeah I know the answer). I will try to post pictures of both but I can't promise!

Barb, CONGRATS to Jason getting a job at home!!! I know you are soooooooo proud and thankful he'll be close to home.

Heidi, sorry to hear about your soon to be MIL. But gald to hear that you are getting to go as well. Chris is a sweetie!

Sandy, good luck with your Rockies! We knew that if we didn't win last thursday that we weren't going to win in Boston. When you are playing teams with ENORMOUS payrolls to get great players who don't crack under press (unlike the Indians). they said on Sunday that Boston spent $51 million dollars just to get the chance to TALK TALK to a Japanese baseball team about a player they have now. That's the Indian's TOTAL payroll! The Indians are 23 on the list of payrolls for baseball teams. The top 10 highest payrolls teams include New York, Boston, Angels, Chicago Soxs, Detriot Tigers. When your payroll isn't at the top, you need to take advantage of the "luck" you get when playing those teams. We choked and that's all there is too it. I will root for your Rockies!!! :cheer2: I probably not watch the series, but I will help you root for your Rockies! Beat those Soxs!!!!

Well, gonna go! I'll be back!

TTFN

Great to hear from you Julie. I EXPECT you to post pictures of the entire family in their Halloween costumes. I would love to see them. I agree with the top payroll crap with sports. I never want them to win anything. What an absolute waste of money.....51 million. Starving people, Katrina, fires in CA etc. I can think of more productive ways to spend that kind of money. I have always hated the emphasis on sports and their salaries. Just like actors, CEO's etc. It is getting out of hand.

Yay Julie, you are back posting....we missed you. Oompa Loompa will be hilarious. Are you going to be the red oompa loompa?

Can't wait for the World Series, it starts tonight!!! I will watch the entire series. I did try and get tickets but it was impossible!!

Good Morning,

I am sooo tired today. Tiffany left yesterday but ended up getting stuck in Georgia due to a cancelled flight. I was on the phone with the airline for about 2 hours and of course they did nothing. I stayed up until after 11 talking to Tiffany.

Cute costome Julie. Try real hard to post pictures. I am going to be the "Statue of Liberty" Ethan is going to be a "Munchkin"

I am so happy Jason will be staying in Denver. The distance between Denver and Colorado Springs is nothing. I will get to see them a lot. I was pretty concerned that they would have to move out of state.

Heidi-Everyone at work was trying to get World Series tickets too yesterday. No one was able to get them either. Wonder who did get them?:confused3

Poor Tiff, that wasn't good! You sure wonder who got the tickets. I think pretty much anyone that had 8 computers tied together got them. NOT A FAIR way to go. I said that at the beginning.

I am looking forward to lunch today. I get to see Lori.

Sandy-Tell Lori I said hello. what is she up to these days? Is she remarried?
How old are the kids now?

My Mom is able to read the board. I think she is still reading it. One of these days I will get over to her house and try and figure out why she can't post.

AMEN!!

HI SALLY, MISS YOU!!

Lunch was great with Lori. She is so thin and beautiful. Happy as can be. The kids are doing great. Cody is in 6th grade and Katie is a freshman. Where did the time go? She told me to tell you all hello.

I had the most gross encounter today. I was talking with one of my manager's and helping her out when she pulled out a notebook and out fell mouse droppings. We both screamed and almost died!!! She then went to grab her box of kleenix and she pulled out a hole-y tissue that the mouse ate through.

I'm with you Heidi! There was a mouse in my kitchen about a month ago when he ran out from under a veggie holder I started screaming. Ethan just looked at me like I was crazy. He followed the mouse in the pantry. Wasn't the least bit scared. me on the other hand was up on a chair by then.

Barb, that's funny. I can just visualize you up on a chair. Don't you worry, if I was there I would FIGHT you for that chair.
