October 19th Cruisers again and again...

Good morning!! These late nights/early mornings are killing me. I was at work today by 5:30 to get stuff done so I can go to Elitches tomorrow afternoon after work. We made homemade chocolate ice cream last night and it turned out pretty good. Tonight Chris has school so my mom will watch the girls until I get home and then we are going out to eat and playing some games with my parents. My sister bought the Magic Kingdom game for them and that is their favorite game right now.

Barb: Yes, Kaleigh loves school! My problem is getting her to sit still for more than 2 seconds. At least right now, everything is review so I am not really teaching anything new.

Another cool and rainy day. It rained this morning and is cool and cloudy now, supposed to rain more later. I hate being cold!

We are having fish for dinner so I used Kaleigh's recess to work on getting that ready. She is watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang right now. I have to make lunch soon.

Tomorrow I work and then we have a full week of school next week. We are planning on going to Amish on Saturday. We haven't been in a long time. Sunday, we are either going to start staining the swing set or go to the baseball game if we don't go tomorrow night.

Denine, I prefer being cold over being hot because you can always put more on but the law prohibits you from taking too much off. LOL I love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

Barb, Ethan is definitely two!! Has to go, go, go and then finally CRASH! You forgot to tell us your waking up countdown. I am so like you. I used to count until I had to get up early or how many more days of getting up early. That honestly made it worse!

Should be a good day for Elitches. It is so perfect temp wise. Now if we can keep the rain away!

This is Christmas in July at the campground. Stacey has so many activities planned. They decorate and serve a turkey meal. Have a great weekend everyone. Only 3 more days until they close on Ted's dads house.

Sandy: We are opposite. We can always find a way to cool off but there aren't enough clothes to put on to get warm!

Heidi: I hope you are enjoying your day.

Work was good b ut I don't know when I work next since the August schedule wasn't out yet.

It rained like crazy this morning! It is wanting to rain again. It thundered and sprinkled. We decided not to go to the game tonight so we bought tickets for Sunday's game. Kaleigh will get a Slider (mascot) potato head and get to run the bases after the game. Sunday's are kids fun days. Kenny Lofton is back with the team. That should help in a number of ways as long as he doesn't go back to his old attitude.

Tomorrow is a day in Amish. We plan on getting an early start.

Sandy: Speaking of Christmas in July, have you seen the Hallmark ornaments? They are so cute this year!

I probably won't get on this weekend, so until Monday...

We were suppose to go horseback riding today but they cancelled us again because of the rain last night. So now we are not sure what to do, hopefully Bear Creek stables will take us, I have a call into them.

We got caught in the rain yesterday at the amusement park. We had to take cover in the merry go round for over an hour with the bad lightening, toe merry go round ground was starting to flood, it was crazy. They finally closed the park and we got free tickets since they had to close down early. It was still raining but not as bad lightning when they closed down so we still had to walk to the Lightrail and we were soaked by the time we got home.

Denine, yes, I have seen the Hallmark ornaments. Good this year. Last year, I was kind of disappointed for the first time.

RAINY weekend! RAINY!

Tonight we had to say goodbye to Ted's dads house. I cried. Ted and his brother, Mike, were fine. So many memories up there. It made me realize that I miss his parents. Guess I am confronting some hidden emotions in the back of my mind.

It has been rainy, but that is okay because we need the rain.

Mom, I can't believe you went up there again for the last time...no way would you catch me being there, I would be crying too. Tonight is picture night!!!

Well the girls left yesterday, it was very sad. Amanda was crying, Emily was telling me she didn't want to go and I was crying. Not sure how well Chris did when he was driving back home after dropping them off.

Christmas Question!!

Can we have the gift exchange at the end of November? If some of the gifts are Christmas things it would be nice to be able to use them this year.

Barb - the girls are not going on the cruise with us because they will be in school. We promised to take them in 2009. I think it would be a great idea to have it in November. I vote for November!!!!!

Well we met with the photographer last night and signed the contract. They were great and took amazing pictures. They are very very flexible and are willing to do anything. My mom has always wanted a family picture with everyone that is casual and I asked him how much he would charge to do that for us and he said nothing, he would only charge for the prints that we would want and he would give us the CD with pictures. We also didn't want an engagement session so he knocked off $75 from the price but he said he would still want to take pictures of us at the park and he would give us the pictures on a CD for free, so we really are getting an engagement session....just not the 2 8x10's and will save $75!!!!

Heidi-Great news on the photographer! One of the most important parts of the wedding is to have good pictures.

Another busy day but only 2 more 4:30 wake ups before 3 sleep in days!

Sandy- One more thing behind you. How are you doing today?

Denine- Did you end up going to the game on Sunday? How was the Amish? I LOVED going to the Amish.

I am reading 2 books right now one is a Amish book and the other Harry Potter. I am trying to figure out what the big deal with the Harry Potter books is. Anyone read them? I was just amazed at the adults that were so excited about the movie and book coming out. Anyone read them?

Barb - I have never read Harry Potter or watched any of the movies, so I have no idea what the big craze is over Harry Potter.

I got some cute pictures of Jaymee. One of the guys she works with took her up in a plane she got to help fly it. If you want I will email you the pictures of my little girl. Let me know.
