Julie: The swing set comes today!!!!! I am not sure who is more excited, me or Kaleigh. It is nice and solid so Jerry and I can also go on it.

Yes, we got one of the wooden ones. It is Amish made.

Barb: See? The tea party was wonderful! The pirate party should be fun. I just need to know the parts to shield Kaleigh from before we go see it.

Jerry never got the lawn aerated. THey had a devil of a time getting it in the Rendezvous. It fit, but JErry realized I would never be able to help him get it out or back in; not with my back. So, the lawn will wait. We did go to the garden center and I got the pots for the front of my house planted. It never happened last year. Kaleigh and I went to Home Depot this morning and I bought herbs and tomatoes and 2 perennials for my shade garden. I planted all that stuff when we got home. The herbs are in a pot by the front steps too.

Sandy: That sounded like a ton of work. I am with you, hire someone to shred it all. THen you can just use it as mulch.

Julie: Hope Garry makes it through his "situation"., whatever it is.

Barb: I think Jerry is counting down the days until we go back and it is very close! I sent a link to our photo pass photos. Didn't I send you one? If not, I will send you one.

I think that is it for now at least until the swing set comes!

Barb- three words...I love you!!! You are so funny!!

Nothing exciting here...closed on the house yesterday . Still have no idea what is wrong with Tyler...he gets a high fever for 2-3 days, no other symptoms besides being upset and then he is fine for 4-5 days and then we start over. If it happens again next week, I am taking him back to the doctor and telling them to draw blood. There has to be something wrong.

Can I tell how excited I am to get this camping season over with!!!!! No offense mom and Heidi but I am tired of all the problems and having to deal with everyone going behind my back and talking to Bonnie. It is so frustrating!!! If they only gave me a chance to deal with the problem!! And it's not even that big...the Activity Directors put out a calendar and forgot to include the potluck for tomorrow (not like there is anybody here though) and she did a monthly calendar and put hamburgers every Fri. night....no big deal...we can fix it!!!

I am buying my maid of honor dress for my friend's wedding. It is actually pretty cute. I'll see if I can post the address.

Stacey - that sounds horrible....how do members still have access to Bonnie? I think Rich needs to step up to his mom and tell her to stop getting involved and give you guys a chance and Bonnie should tell the members to go to you and not solve the problem behind your back. I'm sorry, I understand why you want it to go fast. I want it to go fast too because then we will be on the cruise!!!

I finally applied for my passport. It will be here no later than August 22nd!!! Thank goodness we did it now since we leave September 14th. The guy kept pushing us to pay over $100 more to expedite but I knew we would have enough time so I said no and he kept pushing us. Chris finally said I rather save the hundred dollars and use it for the trip instead of paying for our passports to get her 2 weeks earlier!!!

Hang in there Stacey the changing of leadership is always a difficult transition for people. Some people will make you earn their respect. Although not fair it is human nature. Once they see that you are capable and will not crumble they will come around. You are still pretty new so they are feeling like a sense of their own security is gone. Always show a confident front even when you are crying on the inside. If Bonnie gives you a hard time POP HER!

Just got back from lunch now I am not feel very well.

Tiffany and I have been having a balloon war. Part of Ethans birthday decorations was a balloon bouquet with a mylar "Cars" balloon. All the other balloons are long gone but this one mylar. It has been floating all over the house. It is pretty freaky to go into your bedroom and see this balloon hanging out there when you just saw it somewhere else an hour ago. Well anyway Tiffany was complaining about the balloon so one night after she was in bed I sneaked in her room and put the balloon over her head. The next day it was in my closet so I stuck it in her pillows on her bed so when she walked into her room 4 eyeballs were staring at her. (Mator and McQueen are on the balloon) I woke up yesterday with the balloon by my bed so last night after she went to bed I tied the balloon on her door knob. I laughed all the way down the hall at my brilliant idea. I wanted to stay up all night until she opened her door and the balloon came flinging at her Oh my goodness I am laughing just thinking about how funny I am Well she just called me and said she was watching scary show in her room last night, paused it to go to the bathroom and opened up her door and the balloon did its job well. Boy is she ever lucky to have a Mom like me!

Well another day another dollar to bad it takes 3 dollars to drive home! Now it is time to start plotting my next balloon attack.

I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO P***** RIGHT NOW I CAN'T SEE STRAIGHT!!! We leave in 2 WEEKS TO THE DAY FOR DISNEY! Today I get a call from Cheryl (Anna Marie's mom) saying she didn't know we were leaving on the 5th until today (which is hog wash because the night of AnnaMarie's concert on the 11th of May, she said so you guys are leaving the 5th? Anna Marie's last day is the 7th. I told her well Anna Marie said it wasn't a problem). SO Cheryl tells me I have to call the school and get special permission from the principal so Anna Marie can change her finals around so she can leave on the 5th with us. You see, the week of the 4th is finals and she wouldn't be in school for the entire time and they have the option of picking what days for the finals (at least that is what Anna Marie told us). SO, I talked to her principal who gets a little attitude with me saying that the school doesn't like to change finals because then parents "all the time" would schedule vacations early. I told him that this was the first time this has happened because AnnaMarie has always gotten out of school before ours. SO, after dealing with him, he says he would write her a note and she can pick it up in the morning and then have her teacher reschedule the finals. No problem right, WRONG!


NOW, back when I got the tickets (IN JANUARY) we had no clue when her last day was. Last year and all the previous years Anna Marie has ALWAYS gotten out of school at LEAST 2 - 3 days EARLIER then my kids. SO with that in mind (and since we didn't see Anna Marie for the time when I made the airline ressies) we booked the flight for OUR kids last day of school (plus it was $200 cheaper to go on Tuesday then any other day). SO, back in feb I tell Anna Marie that I got the tickets and she says we don't get out until the 7th. I ask her if it would be a problem if she left on the 5th and she said she didn't think so and I told her to make sure. NOW, while all this is going on, she makes the Buckeye Girls State thing-a-ma-gig (week long mock government political science stuff that she really isn't into, but mom said it would look good on a resume) and we find out that it's during the time we are in disney! Well, they did move the date for this thing so Anna Marie would leave on the 17th instead of the 20th which was fine since she was going with us on the 5th. Everything good right, WRONG!!!

SO NOW I tell Anna Marie about what her assistant principal said and the first thing out of her mouth is " I don't know what I'm going to do! In Math we are learning new things next week that's going to be on the final. I don't know what I'm going to do!" At this point after dealing with her asst. principal and her mother (who says I have to take 3 kids on the highway on Tuesday 5th to meet you guys by 12pm She babysits them. This is from the bimbo who told me when I told her when my kids were little that I didn't like going on the hightway with them and she thought I was just being silly! NICE THAT she cares sooooooooooooooo much for my kids!) I BLEW UP! I said that if she is worried about her finals then here is your e ticket number and your fequent flyer number and change your ticket. You can pay the extra $ to change it. I had no problem change her return flight and paying for it, but now forget it!

2 weeks before we go and they pull this stuff! Anna Marie didn't have a problem with our leaving date for 4 months but NOW there's a problem!

Sorry just had to vent!

I guess I'm over reacting.

Oh man Julie, why are they always pulling this stuff???????? I hope it gets straightened out.

The swing set is here, 2 hours late, but it is here. Jerry just went up to Home Depot to see if he could find something to use the ratchet attachment on the drill.

We start work on it tomorrow after dinner.

JULIE, YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO FEEL THE WAY YOU DO !!! What a mess. I feel so bad for you! And I remember having the conversation with you about YOU doing the driving on the highway when you had the little ones. I am so sorry this is happening only two weeks away.

Julie - that is horrible. I would be frustrated too, I don't think you are overreacting. Hugs to you. If that happened to me I would be breathing flames because I know how much time it takes to set up trips without anyone wanting to help and then they change it at the end when I asked for their input in the beginning so it wouldn't happen!!!

Barb - your balloon story made me laugh!! I remember playing tricks on Rich like that.

I'm so sorry Julie, how frustrating. I like your solution of here is the ticket change the date yourself! that is what I would have done to. Good choice!

Well the balloon is in Tiffany's shower. When she opens the curtain there he will be. heeheeheehee I just wish I was going to be there. The door knob was the best though

It is BEAUTIFUL out right now! It is 85 and sunny!

I am sure I will be joining the sore back club once we start putting the swing set together.

We are finally getting DSL. Jerry called today! We will get reimbursed from Jerry's work since he works from home.

Julie: You think you have problems with Miss Brooke! Kaleigh left the house yesterday while she was supposed to be taking a nap. I was laying down because I was expecting to start work on the swing set and I wanted my back well rested. She put on her sandles, helped herself to a popsicle, opened the garage door and went outside. We found her across the street playing with Jennifer, her babysitter. She was very quite about the whole thing. She was NOT a happy camper when we found her! We are constantly telling her not to leave our sight. To tell us if she is going some place, and she does this. I am sure the gray hairs will start popping up anytime now!
