Heidi, we are cross posting everywhere. Hello!

Denine, we must have cross posted this morning. I just noticed your post. I would LOVE to have your recipe for a crab appetizer. I love crab!!!!

Sandy, I totally forgot to thank you for our Christmas gift. It was all sooooooooooooooooo wonderful! We got an Antigua pirate ornament, a St. Lucia ornament of raindeer in a canoe, a Jiminy Cricket ornament to always remember my big sis and then we got a fun gift. Now I opened up the "goodie" gift in this order..... first we opened hershey kisses and then we opened marshmellows. The next gift was a box of pound cake. Now you all should have seen our faces after that one. We thought "is she trying to tell us something?" LOL!!! Then we opened the cutiest hershey kiss shaped fondue pot!!! We loved everything!!!!! The kids thought it was the greatest! Thank you thank you!!

Heidi, what color dress are you looking at? Just my two cents, but IF you are going white white, I would maybe go with the purplish color scheme. The Pearl pink my get washed out in the pictures with a white dress. The pearl pink looks awesome with ivory or eggshell colored dress. I'm a BIG BIG pink person though! If you decide on the pearl pink (there are many shades of that color) have a girl try on a dress in that color (doesn't have to be the same dress that they are going to wear in the wedding, but it doesn't hurt either) and stand next to you ( in your dress or one that MIGHT be the one) in the bridal store. I would do that with both colors. That might help even more.

Well, Makenzie does have an ear infection AND swimmers ear!!! The doctor beleives that when she took her latest bath, she put her head under the water and that's how she got it. Big Garry is taking Aleve for the pain in his foot. Tomorrow we are going with his father to his cancer doctor's appt. This will be the day the he will find out EXACTLY how bad it is and when we will start the treatments. School starts back tomorrow too. The kids seem to be eager to go back, but Makenzie keeps saying she doesn't want to and then she gets excited about what she is going to wear and everything.

Gonna go. I have to get the last load of laundry in before I head off to bed. All of my decorations are down except for the tree which I will work on this week. It's sad, but a the same time, good.

HI Barb, Sally and Jeanne!

Denine, I'd like the recipe too!

TTFN

Barb - Did you make it home safely?

Julie - I hope your kids get to feeling better. Once again a great idea to try on the girls colored dresses and have them stand next to me. If I chose a pearl pink, the other color I want is like a magenta. Maybe I can have the dress in that color, like this:

Well we made it back home safe and sound. We had a really good time and Patti out did herself with my Christmas gifts....she gave me a diamond necklace, an Ebson photo developer and an electric shaver. The kids gave Dick money to buy a bike so he can ride inside. All and all we had a great Christmas.:santa:

I have been having a miserable start for the new year. Something is wrong with my knee and I couldn't even walk into the house when we got home last night. Dick had to help me and I went straight to bed because I was feeling so lousey and it was only a little after 4. I ran a fever all night and coughed. I guess being around all the people on the cruise and in Hobbs that were sick caught up with me. I had been taking Airborn and that kept me from getting sick and I didn't take it the last couple days and it hit me on the way home. The way the year is starting I must be going to have a great year.

I wanted to start my spring cleaning but I am going to stay off my knee for a few days and see if that helps. I have to get my spring cleaning done so I can work out in the yard and have it pretty much done since we are going to Disneyworld in April.

Happy New Year everyone!

Good Morning
Back to work today. Yipeeeee. I actually feel pretty guilty about taking some time off. I feel like I let my team down.

Driving to work to today was a little stressful. Most of the roads were dry but every now and then there are patch's of ice. Some of the Springs only has a little snow then a little ways away there is several inches. To get to our house the snow is over a foot deep with one lane carved out. The side streets are still a mess.

I am really dreading taking all the Christmas stuff down and repacking. It takes me about 2 weeks to get everything up and just as long to get it down. I didn't decorate my trees much this year and left a lot of stuff packed but everytime I look around my house I see lots of work!

Welcome home Barb and Sally!

Heidi: The dresses are adorable. I didn't have jr. bridesmaids or a flower girl or ring bearer. There weren't any kids to do it. I really wanted sapphire blue for the maids, but didn't like any of the dresses. I chose burgandy instead.

No school today. Kaleigh woke up feeling miserable. Her cold has peaked. No fever though.

Julie: Did you ever look at the dates and prices for the ice show?

Trying to decide if we can afford to go to my uncles burial in Arlington, VA on Monday. I did find a hotel for $67, which is very good. WIll see what Jerry says.

Going to see Charlottes Web tonight as long as Kaleigh is up to it.

Julie: Don't you love the get togethers where the kids get sick? Hope everything goes OK with Garry's dad.

Crab Rangoon:
1 can (6 oz.) white crabmeat, drained, flaked
4 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
1/4 cup light mayo
12 won ton wrappers

preheat oven to 350. Mix everything together, except wrappers.

Spray 12 medium muffin cups with cooking spray. Gently place 1 wrapper in each cup, allowing edges to extend above sides of cups. FIll evenly with mixture.

Bake 18-20 minutes or until edges are golden bronw and filling is heated through. Serve warm. Garnish with chopped green onion.

(I doubled the recipe. I also used the mini muffin tins when I made them on Monday since my larger muffin tin was dirty. They were smaller, but made more. I baked them the same amount of time.)

Sandy: I don't know how I did weight wise. We will weigh ourselves next week. I did however, lose 6 pounds the week before. I don't know how.

Denine - the recipe sounds so good, I wil have to try that...it sounds so simple and yummy!!!

Barb and Sally - Glad you made it back, we were worried about you.

Sally - I hope you feel better soon, doesn't sound like much fun.

Denine, that sounds sooooo yummy. Thanks. I already copied it over to my cookbook. I didn't have jr.bridesmaids, flower girl or ring bearer either.

Julie, you are very welcome. I figured you needed a "fun" family gift after everything you guys are going through. I love all your tips especially about having someone stand next to Heidi in the pearl pink. What was the news on Garry's dad? Poor Makenzie! I remember:rotfl: waaaayyy back when how painful ear infections are. Bless her heart. Hope the advil works for Garry's foot. As you and I both know, it justs masks it for awhile.

Barb and Sally, we really missed you guys. We were soooo worried about your drive BOTH ways.

Sally, I am so sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Keep taking airborn. It supposedly helps reduce the symptoms and duration. Keep us posted on your knee.

Barb, you didn't let your team down. You earned your vacation just like everyone else did.

We developed a roof problem since the snowstorm. We put up a new gutter in the fall. For the very first time we got HUGE icicles in the front and it ruined our fascia (sp). So we called the gutter people and they came out today. They are blaming the roofers from 3 or 4 years ago. My question is WHY NOW?? Guess we have to call the insurance co now. They had us use a roofer that is out of Texas and no longer working here. They only came out to help because of the big hailstorm. There just wasn't enough roofers. I just realized that there is a theme here. COLORADO WEATHER caused lots of problems.

So far I worked two days in 2007 and both days have been really great work days:dance3:. I hope 2007 is going to be a really good year!

HEIDI: Love the dresses. Still waiting to know what date you two picked:groom: :bride: My daughter had periwinkle blue and my daughter-in-law had a red and black (two bridesmaids in black, two in red). It was really different but the reception looked beautiful with the red.

DENINE: Your recipe sounds delicious:stir:

BARB: So glad your are home safe and sound.

SANDY: Thank you for your thank you:thanks:

JULIE: You ARE the wedding planner. Hope Mackenzie feels better.

Tomorrow night Bonnie and I are going to a club called "Adelphia" to listen to her son's band "Don't Call Me Francis":rockband: . It should be really fun.

I am off to the Poconos at the end of the month and hopefully going skiing but we have NO snow:cold: :cold: :cold:

Hope you all have a Nifty Night. Toodles:wave2: :genie: :mickeyjum JEANNE

Jeanne - Chris and I were really aiming for August 2007, but there is just no way possible. So it will have to be summer 0f 2008, either June or August. My best friend and my mom reminded me that June is a pretty rainy/hail month for Denver so it may end up August 2008.

I forgot to add that yesterday I told my ex-boyfriend's dad that I am engaged. I was with his son for almost 5 years. He was suprised and his voice cracked and he had tears in his eyes. I felt so bad, I guess he really still hoped that his son and I could end up together and that I would be his DIL.

Good morning everyone.

It is to be 56 today. Can't wait. Guess it was in the 50s yesterday but it just didn't feel like it. Tomorrow they are talking about snow. Last night they said 1-2 inches but this morning they said we could be looking at several inches. Gosh, we still have tons of snow. Tons!

Jeanne, I talked to Bonnie last night. She is really looking forward to tonight with you. Should be a fun evening. As far as Poconos, you could ship some of our snow your way OR BETTER YET, COME OUT HERE AND SKI. Ted and Heidi would go with you in a heartbeat!!

Hello all!

Kaleigh and I ended up doing school yesterday. Around noon she felt better and wanted to, so we did. Today we started a big project. It will take 3 days of school to complete. It is a mural of a forest and then we add animals.

I have a doctors appointment for my back today. I think that last injection actually helped. It doesn't hurt at all like it did.

We are planning on going to my uncle's funeral. We need to make the hotel reservations today. We will leave on Saturday and come home on Monday after the service. We will probably take in the zoo or a museum on Sunday. There is a dinner Sunday evening.

We saw Charlotte's Web last night. It was really cute.

We are going to dinner at Chef Mickey's on my birthday. Jerry made the ressies today.

Jeanne: Have fun with Bonnie!

Sandy: I hope some of your snow melts before you get more. It is supposed to rain here tonight and tomorrow. Sorry about your roof problems!

What a week!! My kids have finally decided that they are ready for only one nap...I'm not though!!! Oh well. They are actually doing really well with it..not too cranky. My "alone time" has gone down to only an hour though which makes it tough to get online, study, cook and do everything else. I think I am going to have to take an hour a couple times a week at night to get caught up on things. Plus I need to get my act together and cook one day for the entire month again..that will save me a ton of time.

Denine- so glad to hear that your back is at least doing a little better since the injection.

Heidi- what's going on with Sunday?

Barb/Sally- glad to hear you made it back safely. What do you think about next Friday Barb to swap Pampered Chef stuff???

Got to go. Trying to get as much done as I possibly can. Today is a REALLY different day. We went shopping this morning and they fell asleep in the truck. They are upstairs sleeping already. We will see how this afternoon goes with such an early nap.

Denine, glad to hear that the injection worked. It is so cool that Kaleigh likes school enough to want to do it when she isn't up to par yet. Where is your Uncle's funeral again?

Stacey, I was going to meet Barb with you but you might have to go without me next Friday because Bonnie is coming in that day. She hasn't booked it yet so I don't know exactly what time. She thought around noon. I was wondering if you want to have a game night that Fri or Sat. with everyone. Not sure of her schedule because she will probably want to meet up with a friend of hers that moved to CO this last fall.

Stacey - not sure what's going on. I guess I was waiting on what you wanted to do since you have to schedule around Joey and Tyler. I will call you.

Denine - watch out for the birds in Chef Mickey's. Don't get pooped on like me!!!

Good Afternoon

Phew I have been busy today. My calls have been very complex today. Plus I am working on getting my newsletter out for Missionettes and getting back up to speed with lesson plans.

Stacy- I have a hair appointment on Friday January 12th at 11:00 it will take 3 hours. BLAH! But will be free after that if that works for you. Will Patty's part be in by then?

Denine-What were your exact dates for Disney? Ours are April 22nd to May 3rd. I changed our hotel to Saratoga since it is soooo many less points. I would much rather stay at the Beach Club but will want to save the points for next Christmas. I have made several reservations, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys and Cinderella's table. Do you want to try and meet up while we are there??

I brought my 2 color schemes to work that I am debating on which one to uses for my wedding colors, and so far 5 out of 7 people liked the purple better!!!! The other 2 said I should use the pink if I get married in June and the purple if I get married in August!!!! I can't wait to show Stacey and see what she says.

You know what Heidi....that sounds kind of good. The pink in June or purple in Aug. Glad it's you and not ME!!

Barb, I want to travel like you. Always planning. I do it once a year. Poor me!

Out shopping today for baby presents. One nurse we work with is having her third and one of the nurses aide is going to be a "Grandmom" - both boy babies!

HEIDI: At least you gave me some idea about the date:groom: :bride: . I would love to ski Colorado (I am a terminal intermediate skiier) but I can barely afford to DRIVE:car: to the Poconos. I did ask Bonnie if she wanted to join me in the Poconos and my friend Mary is going up three days with me. Joyce is working.

SANDY: I only wish I could get out there with Bonnie to see you guys:grouphug: I can't wait until tonight. It should be fun, fun, fun:dance3: :dancer:

BARB: You are ALWAYS busy!

DENINE: You tell my Kaleigh that I said "yes, yes, yes"

Hope you all have a marvelous evening. Miss you all:grouphug: Toodles:wave: :mickeyjum :smickey: JEANNE
