WOW!!! Only two posts only today! Yeah for Susan who can post on vacation!!! Garry bought a personal PC (hand-held) so we will be able to post when we go on vacation too from now on!!!

Nothing new here except Makenzie graduated from Safety Town today. It is that 2 week course for kids to learn about all sorts of saftey issues from fire, to stranger danger. It's good for them.

Kids aren't winning here this weekend. Two losses but great efforts. The coach awarded the game puck for the first game to Turner. He played great!! Looks like we will only have one mjore game and it is at 8:40 in the morning. Since we won't be in the championship game, we will probably check out in the morning and start heading to the outer banks. I may not have internet access then; we'll have to wait and see.

Special note to Bonnie and Jeannie - we may play one last tournament in Philly tyhe weekend of the 24th. If we do, can you come visit us??????? Pleeeeaaassssseeee!!!!! Everyone else is also welcome to visit but it wouldn't be very close to you! I'll know more about this tournament in a day or 2.

SUE: Would love to go to the Tournament but I just looked at my work calendar & wouldn't you know it both Joyce & I work July 24th & 25th. We only work every third weekend but it is always the weekend that there is something to do! Now Bonnie has EVERY weekend off but now she has the "CHICAGO CONNECTION".

DENINE: I started wash last night & it still continues this AM....

Off to an antique car show with Bobby & possibly my cousin this afternoon. It should be really fun. They are supposed to have over 700 old cars. Bobby has a 1952 Buick that he is going to restore (still in Virginia) but he is so busy I don't know when he thinks he'll have time to do that! Hope you all have a fun-filled weekend. If you come you can bring Lord Stanley and I will be more than happy to dog sit at my house!!! When Glenn reads this he will chuckle ...he knows how much I love dogs. Of Perditta would be bent out of shape but she would survive. I really do hope you all get here I would love to see you guys!!! I would love to see Turner play hockey!!

So much for a quiet Friday night. Pam called at work...she wanted to go to a sidewalk restaurant since it was so nice out. Despite being tired I agreed. We ended up with "the beautiful people" eating at one of the places to be seen on the sidewalk on Rittenhouse Square. It was nice but not my cup of tea...Pam likes to pretend she is one of the wealthy yuppies whereas I prefer to be plain old me. I did have fun though...the firemen were out in the street collecting for Jerry's kids...MDA. One of them had his name plastered across his butt so I kept calling his name. He finally came over and of course I dropped a few bucks in his boot. Later they drove by on the firetruck ...he was the tillerman on the ladder truck and I yelled "hey Morris!"...he blew me a kiss. Of course all the 'beautiful people' were mortified that I was sitting there yelling at the firemen! I enjoyed it.
I forgot to say I did this after having 2 ...yes 2 key liime cosmo's...MMMM! Better than bushwakers and obviously have the same effect on me!

Off to the Haddonfield craft fair tomorrow...yuk...more yuppies but at least they take their dogs!

We had a showing yesterday. They seemed to like the house and yard even though I forgot to take down my bras from the laundry room. They were drying.

Hello, hello, hello. Just checking in. We are back from what we are labeling as vacation but honestly only had ONE day to ourselves and that was Friday with Heidi. We are headed up to Ted's dad's house to get it ready for his "homecoming".
We have to get it handicap ready. We also have to do some MAJOR cleaning. He has become a pack rat in his older years and will have to figure out what to do. Ted will work on his gravel road which has been washed out a tad due to all the rain that we are having. So much to do in so little time. He will PROBABLY be released this Thurs or Fri.

Bonnie, I LOVE to spend other peoples money. I really am a PRO at it. Hope your headache is better. Your trip to the restaurant was so YOU!

Susan, how fun to be able to read what is going on with you while on vacation. Sure wish I was Bonnie and could meet you in Phili!!

Denine, I loved your bra story. That is somthing that I would do!

Barb, I would love to make plans with you but I have to wait until we get Ted's dad situated. Please give Sally our love. Hope she is doing better!

Jeanne, am I excited?? Did you have to ask?? I think that Heidi will be joining us on the cruise. We are all having such a horrible summer and I think that a cruise is just what the dr ordered. And......with all the perks from Faith, WOW! Can we go NOW??

The weekend went by TOOOOO fast. The car show was great but it was very hot! I am starting to really become heat sensitive. Back to work Monday & Tuesday for 12 hours & then I work again Friday. It is a busy week. I have a few appointments for check-ups.

Julie, don't you EVER worry about me forgetting this group. What we are here is family not just "old cruisers". So much different than the other groups could ever be! The perks are: getting on before everyone else. In other words as it has been put, we don't have to wait in the "cattle line" to board. Palo ressies are made like high tea and brunch. I still want to make dinner ressies for Ted and I however. Don't think I will ask Faith to do it. Spa ressies could be made IF we wanted them but we aren't interested. We are going to have a late night dinner in Faith's suite with the Palo menu and one morning in the suite for breakfast. Wish you were going too Julie! Maybe next time!! Yea, go ahead and hide in 5520's closet and we will let you out when we arrive. If it gets too crowded in our room just break the family up and some go over to Jeanne and Joyce's closet in 5020.

I've missed you all. I am happy to be back.

Good bra story Denine!!! You had me laughing out loud, that would be my mom's luck.

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early from the campground. I think it was because of my dad and this weekend that led me to really consider the October cruise!!! Now I just have to check out airfare and mom has to check into Ron Jons to see how much I have to pay.

Julie - you can get off the boat if you can't find a way to hide on the ship and I will bring some suitcases that I can hide you in.

The open house was a flop. Only 3 people came and 1 left as soon as they found out it didn't have a basement. The Other 2 were "tire kickers" as our agent calls them.

The couple that came by the other evening passed on the house. They said it was because of the turnpike, but maybe it was really my bras! We do have a showing this evening. The price of the house is lowered as of today.

We ordered our new sofa, chair and ottoman yesterday.

Sandy: It sounds like once you get Ted's dad settled back in his house, things will really quiet down. Too bad your vacation wasn't what you hoped it would be.

Heidi: You should definitely go on the cruise!

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a nice time even though you thought it was too warm.

Hi All! Just checking in! Nothing exciting going around here. Took Anna Marie back to her mom's tonight. She won't be back until next week sometime. We are trying to get her mom to OK her to go on our cruise with us, but she is being a poo head and is having a problem with her missing 5 days of school. She's a very good student and between Garry and I, we have 4 college degrees and one of them is my teaching degree!! Like she won't have help with her school work (if they give her any) on the ship! Sometimes I have a VERY HARD TIME liking that woman! (I use that term loosely!!!) We are still working on her though!

Sandy, I know that we are family, it's just sad for me that we aren't on the same cruise. I hope we all can travel again on another cruise (including Faith!!!! She is one of us since our last chat!!!) The people we are cruising with seem nice, but they are not the same as all of you! It will seem VERY ODD without all of my disney family with us!

***Brooke Updates........... She just turned 6 months and she has been crawling since she was 5 1/2 months. SHe sits up by her self and does it after she has been crawling! She is trying to clap her hands together, but we haven't figured out that you must open you hands not keep them in fists to do it. She cut her first tooth on Thursday! At her doctor's appointment on Sat. she said that Brooke is extremely advanced for her age. She said that she will talking and walking at an early age. She is keeping me on my toes! And boy does she LOVE daddy!

Awww Brooke sounds like such a sweetheart. My best friend has a 7 month old and we beg him to crawl, he is a scooter!!! Babies are so much fun (especially when I can spoil them and send them back to their parents)!! Thats too bad Anna Marie may not be able to go on the cruise...hopefully her mom will come around and realize how great a vacation can be for her DD.

I found cheap airfare...$183 but I am not sure if I can make it to the airport from the ship. My plane would take off at 11:30. Do you think I can make it?

WOW, is it ever noisy here. A neighbor must be re-roofing. Gosh, it started very early.

Heidi, let's see. If you get off the ship, 8 or 8:30 and it takes 45 min to get to the airport, plus you have to check in 45 min prior that makes it around 10:00. That gives you around 1 1/2 hour to check in and go through security. Also, you would more than likely need Disney transfers so that would give you some time to wait for the bus to fill. I think it could be tight but probably could be done. What does the rest of you think?

Julie, Brooke is doing sooo good bless her heart. I will cross my fingers that Anna Marie can make it. Sometimes teachers see a vacation out of the country as a learning experience. Maybe the ex should at least talk to the teacher.

Today is the first day I get Graci back. Noah started kindergarden since I left so I won't get him again until August. He has a very crazy school schedule. He goes for like 3 or 4 weeks and then gets 3 or 4 weeks off. His track system is HORRIBLE!

Worked on Ted's dads house until 8:30 last night. I am pooped. But good TV tonight. Hopefully we stay home. Amazing race and Big Brother is on.

Patty/Patti are you out there?? You haven't surfaced for a long time. Krista? Laurie, are you still on the same cruise as us??

I am ready to give up on selling this house. We had a young couple come last night. They loved the house, but it doesn't have a basement. We have been married almost 13 years and have never had a basement! I am soo tired of hearing that!

Julie: Brooke has all those older siblings to keep up with. HOw could she not be advanced?

Heidi: You should be able to make it back to the airport for that flight.

Sue must not have internet access where she is now, or, she is too busy doing nothing!
