I finally decided that I am working from home tomorrow. Instead of battling the weather I planned ahead and emailed all my work to myself at home so I can be safe and sound working from my home!!! I am sure I will get a lot more done that way without all the interuptions.

Stace - I can trick her again for you, I would be happy to do that for you since it is my dum dum coworkers who are being not so nicce...but it will have to be on Tuesday since we get Monday off.

So the temperature outside is 0!!!

I like working from home, I already have 2 out of the 3 position descriptions classified. It usually takes me 1 day to get one done, but without all the interuptions it is amazing how much I can do.

It is just plain cold outside!! We only got a dusting so far so I don't think we are going to get much out of this storm besides really cold weather.

Barb- were you able to make it to your appt. today??

Heidi- it's amazing how much work you can get done without interruptions, isn't it?

Where's everybody else? Does anyone have any reccommendations on what to put on really dry skin? Tyler has really bad chapped cheeks, poor guy. I've just tried about everything from regular lotion, lubriderm, vaseline, aquafor and a ton of others. The doctor reccommended a specific lotion to try but nobody carrries it here. I would have to order it and it costs over $20 for 4 oz!!! Little steep for us right now on a really tight budget.

Anyway, have to go study. Bonnie is probably landing right about now. I might try to go over to my mom's house and visit for awhile, only if the roads aren't bad though. I don't want to take J & T out with the colds in the nasty cold with yucky roads so we will see.

Denine-Sounds like it was a nice trip. You are sure doing a great job with Kaleigh's school! What are your dates for Disney? Do you still want to meet up for dinner?? We will be there from April 22nd to May 3rd? Any chance you will do the Panama Cruise next year if there is one??

I'd love to meet up with you guys for a bite to eat. We are there from April 24th through May 3rd. No, no Panama cruise for us next year.

I just want to say that the next time we go to DC, I don't want the flags to be at half-staff. The first time we went, it was because of the Capitol police officers that were killed. This time because of President Ford.

I am making bean soup today. I have that nice ham bone from NYE.

Supposed to get cold here. It is raining now.

Heidi: I know Jerry gets a lot more work done at home than at work.

Barb: I just have to tell you again how much I love our Mickey statue!

WOrk was frustrating yesterday. I hate not going in every week. I feel like I don't know what is going on with anyone. At least I work again next Friday, then who knows.

Good Morning

I am in the process of cleaning and organizing my basement. I can not even put my Christmas stuff away until I can organize the basement. Jaymee packed up her room so ALL her stuff is down here along with some of Missy, Jaymee and Even Jason's. I need to start charging storage fee's!

Denine-Glad you like your Christmas gift. I was wondering if you had opened it. We are going to be in Disney almost the exact same dates. Meeting up would be fun!!

Stacy- I will book a party towards the end of May. I will be back from vacation, have Tiffany home and my yard planted by then. I like the interactive parties. I will give it some thought to see what I can come up with.

I am on my way to Denver to see "Phantom of the Opera" Hope the roads are not bad. We did not get much snow here and the sun is out. It sure is COLD

Denine- so sorry about work...that has to be very frustrating.

Barb- have fun at the Phantom of the Opera! I went last year when it was in town...it was a good show. I would love to do another show for you whenever you are ready.

We went to my parent's house last night to see Bonnie. We had a good time playing games. I think their plans for today was to go see a friend of Bonnie's in Colo. Springs. The rest of us are meeting up at Cici's and having dinner together. I just got done cooking a month's worth of meals so I am not ready to make dinner tonight!!

Barb: I had posted before that I opened the gift and loved it. I guess you missed that one. Enjoy the show. I have heard it is very good.

Glad Bonnie and everyone is having a good time.

My house smelled like bean soup ALL day. I guess that is what happens when you simmer a ham bone for 4 hours! We will have it sometime this week. I needed to chill it so I could skim the fat off the top.

Tomorrow Jerry has off so we will take down the tree. Everthing else is down including the outside decorations.

I am actually up to date getting my pictures in albums! Of course, I have 5 more rolls of film that need to be developed from theis past weekend.

I have been battling a sinus headache for a few days now. I am really tired of it!

Stacey: Where do you put all that food you cook for a month? I don't have the freezer space.

Once all the Christmas stuff is put away, I need to finish my continuing education hours. I have a bunch ready to to do, haven't had any time. We also need to get to Jerry's moms to help her clean out the basement. I also want to paint the dining room, foyer and hallways upstairs and down. I guess the rest of of the winter is planned out already!

Enjoyed your post. We met way back in 2002 and have been friends ever since. This thread has gone through several changes by the mods.

Bonnie and I are having a blast. We went sledding with Heidi, Chris and his girls, my niece and nephew and Ted. Had a great time. Heidi will have to post pics. We met up with Stacey and her family for dinner at Cici's. NJ doesn't have Cici's so I am not sure that OH does either. It is a pizza buffet. The pizza is ok but the desserts are the best. Cinnamon rolls and brownings. Mmmmmm.

I didn't say anything about going to the Springs because I wasn't sure of the weather. And of course, we aren't going to make it anyway. Bonnie was wanting to see Barb and Sally. I told her that there is always NEXT time.

It is snowing again. We are to get 1-3 more inches and Barb is suppose to get something like 3-6.

Denine- I do some major "cleanup" of the freezer where it is completely empty by the time I get ready to cook. Plus I only cook about 15 meals, considering I am really only cooking for 3 of us since Joey and Tyler really don't eat much.

Had a good time at Cici's. I think I invited my family myself but oh well. We took up half the restaurant pretty much. My aunt was there, the one who just lost her dad so it was nice to see and love on her. Chris's girls were psyched that Joey and Tyler were there. Each girl took one baby...they thought they were pretty cool, it was really cute!

Richard is putting in a new kitchen faucet for us right now...I am so excited because the other one is just about dead. Now we just need a new dishwasher!!

Sandy, tell Bonnie I would have loved to see her but it is a good thing she didn't come. I got sick Friday, Saturday and just started feeling better today....I guess I caught wherever my grandaughter has...coughing, fever and losing my voice.

It sure is cold out....l0 degrees the last time I looked.

I am sooo cold. I sit right beside an entire wall of windows. When I was driving to work this moring they said it was 8 below. I don't mind the snow but do not like this cold.

Finally got our 5 Christmas trees down over the weekend. Lots of stuff to still pack up but at least the trees are down.

We cancelled Missionettes last night. I was sure glad I did not have to go out. I am really dreading our utility bill next month.

Haven't gotten to talk to Jaymee yet. She called crying and left a message.
I am torn between feeling bad for her and being so frustrated that she would not listen to me when I told her to take more time and think about this decision.

Why would you think that when you and I were the ones that made the original plans to go to CiCi's? That doesn't make sense to me. How can you invite yourself but was one of the original people to make the plans?

Good job trying to hide that you were coming to the Springs.

Okay I must have missed something here. Why would you think that she was trying to hide something? It was a definite plan not to go to the Springs because of the weather since the weather report came out for the weekend since Monument Hill is always so bad. How could she hide something that they weren't going to do?

Where is Cici's? There is one in New Mexico where Jason use to live. He really liked it. I didn't think there were any in Colorado. Denver seems to have everything.

Barb, Jaymee told me she has been thinking about joining the Air Force since she was in high school so she had plenty of time to think about it. As for her crying that was to be expected...she cries very easy and I doubt if there is anyone who doesn't cry or feel like crying that is in basic. Jason did and after basic he was fine. Just try and be happy for her and don't be a I told you so mom. She is going to need encourgement to get through the next 5 weeks.

I had to drown myself in lotion after my shower this morning....my skin is getting so dry..must be because the furnace is on all the time. I love snow but don't really care for this freezing weather and I am in the house all the time. This winter has been unsual all over the country....wonder what summer is going to bring....can hardly wait!
