I'm glad that some people actually posted!!!! My mom thought I scared you all away by pretend fighting with her. :flower1: :flower:

Sorry mom for being mean. I love you.

Still snowing here, not much accumulation though and the roads weren't all that icy this morning. I wish I had a garage, I hate scaping my car 2 times in one day. One to go to work and once to leave from work.

Susan - I am so jealous of your weather, time to come visit you!!!

Denine - sounds like a good incentive to me. Go for it, it is nice to spoil yourself once in a while!!

Julie - Hope you don't wash away...maybe it will wash you out this way for a visit!!! That is such a cute story about Gary. I wish I could go to WDW in December...maybe I will start saving up my money just in case!!! pirate: I already told Chris that he needs to start saving his money so that when there is a reunion cruise with "our extended family" him and I can go!!! :boat:

AR was so disgusting last night. There is no way I could eat that soup when everyone was throwing up around me!!! What was up with Freddie? He freaked out, and threw a little tantrum...did he stop to notice that Hera got hit too and wasn't throwing a fit? I can't believe the wrestlers caught up, I sometimes wonder if they set up their "favorite" couple to win.

Time for work, have a great day.

Heidi, you couldn't scare us off!! We will always be here.

Well, I was right. We didn't have this "horrible" storm like they were tells us. It rained and then turned to snow around 5:30am. It snowed for a few hours and just gave us a dusting. Denine might have gotten it worse out where she lives now, but we didn't get much of anything. It is suppose to keep raining now for today and maybe the next. So we will sailing away real soon!! We are soooo rain soaked that the ground has huge puddles all over the place. Everyone's yard looks like mini lakes.

Well, nothing else new going on so I'm gonna go. I'll stop back in later.

TTFN

Julie is soo right about mini lakes in all the yards and the swollen rivers. It did stop snowing, but has started up again. We have about an 1" on the ground.

I got my WW stuff in the mail and am drinking my 3 point cup of tea while Kaleigh is NOT sleeping upstairs. It is amazing to see how many points everything is. No wonder I am fat!

I am trying to get laundry done, but Kaleigh is being disagreeable today.

Jerry would love to go to WDW in December for a few days. Just in case it works, he worked on Monday instead of taking it off for New Years.

Sue: You are becoming addicted to those facials!

I started to put away a few Christmas things. Nothing major though.

I still have to do my treadmill, but probably not until Jerry gets home. We'll see.

I am excited about having a plan to lose this weight. We will be able to keep it off if we learn how to eat right too. I am tired of looking like a slob.

Till tomorrow!

HI everyone. i'm finily on! :earboy2: o it's kristy faithmagicmickys DD.. mom wanted me to say HI :D to everyone i know she hasn't been on in a while. the hospital has been crazy so she's had to work a lot of over time. other then that i'm just wathcing the snow. wishing i was at DISNEY.

KRISTY

Kristy, how exciting to see you on and with your own name. I know you were having trouble a couple of months ago. I got your phone message. Thanks. I love what it says below your name "earning my ears". Cute, cute! Give your mom a hug from us.

I can't believe how chatty everyone was. I didn't take notes so I might not touch base on everything I wanted to. Let's see:

Denine, of course Kaleigh isn't saying NO as much because WHY is interrupting that. lol I don't like the way you are referring to yourself as a slob. By no means are you a slob! You did it before and you can do it again. We can do it together. I want another 20-30 pounds off. Not sure my family will go along with the 30. Heard on tv about the green tea that Julie was talking about a few months ago. Julie was right on target. It is suppose to be good.

Julie, oh how I wish we could go to WDW this Christmas but can't save enough by then because of the cruise. I would have done it in a heartbeat if we didn't have the cruise planned. That was my favorite trip to WDW! It is nice now that Heidi understands how much fun it is to know people there and on the cruise. Speaking of Heidi, I promise we will be good. The threat of more kids is more than I can handle.lol Cute story about Garry. How sweet and innocent.

Both Denine and Julie be careful with those swelling streams etc. Stay safe and DRY! I heard our storm was heading your way. Good luck!

Susan, what????? Another facial? I am so jealous. They certainly are nice and relaxing! And to top it off the high 70. Wow. Nice Susan, nice.

Heidi, AR. I agree totally with what you had to say. Gus and Hera was on The Tony Danza show so I PVRed it. Did anyone else watch AR? Armadillo sent me an email with 5.00 off a fajita plate for two just good for the next 2 days though. Hmmmm. Sounds good.

Better run.

Sandy, you will have to tell me about the Gus and Hera interview. I agree with all of you about how the show was "horrible" last night. I was thinking all along that this must be a non elimination leg. That soup made everyone sick. How could you eat it after everyone else got sick? I just think that was totally unfair.

Hi Kristy! Glad to see you posting! Give your mom a big hug from all of us!

Well, I've got to go..... building that Ark you know! Now it is snowing, this is the stuff that was suppose to be rain. OK, these weathermen have NO IDEA what it is going to do and these "storms" aren't "storms" at all and the "storms" that aren't going to be bad, are. I think they would do better just by flipping a coin.

I'll be back later!

Should we go back to weigh ins again to help each other out?

Yes, I am addicted to facials now. Paul gave me a gift certificate for my favorite place for Christmas so I took advantage of it today. Facials are very relaxing. I even made my next appointment for early Feb.

Turner is going to have to wear glasses. Seems as though he is far sighted and has a problem transitioning between near and far and reading. So, he is getting progressive lenses. Sandy, I remember you and someone (Denine, maybe?) talkiong about those lenses not too long ago. I am near sighted so I have no clue what he is in for. His glasses will be ready next week. He's a little bummed about it.

I will try to remember to post my calendar quotes each day. Today's: If a thing is done wrong long enough, it becomes right!

Today was 72 but the cooler weather is on the way.
Later!

HEY, Have you guys heard about this!!!

WHAT'S NEW

New Service Offers Hassle-Free Travel

Walt Disney World® Resort has announced an innovative new service called Disney's Magical Express which offers complimentary airport shuttle, luggage delivery and airline check in for Disney hotel guests*.

Beginning May 5, Disney's Magical Express will allow guests to check their bags at their hometown airport, bypass baggage claim at Orlando International Airport (OIA) and board luxury motor coaches to the Walt Disney World Resort - as their bags "magically" appear in their room upon check in. The round-trip service, which is available and complimentary during Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth event (which also begins May 5, 2005), is patterned after the successful Disney Cruise Line model and designed to give Disney hotel guests the stress-free vacation they want.

Disney's Magical Express service makes guests' return to OIA hassle-free as well, offering motor coach transportation back to Orlando International Airport. In addition, this convenient system lets guests on domestic flights** check their luggage and receive a boarding pass before departing their Disney hotel, meaning guests with flight departures later in the day no longer have to worry about their luggage after they check out of their hotel. They can simply check their luggage at the Resort Airline Check-in Desk and then enjoy the last day of their stay.

In addition to partners at OIA, Walt Disney World developed this innovative service in conjunction with private and public sector leaders including: the Mears Transportation Group, the largest provider of ground transportation to the Walt Disney World Resort; BAGS Inc., the provider and innovator in off-airport passenger check-in services for the hotel, convention, cruise and airline industries; ARINC Incorporated, a leader in transportation communications and systems engineering; the Transportation Security Administration; and airline partners.

*Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel, the seven hotels on and near Hotel Plaza Boulevard, and Shades of Green are not included.

**Participating airlines include American, Continental, Delta, Song, United and Ted. Walt Disney World hopes to add other air carriers to the Resort Airline Check-In service in the near future.

Pretty neat huh?

You never run out of things that can go wrong!

Nothing new here. I just wanted to give you all the quote of the day.

Later!

Skinny Julie is right. We could make a weekly weigh in again on Wednesdays. Anyone game?

Susan, love those quotes. Thanks! Yes, it was me about progressive lenses. I have them now. Don't wear them much but I do have them. I was told how hard it is to get used to them but honestly, I don't think it is that bad. The only thing that bugs me is to always have to move my head around to find the "right" spot. I bet Turner will do REAL well. Otherwise, maybe he might try the monovision contact lenses that Jeanne wears. They weren't too bad. I just didn't like how long it took me to put them in and take them out. The vision part was GREAT! Plus I have dry eyes so I was constantly putting in drops.

Thanks Julie for the tidbit. I had heard about the Magical Express but didn't know what it was about. Disney sent me an email but it was during the holidays when reading from the computer was the last of my chores to be done. Too bad Frontier isn't a part of it! We only fly Frontier because of it being non stop. Cross your fingers that they soon become a part and that the service is extended.

Gosh, we are expecting a heat wave today. The high is finally reaching 30. Can't wait to bask in the sun. :Pinkbounc

Time for Graci. Better run. Good morning Heidi!

Good morning.....

I am back among the living today...I got sick Tues and Wed and stayed in bed most of the day....Dick was sick too and didn't go to work yesterday but today we both feel a lot better.

I read about the service Disney is offering but it is only for the l8 months of the Celebration and then they are going to see how cost effective it is before deciding if they are going to extend it or not. It sounds really great.....

We had snow and very cold weather....

I haven't even unpacked from our trip to Hobbs.....guess I better do it today.

:Pinkbounc :flower1: YEA, KRISTY FINALLY POSTED!!!! Hi Kristy.

Good morning everybody. Today is my Friday :cool1: and thankfully I made it into work. I almost had 3 snowplows take me out today. I didn't realize snowplow trucks didn't have to follow the driving rules that the rest of us follow. To get into my work we have to go through the guards at the gate, their is a 2 lane left hand turn to get into the gate. I was in one lane, another car was in the other left hand turn lane and 3 snow plows pull up to the light like they are going to turn left out of the FedCenter. We had the green light and we started to turn into the intersection, will the snowplows decided to flip a u-turn and me and the other car slammed on our brakes to miss them and ended up swerving in the middle of the intersection (almost hitting the median due to sliding with the ice) as all 3 continue to make the u-turn while we were in the middle of the intersection with oncoming traffic approaching. I was mad, then I was driving to my building, stopped at the 4-way stop sign and here comes the snowplows again but hadn't made it to the stop sign and it didn't look like they were going to slow down. Thank god I didn't pull out because all 3 ran the stop sign while I sat waiting there. Bad start this morning!!!

Hope my day gets better and I hope that everyone has a great day.

 Good morning mom.

Hi Sally, good to hear from you. I was wondering why you didn't pop in about Amazing Race. Hope you are well on the road to recovery. Poor Graci had croup last weekend but is doing really well now.

Heidi, I am shocked about the snow plow drivers. Were they state, feds or city? Must have been feds if they were on the property. I think they deserve to be turned in. They can't take away your right away like that. I would love to know what Dad has to say about it!

Today I have a turkey breast in the crock pot. Heidi is not a turkey person but she loves it cooked this way. Just put the meaty side down in a crock pot and add a can of chicken broth and turn it on low. Voila...a moist tender turkey. Store it with the juices to keep it moist. I am trying a low sodium, low fat chicken broth this time. Might not be as tasty but the tenderness will still be there. Denine, turkey is a good way to watch calories. Yesterday I made something yummy and easy as well. I made pico de gallo and put it over fish and baked it. It was good. I am tired of the same old fish.

They were GSA employees (Feds). I was so angry. The reason why I didn't go on the stop sign was because I saw them run it yesterday leaving for work when I was approaching the same stop sign. Not sure how to report them. Ya I can't wait to talk to Dad tonight to see his response.

Randy brought down my flat screen monitor for my computer and hooked it up this morning, boy is it nice!!! I like having inside connections. :cool1:

Sally - I was also wondering why you didn't post about AR, glad you are starting to feel better.

Heidi, glad to hear you made it to work in one piece!! Garry always stays on top of the snowplow guys from the city to make sure they don't think "traffic laws don't apply to them." Last time I checked, these drivers don't have a badge that allows them to disreguard traffic laws.

Sandy, I'm in for the weekly weigh in. Thanks for calling me skinny Julie, but I need lots of work. I'm trying toget back to some shape that I was before I had kids (yes I know I'll never get back to THAT way, but Iwant to get close). Today for lunch I'm having Talapia (sp) on rice with some salsa over top. I got the fish from Market Day (it's through the school you can order LOTS of yummy things from there. The prices aren't any bargin, but the school gets credit for the orders. If anyone is interested, you can go to www.marketday.com to check it out. I don't know if you order anything that Makenzie's school would get credit, but if you are interested I can look into it.
I'm trying to just watch what I eat. (and boy does it look good! LOL! get it?)

I have had a cough for a few days now. Not sure where it came from, but it sure is a pain! My sinuses are acting up too. Our weather is crazy! It snowed yesterday evening and then changed to rain and rained all evening until this morning. Now they say by next week we should be in the 50's. No wonder people are getting sick!!!

Well, gotta go. I'll check back in later!

TTFN

I am definitely in for a weekly weigh in. Wednesdays are good for me. I need to lose 30 pounds.

That being said, I am hungry. I have to get to the store tonight to get some 0 point foods so I can eat more.

Yesterday turned out to not be a good day, besides the nasty weather. Jerry was just on his way home from work after getting of the train and the car died. He had to have AAA tow it and it turned out to be the fuel pump. He also got a rental car so I didn't have to drive with Kaleigh to go get him with the roads so bad. $900 later, the car is back home. Now, our weekend away is in jeopardy. I don't know if we can spend the money after this huge bill.

Kaleigh is addicted to Speeping Beauty. She also wants to dance with me or Jerry whenever she hears "Once Upon a Dream"

Sue: I got glasses when I was in the 5th grade, but I am near sighted, very badly near sighted. They have some really cool frames out there now, even if he opts for contacts, he should have a pair of frames.

Sandy: Maybe I don't necessarily look like a slob, but I feel like one. Nothing fits but sweat pants. My jeans fit, but they aren't comfortable for any length of time. The turkey sounds good. I am waiting for my CD of WW cookbooks to come in the mail. We had Italian Wedding soup again last night. I still have enough for an army, especially now that we can only have 1 bowl.

Julie: Magical Express sounds great except we are renting a car.

Heidi: Glad you made it one piece. I would be angry too!

Sally: Sorry to hear you were under the weather, but glad you are feeling better.

Kristy: Glad to hear from you.

No Julie, you didn't scare me away. Just been busy. I had tilapia last night and it is good. However, my favorite is whiting. My utmost favorite is orange roughy but I would need to take a loan out on the house to be able to buy the supply that I need. Yummy but expensive. Your weathermen are just like ours. Hear what they have to say and believe the opposite! They do blow things out of proportion that is for sure. Our next storm is suppose to be Tues and Wed. Gosh, will it end? My burgandy suburban is now a nasty tan from the liquid chemical they put on the roads. They say that it is hard on a paint job. I want to wash my car but the streets are still sloppy.

Hey Denine, Applebees has a weight watcher menu that even gives the points. I had tilapia off of it about a month ago and it was soooooooooooo yummy. It came with a little rice and a mango salsa. I also had the chicken sandwich and it came with fresh fruit. Also, very yummy. Just thought that in case you want to get out Applebees might be the place for you. Do tell, what are some of your 0 point foods? Wow, sorry to hear about the car. I hate paying for car repairs. Always more than what it is worth!

Hi mom, I see that you are on. If you don't get the message I left on the machine I am going to work out tonight after work again, Chris can't make it tonight because he forgot about his dentist appointment at 4:00. I will be home at 5:00.

I am here Julie!!! Maybe you just stink!!! Just kidding!!!

Denine is on too - Hi Denine!!!
