October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Heidi, we must be related because I am Bonnie's mom.....but I may disown her because she never calls me....lol

Hmmm. now I have to figure this one out. If my mom is Bonnie's sister and Bonnie is my aunt, that means you would be my mom's mom, and you would be my grandma!!!! And then to add to that Barb would be my aunt too!!!

WOW! You guys have been chatty since yesterday!

Julie: Enjoy your 1st week in WDW and we will be down there for week #2. We get in at 6 PM on Tuesday and then have to get to OKW.

Sally: I haven't really looked at plant prices since I ordered all my gardens from catalogs. I was a bit shocked at the price I paid for the plants in the planters though, but they were bigger sizes. Hotdogs at Jacob's Field, the last time we went, were $3.50 each. We really want to get to a game, but there doesn't seem to be any time and now they are out west.

My shrubs came today. I have to open them and water them, but I can't plant them because Jerry is going to see Star Wars with his brother tonight. I still have this awful blister on my hand, so I can't dig. It has been there for over 2 weeks.

Another gorgeous day, currently 86.

Went shopping this morning so I could make dinner. It is made. A maindish salad with rice as a base instead of lettuce.

We got a free trial membership in BJ's. We had never been to any ware house store before. We went for the 1st time last night. Now that I know what they have, I can make a list and go back to stock up on some stuff. Other things come in such large amounts, that I wouldn't be able to use them all with just the 3 of us.

I started getting my lists ready for our trip. It is really sneaking up on us.

Barb: I never got any pictures either, just the test e-mail.

Sandy: You will have to take pictures of those new babies and send them along.

Heidi: DId you know that one of the rockies broke his collar bone and will be out for 3 months? He did it carrying groceries up to his apartment. He fell on the stairs. I guess he was a star rookie. That sounds like something that would happen to one of our teams! Glad you enjoyed being at the ball park. (Notice I didn't say that you enjoyed the GAME).

Sally: You need to get on them and get that appointment for Dick!

Tomorrow is weigh-in day. I hope I lose something. I have been at a stand still for about 3 weeks. Then, next week we will be in WDW. That will be a diet challange with all that yummy food. I want to go to Le Cellier, not to mention all the other places. At least we like to walk!

So much chatter, let's see if I remember what to respond to. I read it and then went shopping at Target. By the way Heidi, I bought a votive candle holder for you if you are interested. 20.00 for 5.00.

That's right Heidi, somehow you are related to Sally cuz she is Bonnie's mom. Oh, I just noticed that you guys posted since I read it a couple of hours ago. Glad that you figured it out cuz it is waaaay to confusing for me. Make sure I cancel with the campground. I told them we were arriving this Thursday.

I can't believe how cheap a movie is for you on Tuesdays Sally. I would go every Tuesday in the summer just to get the air conditioning. We have a swamp cooler that does good except for humid days.

Denine, we don't have BJ's here but I think it is like our Costco and Sam's Club. Heidi has a membership to Costco and I have Sam's. We love it. By the way, check out cookbooks. They always have good ones. That is where Dick takes Sally for lunch on samples. I have to admit my dad would take me to lunch at Sam's just like Dick. He would always tell the ladies he was taking me out to lunch. He thought that was so funny.

Oh that's right Julie posted too. I will have to scroll down to see what she had to say. I can't believe you are actually flying out the last day of school. It has to be totally hectic for you. You are an amazing packer. Could you please come visit me and pack for us for our PC cruise? Yea right, like that would ever happen. Wish we lived so close to the airport. We are about 45 minutes away. Nice highway all the way though. One half is toll road so it is a very easy drive. The babies are Tyler (boy) and Joey (girl). She is delivering at the hospital where Lori works. Unfortunately Lori doesn't work this weekend. If she delivers early then Lori might be able to see them.

Believe me, we will be taking a camera and will share a picture with everyone of Joey and Tyler. Heidi, how about breakfast somewhere before we head to the hospital? And, lunch at Fazoli's? Mmmmmm.

One more thing for Denine. I have been having problems on the weight loss for about 3 weeks, also. I just think that we need to stay positive and try to stay on task. Drink more water. And as far as weight loss on your trip......enjoy the trip. You can worry about weight later. That is just my opinion and that is the attitude that I am going with on the cruise. I know that I won't see any loss this week but hopefully will get back to what I was last Wednesday. I have been gaining lots and losing a little here and there. I need to lose like one or two pounds to get to where I was last week.

I did catch that!!!! I also heard about the rookie that broke his collar bone.....now that would be something I would do...huh mom!!!! For some reason I have a hard time with stairs and tend to fall down them.

Mom - Breakfast sounds good to me on Saturday, where are we going? Speaking of Sam's..did you ever find out if you can take off dad and add me?

There will be plenty of pictures taken, I have my digital (and my phone) all charged up!!!

Oh my gosh, Sally. I did not know about you and Ken delivering their first born. Wow, tell us all about it. To be honest, I like BOTH places for different reasons. That is why Heidi put me on hers and I am going to put her on ours. No, we won't be in the room per Stacey's request.

Heidi, I haven't changed the names yet until YOU are with me. They will need to take your picture. I don't see why we couldn't do it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for Stacey's itchy tummy? She is starting to break skin because of scratching.

We have all the warehouse clubs in this area. We actually have a BJ's and Costco within 10 minutes of here. My mom used to go to Sam's all the time.

I work Friday and Saturday mornings. I will be checking for pictures Saturday evening or Sunday!

Sandy: Maybe we are retaining because of the warmer weather. At least it is an excuse!

Hey Hey Hey!! MOTHER no nasty comments about my packing. Keep in mind I also get everyone else's overflow. And I take stuff that is community use stuff plus I need extra space for all the goodies I bring back!!

I have an idea about the pictures. the only ones I have in my email is when Ethan was born. He is now a whopping 5 weeks!! We had his one month picture taken at kiddy kandids. I wonder if I send you the number if you can view the pictures online. I have not tried to view them yet I will play with the website when I get home tonight. I will also download my camera to see it I can email more up to date pictures. Goodness knows I have taken a bunch!

Barb, I have to defend you. I agree. We end up packing what everyone will use like medicines and then it becomes we pack waaay too much. What is up with that? I love Kiddy Kandids. No where else takes better pictures!

I just discovered that my debit card number has been stolen and $700 has been charged in Mexico to my account. The bank did not catch it, I had to catch it. The account is now frozen and I just made a police report. So not in the mood for this.

Neice Heidi, sister Sandy and Mom...I am home!!

Exhausted! Will never go the biginning of June again. Too many people!! $EPCOT wasn't bad but MGM and MK were awful!! Never got on Space Mountain...tried right after wishes and they were holding the line up. Stayed for the second SpectroMagic. I think I am getting old!! No tolerence for the crowds! Met some terrific people from all over though...a cattleman and his wife and twin daughters from CO...must be something in the water there! Lots from England and Scotland, NC, some nice boys from Ohio...one will play football for USC the other probably for U of FL. They wanted to know if they would find girls in EPCOT...I told them to check out Norway!! Ran into them the next day as we were leaving EPCOT (left my CC there!) and they were talking to a group of girls!! We said "Hey!! You found girls!!"
Wishes was great, I missed not being there with the Dudettes and my DIS family though...just not the same!

They rehabed Small World and it looks great, saw Mickey's Philharmonic, rode the tea cupshaunted mansion etc. Of course ate Mickey Waffles 3 of the 4 days. Oh yes...talked to people from Houston and KY...all over!! Mel says I will talk to just about anyone...I guess she's right. What is WDW for anyhow expect to meet people from all over the world.

Off to rest...plan on getting to bed by 8PM...never made it to bed before all weekend!!! That includes the 3:30 AM Saturday morning after the travel fiasco!

Mickey's Magical Express was non existent at 1:30AM however it worked well back to the airport but they pick you up 3 hours before and drop you at one end of the terminal and you have to hoof it to your airline counter. USAir happens to be at the other end!! Still think it would be worth it to get a towncar unless you are really trying to budget.

Were you there for Gay Day....that must be something else! By now you should be on first name basis with Mickey...get some rest...vacations do take their toll and drink lots of water...do I sound like a mom?

Yes I was there for Gay WEEKEND!!! Mel and I had a howl!!! Walking in EPCOT a group of the men must have thought we were a couple...said "Hello ladies!" as we walked by and another group offered there seat to us...with a glint in there eyes. I almost said "and hello ladiesto you also !!" but I behaved!
