Bonnie reappeared, I am so excited!!!! Have fun on your trip, tell Mickey Hi for me and give him a big squeeze!!!! I am so glad you came back before you left, I was getting sad that you left without saying goodbye. :sad1:

Oh Micho, I wanna go back!!!!!!!!

Denine - I second all that my mom mentioned about getting Kaleigh to go potty, (maybe because she taught me all that she knows!!!) Good luck, have patience and it will happen.

Jeanne - count me in with the Girls Spa Day!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I wanted to real quick like post. I have not read the board for several days and plan to go back and catch up. Just wanted to fill you in on the Bon Voyage party I had for Loretta, Maddie and Kendra yesterday.

The party was great. I was able to reserve a conferance room for the party and my team was able to get off the phone
I ordered a 6 foot Sub sandwhich, cake, punch, fruit and chips. I had made bags for each one of them
and filled them with fun things like bubbles, silly string, Mickey glasses, poppers, lotions, Shirt, door magnets, picture frames, note pads and few other things. I got plain bags and put Little Mermaid stickers on Loretta's, Mickey Mouse on Kendra's and on Maddie's I found a sticker
that said "Make a Wish" can you believe it?? I was so excited I had to buy it. The bags themselves ended up costing about $6.00 each but they were soooo cute!

Just wanted to post to let you all know I am here. I will post more later

Barb

Barb - you are such a great friend, those bags sound really cute. Great idea, they will remember the party you threw for them forever!!! They are going to enjoy this cruise even more now because of you. You are such a sweetie!!!!

Mom - those pictures turned out really good!!! I love the one with Nina and I up in the bathroom!!!! I am so proud of you emailing and downloading those pics!!

Hi everyone! Back from the zoo with Makenzie. Had a nice time, it was cloudy but didn't rain. I had 9 children in my group and OF COURSE I got Shane the problem child of the class. I must say, I scared the poop out of him and he was fantastic the whole day! I guess it was the teacher in me that came out.

Bonnie, have a great trip! Tell Disney to get ready for us!

Jeanne, I'm for the spa weekend thing too! Sounds like heaven!

Denine, hang in there with the potty training. Some children will do great at first and then have a little set back and then no problems at all. Remember too that she is only 2 and some children take a little longer to get the hang of it. It took Makenzie a whole 2 days to potty train and there was The Big Guy who took several months to get it down pat. I tried everything with him the big boy pants, candy, stickers, toys etc and it didn't work. The doctor said not to push him or he will have accidents on purpose or hold it until his bladdar couldn't hold any more. It's very trying, but she will get it. What you are going through is the same thing Susan went through with Joshua. (sister in law Susan)

Barb, sounds like a really nice party. I know they will remember it forever!

ONLY 2 MORE days of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, gotta go. I have to get the final paperwork for this dance troop that I am sending down to disney finished.

I'll check back in later!

TTFN

Hello,

Bonnie, I know it is too late but have a great trip. Remember to put your running shoes on for the commando style visit. That is if you can get her to understand our way of doing it. Keep us informed on your lasik!

Jeanne, too late. After about 3 or 4 months I asked Faith for Micho's email address. I gave up on you. lol

Barb, sounds like the Bon Voyage party went off great. You planned an awesome party. The party bags were a nice surprise with them. Sounds like they were full of goodies!

Julie, I always got the "trying" child on field trips. Drove me nuts. Heidi, remember Downtown Denver??

Ohhhhhhh, I forgot to tell you guys. I will be a grandma next Saturday. Stacey will be induced around 8:00 am. Before that they will do an ultrasound to see if it will be C section or if Tyler is cooperating it will be a normal birth. Question, if it is Csection, does she have to go through some labor or can they just take them? They are doing lots of stress tests now because she is not feeling them as much plus little Tyler wasn't breathing through his nose like they want. They did say however that they become lazy once in awhile and revert back to the old way of breathing. They estimate that the babies weigh about 6lbs, 5 oz. Pretty good size! They say that they have tiny waists and want her to eat more. And, they have run out of room inside the womb.

Denine, as everyone tells you, every child potty trains at their own speed. We were begging my niece to go potty so she could get enrolled in a 3 year old preschool. She BARELY and I mean barely was trained at 3.

Better run. Expecting Heidi any minute.

My gosh Sandy....they know all that even before they are born! Isn't it amazing...we just had to wait and be surprised.

Bet you can't wait....being a grandmother is the best thing in the world. Ever hear the saying God gives you children to love and grandchildren to love you back....it is so true....grandchildren love you with all their little hearts.

I am feeling a little better today....not as achy and throat isn't swollen. :earboy2:

Sandy, I'm not sure but I thought that when they do a c section that they do't need to be in labor. I could be wrong, but I thought that is what my one girlfriend said when she had her 3 scheduled c sections. IF they said that they were going to induce her, then she will have some labor. How exciting to be a grandma next week!! Post and let us know how things go. We will take our laptop and get the internet service at the BWV so we can still post on and off!

WELL, going to go pack more. I think I'm doing ok with the packing. I want to have everything packed by monday afternoon (I'm trying for Sunday night, but I'm not holding my breathe!).

I'll be back later!

ttfn

Gosh, thanks Julie. And Sally.....it is amazing what they can do now with babies and pregnant women.

Julie, exactly when are you leaving? Tuesday? Send me a virtual postcard from Epcot.

Yeah! Sandy's going to be a grandma in a week. No, you don't need to be in labor to do a c-section.

Thanks for all the potty training advice. I am flying by the seat of my pants on this one!

Sally: Glad you are feeling some better today.

Did you DVC people get your new DVD? It is what they are going to give to prospective buyers. Haven't watched it yet.

Work was good today except my extreme aggravation with the house doctor. I asked her to discontinue some meds on a resident and not only didn't she do that, she added more! I was sooo angry. You know they are on too many meds when the med drawer won't open!

Just got back from the mall. We bought a pre-paid cell phone, so we are now part of the 20th century. Give us time, we may catch up to this one too! We didn't get a plan, because we don't know how much we are going to use it and didn't want to lock into a 1-2 year agreement. It is really only for emergencies and when traveling with other people.

Tomorrow, we are having friends over for dinner. We made these plans 2 months ago! We have a bunch to do to get ready. I put the chicken to marinate tonight, and I have to make the pie crust and pie tomorrow.

Bonnie: Enjoy WDW! Say hi to Mickey for us! I would be too nervous to undergo a new procedure on my eyes. More power to you!

Barb: It sounds like your bon voyage party was a big success!

Just a quick post to let you all know I am still here. This was a very hectic week but Turner is now out of school!!! He finished elementary school and is now my rising middle schooler! They had a 5th grade bridging ceremony that was really nice. There 5th grade pool party had to be rescheduled becasue the wather didn't cooperate. So now it is is planned for Tuesday.

Next week, initial travel team evaluations start for hockey for next year's season. Final tryouts will be in August. Hockey - the never ending activitiy for us.

I think I have been sleeping enough for everyone one. My ulcerative colitis has been so bad and has had me wiped out for several weeks. I have been going to bed very early every night. Last night I even slept for 13 hours!! I hate wasting so much of the day but my body is demanding it!

I have lots of laundry and cleaning to do today. I have neglected the house for too long.

Have a great day and I'll try to get Turner off the computer later today so I can post again.

Miss you all and Love ya!
Later!

Glad to hear from you Sue! Things will hopefully quiet down now that school is out. Hope you start to feel better soon.

The house is relatively clean and the pie is made. Kaleigh is down for her nap and Jerry is out watering the plants.

Kaleigh did not get to bed until 11 PM last night. She was just screaming and crying and would not go to sleep. I had to get her back up to sit with me for a while and then she went to sleep. This happens once in a while.

Our friends will be here in a couple of hours, so I am off.

SANDY: If she goes in on Saturday & the ultrasound shows one baby is still breech, they will just do a C-Section but if they are both head down she may have labor. Please send me Bonnie's postcard to my e-mail. I talked to her yesterday morning. She is such a BRAT! They were on there way into Mexico!

The bridal :bride: shower was wonderful. She must have really been surprised  since she had on this old t-shirt. They received some really great presents - a patio set, stainless steel outside grill, bedding, etc. etc. - too much to name.

BARB: You are so thoughtful. They are going to really enjoy those bags.

JULIE: School's almost over. I used to love & hate it. No more homework, lunches, etc. but now I had to entertain them all day! :confused3

HEIDI: How excited are you to be an Auntie?

Just wanted to let you all know I was alive. Have a blessed Sunday. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Happy Sunday everyone! Glad to see you post Susan! I can't beleive how busy the end of the school year can be! Makenzie has only monday and tuesday left. Tomorrow is her class party and tuesday I beleive is the all school movie so the teachers can get stuff done without the kids in class. I THINK that is how tuesday goes, but I can be 100% about it. I can only imagine the work Turner will have next year. Makenzie's work this year was incredible! They did addition, subtraction, basic fractions, basic geometry (cone, cylinder, cube etc...), telling time (digital and clock face time) and a WHOLE LOT OF READING! SHe had several nights of homework where it was between 24 and 30 math problems! What happened to kindergarten, I'll never know.
Susan, please just take it easy with your colitis. One of my girlfriends has had a really bad flair up with her colitis and is still recovering from it. She has had several surgeries to try and help her situation. Just keep what you are doing and sleep and relax (yeah right! You're a mom!) and take time for you. We are here for you!

Well, everyone's clothes are out in their piles to be put into the suitcases!!! I just have to double check each persons pile just to make sure I have everything... bathing suits, bathing cover up,flip flops, etc. We have a one bedroom with the washer and dryer in the room, so I can do laundry. I still pack WAYYYYYYYYY to much! I have about 8 outfits for the kids and when it comes to Garry and I, I pack like 3 pairs of shorts and about 6-8 shirts. But it still seems like WAY to MUCH!!!! I wonder if Bonnie used the "magical express" with her luggage. IF you can Sandy, could you give me her cell number or if you plan on calling her, ask her how it worked for her.

Denine, how did your dinner go last night? The menu sounded yummy!!!

Well, gonna go! I'll stop by later!

Hi Barb, Sally, and Jeanne do you guys ever stop! All of you are soooooooo busy!!!

TTFN

Hi Jeanne!!!! I thought you were gonna post this morning! I wished we lived closer to each other!! We would have a blast!!

Sandy, I want to see Bonnie's postcard too!! I will send a postcard to whoever email I can remember at that time and they can send it out to everyone else.

Well, gonna go! I'll be back!

Good morning everyone,

Believe it or not I posted yesterday. Did you read it? Somehow it is missing. Oh well, I will try not to snub anyone.

Susan, take time for you! It is hard as a mom but you have to do it. Don't worry about the house. Do what you can after you rest. The men can help you. It is hard to believe that Turner will be in middle school. Our school district starts middle school in 7th.

I will email Bonnie's picture to everyone. Looks like they are having a fantastic time. I am jealous of Denine and Julie for next week. Look for any cool souvenirs I might want to call WDW and buy. Denine, don't forget to send a virtual postcard, too.

Jeanne, a surprise shower sounds fun. What a lucky girl to get all those nice presents.

Denine, it took us awhile to join the real world for cell phones too. Ted's work offered them at a no charge unless you use it plan and that is how we got going a few years back. But, the phones got so old as they were analog that the girls begged us to get "real" ones. Now we can't live without them. It sure has saved us with all going on with Ted's dad over the last year!!! We talked Ted's sister into getting one when he got sick as well.

Almost brunch time.

Hi everyone. I really took it easy this weekend. I did a little cleaning, laundry and reading. Hopefully the work week won't be so bad.

Sandy - thanks for sending the picture of Bonnie. Looks like ponchos in the picture. Hope the weather hasn't been too bad. Oh well, rain at WDW is better than sunshine here anyday!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Later!

You are so right about that one!

I talked to Bonnie a couple of times today. She is really having a blast. Yesterday was Epcot, today was MGM. Tonight when I talked to her she was waiting for Fantasmic to start. Tomorrow is MK. It was fun for me because I am living WDW through her. And to think, Julie and Denine will be there soon. Wish it was me!

Have to go return a movie to McDonalds now. :love2: Thanks Heidi!

Julie - How excited you must be, you get to leave for WDW TOMORROW!!!! I would be so psyched.

Denine - are you guys also going on 6/7? Have a blast, I will be thinking of you two!!!

It was fun talking to Bonnie yesterday, she sounds like she is having a blast. I loved her last words: "Ted,......Heidi Cruise!!!"

Mom - How did you like the movie? What did you think about it?

Hi Barb and Sally. How did you fair through this weekend? Yucky weather on Saturday but a beautiful day on Sunday!!

Of ya that reminds me, I got my couch on Saturday!!! It is so comfortable, way better than the futon!!!!

Susan - glad you took it easy this weekend. Hope you are feeling better.

Hi Jeanne, glad the bridal shower went good!! What a suprise.

Good morning.....I still wasn't feeling very well so the weekend weather didn't matter to me as I stayed inside. But this morning I think I am pretty well on the road to recovery because I am going to work outside and before I could have cared less.

I have a vine growing over an arch and it is so big and loaded with blooms it kept falling forward so Dick had to stake it. Everything is growing and blooming so nicely.....I can't believe I am not even half finished with my yard. I am always done by the lst of June but between the weather and vacations...Oregon and New Mexico I lost a lot of time

Did anyone see the special on the dry docking and rebuilding of the cruise ship? It was really interesting.....they did 2 hr. and next week they have more on it. They are completely doing the ship in 3 weeks....

Isn't it fun when someone from our Disney family goes there....it is almost like being there yourself.....

I called Bonnie a BRAT since she had just come out of my favorite restaurant "Le Cellier" & called me. She said she had the cheese soup, filet mignon & creme brulee for dessert! Also lots of pretzel bread. It does feel like I am in WDW ::MickeyMo - can't wait to hear the exciting adventures of Julie & Denine.

SANDY: I misunderstood what Bonnie posted about the reservations a few pages back but she said some of the reservations for the tea were just cancelled for no reason but ours still are on our reservations.

Air conditioning went on last night. It is in the 80's :sunny: :sunny: & is supposed to be hot all week.

Getting very excited :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Lots of good things coming.

SANDY: I can't wait until Saturday & the babies ::yes:: ::yes::

Have a great week. Back to work tomorrow after a three day weekend. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE
