Hello Hello Hello!!

I am going to try really hard to post everyday. I love reading the board and it is so fun that we have stuck together for so long. Any idea when the first board started??

Tonight is Thorn rehersal I am already tired but it was lots of fun last year and the production is amazing. I have been so good about going to the Y twice a week since January don't want to quit now. I love New Years resolutions that is until I screw them up

Tiffany called me yesterday begging me to come home. She was really really sick. I decided to ruin my perfect attendance at work (leave early counts) and go home to my baby. I stopped by Target and bought her a new heating pad and the movie "13 Going on 30". When I got home Jaymee was on the couch she had been throwing up for a couple of hours. So I got to take care of both of them. I did walk my dogs when I got them settled. Bob and I took Amanda (my stepdaughter) out to dinner last night. Bob was in Germany on her birthday so we spent so bonding time with her. She is 2 weeks younger then Tiffany (just turned 17)

I was just looking over some Disney information So once again I am
"DREAMING OF DISNEY  "

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JERRY!!!!!!

Denine- We are having our Pastor over for dinner in a couple of weeks you are so full of great dinner ideas I would love some suggestions!! They eat pretty healthy so I guess take out from McDonalds is out.

Sandy you are doing fantastic on the weight loss!!!!! Congrats!!!!

BARB ::MickeyMo

Barb - take out from McDonalds :rotfl2: :rotfl: That had me laughing pretty hard. My mom had to take care of me also yesterday. She was very nice to pick me up an egg mcmuffin and a parfait. It is so nice to have a mommy that will take care of you.

I think I watched 13 going on 30 a billion times on the Disney Cruise, they were constantly showing that movie. I think that movie was even playing when I was enjoying my nice bath in the Walt Suite!!! :cool1:

:cheer2: :jumping1: :cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JERRY!! :bday: :thewave:

Really not a bad three days in a row. Work was busy but not crazy.

SANDY: Things are better. I will send you an e-mail tonight.

JERRY: Happy Birthday to you... :bday: :cake:

BONNIE: You kill me. I am just like you. I love to eat all the time. I thought I FOUND all the pounds from Colorado :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tomorrow we are giving a baby shower for someone at work at 7:00 PM. It should be fun. Hope you all have a great day. I will probably pop-on tomorrow afternoon. I have an eye doctor's appointment at 8:00 AM tomorrow. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Good Morning!!

Here I am checking in! Thought I would do it first thing before I get to busy.

I went to the Y yesterday and while I was peddling away on the bike watching Dr Phil there was a commercial for The Thorn!!! It was awesome. I didn't realize what I was watching at first and thought it was a commercial for some Broadway play coming then I started seeing familure things and then "The Thorn" popped up. It was Super Cool!

I have tonight off. We are going to go to dinner and a movie. We are having some friends over for dinner tomorrow night. I will be searching cook books.
I still need ideas for when our Pastor comes over. I was thinking of making enchilada's and Fajita's. hummmmmmmm

Hope everyone is doing great!!

Barb :wave2:

Back from the Eye Dr. & no change - everything is status quo. :3dglasses

Snowed again this AM :cold: but now has switched over to rain :umbrella: .

Need to go buy rolls for the baby shower & help decorate.

Hope you all have a great day. Can you feel the love? :grouphug: Toodles  :genie: JEANNE Remember! Think EAGLES WIN!!!

Jeanne, BUY rolls??? That would be a big no-no at our house. I have to make homemade ones.

Shhhhh, don't tell Heidi that I snuck on. She is ready to go for a full day together. I told her. No, I am not getting on. Just checking my email. HA!

Will check back in later.

Way to go Barb, posting everyday. I like it!

TGIF! It is actually sunny and above freezing today. It is supposed to get into the 40's this weekend.

Barb: Cool website. The trailer didn't work very well though. It kept stopping. Wish we could all see it. I will have to look for some ideas for you for dinner.

Jerry's dinner turned out really good. The muffins didn't turn out cheesey though, because I had shredded Parmesan instead of grated and the cheese wouldn't stick. The cake was really yummy. It made it's own fudgy sauce.

Tomorrow is Garry's party.

Kaleigh is very attached to Stitch. She acts like he is the REAL thing!

Jeanne: Glad everything went well at the eye doctor. I should make an appointment to go, but there is never time and I can still see.

Hope the sickies are feeling better today.

Thanks for Jerry's birthday wishes. We are going over to his mom's on Sunday to celebrate his and his brother's birthday.

We go to Hilton Head in a little more than a week and I haven't done anything to prepare.

We are getting a girl dachshund tonight....any ideas for a name.... We have an Abby and our other one was Gretchen so may go with that and also Lisa is a german name....I like Heidi but my granddaughter has one named that.....

This is worse than naming a baby...

SANDY: These rolls are as good as homemade. They come right from the Italian Bakery (even still on the baking pans). You just have to come to the Philadelphia area to taste REAL italian bread & rolls.

A baby girl Dachshund how exciting! I have some name ideas like Hilda or Gunda. How about little fraline? (I know I killed that spelling).

Can't get in the room to decorate until 6:00 PM so I am killing time.

Have a great weekend. Miss you all. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Heidi and I are back. We went apt. hunting for her friend in FL.

Jeanne, mmmmm sounds good. I can smell them. We just don't have good bakeries here. Not like we had in SoDak. I will take you up on that offer to go to Philly. We were just talking about that last night.

Sally, I love the names that Jeanne came up with, Hilda or Gunda. Leaning more towards Hilda.

Barb, you need to go over to the Panama Canal site and order pins. They have designed a pin for the disers. You might want to sign up for the lanyard, Id's, wine tasting party sponsored by Dreams Unlimited, DISmeet on Sunday. They are also making up a monthly newsletter. Just got the first one and it was very informative. Well worth giving your email address to Winotracy.

Just waiting to hear from a TA about a hotel in CA for the Friday before. I have waited for two days now. Not sure if I should make the ressies myself or if it would be worth it to wait for her. She has made the ressies for everyone else going there. Decisions!

Happy Belated Birthday Jerry!
Happy Birthday Garry-I am assuming it is around this time since there is a party...you know me with dates.

I think I saw Jeanne on the road going to the shower...did you turn onto Rt. 30 in Clementon...heading towards Berlin?

I had a long haired mini dachshund...named Skippy Dawg! Dumber than dirt! But loved me. Stubborn dogs if you never had one.

Sandy- I told you to come out and we can go to NYC, see a show etc.

Talking to my mom...I better pay attention.

Yes, you certainly did Bonnie. That is how we got to talking about going out there. We thought it would be perfect to have a personal tour guide. Besides that, you know where the cheesecake is!!

:cake: :bday:  HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TO THE BIG GUY!!!!!! :bday: :cake:

Just a quick stop in. I'll try to post more later today!!!

Up bright & early with the doggies :sunny: They went to the park ran around like nuts, came home ate & are now napping.

BONNIE: I don't think that was me on the road since I went right down Erial Road onto Gibbsboro. I was on Route 30 earlier for the rolls but then headed home. I ordered all of us everything & signed us up for everything on the other board. You will absolutely love the pin & the lanyard.

The baby shower was really nice & she seemed really surprised . It was a great turn-out. Sometimes when you give something for a fellow employee it seems like it's TOO MUCH EFFORT for co-workers to show-up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BIG GUY! :bday: :cake:

SANDY: You know they have some special deal with the Ho-Jo in California. Did you check that out from the other board? I think they even arranged a shuttle to the port or something. Bonnie needs to post on that board!

It is a really beautiful day here today. Hope you all have a great day. Remember - think EAGLES WIN. GOOOOOO EAGLES :thewave: Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Well, 3 Molars pulled this morning...it's a good thing my dentist is a cutie or I would have to hate him. But in the long run I will have beautiful teeth...even if they are bought and paid for they're still mine! No more abcess on that side!

Plan on laying low this weekend with my mouth the way it is...skipping a super bowl party but will watch and cheer at home. Will probably gain some more weight living on ice cream for a few days.

Happy Birthday Big Guy!!!!!! :love2: :cheer2: I still picture him as an 18 month old...wow how time flies!!!

Have a great day all...think I will lie down for awhile.

Sally: A puppy, how cute! I like Hilda too.

Barb: What kind of food do you like? I have a ton of recipes, but don't know where to begin looking.

Sandy: We are staying at the HOJO and are signed up for the shuttle.

Bonnie: Ouch! But, yeah for no more abcesses!

Jeanne: Glad your shower turned out nice. We have lots of ethnic bakeries in the Cleveland area, just nothing in North Ridgeville.

I keep forgetting to tell you that the people right across from us moved in this week. The people next door still haven't moved in. I haven't had a chance to go over there yet.

Leaving in a little while for Garry's party. It is sunny and 44. What a nice change. Jerry even got 1 of the cars washed.

We have now made reservations for the Holiday Inn at San Pedro. We will be a mile from the terminal. It just seems so perfect. They offer a shuttle for 3.00 per person to the terminal. I can finally relax. I waited for the TA that Ivanova had set up for the Holiday Inn to call me but I have waited for almost 3 days now so I called the Holiday Inn myself. Supposedly the hotel will have about 30 rooms taken up with the DISers. The room itself is 99.00 and if you add the fly and cruise package it is 149.00. You will have transportation from airport, to the terminal and a bottle of champagne all included in the 149.00.

Ted is working on the Suburban so will get back on later. Just wanted to see if the TA wrote me. She didn't so I decided to quickly check in here.

Have a great one!

Sandy: Glad you got a room at the Inn!

Poor Bonnie. I'm like you I love my dentist but I hate what he does to me! :teeth:

SANDY: I know you must feel relieved now that your room is booked. I wonder when Bonnie is planning on flying out.

Just wanted to stop by this evening & let the men dance for you :dancer: :dancer: . They are doing the EAGLES victory dance. Have a good evening & blessed Sunday. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE
