Barb, the weather is chilly and rainy. Are you guys ready for this????? THe mountains are expected to get TWO feet of snow. Yep, that's what I said.....TWO feet. We might even get some by Saturday. Snow for you Barb??

By the way, I loved Expedition Everest and Soarin. My new favorite ride is SOARIN. I talked Bonnie into riding Expedition Everest. I don't think she will forgive me. She was soooo scared. The picture turned out hilarious. I didn't realize that anyone could open their mouth that wide when they scream! lol

It is pretty busy today at work but I did manage to get some autograph
cards done for Ethan to take to Disney next time we go. They are really cute
they are charater cards. There is a place for a picture of Ethan and the charaters and a little card for the charater to sign. I have been working on them for the past 2 days and now I am done and ready to go to Disney!

2 FEET! WOW that is a lot of snow. Sure wonder what this winter will be like!

JULIE: Still planning on going to WDW the first week in December 2007 with my new grandbaby (if she ever gets here!), daughter-in-law and son. It will be their Christmas present. My next door neighbor had there baby and it was born with all kinds of anomalies. They think it is deaf, blind and has some kind of genetic disorder. I feel so bad and don't know what to say to them.

SANDY: You have to post that picture from Everest! Poor Heidi. Nothing ever goes as planned for her does it? How is Chris feeling?

BARB: Where do you get your energy? I went to the dentist, shopping, planted some mums and now I am exhausted. Dinner was done in the crockpot.

You guys are getting snow! We did have a cold front come through but we're talking going down to 50 at night. Try to stay warm. Toodles JEANNE

Left off my car at the dealer today (it has a recall for the "ball joints") so I was stuck in the house all day so I put up my Halloween decorations and took down on my red, white and blue decorations. It is almost pumpkin painting time!

I'm here. Just had an appt to get my teeth cleaned and ended up getting work done on one tooth. It had a fracture and the dentist wasn't busy so we just did it right then and there. After that, my day turned into a wonderful day. I was able to see Stacey and the babies for the first time since we got home. I was avoiding them because of my cold. We haven't exchanged souvenirs with them yet. We are waiting until Heidi is home. It will feel like Christmas!

Jeanne: Our car work that we had done was because of defective wheel bearings. They sent us a letter and they fixed it for free. Your grandbabdy can be born on Monday, that is Kaleigh's birthday.

Sandy: You and Kaleigh can talk about Soarin. That is her new favaorite ride.
Glad you got your tooth fixed.

Julie: I am jealous. I want my docs! I sent you an e-mail about a detour. I tried to call you, but your answering machin wasn't on.

Barb: DO you never stop? We bought the autograph book like everyone else.

Not sure what is going on with Jazzy. His heart is somewhat enlarged, but they didn't think enough to cause his sypmtoms. They are going to talk to a cardioloigst and get their opinion. In the meantime, we put him on Antibiotics and benadryl. Now, he is even more sleepy.

They really worked me at PT today. They made me walk backwards on the treadmill for 6 minutes. That is not easy! They added some other new stuff too.

We did school this evening. Luckily it was a short lesson.

Tomorrow is cleaning and picking up Kaleigh's cake and balloons and pizza and then the party.

Gotta go get the munchkin to bed.

Good Morning!

Burr it is cold here. Sunny but still cold. I finished my Christmas cards yesterday 76 in all. They were a lot of work but fun. Jaymee and I are going tanning then to breakfast then I am going to work on stockings. I still have 19 to finish. I would like to put names on the Missionettes ones. Maybe sequins hummm I have 24 Missionettes and some of their names are long...Rebekah, Victoria, etc.. The stockings may be to small for the long names.

Today is Jason's birthday. Michelle and Jason are coming down for the weekend although I will only see them for a short time. We are going to dinner tonight with them. Tomorrow they are helping her grandmother move and having dinner with her family.

I have my secret santa gift bought and ready to send. I am trying to stay ahead this year. Do we have specifics yet???

Barb: I can't rally even think about Christmas right now. I do have some gifts for Kaleigh purchased though. Heck, I can't even think about Halloween. I am just not into it this year.

Kaleigh's party turned out really nice. She had a blast playing with all the kids. Julie's kids stayed for a few hours after she left since they hadn't been here that long. Jerry took them home later. I must have overdone the cleaning because my SI joint is really acting up. I have iced it a couple times today.

Tomorrow Kaleigh and I have doctor appointments. She has her 4 year check-up and I need new asthma meds and a breathing test. At some point, we need to do school.

I think Jazzy is feeling better. He doesn't seem to be coughing as much or snuffling as much. He is worn out today after making the rounds at Kaleigh's party.

Hera was not a happy camper with all the people in the house yesterday. She peed on a bathroom rug. Of course, I had just washed them yesterday.

If Kaleigh is feeling up to it, we are going out to dinner tomorrow since tomorrow is her actual birthday. I think she gets shots at the doctor. I know, I am a mean mom for making her get shots on her birthday. But, I figured since her party was on Saturday, she wouldn't really care too much about her actual birthday.

We had 15 discharges today and they asked if anyone wanted to go home early and I raised my hand and jumped at that chance! Talked with Joyce and the case settled and she didn't have to serve on the jury Friday.

SANDY: I had my teeth cleaned on Thursday but no problems.

Still no grandbaby. She has an appointment on Thursday and if she isn't delivered by then, they are going to induce her on Friday. She is SOOOOOOO big.

Just started raining here and the Jack Russell goes crazy when it rains and thunders. I think it is going to be a LONG night.

Last to post. First to post. What's up with that?

Started doing the wash but I am off to the eye doctor for an 11:30 AM appointment. Today is my visual fields test. I hate this test after a few minutes I can't tell if I see the flash or not!

The EAGLES did win even though they tried to lose at the end. The PHILLIES are now 1/2 game ahead in the wild card race. Things are looking up for the Philadelphia teams.

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY KALEIGH!!

Hi guys! Finally things have calmed down around here. This weekend was a blurr! Makenzie won her soccer game on Sat. 3-0!! She played goalie and played the entire game. She was the only one who did!!! We had a brownie nature hike that we didn't stay long (Makenzie says she didn't go since we didn't do the "activities" they had planned, didn't even get out on the trail but she still got to listen to the guide about the different plants and talked about the different things to look for and smell, which to a kid is boring, but oh well) We had to get the kids from my moms and then out to Kaleigh's birthday. We got there 1/2 hour earlier then I thought we would get there. Got to see Kaleigh open her gifts and have cake then I had to leave to go help out with Garry's DUI check point. I had to bake bakery for the guys and then serve them their food (we cooked hamburgers last time, this time the city council SUPPLIED food, but I had to serve the guys. It was fun to watch them all in action! Got home around close to midnight (my mom put the kids to bed) and then Garry got home around 1am. They did get a drunk!

Yesterday we decided to go to the Browns game and did get to see a good game. We lost in the last 30 SECS, but we almost won! Someday!

Back to school today! I've got to pick up this house today and TRY to get things done. I'm also trying to get the things I'm going to ship to the cruise ready, so I can send it by wednesday.

My baby is 4 today!

Well, no doctors appointment today, he called in sick. We go on Thursday instead. So, we got to do school at normal time. We did 2 lessons again. We are going to finish in February if we keep up this pace.

We are going to Bucca di Beppa tonight for Kaleigh's birthday.

My SI joint is feeling better. Not great, but better. I took a long nap yesterday.

Jeanne: She can still have that baby today!

Barb: I am sure Ethan has grown since you have seen them. You will be glad to have them home.

Anyone else like Jim Shore stuff? I think the stuff is neat, but it is a bit expensive. It doesn't stop me from looking though.

Vacation is really creeping up on me. I need to think about what I am going to wear. I have to try stuff on first. I know a couple of things.

I am back!!!!!! I am swamped at work but just thought I would say hello to everyone!!! I only ready the one page so I hope all is well.

Lets just say that I am not rushing off to go back to Houston. Pretty much ended the way it started. On the last night I was there, I went up to my room to change because we were all going to dinner. I heard water running and went to the bathroom to a soaked floor. I slipped and hurt my back and have had really bad headaches since then. The housekeeping left the shower on and it was spraying all day and bouncing off the tub and tons of water on the floor. I was so glad to go home and thankfully the flight home went off well.

As soon as I got home I quickly went to my sister's house. I missed her so much (and the babies). My BIL got me some roach spray killing stuff so I picked that up from them and then went to dinner with Chris.

My coworker teases me that Chris and I fell back into "puppy love" while on vacation because we missed each other a lot in that week that I was in TX.

Saturday night, we went to my sister's house and shared pictures and souveniers. She made dinner and it was a great time.

Sunday - I finally was so worn down that I was sick. I slept most of the day and poor Chris had to do all the laundry. He is so great.

When I get some time I will do a trip report for all and hopefully add some pictures.

Stace - thanks so much for keeping everybody updated, that was very nice of you.

Went for my visual fields test but forgot my "referral". I couldn't remember if he still had a referral for the test or not so it was cancelled until next month. Quick summary of my trip to Houston:
Monday: Plane was supose to take off from Denver at 3:15, we boarded at 2:45 and did not take off until 4:00. I was supose to get in to TX at 6:00 but ended up arriving at 7:30 to find that Bush Airport closes down at 8:00. First off, they lost my bags but managed to find them. Then I had 3 airport shuttles to choose from.....gave the first one $20 and 20 minutes later the girl takes off for the night...eventually found out that last shuttle took off before I even purchased my ticket so I finally got a refund. 2nd shuttle company was nice but found out later after waiting that they do not go out to the "medical plaza" hotels...that leaves the 3rd shuttle company left and their shuttle took off 5 minutes before and would have to wait for an hour until another one comes. NO WAY, done waiting...took a cab for $60. Got to the hotel at 10:30 at night.

Tuesday: Coworker finds roaches in her room, boss wakes up to bugs crawling all over him. I finally saw my beautiful view of the condemned pool (ok, not really condemned...but should have been) Someone from another agency tells me we are located in a "high crime" area, great the entrance to my hotel hallway is unlocked and outside of hotel lobby.

Wednesday - woke up with bug bites on my ankle from sleeping in the bed. My coworker woke up with bites as well. Went to conference rooms that smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms were freezing cold and we all ended up sick.

Thursday - Came back to the room to change for dinner. I heard water running so went to the bathroom to see what I can find.......As I walked into the bathroom, I saw the ceiling. Yes, that's right, the floor was soaked and had puddles on it from housekeeping leaving the shower on all day and I slipped. Had to file an incident report with the hotel and they wanted to drive me to the hospital, I refused and asked if they could drive me home instead!!!!!!!

Good points of Houston: Many things to laugh with coworkers about, found a really good steak house (SaltGrass), discovered you can use roach spray on your luggage that smells like an air freshner, and learned that the Galleria is an awesome mall!!!!!!!!

By the way, if you need a rental car company...DO NOT use EZ Rental. We had to pick up the vans outside a Holiday Inn and dropped the vans off outside a Subway Restaurant. They close at 8:00pm, possibly so they can go and steal more cars. Definitely you get what you paid for comes in mind here.

Barb - I booked the same cruise that my sister is going on, September 15th. It is the 7 day Eastern. I am kind of holding out to see what they announce for 2008 since the Magic will be 10 years in 2008, I am hoping they have a big celebration and a special cruise.

Wow Heidi sounds like you had a interesting time! Hope you are feeling better after the fall. That is cool about the Magic turing 10 in 2008. I have heard rumores of the Magic going to Hawaii in 2008. That would be really fun. We are going on a cruise in 2007 but not sure which one yet. We are booked on the European cruise but I just don't think I want to go. It is really expensive and none of the kids can go. So I may just move my deposit to another one.

Season premier of Gilmore Girls tonight. I love that show. Jaymee and I will be glued to the TV tonight!
