October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Hi guys! Just checking in here.

Barb, how nerve racking was that few hours! As Garry said, if you ONLY KNEW who all has guns and WHERE.... the guy in the car next to you at the light, the old lady who just stole your parking space, it's scary when you think about it. I'm glad everything worked out though. Not so good for the the Colorado school yesterday, I can't even imagine what the parents of the 16yr old girl who died must feel like.

Heidi, we have an HP desktop, an EMachine desktop, (an older HP in the Makenzie's room, it use to be Garry's but when he got his new one, we put that in her room) and a DELL inspiron laptop. I know Garry looks for memory size and speed (he needed the speed for some flight simulators, that he has NO time for now) and video card, I think (can you tell I know NOTHING about computers! LOL). I bought me EMachine for price and it works just fine for me. I use it for about the same reasons that you are looking into getting one, expect I'm a "door sign" making dummy! LOL! But I do agree with Barb, DO NOT get one like your mother's OR get it at the same place she got hers!

Denine, the purple unitard is on it's way!!!! Be ready!!! The Great Grapes..... Disney cut backs.... Is it sail away time yet?

Jeanne, no baby yet? I will do the "delivery dance" for her! I was induced with Makenzie and SUPPOSE to be induced with Brooke, BUT when I went in the night before to get the cervidil (sp) It took less then 2 hours for my water to break on it's own. With both girls, it didn't take long at all. With Makenzie, I started the patosin (sp) at 7am, Dr.broke my water at 10:30am, got me "epi" at 11:30am, slept for 1 1/2hours, started pushing at 2:30pm-ish, 6 pushes later and at 3:10pm out she came. With Brooke, I went REAL fast until my "epi" and then I stalled only for an hour or two. My water broke at 2:45am at 1cm, at 5:30 am was at 8cm stalled, then had her at 9:44am. Please keep us posted!

Well, gonna go. I'll be back. Going to do last minute cruise stuff HOPEFULLY today.

Wow, I just read my other post and spelled out red dot on her knows instead of Nose!!!! Really, I really do know how to spell!!!!!!

Tomorrow is my scheduled day off. I wasn't going to take it but when I got back to work and realized my back up did hardly anything for me while I was gone and left it for me to do when I got back and I am already caught up, I decided I can take it. Stacey found this really cute place that we are taking Joey and Tyler to. It's called Monkey Business. I will also be taking my pictures to get developed!!!

Just trying to get some stuff done. Have to leave in about 40 minutes to get to our DR appointments. Kaleigh is upset because she can't watch Handy Manny today.

Off to work tomorrow, then PT, then school for Kaleigh.

Barb: Since you have the extra time, how about doing my Christmas shopping and wrapping?

Printer won't print black ink again. The thing is completely clogged. Jerry needs to buy some stuff that may help for $14. If it doesn't, we are going to have to get a new printer.

Cold and rainy today. It is 54 and falling.

DR appointments went well. Asthma is in check and Kaleigh is 41" and 34#. She is officially tall enough for the "Big" rides at WDW. No shots yesterday. I am going to have her get them all next year. I was afraid if I got some this time, that next time she wouldn't want to go to the dr.

PT went well and so did work. It was really cold and rainy all morning though. It did get sunny and warmer by afternoon.

I am looking forward to my reunion tomorrow night. It should be fun.

I miss our people without computers!

Jeanne: Any baby yet?

Julie: Jerry wants to know if we can just drink wine MADE from grapes intstead of dressing like them?

Good Morning

Saturday morning and I have so much I want to accomplish today. Jaymee and I are going tanning getting ready for Hawaii. I finished sewing all 60 stockings but decided to put a felt gingerbread boy of the front of the Missionttes. I made one up yesterday and found that the gingerbread boys are more work then the entire stocking! But it was cute so I am going to do it. Need to go to the mall and we have a wedding tonight. Should be a full day. Tomorrow we have church then at 3:00 I have to pick up dinner for a staff meeting and set up for it. I will be at the church the rest of the night so there is no getting anything done tomorrow!

My Mom can not get logged in anymore. She has sent for a password but can't get on. Not sure why.

Missy is home and Ethan has grown. Now I just have to get use to having her in the house again. I am a neat freak and she is not. I like schedules and organization. She is totally different then me. It will take some time. I need a way of reminding her of my house rules without being mean. But since this is a long term situation I will lose it if I don't. Help

I pulled out my senior yearbook, man all that 80's hair! I forgot so many of the people I went to school with. I wonder how many will be there tonight?

Still on the baby watch. No baby yet. It is a good thing she didn't go into labor Thursday or Friday because EVERY bed was occupied and we have 80 maternity beds and as soon as a patient was discharged another was in her bed. It was a VERY busy two days. I don't like any pregnant woman going pass their due date - bad things happen. I already decided if nothing happens by this Thursday (one week pass her due date), I am going to talk to someone.

HEIDI: We have a H-P 1905 and so far so good . I agree with the suggestion that you shouldn't get the same computer as your mom.

Good Morning!

The wedding was loads of fun last night. I actually learned (well sort of) the Electric Slide. I am so uncordinated when it comes to counting stepping turning clapping.... It was fun though.

How was the reunion Denine? Did you see a lot of old friends?

Jeanne-Almost baby time! Keep us posted.

My little Ethan is such a live wire. He never walks only runs, he climbs on everything and talks non stop all the time. He is such a cutie.

Jaymee and I went tanning yesteday and to the mall. We shopped for clothes for Hawaii. It was fun.

I did manage to get eyes on all the gingerbread so they are ready to sew on the stockings. I also made this bag Tiffany wanted me to make for one of her friends. She wants to wrap her friends birthday gift in a book bag thing with vintage buttons all over it. I found some material and made a bag a little smaller then a pillow case with a draw string. I bought some of the coolest vintage looks charms for it. Should be cute when it is done. I left the charm sewing for Tiffany to do since the gift is from her.

Tonight is staff meeting at church. I pick up the food at 3:00 from Zio's. Sure makes my Sundays short when I have to be at the church at 3:00. Once I get home it is bed time.

I have to tell you what happened last weekend with my wedding ring.... Saturday night I was getting ready for bed and looked down and noticed my heart shaped diamond was gone out of my ring. Bob was already in bed and I told him I lost my diamond. Earlier that day I spent with my Mom and Jaymee shopping, going to lunch, trying on clothes, we even changed vehicles at my Moms house. I had lost one of my earrings the one of the dressing rooms. I noticed it when we were leaving the mall. Jaymee ran back in and found it still on the floors hours later if you can believe that. Well Sunday morning I was down on my hands and knees in the living room searching the floor and I noticed Bob was looking all over too. I was sure I lost it in the mall or one of the other stops. I was pretty sad. Well about an hour later Bob comes in the house holding my diamond!! He found in the van in the drivers side door in the pocket thing under his gloves!! What a miracle!! I still am shocked it was found. God sure answered my prayer!

Hey Julie, have you set the guidelines for the gift exchange yet? When should we start mailing? When will we open them? That seems to be the hardest date to set. Did you hear back from everyone letting you know for sure they wanted to be in it?

I am setting our April Disney trip up. We are going from April 27th to May 8th. Over Ethan's second birthday. I will have to start thinking of a way to make it really special for him. We are staying at the Beach club this time. I love that resort. I have to reserve one day at a time. What a pain! I will be glad when it all done. I am looking forward to seeing the flower festival. The very first year we went to Disney we were there during that time but had no idea what was going on. I have wanted to go back ever since then to really enjoy it.

I will try and post a picture of the gingerbraed stockings. Remember last January I made Ethan's Christmas stocking? I will try and post that one too. It turned out so cute. Wish I had Heidi's gift for knowing how to post pictures.

Had an interesting time last night. Ran into a couple of people that I was friends with before high school and then we ran in different circles. So many of the "popular" people weren't there. Also, the people that I hung out with in high school weren't there either. The music was TOOOOO loud. You couldn't hear yourself think let alone try to carry on conversations. The food was pretty good. I had too much wine to drink! It was only supposed to go to 11:30, but we left at closer to midnight casue we had to get Kaleigh. There were still a lot of people there when we left.
Kaleigh had a good time at grandma's, but wouldn't go to sleep. She was still up at 12:30 when we got there! She did fall asleep in the car, but got up at 8:15 this morning!
I may go again in another 10-15 years if they have one. We will see.

Jeanne: You need to do some kind of baby dance!

Barb: At least you found you diamond! I have lost the little round diamonds in my engagement ring, like last Saturday, but never the big diamond. I guess I need to knock on wood now! DONE!
Barb, you will love the Flower Festival. You need to take Ethan to a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's for his birthday and get him a "today is my birthday" button from guest services. Everyone will treat him extra special that day. Don't go to the character breakfast at the Beach Club, it was very disappointing.

Back to the grind tomorrow. School in the morning, PT in the early afternoon, stop at the library and pick up new reading packet and drop off books.

I can't wait for vacation!

My mom's computer has now been shipped out to the Geek Squads Headquarters so they said she should get her computer in 5-7 days. She is dying without her computer.

Barb - I don't have any advice on what you could do to help Missy get on your schedule and organization. That is tough to get someone who is not so clean on the same schedule as a neat freak. I am no way near a neat freak, although I wish I was. Thank goodness Bob found your diamond, I would be so sad if that happened to me.

If anyone is trying to email me through my AOL account, I am sorry if you felt I have ignored you. I cannot log on to AOL at all anymore. I was lucky one day last week but haven't been able too since.

Denine - anything else exciting happen at your reunion. It sounds like you had an okay time.

Jeanne - still no baby. What kind of bad things can happen?

Heidi, tell your mom we miss her! How was your weekend? I'm with you, I'm not a neat freak and I wish I was. My house is such a mess! Just when I think I'm gonna get this house in order, something comes up and I put the house on hold. If you ask Garry, I've put the house on hold for the last 10 yrs! LOL!!! So did the twins fall in love with disney? I know you were a little disappointed in their reactions when they found out they were going, I hope that all changed when they got there.

Denine, where was your reunion at? I haven't gone to any of mine. In 2008 will my 20th and who knows if our class will have one. I didn't make it to my 10th because I was prego with Makenzie and my "best friend" from high school was suppose to call me and we were going to go together and I called her and got her machine. Here I find out she DID go and I haven't spoken to her since. I have TRIED on my part to get in contact with her, but she hasn't returned any letters, or calls. She was my maid of honor in my wedding. Garry thinks because I got married and had children that she (who never go married) couldn't handle the fact that I moved on. Oh well, don't want to bore you all with my "lost friend" story.

Julie: Garry always misses the fun stuff. It was pretty yucky on Saturday. The reunion was in Chagrin Falls at a place called Edward's Crystal Brook Farm. It was a nice enough place. It turned out that it was owned by a classmate's dad. It seemed that the people I didn't want to hang around with in High school were pretty much the same. They all went back to their same cliques at the party and didn't bother talking to anyone else. I guess they haven't all grown up. One girl I was good friends with growing up and in high school was there. The problem was, we had nothing in common anymore. She lives in Germany, not married, no family. So, she is living the career girl life in another country and I am living the family life. I guess I didn't miss anything by not going to my 10th. I did enjoy getting out with Jerry for a few hours though!

Poor Sandy. Why don't they just give up and give her a new computer!

Kaleigh didn't want to do school this morning. I think mostly she was tired. All she wanted to do was watch TV, but she wasn't getting away with that! I told her that even if we didn't do school, she wasn't watching TV. So, we only did 1 lesson today instead of 2 and then looked at a book she got for her birthday. Unfortunately, she doesn't get a nap today becasue I have to go to PT. Friday is my last day of PT and I am glad!

Now, if I could just figure out what to give Miss Picky for lunch.

Julie - the girls LOVED disney. I can post more pictures, but didn't want to bore you all!!!! In fact this weekend they were STILL very excited about vacation!!! Just listening to them talk about it was so much fun. They were talking about their favorite rides and the rides they hated. We looked at some pictures and had a lot of fun talking about it. They told us that next time they want to go on the cruise with us...just not 10 days!!! Hopefully we can take them on a 4 day one soon.

Hi guys, I just MADE time and decided to come down to this OLD computer. Best Buy was all ready to give us back our Sony VAIO computer on Saturday but we told them that to us it looked like they were putting us off until December when the warranty expires. We were very FORTUNATE to get a girl new to our store and she looked at it some more because of our questions and realized that SHE was wrong this last time she looked at it. Ted invited himself behind the counter as she worked and continued to ask questions so she looked into it in more depth. We left the store and was told to return in a half hour and we would get the results of the tests. It came back different than the previous test so now they really don't know what is wrong but feel it is the mother board. On top of it, another guy that worked on it happened to help us when we returned so he then knew that it is a sporatic problem. He reran some of the girls tests and it took a very long time to boot. Thankfully so. I think that is what clinched the deal. It all just worked out so good for us this last Saturday. I guess it was Best Buys way of a birthday present for me. lol It is so hard for me not to have the other computer but I am now feeling like it will get fixed this time.

I still haven't even put on our vacations pics on the computer or anything. I want to share a couple of them with you guys.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!! I talked to Bonnie late last night and she went to her new grandson's, Christian, christening. Everything went great. She had such a great time with Olivia. She is proud of her Christian's blue eyes. Ryan and Melinda were very good to her.

Jeanne, I so wanted Zoey to be born on my birthday but after you put it that it was your ex's. Nah, not a good idea. Can't wait for the birth. Please let us know as soon as you can.

Julie, Denine, Barb, Stacey and Heidi. Thanks for keeping the thread alive. I am so proud of you guys!

Don't expect me to post everyday but I will when I can.
