Welcome home cruisers!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Heidi, I hope Chris is feeling better.

Sandy, you and the dudettes didn't get into TOOOO much trouble I hope! :rotfl:

Today I had a wedding shower to go to. It was the dispatcher's son's, so I didn't know too many people, but it was nice. Last night was the father/daughter dinner and dance for Makenzie's brownie troop. Garry and Makenzie looked so nice. I went since I'm an assistant troop leader and we were the servers, but I was in the shadows. Makenzie was sooooooo happy to be there with her father. She just kept smiling and looking up at him. She told us that last night was her best day ever! The girls got a rose and she won a build a bear cert. It was a nice evening.

Well gonna go! Can't wait to hear from all of you!

Hi Barb! Hi Sally!!! I hope you can post soon!

TTFN

Good Morning!

Our Cruisers must be really tired. Unlike Sandy not to post!

Denine-Very cute idea making the beginning of school such a big deal. I bet Kaleigh is really excited! Do you plan on "Home Schooling" for all her elementry years or just preschool? Do you have a good support group?

Julie- The Father/Daughter dance sounds really cute. We are "Tentatively planning one for the Missionettes in the Spring. I would love to hear what all you guys did for it.

Got 25 of my Christmas cards done and another 25 half done. I also finished 25 of the stockings. I should finish the other 25 stockings this week and my cards by the weekend. YAY!

Good morning everyone!!

Everyone is back. They had a lot of problems getting back. My family was stuck in Oklahoma for a couple of hours (I think) sitting on the plane because they couldn't land in TX because of the storm. They finally made it home after nine last night so they are exhausted. Talked to my mom this morning and she was busy unpacking. I'm sure she'll post sometime today. Heidi's plane takes off this afternoon so I won't be able to see her until next weekend (hopefully) :sad2: I'm going to try and stop by my parents house today to see them. They can't get near my kids though because my mom is sick.

Barb- my kids are doing sign language. I can't believe how easy they picked it up...it's a lot of fun and it is really cute huh!!! They can sign eat, milk, more, all done. We are now working on please, thank you and help. Joey has picked up on please pretty well. We started those this weekend. You should check out the Sign With Your Baby set by Joseph Garcia. I rent it at the library because I don't want to fork out the money.

Anyway, that's all for now. I have to run and bring our down comforter to the dry cleaners...they cat peed on it this weekend. :sad2:

Have a good day!!

Julie: I am sure Makenzie loved being with daddy! The dance sounds nice.

Stacey: I guess the cruisers needed to take their airborne! Too bad about the delays getting home. I never signed with Kaleigh. Glad it is working out.

Barb: You go girl!

Kaleigh had a good day at school. She was happy to hear we were going to do it everyday. Today was easy. I am planning on home schooling as long as I can. If we make it through High School it will be a miracle.

Tonight is Macaroni Grill. The kids get an ice cream sundae with their dinner.

Gotta go get the munchkin down for her nap.

Hi all. I don't know if I will be on tomorrow. We have to take the Rendezvous in to get new wheel bearins put on. I am doing school with Kaleigh and I have PT in the afternoon.

Dinner out was nice. Kaleigh had pizza with a lot left. They give the kids huges pizzas. Kaleigh kept asking for a cherry on her sundae, so the server brought er 4 cherries, she ate them all, and first. Also, when we were ready to leave, her brought Kaleigh a gladiola for celebrating her first day of pre-school. That made her feel really special. I took her picture with the flower when we got home.

Jerry got his pirate costume today. It looks really good. Suffice it to say, we will all need to help each other get our costumes on for pirate night, but we will look great!

After a couple of nice days, we are to head back into the cooler.

 Sorry to read about the Van Horn's trip home. Our plane was full but Joyce and I had bulkhead seats which are usually tight but these were nice & roomy. Bonnie was back further since she uses her frequent flyer miles and doesn't book with us. The arrival was right on time! :hourglass

I am exhausted. The cruise was fantastic. :thumbsup2 Loved being in five different Ports of Call but it was hectic because they were all one day after another. Food was great :stir: (as usual). I do think The Wonder doesn't quite know what to do with a ten day cruise. The Magic is more together with the longer cruises. Saw Ducky :artist: and we all got a special lithograph in our stateroom! Shows were terrific. Loved Pirate's Night pirate:. The best part was being with our friends/family. :grouphug:

Been washing all day today and in between I went to Shoprite & Sam's Club. Of course there is no food in the house. Then I cleaned the backyard since the dogs poop has accumulated for two weeks :p

Still waiting :rolleyes1 to become a grandmother. She has an appointment Wednesday and I told her to stop in so we can have lunch together.

It's nice to see you did a good job keeping the board going :surfweb: Off to work Tuesday and Wednesday. Poor Joyce has to work today :guilty: Missed you all. :grouphug: Toodles  JEANNE

Good Morning!

Welcome back Jeannie! Glad you all had a good time. Seems like it went by really fast.

Denine- The "Pirate" pirate: costumes sound so cute. Can't wait to see your picture! YAY Kaleigh!! princess: First day of school was a success!!!

Bob and I went to the store and to dinner. Nothing exciting.
I brought some Disney scrapbook stuff in today to work hope to work on it in between calls.

Poor Heidi. She called me last night. She had another very rough day. It started out that her plane didn't leave for another hour after it was supposed to. Again, she was stuck inside because there was something wrong with the plane and they had to fix it. Once she finally got to TX, she couldn't find her luggage. After searching for quite sometime, they finally found it. She paid to have a shuttle take her to the hotel and she got screwed with that. THe person that took her money took off and she couldn't find anyone else that worked there. She finally found someone and they were going to figure out what to do. She ended up finding out that the last shuttle had already taken off and they were going to refund her money. Now she was stuck at the airport. Other stuff happened but she finally found someone else that got screwed and they shared a cab. Her room is nasty and she is just ready to come home. Hopefully now that she met up with everyone she is doing better. I'm going to call her in a little and check on her.

Don't know where my mom is. I've talked to her on the phone. I'm sure she is busy getting things done. She also has Graci today I think.

Nothing new and exciting here. I am taking a section of my CMA test on Thursday...hopefully I pass. We are also going to do a garage sale this weekend so hopefully the weather holds out!!!

Hi guys,

Thanks for wondering about me. Just been horribly busy after vacation. We had a terrific time. Thanks Stacey for keeping everyone abreast of our vacation. Jeanne pretty much hit it all. The highlight of my cruise was swimming with the turtles in Barbados. It was soooo cool. There were so many of them and they got close enough to touch. Then in Antiqua we went to an all inclusive resort for a day pass. IT was beautiful. If it wasn't for pirate night we would have stayed longer. Speaking of pirate night, I will have to have Heidi post a couple of pics of all of us dressed up. Like Stacey said, Heidi is having a very hard last few days. I just got off the phone with her and things seem to be getting better. Now I found out that Chris is not feeling any better and is having problems at work. Can it get any worse?

Yes, I have a slight cold. Not half as sick as Chris though.

I am sure I am forgetting a few things but have to run. I have to pick up Graci soon.

Again, welcome home cruisers! Can't wait to hear more details. I am living on details until we cruise.

Sorry to hear Heidi is having problems in Texas.

We had a very busy day yeaterday, but my car is fixed and QUIET again. We took pictures of Peter Pan to the bakery for Kaleigh's cake.

School is going very well. We doubled up on lessons yesterday and today. A lot of it is review for Kaleigh. It does seem to make her more tired though.

I am trying to get used to getting up at 6:45 every day so I can shower and dress before Kaleigh gets up. I am NOT a morning person.

I forgot to say that Kaleigh calls me teacher in school. "OK, teacher", "what's next teacher?" stuff like that. It is cute. She started it on her own.

I am glad I am not making anything for Kaleigh's party on Saturday. It is at 4 PM. Too much to get used to with teaching Kaleigh.

Denine, sounds like Kaleigh is ready and willing for school. She is so cute.

I come home and the thread is dead. Come on people. Help Denine and me out.

Heidi now has reported that this fantastic hotel she is staying in is infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. Her big boss refuses to move them to a different hotel. Others have moved. Poor Heidi!

Been busy working the past two days and when I say busy. I mean BUSY. Poor Joyce had Jury Duty today and got picked for a jury and now has to go the rest of the week and maybe Monday too!

There are so many great things to say about the trip to WDW and the cruise. We loved pictures with Jack Sparrow pirate:, the shows :dance3: , the pool, movies popcorn:: and especially sharing times with friends :grouphug: Loved all the different Ports of Call. St. Thomas has Magen's Bay, Paradise Point and most important of all BUSHWACKERS! St. Lucia with a tour of the Island. Barbados had kayaking and TURTLES!!! Antigua - with a great day at Pineapple Beach. Capt. Henry was so personable.

SANDY: I am sorry already that I didn't book with you guys in September. Send me the date again. I would also love to do WDW as cheaply as we did it this year :thumbsup2.

Tomorrow I am off to the Dentist for my check-up and a cleaning.

DENINE: Kaleigh is going to make you so proud in school :teacher:

Well we had a Windy Wednesday here but what a nice change. Hope you all have a naughty night. Toodles  JEANNE

Hi guys! Glad to hear that everyone had a great time on the cruise. I hope you guys can post pictures soon!

Sandy, poor Heidi! Is there anyway she can move to another hotel? I'm sure it would be at her cost, but I wouldn't be staying at that place! I have a question for you. I sent you a PM about a question about you cruise.

Jeanne, are you guys still planning for Dec 2007? If not, I would like to get together with all of you since we didn't cruise together. that is if you guys don't mind tagalongs! We've got to have lunch together again! LOL! Tell Joyce to keep her head up! I hope the jury she is on will be a short one.

Denine, glad that school is going well. I hope that everything continues. We might be late to Kaleigh's party. We have a soccer game at 12pm, then we have a nature hike with the Brownies, then we will get to the party and then I have to meet Garry at the DUI check point that the city is having that night. Nice night huh, cold and rainy. But the kids and I will be there for a little while.

Stacey, good luck on your CPA test today!!!

Barb, how's your mom? Is her computer getting better? Tell her we miss her!

Well, gotta go! I'll be back later!

TTFN

Hello everyone!!

Thought I would post before turing in. I have spent the evening in my craft room. I now have 39 out of 60 Christmas stockings done and 52 Christmas cards done.

I am talking to Tiffany on IM. She is doing well and LOVES school. I told her about the Gingerbread house kit I bought for her floor to put together and she thinks they will like it. Phew. I was a little worried.

Moms computer is still not working right. Not sure what they will do with it.

Hi all, just a quickie. THe stupid computer took 15 minutes to boot up and now it is time for Graci. I hope I can talk Ted into taking the thing in tonight.

Poor Joyce. I can't believe being this tired and then having jury duty.

Julie and Denine, when do you sail? We were kind of disappointed in the ship stores. It just seemed like an extension of WDW stuff and clearanced DCL stuff with odd sizes. Hope the Magic is better for you.

Barb, you have got to get out and take a breather. Seems like you are just too busy. I was wondering what happened to your mom. After all, Amazing Race is on. We need to talk about it. lol

Good Morning!

Burrr it is cold and raining out today. The wind is really blowing. Since I have been working on Christmas cards and stockings and watching Christmas movies I decided to load up my CD player with Christmas CD's and listen to them on the way to work.

Hope everyone is doing good today. How is the weather in Denver Sandy?

Hi guys!

Barb, it is about 55 degrees but sunny here. Boy we jumped from summer to winter like that! I CAN THINK about Christmas, but that's about it. Too many things to do BEFORE christmas. I admire you!

Sandy, sorry to hear about you computer problems, AGAIN! I think you need a whole new computer on the company's expense! We sail on the 14th of Oct. We are leaving 5:30pm on the 11th and will be at the BWV before the crusie.

Since we are going to at Disney those few days before, we are going to the MNSSHP Thursday and on Friday, since we are annual passholders and DVC members, we get to "ride" the new Nemo ride at the living seas. There is a special preview that day for passholders and DVC members so I'm excited. They say the technology is like turtle talk with Crush. So I will let you guys know.

Well, gotta go. I'll be back later!

ttfn

Sandy: I agree with Julie. I would fork over the extra dough to get out of that fleabag establishment that Heidi is in. Sorry about the computer again.

Julie: As long as you guys come. Kaleigh will be SO disappointed if you don't. All she talks about is her friends being there. At least it is supposed to be warmer on Saturday, but raining.

Jeanne: Everything sounds wonderful. Too bad Joyce got jury duty. I hope it is an intersting case.

With school, it is after 11 AM before I know what happens. Kaleigh loves it though. Today we went on a nature "hike" to find leaves and stuff.

I need to drop stuff off at the donation center sometime between 2:30 and 4 PM. We need to eat dinner and have Jasper at the vet by 4:50 PM. I am concerend that he has CHF. He has had a heart murmur, but he seems to be breathing harder and coughing more. Send us some pixie dust.

I work tomorrow, so I don't know when we will do school. I will try in the evening to see how that works.

We are cleaning all day on Saturday before the party.

Sunday, I am collapsing!

Barb: How can you watch Christmas movies in September? I know you are working on Christmas stuff, but still.

I need to learn how to make a fall wreath for the front door that will withstand the weather and wind. I don't know when though. I still need to wrap Kaleigh's presents.

Julie: Jerry is still thinking about cruising next year. He is even willing to get a Cat 10 to make it cheaper. I don't know. We need to do stuff around here that costs money. We are going in December 2007 though. Looking forward to that.

Christmas Exchange: How much are we spending this year?

Jerry is changing offices at the end of next week. He won't be Downtown anymore, so no more public transportation. He is moving out to Tiedeman which is closer and easier to get to. Unfortunately, he will have a new phone number. That will be hard for me to get used to. He has had this one for so long.

:santa: Falalalalala

I would like information too on the gift exchange.

Denine when would you cruise next year? I am looking at Oct.
