October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

It is VERY easy to DVR Big Brother. By the way, it won't be on here in CO tonight. It will air something like 1:40 AM tomorrow morning. YES, I said AM. I looked it up in the guide and recorded it for us to watch tomorrow.

Got my paper racks today so have to completely rearrange my scrapbook room....they take up more room than I thought they would.

I didnt get to say goodbye since I wasn't on yesterday and had to work today.
I hope you all have a terrific time at WDW and on the cruise. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Boy, who needs Curves when you have PT! She is really working my abdominals and I found out my Right quadriceps are very tight. It seems everthing on my right side is messed up after dealing with the since February.

I received my Disney switchplates today. They are so neat. I can't wait to put them up tomorrow.

I have so much yardwork to do this weekend. We have had so much rain these past few days that all the weeds are growing like crazy.

We had a nice time at the fair. We spent about 7 hours there. I got licked by a cow. Didn't do too bad food wise.

My allergies are bothering me after yesterday so my eyes are bugging me. I'll be on tomorrow.

Guess I missed saying goodbye too. Bob and I ran errands yesterday then I had an appointment at 1:00. After I got home we left right away to go to Wal-Mart then dinner and a movie. I cleaned the refridgerator this morning and am organizing my scrap book room.

OK, if we are going to keep this thread going while everyone is gone, I need some help!

Today has been nothing but cold and rain. Typical for Labor Day weekend.

We did go to Trader Joes for some stuff.

Made home made pasta and home made sauce for dinner. Bought a loaf of asiago cheese bread at TJ's and had a nice bottle of red zinfandel. Now, I am full.

I put on the new switchplates. They look really nice.

My tummy muscles are sore from those exercises at PT yesterday.

Julie: Is Garry going to that cops funeral? How sad and scary. Do you get scared when you hear stuff like that? I would. But then I guess you can't get scared over everything or you would never survive.

I guess I am going to be talking to myself until everyone gets back from their cruise.

Just reminding myself that I won't be on tomorrow since I work in the morning and then we are going to Jerry's mom's for dinner.

What do I do today?

Well, we spent the day working in the yard pulling weeds. Then we transplanted 5 trees from the side of the house to the backyard. It was gloomy for most of the day, but the sun has finally come out.

Well, I guess I will talk to myself on Tuesday.

I am here to help keep the thread alive. I do know what you mean Denine about talking to yourself and now I don't even have you!

Sounds like a busy day for you. I worked on the Halloween goodie bags for Tiffany and my missionettes. I sewed 52 bags and now all I have to do is fill them.

Today we are going to the outlet in Castle Rock to look for clothes for Hawaii. Then back to work tomorrow.

I am still trying to decide on a date for our Spring Disney trip so I can book it.

Went to the outlet mall today. Got 2 pairs shorts for Bob for Hawaii for $10 each. Got 2 pairs of pants, a jean jacket and 2 shirts for Ethan for $25 and 2 shirts for me. Jaymee found some good deals too. It was a fun day. Back to work tomorrow after 4 days off BLAH!

Hi guys! I'm not abandoning the thread either. Been busy trying to strip the woodwork in our hallway and trying to get some work outside. I did mow the front lawn and cleaned out our garage so now the Blazer and Garry's cruiser will fit in it so we don't have to scrape ice and snow off the windshield's when the snow comes.

Barb, sounds like some great deals! I wish I could have gone with you! Can I go to Hawaii with you in your luggage?

Denine, yes, Garry is going to the fallen police officer's funeral. He will probably go to the wake tomorrow afternoon and he will be at the service on Wednesday. It's been a rough week/weekend since the shooting. I think each time an officer falls, It gets harder and harder for me. I know that since Garry got promoted, his chances of getting injured in the line of duty is slim BUT there is ALWAYS a possibility!

For those of you who don't know, there was a Cleveland police officer shot and killed last Wed.night while serving a warrant to a scumbbag. It was a lucky shot through the door and the bullet hit the officer under his arm where his vest didn't protect and peirce his heart. He leaves behind a wife and 10 month old son. Even though I didn't know the family personally, it's that "family of blue" and you do feel like you have lost a family member.

Spoke to Sandy and the dudettes today. They were on their way to Canada for dinner in EPCOT. They sounded like they were having a blast! They leave on the 7th for the cruise,so if anyone watches the treads to see the Wonder/Magic leave port, there will be there!!!

Julie: I know cop funerals are usually very large. I remember living in Solon behind St. Rita's Church and the police cars just kept going and going past our house. It is sooo sad.

We need to clean out Jerry's mom's garage. No one even knows what is in there.

Sorry I have been MIA....we went camping for the weekend. What a nasty weekend it was...it rained all day Saturday. Sunday it was much nicer.

I'm glad you have talked to my mom- I haven't heard from her since Sunday. I talk to Heidi almost everyday-she seems to be having a good time. She was a brat and called me while she was on It's a Small World. Sounds like Chris and the girls are having a good time, everytime we talk they are all excited. Tonight they are going to watch Fantasmic-sure wish I was there. I'm secretly hoping she calls me so I can hear it too!!

Everyone is staying at All Star Movies in the Toy Story area.

Good Morning

Julie-Very sad about the police officer. I can't tell you how mad it makes me to hear that an officer has been shot. We had one here last year and it is so senseless.

Going back to work after 4 days off is not fun. I am ready to go home right now! Tonight is Gilmore Girls. I love that show!

My mom called my earlier this morning. It was fun because while she was on the phone with me, Chip and Dale stole her phone and gave me kisses. Then they signed I love you to me she said...

She just got done eating at the Living Seas...she said she really enjoyed it and would do it again. Richard and I ate there for dinner the last time we were there and we weren't too impressed by it...maybe there is different menus for lunch and dinner.

Sounds like they had a good time at dinner last night at Canada. They brought back the cake that the restaurant gave Bonnie for her birthday and shared it with the other people at ALM. Sure wish I was with them!!

Talked to Heidi today already too. She said the girls are starting to get tired. They were at Epcot today and were doing a scavenger hunt thing for Kim Possible. I guess you go back and forth throughout the park and it was wearing them out. Heidi decided no more and they were heading back to the hotel to go swimming and do homework. Hopefully they can get a quick nap in too. Then they are off to Magic Kingdom to finish off the girls trip...they leave tommorrow. Heidi and Chris are heading back to Magic Kingdom tomorrow to do some more things alone without the girls.

We so wish we were in WDW too! Sounds like everyone is having a blast.

Julie: When are you going in June? We need to make our reservations.

Barb: Jerry is all goofy too after being at home for several days. We went to the fair Thursday, he worked from home on Friday, we had the weekend off and then I worked on Monday and he did work from home. We have no idea what day it is!

Bought Kaleigh's birthday supplies yesterday. She doesn't want another Tinkerbell cake and I wasn't going to get one. I am having them put Peter Pan and a very small Tinkerbell on it. It also has to have pink and purple frosting, by request. Kaleigh doesn't know about PP on the cake. I will surprise her. I still have to call and order it.

PT went fine yesterday. At least my tummy muscles aren't as sore as they were on Saturday from it.

Hi there! Been having a crazy week! The Police officers' funeral really took a lot out of Garry and me too. Garry stood outside the church for 2 and 1/2 hours before the casket even got to the church. Let me tell you, with Garry's bad back, that tells you how much the brothers and sisters in blue mean to each other. He was downtown from 9:30am in formation until after 1pm. He got back to the station at 2pm. There were over 3000 officers there that morning. Today in the newspaper, there was a letter addressed to his 10mo. old son. I cried when I read it. The only thing that gets me a little miffed, is when the news people don't give the fallen officer the respect of calling him an "Officer" and call him the slang "cop". At least they could show the respect for the day. Oh well.....

Barb, it was nice chatting with you the other night. I will have to get back on IM again, but I've been trying to go to bed early the last few nights.

Well, this week, Makenzie has joined soccer! We have had two practices this week and her first game is on Sat. Her friends were on this team and they needed another player to have the right amount. Well, after asking us several times and Makenzie saying she REALLY wanted to try it, she joined up.She really likes it so far. The team just started only a week before, so she isn't far behind.

Yesterday another officer was shot. This sheriff's officer was shot in the neck, BUT he will survive his injury. Thank goodness!

Denine, I want to dress up for pirate night, but not sure in what. I have been thinking about getting costumes, but nothing set in stone. Let me guess, the costume for Kaleigh was the one with the pink stripe one, right? If we dress up, that is one night I don't have to worry about what to wear! Then I will know exactly what I'm wearing for each night for dinner. We will probably dress up (hopefully I can get Garry to dress up, and not in Pittsburgh Pirate stuff, LOL) It could be fun! We shall see!!!!
