Barb - They didn't steal my sister's purse. Her purse wasn't even inside her car, only her CD's and remote alarm thing from the bank was stolen.

Denine - sounds like you had a nice birthday.

Oh I'm sorry I guess I must be stuck on "Someone breaks into your car and they take your purse"

Barb - Do you know if Jaymee's bank account has been charged too yet? I check my accounts online so I wasn't sure if her bank account would be the same way where she could check if unwanted charges were made.

The last 2 days of work has kept me extremely busy!!!!!!! I have had to work late and today is Bring You Child to Work Day, so I will be busy chasing kids around!!!! I love HR!!!

I was sad at who got eliminated last night on Amazing Race. Especially after how generous they were on that show. I don't want to say too much just in case someone hasn't watched it. And what about American Idol?? I wasn't suprised, and that is who I guessed would be eliminated.

Heidi, I agree with you on your thoughts of the shows last night. Did you know that there are only 4 episodes left of Survivor? It seemed to have gone by real fast.

Good Morning!

I was also sad about Amazing Race. Not to mention they were my team but I liked their attitude. Wouldn't you know 1st and 2nd place are the two teams I really want to leave! I like the other teams a lot and will be sad to see each one go. I hope one of them wins!

So far so good as far as Jaymee's bank account goes. The bank left only $5 in her old accounts to see if there was any activity in them and moved the rest of her money to her new accounts. The gas charges don't show up for a few days so I will keep watching my gas card.

Sure is a quiet board today. I only have about 30 minutes left today and today is my and Heidi's Friday!! YAY!! Can't wait to get home and throw on some work clothes and head out to my yard. Sure wish I could put out some plants. I planted my pansy's, 2 lavender plants and my geraniums before the cold set in. I lost my geraniums and probably my lavenders plants :sad2:
I should have never trusted the 80 degree weather!! I am getting really tired of lugging my plants out in the morning and in at night.

I ordered Ethan's tux for the wedding today. Can't wait to see it. I ordered shorts instead of pants and a vest instead of a jacket thought it would keep him cooler not to mention the dirt. The flower girl is 3 and Ethan is 1. Should be an interesting start to the wedding! :bride: :groom:

Well I'm down to 29 minutes until I am off. dragging dragging dragging....

Well here I am at 26 minutes gee seems like just like forever ago it was 30 minutes!

I need to go order the graduation cakes tomorrow. I am having Tiffany senior picture and Amanda senior picture put on their cakes.

Gee Barb, wish you had something to do with your time. lol I don't think that you have sat still for a couple of years now.

So sorry to hear what happened to Jaymee. I only hope they don't cause any more trouble for her by using her cards.

I think you all need some good news. At my hospital we do March of Dimes Baskets to raise money but they aren't "baskets" anymore. Our "basket" was a Tiki Bar Set, cooler on wheels, grill, etc. Another "basket" was a trip for four to Disney World, airfare, stay at Caribbean, passes and $1,000.00 (our secretary won that who was never in Disney World) and I won a trip to New York City with a two night stay at the Marriott Marquis on Broadway, two tickets to a Broadway show, Metro passes, tours and $100.00 in Hard Rock money for food. I never win anything. I was so excited :cheer2: I told Joyce that she won too since she will be my New York City escort!

We had a great time in Atlantic City. It was really interesting to see the government of the Union at work. The Union put motions before the membership and we voted on the motions - yeh or nah, voted some motions down, put new motions before the floor, etc. Of course lots of open bars, food, etc. We did manage to walk to the outlets too!

Off to work tomorrow :sad2: and then Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday we are off to Ocean City but are only staying one night. Don't forget Friday is Cinco de Mayo.

SANDY: Joyce and I almost called you on the way home from the shore but we realized it was only 7:00 AM your time :lmao: Still need to discuss dinner with Bonnie. I don't know if she is in for out.

Hope you all have a fun-filled weekend. Toodles  JEANNE

Jeanne: That is awesome news! Congrats! I know you two will have a blast!

Just a quick check-in. We got our trees planted and we have had 2 nights of frost. My ferns are not liking it!

Work on Thursday was very busy, I got an admission dropped at my doorstep 15 minutes before I was supposed to leave. Luckily it was a respite (only for a short time) and she had been here before and respite orders are good for a year, but I still got out 40 minutes late. Today was a good day at work.

Tomorrow we have friends coming for dinner (pizza).

We bought 2 shelving units to organize more stuff, the bulk food and stuff purchases from BJ's in the basement and stuff in the garage. Hope to get that done this weekend.

One of our nurses went into labor a month early, so I picked up Thursday for her next week. So I am working two days next week. I told her to wait until we got home from our trip!

We will have margaritas next Friday for Cinco de Mayo and to celebrate leaving for WDW the next day!

Julie: How about coming down in May for a couple of days? :teeth:

I had a pretty rough weekend!!! I left work early with a migraine on Thursday which ended up being a bad one and was sick to my stomach all Thursday night and Friday. Saturday I started to feel better and was able to eat again but still had the lingering headache just not as severe. I was 100% better on Sunday, just in time to do laundry, shampoo the carpets, and go grocery shopping. So it feels like I didn't have my 3-day weekend or even a break at all!!!!

Jeanne - congrats on winning the New York trip, that sounds like a lot of fun!!!!

Barb - Ethan's outfit for the wedding sounds adorable!!!! A 1 and 3 year old, sounds like some fun stories may happen!!!!

Poor Heidi! Glad it went away just in time to clean!

We had a busy weekend. Saturday was spent cleaning and then our friends came over for the evening. Sunday we spent putting together cabinets for storage and doing running around. My basement, unfinished side. looks much better. We need to put together the shelves we bought for putting all the paint can on and we need another set for laundry detergent and stuff to get it out of the garage. We buy the huge containers at BJ's and then fill the smaller ones that are in the laundry room.

Just trying to do a last minute inventory for stuff I need to get to take on vacation. I even made out a grocery list for Winn Dixie! We are all so excited to go! Sautrday can't get here fast enough.

I think our family is jinxed this year. Jerry's brother and neice were in a car accident yesterday. Luckily no one was seriously hurt, but the car was totaled. Someone made an unexpected left turn in front of him and he couldn't stop in time.

My parents are getting a new car. It is a Toyota Scion already handicapped equipped. It has no back seat and a ramp where my dad can just drive his scooter right into the van and a modified drivers seat that moves back to meet him and turns so he can get on the seat and then goes back into driving position. Sounds complicated, but I'll understand better when I see it. They are hoping to get it this week. My dad said they bought a "Japanese box". They really needed a new car and one with more room for his walker and stuff. My mom even likes to drive it, at least when they took it for a test drive. It is brand new.

Hope everyone had a good weeekend.

Good Morning,

Finally getting around to posting. I have been catching up at work. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was extremely busy. What a surprise!
Appointments, meetings, shopping, birthaday party and yard work. We did get the patio mostly done yesterday. Jason had taken all the patio blocks out from what Bob and I layed 8 years ago, I wanted to add another row and they needed leveling. The blocks weight 40 pounds each and there are about 100 of them. We dug a trench for the edging and put down plastic under to keep the weeds down. I am going home today and planting, painting and working on the Mother Daughter tea. Last night I heard some of the Mothers talking about how much they are looking forward to it and what they are wearing. My Missionettes are sooo excited and keep telling me "I can't wait until our tea party Miss Barb" . I want to make it really special for them. I had no idea anyone would think it was going to be a big deal when I came up with the idea. I have over 30 people coming!! This Saturday we are doing a bake sale so that will eat up some of my next weekend :guilty:

Denine- You are so lucky to be going to Disney. Sure wish I was! I really want to go this time next year but if we do go on the Med cruise I won't be able to. If not then we will be there too. Do you go every year?

Jeanne-CONGRATULATIONS on the trip. How fun!!

Heidi- Sorry to hear about your headache. Such a bummer to spend the weekend that way. Hope you are better today.

Sandy-How are things going for you. Still knee deep in taking care of all the stuff you were? Hope things are getting wrapped up.

Hi guys, Ted and I had a great weekend. Saturday was spent with Heidi & Chris and Stacey's family. I just love those grandbabies. We were at a friend's house who warned  me that when we were there the babies were for her. Man, I went with that attitude but it was so hard to follow through. :lmao: :guilty: But Heidi was even more guilty!!

Then on Sunday we were in Colorado Springs looking for a location to spread Louise's ashes. I think we figured it out. Now we have to make all the arrangements. I thought of you, Barb and Sally, all day long. We had dinner at the Cracker Barrel and I then thought of Sally while eating. It was our first time there and it was yummy plus it just made it feel more like a vacation then the sad reason we were there.

Denine, sorry to hear about that car accident. It is so scary driving these days. Do they run red lights out there as bad as they do here? Your parents new car sounds :thumbsup2 exactly like what they need!

Jeanne, :Pinkbounc  :cool1: how cool is that? I bet you and Joyce will have a terrific time in New York City. Why  didn't you pick me as yor escort??????

Hugs to all. :grouphug:

:cool1: Woohoo. Did I read your ticker right Barb? Bob comes home in 19 days? You must be so excited! :Pinkbounc

Yep Sandy 19 mored days!!!! :cool1: :cool1:
You know what is really strange. I haven't really missed him up until I got the date of his return and the time. Now I can't hardly stand it!! I am going crazy thinking about him all the time. STOP BARB!!!! FOCUS !!!!WEDDING GRADUATION, TEA PARTY, YARD, KIDS.........

Get this.... Bob could not tell me exactly when he was returning because our planes are still being shot at. To dangerous in email or over the phone. His boss called me and told me. Yeah like now I feel better!
