Cool!!!! Thanks Barb! I did a research on a recipe site. I would love to know how your mom makes it! Especially knowing how the kids expect it at all family gatherings!

Better run. I have to bleach a toy and high chairs. See ya later![/QUOTE]

I think you are more excited to use your new high chair than actually seeing us!!! :rotfl2:

I haven't talked to Heidi yet today so hopefully she had a better day!!

Mom- if you were thinking I am a lurker...you're wrong! I just don't get too much time to write. Nap times aren't as long anymore, or should I say again.
:guilty:

Been thinking of everyone and hopefully things will get better! Pixie dust to all!

Ok, so I have to admit....you are correct to a degree! I can't wait to see my babies :teeth: IN the highchairs!! And yes, I was accusing you of being a lurker. So they aren't sleeping so good for naps again, huh? Guess that means I need to get over there again to see them. I would have MORE play time!

Barb, I decided it was time to open my Secret Santa gift. Thank you so very much for the ornament. For everyone else, it was a Disney radco ornament with all the main characters on it. I absolutely love it. Hugs.

My secret santa gift arrived yesterday. I had a disney box delievered to my house with my name on it and ripped into it. I realized I had not ordered anything from them and looked at the return address and it was from Patty!!!!

It was a personalized Mickey pillow with my name on it. It looks like this picture:

Patty - If you are lurking: Thank you so much, I love it.

So what happened on Amazing Race last night? Who got eliminated? I passed out about 9:15, work has me so busy that I am extremely tired at night!!!! I even beat Chris to bed!!!!

Heidi, I am glad your gift finally got there.....Patti told me to keep reminding her to send it. She has a big conference in another city that she is secretary of and has had to get things organized which has been keeping her really busy. She goes today....bet she is going to be so happy when it is over. She had to travel there about a month ago to make all the arrangements...get the meeting place, hotel rooms, etc.

The pinkie girls got sent home last night.....now maybe the two guys can think about the game instead of the girls..... :rotfl:

I went to Sam's last night and bought two yellow roses.....I shouldn't have but it was too good a deal to pass up...two roses for $l0.88 and they are really healthy looking....even has leaves on them. I will have to keep them in the greenhouse for awhile....

Today I plan on cleaning my hall closet upstairs and shampooing the carpet...I need to get the right frame of mind and throw a bunch of stuff away.....old makeup, medicine, etc.

Good Morning!

Sandy-Glad you liked the ornament. I thought it was really cute. I wanted to get one too but didn't :guilty:

I didn't work on the wedding at all last night and now I have a terrible attack of guilt. I have to push push push in order to get it all done. As soon as I got home I was babysitting Ethan so I couldn't go right down to my work room like I usually do. I never did get motivated after that.

Stacey-I watch Ethan almost every day and what a hand full. I can not get ANYTHING done while I am watching him. If he is not getting into stuff he is wanting me to hold and play with him. I have such a admiration for you taking care of twins! Mothers are amazing but Mothers of twins are AWESOME!

Barb - don't feel guilty.....you need a break too. I realize that you will have to get things done, but a few days off won't push you back. You will get it done!!!!!!!

Sally - Wow, Patty sounds very busy!!!!! I love yellow roses, those are my favorite along with white roses.

I sent an email to Springhill this morning and told them I still haven't gotten my roses that they sent 3/13 and they said to allow until 4/6 for them to get here. They said it usually takes l0-l7 days....first it was l0-l4 days. I know they are good about replacing things but I think 2 weeks is a long time for an order to arrive. If I don't get them until April I am afraid they are not going to be in very good shape and I am going to have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks for the replacement. I have never had this problem with them before and I also have another order from them for 3 more roses.

I didn't have twins but Linda and Rick were born a year to the day apart, April 23rd, so I always thought that was having twins the hard way......

My hands are soooo beat up from doing these "Love Knots" and Ribbon roses on picks for the topiary trees at the wedding. I was bleeding so many different time yesterday from jabbing myself with sharp wire I had to be really careful I didn't get blood on the bows and roses. I got 107 of the 250 picks done yesterday and hope to get a bunch more done today. I have already scratched the back of my hand and it is bleeding right now. :guilty:

OMG Heidi: I just ordered that same pillow last night! That and a Mickey & Minnie lamp for the office.

We will open our box from Sandy tonight.

Got a message from Julie this morning. Her dad made it through his surgery to remove the leg to the knee. SHe is exhausted and hopes to take a nap today. They are very concerned about the other foot and she thinks that within a couple of weeks that will take that leg too.

Kaleigh is finally feeling better. Her nose is still runnning, but her eyes are almost cleared up.

I am going for my muscle injection on April 7th, so I had to juggle my work schedule for next week. Then I go back to the orthopedist 4 weeks after the injection. It is a combination of a long acting steroid and an anesthetic. I need to have a driver to take me home because my leg could go numb for a few hours. I am NOT looking forward to this. It sounds painful to me, but I just want it to work.

Went to the paint store last night and bought paint for 3 rooms. I want to do the powder room soon before the paint settles and is hard to mix again.

Barb: Your poor hands!

Sally: I hope you get your roses soon!

It is actually 50 outside. I have the office windows open a bit. Supposed to be 67 tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

I have a meeting at work tomorrow which means no nap for Kaleigh. Lunch will be served though. Then I work on Friday and then we go to my parents to take them their completed taxes.

Dinner is made, minestrone soup.

It is almost 70 outside....yeah, but it is windy.

I changed my plans...doing the kitchen instead....I still have a couple cabinets to clean out and I did the fridge....we have so many bottles of stuff in there ,there is no room for food

Can't believe you guys are still opening your exchange gifts.....I know Barb still hasn't gotten hers yet and she is always so good about buying really nice gifts......

Guess I better get back to my work...

I will read and post later but I have a few more errands to run today but was checking my email while I talked to Heidi on the phone. Yesterday I sent Krista an email and this is what she wrote back:

Hi
Sandy!

I think of the group often, just don't ever get on. We will be heading back to St. Thomas at the end of May for 2 weeks. It has become our haven. We are probably moving to California soon - hopefully a year away.

I am so excited for you and Ted. I bet the twins keep you really busy. Are they around where you live?

Wow, Mediterranean in 2007? Hmmmm... Anyone planning on going? Would love that cruise, just don't know if with Disney or just David and I. Any more cruises in anyone's future? Disney trips?

PLEASE tell everyone that I said hi and am thinking about them as well. Where is our link now so I can find you all.

Krista

We opened our gift after dinner. It is a really cool table top wine opener and a wine caddy. Kaleigh got a very soft Pooh blanket which she already loves. Too bad I can't persuade her to switch pooh blankets! Thank you Sandy! Now, we need Lent to be over so we can try out our new toy!

We had Sue. Haven't heard a word from her.

Glad you got an e-mail from Krista. I have had a little contact with her from time to time. California huh?

Actually going to go outside and do a little work. Jerry is going to put down the crab grass fertilizer and I am going to cut down some dried up asters.

Back from Sam's Club. I went for clothes soap and came back with a 85.00 worth of stuff. Oh well, it was mainly healthy food like tomatoes, cantaloupe and pineapple.

Barb, who had the pinkies? I was thinking it was Stacey. I was hoping that between the black couple and the pinkies that they would go. I really like the black couple. They seem to be playing an honest game. My team is ALWAYS making mistakes. I can't believe the STUPID mistakes EVERY WEEK! I have Luke and Michelle.

Denine, glad that you liked the gifts.

It is so beautiful out today. Might get a little rain this afternoon. Better run and dry my hair.

Love to ALL!

I call them the pinkies because they were wearing pink stocking caps last night...they are the two girls that are best friends.

Some of those teams act like they didn't pack a full bag when they left home..... :lmao:

I want to two hippie guys to win.....can't stand the dentist and the hippie guys are the only ones that stay calm and are having fun doing the race. Everyone else is either being a drama queen, crying or mad....

Sandy- You have Lake and Michelle. I CAN"T STAND LAKE! Sorry Sandy but he is so mean to Michelle. I keep hoping every week they get the boot.
I have the older couple. When I saw I had them I figured they wouldn't last because they make a lot of mistakes but they are actually hanging in there. Go figure! :confused3

I like the hippie guys too. I think they are out there to have fun and they are not out to back stab everyone. Who has them? I think Stacey did have the pinkies. I really thought they would be one of the last teams but Lake being nasty gave them that yield which caused them to lose.

Heidi has the hippies, I have Lake and Michelle. Who has the black team? I thought for sure that the older couple wouldn't make it this long as they, too, keep making mistakes. Although, last night they did superb! The young guys hitting on every female that crosses their path make me sick and I hope they don't make it.

Wow, everyone has such cool shiny names and such, tickers, etc. etc.

I won't promise this will happen a lot, but just had to say hi. (Special thanks goes out to Sandy for reaching out!)

All is well here. Yes, we hear about California sometime in April. David will be traveling a lot the first year so I am hoping to stay in Bentonville for a year. Cross your fingers for us. We would live in Northern San Diego County right near legoland and disneyland. Visits anyone?

Hope all is well with everyone. I know I have missed so much, but know that you all were missed as well. If anyone wants to give me a re-cap of the last year or so great, if not, I will lurk awhile to catch up.

Hugs and kisses to all,

Krista

Oh, just saw the Race subject...I love the hippies!!!
