:cheer2: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GARRY AND JULIE !! :cheer2:

Sally, I am exactly like you. It makes me soooo happy :cool1: when I see Ted happy. He works to give me the roof over my head, food in my tummy and clothes on my back. He deserves some happiness!!

Denine, I hate  to paint. Glad you are doing it and not me!

Happy Anniversary Julie and Gary...many, many more

I don't like to paint all that well either...the 3 doors is my limit for awhile but I do want to paint the bathroom before my company start this summer

I got the bathroom carpet shampooed this morning and also gave all my houseplants a bath and watered them.....

Have some running around to do today but am going to scrapbook until Criss gets up....

What a delightful Spring day. The high is to be 67. The windows are open and I am enjoying all the fresh air. They say there is a possiblity of snow tonight and then tomorrow it is another beautiful day in the 60's. Only in Colorado!

Heidi and Ted are skiing. I am doing laundry and general housework. Just checking to see if anyone posted.

The painting is done in the office. It looks really nice, we just have to put the drapes back up today. Now, I need to buy paint for 3 more rooms. It is on sale until the end of the month.

My poor little baby has pink eye in both eyes. She woke up crying before 6 AM because she couldn't open her eyes. They were all stuck shut with yellow goopy stuff and her eyes are all red and swollen. I feel so bad for her. I need to call the doctor this morning to get some eye drops for her. This on top of the nasty cold she already has. Her little nose will not stop running, even with sudafed.

I don't mind painting. I can see that I have accomplished something. The worst part, especially in the office, is taking the room apart and then putting it all back together. At least the next 3 rooms will be easy in that department.

Until tomorrow.

Good morning Denine....doesn't look like anyone is up yet....it is 7:30 here in Colorado. I don't envy you all your painting...I have one room I want to do and I just can't get started....I have Dick's bathroom all done except for a new toilet seat and wastebasket.

I need to clean drawers and our closet and shampoo carpet. It doesn't sound like much but it takes a lot of time....talking myself into saving things and out of saving things takes about all day.

It is suppose to be nice for the next few days.....Walmart is getting in their trees, shrubs and bushes so it is beginning to look like spring. :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :cool1:

That pink eye is nasty....I remember when my kids had it.....I use to have to soak their poor little eyes just so they could get them open. Dick had a friend that he worked with that said he went to church once and his kids got pink eye so he didn't go back.... :rotfl: Some people will use any excuse for not going to church

Guess we will grill out today....my granddaughter is still here. She will probably go home today since she works tomorrow and she is running out of clothes.

Well, called the doctor and she said go to the urgent care center. So off we went just to get the medicine I wanted called into the pharmacy. Jerry is at Target now getting it filled. Why will they never call in meds anymore? They always want you to be seen. Kaleigh did get a popsicle which made her happy.

Sally: I am itching to get out in my yard and start planting, but it is too cold yet. We had flurries this morning. We might get into the 50's later in the week.

Meanwhile, I can spruce up the inside of my house by painting. Next up are the powder room, Kaleigh's room and the dining room.

Denine, that is what I do....spring clean until you can get outside...

Of course this is my second time around spring cleaning :rotfl: but I have been able to get outside off and on and have two of my flower beds cleaned out ready to plant. If the roses come this week I will plant them.

When we were in Austin in December I started getting something in my chest like I do at home and we called our doctor in the Springs and lo and behold he called in a prescription....it is a good thing he did or my vacation at Disney World would have been awful....

FIRST: I'll start off with the good news :thumbsup2. My daughter-in-law is 13 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't say anything until we got through the first trimester. She is due September 28th (she better not go early!).

SECOND: The sad news :sad2: . My Uncle passed on Saturday while in Hospice. Funeral arrangements are still up in the air since they are in Cape Coral, Florida.

SANDY: A new car! No 2007 cruise for you two! :lmao: :lmao: You forgot to tell me the important thing - what color is the new Pathfinder?

BARB: A Disneyland rosebush?

DENINE: Thank you for giving us updates on Julie's Dad. She must be exhausted.

Loved the babies picture.

Half watching Villanova. PENNSYLVANIA is really excited :cheer2: about them making the final eight.

It's been not a good weekend. Weather was miserable yesterday & this morning (kind of matched my mood :guilty:). The sun :sunny: finally came out late this afternoon. Nothing like a wasted weekend. Hope you all had a fun-filled weekend. Miss you all :grouphug: Can't wait until vacation. I NEED IT NOW! Toodles  JEANNE

As I was on my way to work I realized I needed to get gas. I stopped at the Cheap gas station only to find out after filling up that I locked my keys in my car (actually my car did it). Apparently if you leave the keys in the ignition, once you close the door the car has some sort of security on it and nicely locks your car door for you. Thankfully my dad was still home and was able to come rescue me.

I had a good weekend, went skiing on Saturday and had a movie night with my best friend on Saturday night. We watched "Into the Blue" or something like that and it was based in Nassau. They scanned the island and you could see the Disney Wonder!!!!!! I was so tired from waking up early and skiing that I didn't want to go, but I did and am glad I went to "movie night." She was sad and it was her husbands 30th birthday and of course he went to the strip club with his friends since he will be getting a divorce soon. Sunday I cleaned all day long, yuck.

My dad's new SUV is nice, okay okay I am a little biased. My dad and I both drove Nissan Sentra's and mine was a year newer than his, now we both have Nissan Pathfinder's and his is 2 years newer than mine (no fair)!! I love it though. He even let me drive it. I was so suprised when I saw it sitting in the garage. I was talking to my mom and when my dad opened the garage door I just stopped talking in mid sentence when I saw it!!!!! Mine is a

Jeanne - First off I am very sorry to hear about your uncle. :grouphug: That is very sad, I hope you are doing okay. Secondly - CONGRATS for your DIL and being pregnant!!!!! How exciting!!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc  That is very close to our cruise, I hope she doesn't deliver early!!!!

Denine - Poor Kaleigh. How is she doing today. I HATE painting. I will never do it again!!!!!! And for the record I would never buy an American car, I am strictly a Nissan girl. :teeth:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JULIE AND GARY!!!!! :cool1:

Oh Jeanne, so sorry to hear about your Uncle. But you did have some exciting news!! Congrats! We will have another Grandma here on the board. How fun! Actually, I am hoping that she will be LATE......let's say, Sept 30th would be nice. That is my birthday. The Pathfinder is white. We liked the way it "jumped" out in the row of all the different colored Pathfinders.

Sally, I have one room left that I would like to get done painting and that is this office. It will take a lot to get it done, unhooking the computer and all the other gadgets, then there is all the CD and computer books etc. YUCK!! That will be an all day event even before we get started painting!!

Denine, poor, poor Kaleigh. Nothing worse than pink eye! It is probably good that you went in to get the med. Our girls had it and of course I took them in but the neighbors didn't and it got very bad and they were told that it could have messed up their eyesight.

Took the Suburban to the car wash this morning. Man, the wind came up and I think I got more of a shower than the suburban got a car wash!

Heidi, sorry about the mess this morning but I am sure glad that we had your extra key! I knew that you are having a busy next two weeks at work so I felt sorry for you having to start your Monday with the key incident!

Hi to any lurkers!

Ugghh!!!!! Kaleigh can suck the last living breath from you when she is sick. She gets beyond needy and you never get a break. Jerry is home no, so here I am. I feel bad for her, I know she is miserable. She cries everytime you put the eyedrops in (every 4 hours except at night), but they are helping. We have now gone through 3 boxes of kleenex in 3 day. Her poor nose will NOT stop running. She seemed to feel some better before, but I am not sure now.

Jeanne: SOrry to hear about your uncle. Congrats on becoming a grandma in September. How about the 25th? That is Kaleigh's birthday.

Heidi: What a terrible way to start the week. Glad it worked out.

Update on Julie's dad: I talked to Julie yesterday. She has read the boards and thanks everyone for their prayers. She has been extremely busy. Her dad will be having the leg taken off to the knee tomorrow. I don't know when. We may have the kids tomorrow. The concern is that he may lose his other leg as well. He has an area of dead tissue that keeps getting larger because of the infection in his blood stream. They are going to do a bone scan. He will be in ICU after tomorrow's surgery. Keep praying. Her dad's sprits are VERY low right now.

At least it is sunny today. I am looking forward to going grocery shopping by myself, and I HATE grocery shopping. That tells you what kind of day I have had.

Oh, Julie has a new frozen drink recipe that she said she is going to post. It sounds good.

Thanks Denine for sharing about Julie. Her dad continues to be in our prayers. You and I are so different. I don't mind going grocery shopping. I like getting out of the house. A new frozen drink recipe?? Bring it on!

I am sooooo not motivated today. I had plans to get so much done and accomplished NOTHING! I hate those days!

Thank you all for the congrats on my Grandmom-to-be status. I would love a September 25th or 30th birthdate just NOT the beginning of September.

SANDY: I'm with you, I like grocery shopping but I don't like carrying it into the house & putting it away especially the cases of water & soda!

DENINE: Give Kaleigh kisses from Aunt Jeanne. This too shall pass...

Waiting for the fence guy to come this morning & give me an estimate. Jake the Jack Russell has now bitten two people. He is VERY protective. He would never bite anyone in the family but when a stranger comes near us. Look out! Then off to work for a 50th surprise birthday party for the Assistant Nurse Manager. Hope you all have an exciting day. So far today the dogs have been to the park, a load of wash is in & the dishwasher is running. Nothing like multitasking! :woohoo: Toodles  JEANNE

Good morning, is this week over yet? I have been so busy at work that it seems like it should be a Thursday!!!!!

I am off to research the web, my new drivers license came in and they put Columbine Valley as the city, when I really live in Littleton. I have never even heard of Columbine Valley!!!!!!

Good morning Jeanne....

Nothing like multitasking.... :thumbsup2 I do it all the time or else I wouldn't get anything done.Did you get in trouble for your dog biting....I have two dogs and am concerned that someday they are going to bite someone...they are normally friendly but there is always that one time....

Today, I shampoo the bedroom...have everything else done in there. It is going to be in the 50's and 60's for the next l0 days so will get to work outside. I really need to get my greenhouse cleaned out and seeds started.
My rose bushes still hasn't arrived and it is l4 days today since they were sent. I sent them an email and they said allow l0-l4 days...they better get here today!

Does anyone know when the time changes? :hourglass It must be this weekend or next

Hi Heidi

Our post must have crossed because you weren't there when I posted.

Don't worry, Friday will be here before you know it.....I am going to the all night crop Friday and not really looking forward to it but I promised my granddaughter I would go so I know it will be here too soon.

Good Morning!

Had a post all typed out yesterday and lost it. Never did get around to
retyping it. So here I am today.

I am getting pretty worn out. I spend almost all of my free time in the craft room. I am getting things done but this is a pretty big project for one person. I will be SUPER GLAD when I get to some sort of stopping point. I had to take a 4 hour test yesterday that I was not prepared for to keep my insurance license. Needless to say I have to retake it next week.

Heidi-Glad everything worked out with the keys. My Dad has rescued me a time or two when I had done things like that.

Denine-Hope Kaleigh is feeling better, pink eye is horrible!

I have to get another wreath and the card basket done tonight. I am also working on 250 love knots for the topiaries hope to get them done this week.

I have not heard from Julie, so I guess she was able to make other arrangements for the kids. I don't know what time the surgery is. At least I don't have to worry about Kaleigh getting her 3 sick now. She doesn't need that.

Kaleigh is feeling better today, but it is still rough. Her ppor nose! The eyes look much better.

Grocery shopping last night was no better than being home with a sick child. How bad is that?

Multi-tasking is the only way to get anything done.

Wow! I wish it was going to be that warm here for the next 10 days. It is supposed to get in the 50's and maybe 60's the end of the week. I sure hope so. I really want to open my windows.

Barb: Man, I don't know how you manage to get all that stuff done. You must be organized. Well, at least you know about the test next week.

Sally: SOmetimes it takes forever for stuff to arrive after it has been shipped. I think we had that problem too.

My living room carpet could use a good shampoo!

Hi guys,

I am thinking about making mac and cheese this Thursday as a side dish. Has anyone ever tried it with cottage cheese and sharp cheddar cheese? My family really likes cottage cheese but Chris and Richard don't. I would bake a potato for them. Stace and Heidi, the menu is: turkey breast, mac and cheese, Mex green beans and peach crisp for dessert.

Jeanne, I was wondering the same thing as Sally. Did you get into trouble with the dog biting incidents?

Multi tasking. Is there any other way?

The time change is this weekend.

Better run. I have to bleach a toy and high chairs. See ya later!

Sandy-My Mom makes a mac and cheese with cottage cheese. My kids LOVE it and insist on it at every family gathering.
