Happy Happy Monday Morning!!!!

Hope everyone had a fun weekend. Went to watch Tiffany perform for "Mock Trial" She was really a good Lawyer! Of course I am a little biased but I thought she was the best lawyer out of all of them. :teeth:

Didn't watch the Superbowl yesterday. I am not a big football fan only a Bronco fan. Since they were not there, Bob and I went grocery shopping then watched "Lord of the Rings".

Say :wave2: to Bonnie Sandy. That is really nice of her to come and help you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JERRY & BIG GUY!!!!

Julie-Glad the cookie stuff is coming to an end. Did Mackenize make all her goals?

Denine-Pixie dust to Jerry. Hope he is feeling better today. :tink:

Morning all! Just checking in to say hi. The big Guy is home sick from preschool today. He threw up this morning. When he has a bad cough, he easily throws up from the coughing. I have a horrible sinus infection and yesterday I was blow drying my hair and I stepped back while I was doing it and felt a "cramping" in my one foot (the one I didn't have surgery on). I thought it was just a foot cramp, but the "pain" didn't go away. It really hurt when I walked too, but it still just felt like a cramp that wasn't giving up. About 20 mins later, I noticed the top of my foot by my forth toe was bruising. By the end of the night the bruise was a nice raspberry color and about the size of a child's fist. I don't know what I did, but I still have the bruise on my foot and it hurts to walk or put pressure on it, but not as bad as yesterday. I know I didn't step on anything or hit it on anything, so it is a mystery as to what happened to it.

I was very dissappointed in the super bowl commercials this year. That is the only reason why I watched it yesterday and I was hoping for a miracle that Seatle would have won, but I knew that the OTHER TEAM had it won before the game started. There were only 2 commercials that I really liked. They were both budwieser commercials. The one was the little horse trying he hardest to pull the beer wagon and it started moving and he was so proud that he was doing it, but then you see the back of the wagon and 2 adult horses were pushing it. Then it cuts to the farmer and his dog and the farmer says to the dog, I won't tell it you won't. I thought that was really cute. The other was a stadium with fans and they had those cards they holdup to create pictures and such, and they did a beer bottle on one side and a glass on the other and with the cards show the the beer pouring into the glass and then the glass emptying like someone was drinking it. I thought that was pretty clever. Anyways, nothing exciting was happening around here.

Barb, yes, Makenzie reached her goal and so did her troop. We wanted the troop to sell 1000 boxes of cookies and the troop ended up selling 1680 boxes. Makenzie was the top seller in her troop with 375 boxes. Thank goodness it over until next year. It wasn't that bad, just doing it for the first time not knowing how to do anything was a little rough at first.

I was on my college Mock Trial team for 2 years (my junior and senior years). It was a blast! We traveled all over for tournaments. The college even flew us to the national tournament in DeMoines Iowa both years. One of the years we came in 11th out of 200 teams and the other we came in 14th.

Well, gotta go. I took my break from cleaning and I must go back!

Be back later!

JULIE you are so right. I was disappointed with the commerials this year too! I always look forward to the superbowl just for the commerials!

I finally got to meet Bonnie! What a pleasure to meet someone off this board. Hopefully I will get to meet others soon enough.

GTG. Babies are yelling!

Hope everyone is having a good day!
:cool1:

I agree with Julie and Stacey, the commercials weren't all that great. What was up with all the movie previews???? My favorite commerical was the one that Julie explained with the Budweiser colt that was trying to pull the wagon. My other favorite one was a lady in the airplane that was seated in the window seat and she had to use the bathroom, but the guy on the aisle was asleep. She tried to scoot by him and the plane hit turbulence and she fell on him and was straddling him when he and the other passengers woke up. I have no idea what it was even advertising, but Chris and I had a good laugh!!!!!

I just found out that a coworker (everyone calls him my buddy because he always came down to talk to me in the morning) passed away last night. He was 59 and he died from Leukemia. He had just bought a new home with his wife and then was diagnosed with Leukemia 3 months ago. He told me he was diagnosed and we put him on the leave/share program but that was the last time we had talked. He was so young and loved life....so sad. He was in IT so it has been a very somber day here.

Well, I am sad now. Bonnie went home today and of course, as Jeanne, Heidi and Stacey can attest to, I cried. We had a lot of laughs. We ended up taking yesterday off and just went shopping. Now I know what it is like to shop with Bonnie. :rotfl2: She got to see both houses. She loved seeing the snow covered mtns. She would love to see us buy Ted's dads house. We did Pilates to make up for the little bit of bad food that we had. We did not have the :sad2: bushwackers as we both are watching our calories and decided that alcohol is way too bad for us.

Julie, I can't believe it about your foot. Sure wonder what happened. :confused3 How could anything be that bad and you not know how you did it? :Pinkbounc Congrats to Makenzie on the cookies! I am happy  to have helped her.

Happy Birthday BIG GUY! I can't believe that he is FIVE. I still remember that toddler drinking from the deck. :rotfl2: :rotfl: Poor Garry, he will never live that one down!

We didn't watch much of the Super Bowl. We shopped until late and then ate dinner at Applebee's. Bonnie could see the TV there. She finished watching it at our house.

Jeanne, you HAVE to come out here next time with her. I told her we could take her camping but she won't commit :rotfl2: to it. It was FANTASTIC to talk to you.

Seeing Bonnie made me MISS ALL OF YOU. We need to ALL get together again. Love you all!!

Good morning all!!!!! Nothing exciting to say, just wanted to wish everyone a good morning. Today I am running slow and my sinuses are still killing me. I didn't sleep well last night, every little noise or movement kept waking me up.

Good Morning Everyone!

Hoooo hummmm tired today. Stayed up until 10:00 watching The Bachelor
last night. I have an all day training today....yipeeeeee

Sorry about your friend Heidi. Sad especially when it is someone so young.

Good morning all.

It has been bothering me that I didn't tell Barb how much I enjoyed her pics. Thanks for sharing!

Had to hurry to Albertsons to buy Heidi some groceries. I turned into her maid for the day. No, not really, their was a good deal on some chicken so I ran to get some for myself and she wanted some, too.

Didn't do laundry while Bonnie was here so I have to get caught up on that. Yuck!

Not one doggie but now two doggies. My daughter-in-law just couldn't handle Jake (the Jack Russell) anymore so he joined our house. He is really very sweet but VERY hyper :goodvibes

SANDY: I know you and Bonnie had a great time together but no bushwackers? I think maybe those calories would have been worth it! :lmao: I really can't wait until the cruise. I just hope it comes really fast.

Went and FINALLY had my yearly bloodwork drawn early this morning, then dogs to the park, food shopping (in between doing wash), cleaned the refrig. & I think I am finally done. The house could use straightening up but I counted eight toys that Jake has carried into the family room.

Off to work Wednesday and Thursday. Holiday party (that the Dr.'s give) on Friday. FUN. FUN. FUN. :thumbsup2 Hope you all have a great week.

JULIE: Have that foot checked. It could be a phlebitist or celluitis. Both of which you need to have the Dr. see.

Toodles  Miss you all. :grouphug: JEANNE

Hooooo hummmmmm at the end of my lunch and still in training. SOOOOO BORING! I am sitting in the very back corner so I can play on the computer :teeth:

I was so surprised to hear you guys got my pictures. I sent them out in December. My computer at home will not send email out so they never went. Guess it had a fluke moment and sent them out. Wish I had included some pictures of Ethan!

Barb - I feel for you, I HATE training and I always sit in the back so I can play on the computer!!! What is the training about?

I was hoping to be able to open my secret santa gift this weekend with my mom and while Bonnie was there, but it never came. :(

Heidi- I spoke to your "Secret Santa" and have it on good word that you will be getting your gift soon.

My training is grammer. Since my team is responsible for sending out letters we have to brush up on grammer.
