I e-mailed the chicken soup recipe although it says it is turkey soup. Actually the recipe doesn't have soup at all in it's name. It is called a potpie, which in the Amish culture is a soup.

Going grocery shopping tonight. Yuck!

Sandy and Heidi: You guys are worse than me when it comes to soggy bread!

I managed to do the treadmill yesterday.

I work tomorrow and then we are going to my friend Judy's on Saturday. She is haveing a Tastefully Simple party. So, we are going over at 2:30 PM, will have a bite to eat and then Jerry and John will take Kaleigh to the mall so us ladies can have our party. Then we are going to stay the rest of the evening. They asked us to spend the night, but we have to go to Jerry's mom's on Sunday.

A Disney Cruise in Europe in 2007 but isn't that the year we are supposed to cruise with Faith?

I had a car accident Wednesday, January 25th. My car started slidding on black ice & it felt like a tilt-a-whirl picking up speed. All I could think of was that I would hit a tree or another car but I went up a curb & hit something & stopped. I took down this ornate iron mailbox; it (& my guardian angel) saved my life. The only damage to my car was the license plate! God was with me

Left for the Poconos Thursday & had an absolutely great time! We went skiing Friday with perfect conditions - the sun was shining , it was warm, no ice (an East Coast problem) & no crowds! We went outlet shopping, to a Pub with a Band and saw a Play (One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest). We also ate out alot!

SANDY: I bet you can't wait to see Bonnie tomorrow. I was so sorry she didn't make it to the Poconos.

I really was away so that is why I didn't post. I worked Tuesday & Wednesday. I have about five loads of wash to do today & then I am meeting Joyce at Los Amigos when she is done work. Did any one get the Disney Cruise Survey via computer It looks like they are trying to get more internet access, cell phone use & in-room games. Sorry. I am starting to ramble on...... Miss you all! Jeanne - how scary, I am so glad you are okay and didn't do much damage to your car. How was the poconos? What did you do there? Nope I didn't get a DCL survey, you must be the only special one. The cruise that Faith is taking is in April of 2007, the med cruise is in the summer of 2007. I was thinking we were supose to meet up at WDW in December 2007!!!!!

Just like Barb, my day off is tomorrow and I get to go skiing. It is going to be great skiing, the mountains were dumped on last night and are continueing to get tons of snow today...powder, powder, powder...woohoo!! (don't worry mom, we won't leave you out and won't make you go pick up Bonnie alone if it snows )

Woo Hoo, we heard from Jeanne. Sorry about the accident. I know how you feel about your car! I was holding my breath as I read. Faith is still cruising in Apr of 2007 and is on the Western again. I am not booking because I don't think I could come up with the funds by then. Ted would like to do the Med. cruise if it comes to fruition ( I think it will) but I think it will be $$$$$$. But then if you guys do the WDW in Dec of 2007, I would rather do that. Honestly, that was the most fun I have ever had in WDW even though we didn't do much together we were still there and called each other all the time. And then of course, there was OH HICKORY!! But then again, Jeanne, think about how much fun we had trick or treating...... M&M'S twice around. What to do, what to do . I think I better play the lottery!

No, no Heidi, never leave me out! Ok guys, Heidi is referring to a "dream" or nightmare however you want to think of it. I had a dream that camping Heidi and Ted hid from me. Then on a cruise, I looked and looked for them. I skipped all meals looking for them and once I found them, they had already eaten. How could they? I woke up feeling so abandoned. It was weird and it stayed with me for an hour or so. See Heidi, Stacey IS the good twin.

SANDY: You are too much I have a dream dictionary some where I will have to find it & tell you what those dreams mean. It probably means you are REALLY starving!!!!! I didn't realize Faith was doing the Western again. I would rather do the Med. Cruise or Disney World. We will have to talk to Faith.

HEIDI: We had a great time skiing in the Poconos because the weather was warm but the night had been cold so they MADE snow. No lines or ice just nice sunshine

Hi Jeanne, we don't have to make snow this late in the year this time. We are getting dumped on. The snow levels are the second highest EVER. Talked to Bonnie tonight. I will tell her hello from NJ. How funny is that???? I should be watching reality shows but we are too busy getting ready for company. I can say that cuz she never reads the board!! You know cleaning, vacuming, painting, laundry, etc.

I will try and get on tomorrow. Bonnie comes in late tomorrow night.

Sally, I thoroughly enjoyed todays "conversation". We will have to do it again. Nothing like talking all day long!

Gosh, that survivor looks like it is going to be tough getting put on an island by yourself....and of course the dumb older women got rid of the only hope they have of being a competative team....I think they should have sent the black woman home that is afraid of leaves I think her is running out

Joyce & I went & "worked out" at Slim and Tone this morning. It is like a "Curves". I use the term "worked out" loosely.

SANDY: Do I ever know what you mean about cleaning for company. I always say my house is clean enough to be healthy & dirty enough to be happy. I bet you can't wait to see Bonnie. I would like to see her too!

Working this weekend and, I have to admit, I bought a Pittsburgh Steeler t-shirt to wear on Sunday since they are the closest team to New Jersey in the Superbowl. Planning a Superbowl Party (of course) Hope you all have a great weekend in case I don't get back on. Miss you all. Toodles JEANNE

Good morning everyone.

Yep, Sally and I had a good time yesterday. We were back and forth I don't know how many times. I agree, the black lady won't be on the island long. She is afraid of leaves AND at the tribal council I believe she said too much.

Jeanne, I wish you were coming too. We could have a great party! We are starting with bushwackers. Can you believe that?? I can just visualize what it is like with you and Joyce exercising together. Too much laughing and not enough exercising. That would be Heidi and I, too. Bonnie is bringing her pilates CD and making me do a 20 minute workout everyday. Ya, right. I will just laugh, get her going and nothing will get accomplished. Ted will just look at the two of us and shake his head. I should hide a video camera and record it.

Not much activity here today. You sure can tell when Barb and Heidi have Friday off!

Just wanted to tell everyone to have a good weekend. I will try and get Bonnie to get on while she is here but I don't think I can perform miracles.

Jeanne: Sorry to hear about your car accident. Glad you weren't hurt. I can just see you and Joyce trying to exercise together. Sounds like you had a very nice time in the Poconos.

Sandy: Give Bonnie a hug from all of us! I can just see you guys after drinking Bushwackers

We would love to cruise the MED, but it won't happen next year. Too much $$$ and we won't be able to enjoy the sights. I can't leave Kaleigh on the ship, just call me a worry wart, and she won't enjoy the tours. It will have to wait until she is much older. If we can't cruise cruise DCL in 2007, we may look into another cruiseline. We will go to WDW in December 2007.

Jerry had an uneventful birthday, but after recent events, that is not a bad thing. I worked this morning and he made pancakes, as usual. I made a warm chocolate pudding cake for his birthday cake and had ice cream on it. Kaleigh insisted I put candles on it. We will go out to dinner another night. He wants to go to Macaroni Grill.

We are supposed to get dumped on tomorrow. It is uppsed to rain then changing to snow around noon. We could get 6-12" by midnight. The problem is, we are going to Judy's which is an hour east of here. They had asked if we wanted to spend the night and we declined, but I called them this afternoon and said we may have to. We are not driving back in heavy, wet snow on a weekend when they don't touch the roads. I guess this storm developed early this morning, because they had only called for flurries tomorrow and in todays paper.

Sunday, we are going to Jerry's moms. We have paperwork to take to her and a bunch of containers, and I guess her driveway will need to be shoveled.

I couldn't care less about the superbowl.

Welcome to another crappy Saturday in my house. Jerry is in bed with a headache, he has thrown up once and feels miserable. We had to cancel our plans because of the weather, Kaleigh is disappointed along with the rest of us. It is supposed to be bad driving tonight and tomorrow with 40 mph winds tomorrow and snow. An icey mix is already falling. I only got maybe 2 hours of sleep last night cause my tummy was bugging me for some reason. So, a fun day has turned into crap. I suggested that we try to do something fun like go to the Macaronni Gril for Jerry's birthday and right now he doesn't even want to think about it. So, here I am venting my frustrations that Jerry has been sick for a month. I am tired of not getting any sleep because he is snoring or coughing and waking me up. I am tired of him feeling miserable. He caught a cold on top of the virus he already had and has just been so run down he can't shake it. I am tired of having Saturdays ruined because he is throwing up with a headache. I feel bad for him, I am just frustrated.

We will need to shovel our driveway and his mom's tomorrow. I have a bad back which has been hurting lately and he starts coughing with the cold and/or exertion. This should be fun.

All Kaleigh is doing is crabbing about one thing or another.

We need a vacation!

I did talk to Julie for a bit last night. She has been very busy with the cookie stuff.

Hi guys,

I am sneaking on while Bonnie is in the shower. We are getting A LOT of stuff done. She is great at "taking charge" and helping. I love it.

I passed on the hello's and hugs. She is doing great and looking great.

Poor Jerry. His immune system is so down right now. Maybe this will be the last of it. I am sure because he was so stressed over his dad that it took a toll on his body.

It is terribly windy here today. Nasty morning. Hope it will go away.

Sorry to have been MIA lately. Have been busy doing this cookie thing and it is now FINALLY DONE!! YEAH!!

Even though I didn't get a chance to post about Jerry's birthday, I did call and wish him a happy one. I hope he begins to feel better soon. I have a sinus infection and a horrible headache, so I can relate.

Denine, could you sleep in your spare room until Jerry is better? You could probably get some more sleep then you are getting now.

Well, gotta go. I'll post more later!

Hi all!!!! Had a great time skiing on Friday. The snow was unbelievable, so much powder.....a skiers dream day!!!! I was exhausted but still managed to go with my parents to pick up Bonnie at the airport. It was so good to see her. Saturday she came over and got to see my place and meet my boyfriend, his daughters, and the dog!!!! Then we went to my sister's house and then onto Lou's house to clean it out. My dad and I were busy WORKING and shredding paper when you could here my mom and Bonnie hysterically laughing. They put some hats on their heads, if I get my hands on that picture that I took of them they better watch out because I will POST it here!!!! Unfortunately my sinuses were horrible and I had a bad headache so I had to sleep for a little bit that afternoon. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately she leaves today and I will have to wait for another 7 months to see her.

Denine - hang in there, I know how frustrating it can be for both you and Jerry. After not sleeping for a few nights because of Chris's snoring I end up sleeping in either the other bedroom or on the couch just to get some sleep. I can't believe how loud Chris snores. I have to close the bedroom door, go downstairs and turn on the TV and I can still here him...it is so frustrating, especially since he thinks it is not that bad and that I am making it up and he won't go get a sleep study done.
