October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Bonnie: Sounds like you will have a nice lunch tomorrow. Potty training comes and goes. She uses the potty about 3 times a day and goes in her diaper the rest of the time. Each time she has a wet diaper, she loses a toy.

Barb: Sounds like cause for a big celebration! Have fun!

Didn't sleep well last night because of the scratchy throat. I am going to take a nap when Kaleigh does.

I need to feel better. Tomorrow is our anniversary and I want to open that bottle of Banfi and go out to dinner on Saturday.

Hi everyone,

I got a phone message from Eugene last night and Faith got the Disney suite again for April of 2007. She will be celebrating her 50th birthday. Isn't that cool?? It is the Western itinerary if anyone is interested in joining her. I can't remember the exact date but I believe it is the end of April. We would love to go again but really have to face the financial end. We are going Sept of 2006. To do it again in Apr of 2007 sounds impossible. It makes me sad.

Barb, I have never been to New Hampshire. It just sounds like such a cool place to visit! It was nice of you to tackle all the goodie stuff! Too bad you can't figure out how to post pics because we would love to see Ethan. I don't know how either.

Heidi, see you tonight. I might be cleaning my oven racks for awhile and dad might be fininshing the trailer. He only has the front left. Hey, glad you are coming over cuz Amazing Race is on and I believe it is at 8. You know what 8 means at our house!!

We want to go in the Fall of 2007, but I guess the rates aren't out yet. What I have heard, is that tend to be a bit pricey.

Throat still scratchy, but now I have the headache to match. It doesn't feel like our anniversary. We have spent almost every one in FLA or the cruise or someplace. It just feels like another day, especially since we aren't doing anything special today except having the champagne. I guess I really don't want to be in WDW right now with Wilma out there.

Jerry changed the back brakes on my car last night and fertilized the lawn one last time.

14 years of wedded bliss!

Denine, I was disappointed as well. I didn't lose and thought I would. I still have 5 to go from what I was when I went on the cruise. But in my favor, I was in shorts and tanks, not tshirt or sweatshirt or blue jeans.

Who is that Wilderness girl person? Julie, don't forget all of us. We know you are busy. Miss you tons and tons.

Jerry is the most wonderful husband ever! He knew I was feeling down and still not feeling up to par. He brought me 2 dozen roses, gorgeous! As I started to heat up dinner, he suggested we go to Fridays. Food was good. Service was pretty slow, so the server gave us free dessert! We took it home and had it with our Banfi while we opened our anniversary cards. Jerry turned it into a very nice anniversary. I swear, they gave us 4 servings of dessert.

Still not feeling well today. Woke up with a headache. I wish this would go away already!

I work tomorrow and then we go out on Saturday for our anniversary dinner.

Hi everyone......Happy Anniversary Denine and Jerry.....

Well, Barb and Bob are in NH now....it is his parents 50th anniversary and they haven't been back for 8 years so they should have a good time.

It is feeling like fall out but I love it.....have seen several pumpkin patchs
around town....complete with corn stalks and scarecrows. Time to light the fireplace and burn the pumpkin spice candles....I put a scarecrow and pumpkin in my flower bed outside my kitchen window and he greets me every morning....the apple tree he is standing under started to turn yellow two days ago....but the trees all over town are putting on their last fall display...really pretty.

I cleaned out Dick's closet in the computer room.....what a pack rat he is...had 8 keyboards....did get rid of 5 and we took 7 bags of things to Goodwill from his closet and computer room. I am slowly getting rooms cleaned out....you hear such horror stories of the children of people that have to go in and clean out their parents homes....I know what Ken and Patti went through. Don't intend to be going anyplace soon but I figure it is going to take me the next 20 years to downsize.....

There were about 12 boxes of slides in the closet, so I went through all of them and have had about 300 put on disc and printed for albums. I got them all down to one photo box filled to the top that I can go through whenever I need pictures of some occassion. I am making an album of Jason when he was a baby through today for his girlfriend for Christmas. Found some really cute pictures on slides of him.

Going to Curves this morning and shampooing carpet. I got a new shampooer because I had a Hoover which worked really good but the tank that holds the water kept splitting and had to be replaced...got to be old, so decided to get a Bissel.....

Sally, I loved reading your post. It was so cool the way you described fall. As far as cleaning out things, Ted's dad house has made me think about my own. Time to downsize junk! We found tons of slides at his house and plan to go through them this winter. I just can't throw them out without viewing them first and saving pics of the family. He was a geologist and I know most of them will be ROCKS!

I took the slides to Walmart and they put 40 on a disc for $2.88 I think it is and then I put them in the machine they have there and got the prints for .l9 each. If you have them do it it is .58 a print.

I know what you mean about a lot of rocks....when we were camping for some reason when we went to the Smoky Mt. or anyplace with a lot of trees Dick took tons of pictures of trees...not with the kids in them...just trees. I bet I throw out over l00 pictures of trees....when you have seen one pine tree you have seen them all

I should have saved them and made him an album of trees...."Here is one with the sun on the left.....here is one with the sun on the right and here is one with no sun... Wonder if he would have seen the humor in it...

Oh my gosh, Sally. How funny! I understand exactly what you are saying about trees. There are more rocks than family pictures. LOL. Wow, I am SHOCKED about how cheap it was for you to put 40 slides on a disc. That is exactly what we will do. Hugs to you for your advice.

How funny about the trees and rocks. I take pictures of waterfalls and water. Guess someone will have to throw those out someday.

I forgot to tell you all about Kaleigh on Wednesday in the car. She was sitting in the backseat comparing DL and WDW. She was saying they have the pirate in DL and WDW, etc.. Then she went on to say she wants to go to Goofy's Kitchen. How many 3 year olds can compare DL to WDW? We have successfully raised a Disney Child. There was a picture in the AAA magazine of Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. We asked Kaleigh where the picture was taken. She looked at in a minute and said Mickey's boat. Mind you, the only part you could see behind them was some of the upper railing in the atrium.

Work went well this morning.

It is cold and rainy and we are freezing.

It is cold and rainy. Jerry is in bed with a nasty migraine. Kaleigh is constantly misbehaving and it isn't even 11 AM!

Can't wait until the babysitter comes at 5:30 so we can enjoy an evening out.

Another weekend full of work. Worked on the well house at my FIL's for most of the day. Heidi and Chris helped as well. Thanks Heidi! LYMI. Visited the friend at the nursing home, went to her house ........
Now today we are doing the same in reverse. BUT...Heidi is having us over for dinner tonight. Thanks Heidi! LYMI.

While at Home Depot Heidi and I each bought a 20" TV with DVD/VCR combo for 174.00. Couldn't resist the price. Of course nothing goes smooth when Heidi and I are together so it took an extra trip and a headache to complete the task. That's alright we got a McDonald's lunch because of it!

Gotta run. Just wanted to check in my juice thread to see how a lady is doing in FL waiting for the storm. Bless her heart, her hubby is in Nebraska as she prepares for it.
