Sandy- Your Ted is the best. You are one lucky lady. Good thing you dumped his friend way back when! That was your life wasn't it?

Spill the beans about me why don't you Bonnie!! :rotfl2: If you want to know the truth, he dumped me. :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Good morning all. Had a great day with my mom (Even though I Spent around $300!!!) She always loves to go shopping with me when I spend that much!!! Saturday we got the house ready and clean for Chris's mom to come in tomorrow and Sunday I went to the zoo with my best friend.

Sally - It is a good thing that Dick went to the Dr. Pixie dust and prayers to him.

Julie - How scary to hear those words come out of a Dr's mouth. Atleast you have such a positive outlook and Brook is healthy. Hang in there!!!!

Jeanne - Sorry to hear about your aunt, we are here for you.

I feel like I am forgetting to respond to something else...I am sure I will remember later.

Love to all.

Sally: Sorry to hear about Dick. Hope he is up and around soon!

Bonnie: COngrats on the weight loss! They still put in the filters. I have a resident with one and they put one in Jerry's grandma before she died a few years ago.

Julie: Brooke is just fine. They have to use the scary diagnosis.

Busy all weekend! Went to the garden center for the 50% off sale and bought 3 shrubs that will grow into a privacy screen. Also bought a few perennials. Got all that planted. Also planted my little river birch. Went big rock hunting in the contruction area for my rock border. I am trying to replace the small ones with big ones. we got the grass cut and some weeding done. It was a beautiful weekend. It will be nice until Thursday.

Sandy: Belated Happy Birthday!

Need to go to Toys R Us to pick up a Christmas present for Kaleigh from my parents. It is on sale this week.

Our Indian's did not make the play-offs.

Working on potty triaining again.

Can't wait for "date night" on Saturday!

My windows are open and I hear the ice cream truck. It is playing "Small World"

Bonnie: I have seen her books, but not read any of them. I just got the newest Diana Gabaldon book. Can't wait to start reading it!

Thanks for all the pixie dust.....Dick is home...we went up and got him this morning.....he sure has a lot of pills to take and has to have a blood test every week but he feels fine. He is going to work tomorrow...

It is nice out today but the weather is suppose to change tomorrow for a few days.

Hi, everyone!!! Missed you all. I have a lot of reading to catch up on so I have no clue what you all are up to or have been up to.

My Mom came in from Germany on Labor Day and she will only be here about a month so I have spent a lot of time with her this past month. She leaves Thursday. Something broke in the PC and I can't get to home email or the DIS Boards through the company firewall so I haven't been able to stay in touch.

I've been working late a couple of nights a week. Hockey has started back up but we don't go out of town until November. I had my scheduled colonoscopy today so that means yesterday was a fun day for me!!!

I'm going to go back and read some more and will try to get on and post tomorrow.

Missed you all!
Later!

Sandy-he was the fool to dump you but you got the better end of the deal!

Sally-glad to hear Dick is back home...can't keep a good man down! Stay away from cabbage...if he is on coumadin there are some foods that will interfere with the effectiveness of it, but I forget what they are! DUH! You can probably find information on the internet...you can find anything on there! Heck! I found you all!

Denine-good luck on the potty training! I laughed when I read Kaleigh's height and weight. I remember Ryan was 33# at 1 yr, I forget his height but man was he heavy!

I am reading Evanovich's One of rthe Money now...I laughed out loud on the train!! Did I feel foolish but it couldn't be helped when Grandma Mazur shot the chicken on the dining room table. :rotfl2: ..still laughing when I think of it! I just love Grandma Mazur! I can see a little bit of myself in her.

Denine/Julie: Here you go....

I made sparkly signatures for Denine and Julie, but I guess they don't want to use it!!!!!

Mom - what's for dinner tonight? How about I move back in for let's say 2 weeks!!!!!

So glad to hear Dick is home. It must mean he is improving!

SANDY & TED: Hope you both had VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY'S :bday: :bday: :cake: :cake:

JULIE: The doctors love to scare the parents. They HAVE to tell you the worse case scenario.

Well my mom moved in last night & already this morning (actually 12 noon when she wakes up) she wouldn't walk to the kitchen table for breakfast :confused3. My Teddy has the patience of a saint! He is SO good with his grandmother. This coming weekend is the big fall craft fair in Ocean City so I already paid for the place & told him I was going. He calls me the "vacation queen". My cousin (whose mom just died) is going with me (she needs it!) so the boys have Dorey (my mom's name is Eldora) & doggies duty! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:. It is going to be very interesting!!!!!!! Bonnie told me about Disney ::MickeyMo rates in December but my son would kill me.

Our PHILLIES were eliminated too! :sad2: :sad2:

Miss you all. Hope you all have a great week! Back to work tomorrow & Thursday & then off to Ocean City. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Heidi: I can't seem to copy the signature into my signature.

Sue: Glad to hear from you.

Jeanne: ENjoy your craft fair. Sounds like you have your hands full!

Bonnie: I can just see you laughing on the train.

Sally: Glad to hear Dick is home. Jerry's mom is on cumadin.

Jerry's dad had an appointment at the CLinic. He tried to make excues not to go, but they got hime there. They are going to try pain management next week and see how that goes. They may amputate part of his foot. Why would you tell someone that is not a candidate for a heart transplant, that he would have been if he was healthier? Don't know where this is all leading, but he does need the pain management.

Went to Toys R Us last night. A present I wanted my parents to get Kaleigh was on sale for $20 instead of $30. But, they don't have one by them an it is increasingly difficult for my dad to get around, so we went and bought it. ALso, am done with my Christmas shopping except for the dad's and 1 more gift for Kaleigh. My nephews get money. Jerry and I aren't exchanging gifts this year since we went on the cruise. Bought Kaleigh a Princess program for her leap pad. We will give it to her on her Adoption Day, October 28th.

Went grocery shopping this morning.

We are trying new incentives to get Kaleigh to use the potty. She get to pick out a sticker to put on a chart I made everytime she goes potty, plus she still gets the M&M's. Once I have her going more than twice a day, she will get 1 sticker per day fpr a week. After the week is up, she will get 1 big sticker. She has to use the potty all the time though. Once she is potty trained, except at night, she will get a big toy. We looked at some last night. So far, it is sort of working. At least she has gone twice a day for the last few days. That is better than none. I am tired of spending so much money on diapers and wipes!

baseball playoffs start today. I am sure we will watch a game this evening, but it sure isn't the same.

All you have to do is Quote the original post that I did and you will be able to see the "code" to put in your signature line.

7 more days until I can start looking for airfare for the 10 days in WonderLand cruise!!!!!

Hi all,

Sorry I have been MIA for a day and half. Busy with Louise, our friend. She might end up going home in a day or two. Her place was sooooo filthy dirty that Ted and I spent 4 hours cleaning 2 rooms very good and just brushed over a couple of others. She was very appreciative. Then went up to Ted's dad's house to do more up there. Heidi, when I get old and save, save, save, slap me into reality.

Denine, hope the pain management works!!

Jeanne, good to hear from you. I know how you like the craft fair so I am happy you are able to go. Being patient with older people must be a trait in men named Ted.

Bonnie, I can just see you laughing out loud. Wish I was there to hear it.

Susan, good to hear from you. I was getting nervous. You sure had a good excuse for being MIA that is for sure. Mom's are certainly more important!

Sally, good to hear Dick is home. Bet you both are happy with it. Isn't it cold today?

Tonight we are going out for dinner. Our friends are taking both Ted and I out for our birthdays. Should be fun. These people are totally crazy.

Hi Heidi, I miss you. Haven't been able to talk to you for a few days. Just been too busy. You betcha. You can move back in.....you just have to talk your dad into it. LOL. We can't go to game night because I am going to the Melting Pot with the LA Weight loss crew for the bridal shower. DARN!

No Game night.....well that makes it easier for me to choose. I was waivering since Chris's mom is here and the weekend we are going to have to girls....might still be an excuse for me to get away for a while though!!!! I am sure after this week with Chris's mom I will really be missing Dianna. Are you going to be home in time for Amazing Race? As you can tell I am trying to keep busy away from my house!!! I know, suck it up!!! Maybe I will go to Red Robin by myself, what time are you going? ;) As you can tell (by the drill still sitting at your house) we still have not hung the pictures or put the shower head up...I am tired of begging and it is his mom so it's his problem now. What's dad doing tonight...does he want to help me do it!!!

Hi Heidi, well let's see. We are eating around 6 because of Graci. I am sure the Coopers wouldn't mind if you came. You know how they are. I am hoping to be home by 8. If you don't do dinner just be here so we can watch together. This is silly. I think I will call you to talk in person.

Thanks Heidi!

Only a few more days until "date night"! :Pinkbounc Still trying to decide where to go to eat. There are so many options without kids.

Saturday is going to be busy. There is a starving artist sale in the morning, a block party in the afternoon and our date in the evening.

Hi all! THANK YOU HEIDI!!!!!! I love my new name!!!!! You are soooooooo sweet for doing that!!!!

Nothing exciting here. Tomorrow is "walk you child to school day" so we are all walking Makenzie to school. We are meeting the school at the near by aprk (to the school) and walking. THEN I have to take the Big Guy on his preschool hay ride. Brooke is going to say with a friend of mine while I take the Big Guy. Leah (my friend) has a daughter who has gone to school with Makenzie ever since 3yr preschool and I went to high school with her. Starting to plan for Makenzie's halloween party for school. I got everyone's party money except for one little girl. Not bad for 22 total students! I'm sure I can get her $4 dollars and if not, oh well! No big deal to me.

Bonnie, WAY TO GO on the weight loss! Keep it up! I won't recognize you either when we all get together again!

Jeanne, glad to hear that everyone is moved in. So, when is there another Los Amigos night? :goodvibes

Sandy, give Ted a big BIG birthday hug and kiss for me! I wasn't up to my normal "birthday announcements" and I missed his. I hope you all had a great weekend!!!

While I'm at it.......

Oct 5th ... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO KEN AND PATTY FLOYD!!!

AND

Oct 8th..... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO PAUL AND SUSAN SCHROLL!!!

I hope everyone has a great celebration!!!

(Don't worry Denine, I didn't forget you guys on the 19th, I figured I had enough time before I give you guys your anniversary wishes!!)

Well, gonna go! Glad to hear everyone is getting healthy!!

Hi Barb, Susan, Patty and Sally!!

See you all soon!!!

TTFN

Glad you guys could figure out how to put it in your signature!!! If you want your colors changed, let me know. If anyone else wants a sparkly signature, let me know and I will do one for you also!!!!

Chris's mom came in yesterday, haven't had the chance to meet her yet because they went to bed before I even got home. This afternoon should be interesting, I go home from work to meet someone at my house that I have never met before, and have to be in the uncomfortable chit chat for 3 hours before Chris gets home.

Julie: At least it is a beautiful day for walking and hay riding.

I goofed. The block party is the 15th, we had to reply by the 8th. I am glad it is not Saturday.

Taking Kaleigh tomorrow to get her pictures taken. I work the next 2 days, so don't expect to hear from me.

I am so tired in the afternoon. I don't know why. I just feel like taking a nap when I should be doing the treadmill, since this is my best time to do it. I am still up those 2 pounds from the cruise and I want to lose them. I just have no motivation to exercise.

Heidi: I still need to put Mickey in my sig. Could you change the Mickey color to pink?
