October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Hi guys, just wanted to post my goodbyes. Our friend is doing so much better now. I am so glad that I visited her yesterday. It makes me feel better for leaving her.

Talked to Bonnie yesterday. She was waiting for Joyce and Jeanne to arrive and bumped into Denine and Jerry. She was so tickled!

Julie, take care of that foot. I know first hand how foot problems are. LISTEN and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS from your Dr.

Thanks Sally for the nice send off. Definitely will keep all of you in my heart. Wish all of you were going. Will miss you all. We leave the house around 4:00 am tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get caught up on my sleep.

Good morning and good bye to all the Disney cruisers.....

Went to a scrapbook class last night.....it was so much fun...great teacher. Tomorrow is Archivers day...can't wait.....

I washed the covers on my sofa.....wasn't sure how they would do but they turned out fine....it looks so much better.

Farmers Market is today.....we have been getting the best watermelon and corn....

We've been at the ice rink every night this week. Glad that is over until next week. We only have to be there 2 nights next week then all the teams will be selected. Busy, busy, busy.

Julie, I don't know what sounds more painful.......the foot or the shot

My sister Linda, from Texas, is visiting Mom right now and keeping her pretty busy shopping, and scrapbooking, and shopping, and scrapbooking......... they are a-blowin-n-goin constantly. Good thing Mom doesn't have the stone anymore or she'd never keep up.......or maybe, it would have slowed her down enough that Linda could keep up? Not sure who the leader is there....... they have a great time anyway and that's what matters.

I was in the Springs last weekend and got to meet my new great nephew, Ethan. What a doll baby! He smiles all the time and Missy really loves being a mom. Mike seems to be loving being a Dad too. How could you help it when you get one of those smiles just by saying Hi Ethan.....he's so easy

Hi, Patty. Good to hear from you. I'm sure you just loved seeing Ethan.

It's going to be in the mid to upper 90s today and I just got back from grocery shopping. 93 and it was only 11:00.

Turner starts school next week on Wednesday. He is so ready. He thinks middle school is going to be a blast. Hope he doesn't get too disappointed with the volume of work.

Hi Sally, Susan, Barb, Patty and Heidi! I heard from Sandy today from the ship and Denine, Jerry, Bonnie,Jeanne and Joyce last night from the hotel. Everyone is sooooooo excited. I know that we all wich we all could be there with them. They said they would call me 8 pm here so I can share in the sail away party.

Makenzie starts school on Tuesday. We have open house on Monday evening. She will be a 1st grader!!! Time is sure flying! The Big Guy starts school next month and will be gone for three mornings. I time sure flys! Tell Turner have a great first day of Middle school! I know I LOVED the first day of school. Every year I couldn't wait. (I know I was the weird kid who liked school, but hey I have great memories).

Well, gonna go. I'll be back this weekend. Have a super 2 days!!!

Yeah!!! Julie heard from the cruisers. I hope they stay in touch along the way. We have to live this cruise through their eyes!

Need to go buy the last of the school supplies today and I am dreading getting out with everyone else doing their school supplies shopping. Oh well. I'll survive.

Good morning all!!! I had a very busy weekend. My cousins spent the night Thursday night and we went to an arcade place and spent $60...ya didn't think I would spend that much $$$$!!!! Then I took them swimming to a mini water park on Friday. We had a lot of fun. Friday night I went to my best friends house and helped her move her entertainment center. Saturday, Chris and I went grocery shopping what seemed to be all day and I started to feel naucious but went to the Bronco game against the 49ers. Sunday I was completely sick, my stomach was not keeping anything in so I stayed sleeping on the couch most of the day. I was supose to go visit our friend this weekend but because I was sick she didn't want me to come up.

I talked with my mom last on Saturday at about 6:30 (my time). They did not have a very good start so I am hoping they have a better day. When they got to the hotel on Friday, their shampoo and lotions exploded and the ziploc bag exploded so there was junk all over their luggage. Then when they were going to their state room to see if their luggage was their, their suitcases were OPEN and had been gone through and their stuff was all over the hallway. When they found that, that was the last I had talked to them. I hope they have had a better trip.

I did get to talk with all the dudettes, they were all so psyched. I was on the phone with my mom when they were sailing away and they blew the whistle, talk about perfect timing!!!! I was also on the phone with my dad when my mom was talking with Julie!!!! Yesterday was a day at sea and today they are in Cabo San Lucas!!!!! I did see a hurricane west of Acapulco so I hope that stays away from them and that the weather will be perfect for them!!!!

Good morning to everyone left behind......Sorry to hear about the problems your mom and dad were having. Was the luggage gone through on the ship?

We had a fun weekend....Archivers opened on Friday and we were there among the first l00 people...they advertised a gift to the first l00...it turned out to be a little stamp and ink pad that didn't amount to much....Barb took off work so she, Tiff (her daughter) Linda and I spent the day together. After Archivers we went to lunch.

Saturday we went to a couple other scrapbooks store and lunch...home to work on our albums.

Sunday we went to church, lunch and back home to work on our albums. Linda is getting a lot done and I have mostly organized my stuff, cut die cuts and worked on my albums ever since Linda got here. Linda send a box of stuff home with Patti so she wouldn't have so much to take on the plane...she is going to pick it up when we go there for Thanksgiving. But she has been buying so much stuff that she still can't take it all so we are going to have to take a box with us at Thanksgiving. Today there is still a sale she wants to go to and tomorrow night we are going to a class at one of the stores. I thought I was bad about scrapbooking but she is worse I think..lol

We have had rain for so many days and it has cooled off so much that it seems like fall....at least we shouldn't have that awful hot weather we had been having of over 90.

Good Morning!

Had a good weekend, spent alot of time shopping for scrap book stuff now to get started! Don't understand it. I can organize team meeting and projects, run a household, plan weddings, parties etc but to put a simple page together is pretty overwhelming!. I always think once I stick stuff down I will change my mind later and won't be able to change it!

May go over to Mom's tonight for more "Staring at my stuff" scrap book time

Heidi-Your Mom and Dad's stuff was all over the hall? Why?? Who went through it? Did they complain?

I don't know. When I was talking to my mom they were very frustrated and upset so I have no idea what action was taken and all the details. I just let her go so that she could take action and get things better and they didn't answer their phones after that.

Well I read yesterday on the cruise board that because of 30 ft swells the captain did not think it would be safe to tender into Cabo so they had another sea day and is supose to go to a new port called Manzanillo today. I hope they have fun. In Cabo they only had scheduled a beach day so I think they should have fun in Manzanillo and didn't miss much in Cabo.

I took out the trash at my parents house last night and enjoyed a nice hot, high pressure shower in their shower yesterday and then watched the last 2 episodes of Big Brother that I missed. The Saturday night BB was cut off and I didn't get to see who won veto and who was eliminated. I guess I will find that out tonight!!!!

Okay I am off to read the cruise board, if anything changes or I hear from my parents I will let you all know!!!

Your dad is feeling neglected so last night Linda got him hot wings and made him a taco layer thing and told him we would take him to GC tonight before class. She also got him giant size cookies, a danish.....so he is happy as a lark now.

He is just going to have to learn how to scrapbook......
