Wow quiet quiet board!

I am so ready for the weekend. Had a very busy week. Still adjusting to all the new job responsibilities.

bought 3 new books last night for wedding stuff. I am getting some really neat ideas. Talked to my sister in law a few days ago and found out that Bob's Mom has been having to plan her own 50th anniversary party so we are now taking it over. I started a folder for all my projects because my head is spinning with ideas. I am working on 2 weddings, 50th anniversary party, halloween party, Graduation party & 3 Disney trips plus I am in charge of 4 committees at work. PHEW!

I am making curtains for our sky lights because it has been SOOO dang hot this summer. I am not a sewer so I am making up the pattern. Not looking forword making them.

Denine-You should now be done with work. YAY!!! vacation!! I wish we were going too!! Just didn't work out this year. I see Disney is having an 11 day cruise in September 2006. Hummmmmmmmm
Still trying for the back to back next summer.

Where is everyone?

Sandy: Giant Eagle is a grocery store chain around here.

Barb: I don't think you have room for anymore projects on your plate! WOW!

I am now on VACATION! Plus, Jerry took Kaleigh to his parents, so I have some time to myself. I am hoping to go to the basement where it is cooler and work on my cross stitch. It is 93 outside and 91 inside. Nice breeze though.

We are hoping to go to the corn festival tomorrow, yes, I live in the midwest surrounded by corn and soybean fields. If I go for a 5 minute walk, I can even go find some cows. I love it though! Kaleigh will have to go on more rides and of course there is the food, roasted corn dripping with butter, yum!
The weather may not cooperate, so we may go on Sunday. Plus, we have to pack this weekend.

Jerry has 1 more day in the office and he is going to work from home on Tuesday for as long as he can before we leave for Columbus.

I was hoping for a good movie to be up at the dirve-in like that war movie or the Skeleton Key, but alas, we get Deuce Bigelow and the Dukes of Hazzard as the early movies.

Will watch the ball game later.

The Three Disney Dudettes were reunited tonight. We all met at Los Amigos after Joyce was finished work. We had such a good time & now REALLY can't wait until the cruise!

Bonnie is a "Yes" for the Christmas Exchange & I am a "No" (sorry ). I have just so many things to mail at Christmas time I just can't handle one more!

Trying to ROLL those clothes like Bonnie said but I think I don't have enough clothes! Bonnie & Joyce each have at least one if not two outfits for each day! Now I really AM getting nervous. I find myself counting underpants, bras, P.J.'s, etc.

I am starting to be pretty uncontrollable as far as excitement goes I don't think any of you would want to be one of my co-workers on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Happy Saturday Morning

The spring on our garage door broke yesterday, it is going to cost a couple hundred dollars to fix. Ugh! Our house is only about 8 years old, I thought they lasted longer then that!

Denine-You guys always do the funniest things! Wish I lived down there! Don't have many fun things like that around here.

Jeanne: SOunds like you guys had a blast! Can't wait till the cruise!

I have to go to Kohl's and buy a slip for under one of my dresses. You can just see too much. I am like you Jeannne, counting underwear and such. Heck, we are even counting diapers!

Started pulling things together to pack. Shouldn't be a problem throwing everything in suitcases.

It is looking cloudy and maybe rainy. I hope we can go today.

Kaleigh is too excited. She knows we are leaving soon, but she doesn't understand the concept of Tuesday.

I am not surprised that I am first to post today since it is 3:30 AM, but come on, where is everyone?

We went to the corn festival and spent several hours. Kaleigh enjoyed the rides and we enjoyed the food. I even gave blood while we were there.

I am too excited to sleep, so I got up for a while. Going back to bed after this post.

Gathered some things to pack yesterday, but the big packing day is today.

Kohl's was sold out of slips, so now I have to look elsewhere. Uggh!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I know Sandy is camping.

Bonnie just left & brought over some more clothes for me - some capris, a skort & a dressy slack outfit. Time to roll AGAIN! I think Frontier has a 75 lb. weight limit but coming home USAir is 50 lbs. per bag. I could be in trouble!

SANDY: Hope you are having a good time camping. It is still so hot here - it is unbearable

Went to the mall and got the slips I needed. Also bought Kaleigh some tights.

Everything is ready to be packed. Our room and bathroom has exploded with stuff! Still need to do laundry tomorrow.

I can't believe we leave so soon!

Yeah! Jeanne posted! Now I am not talking to myself!

I am back again!!!! I had a good weekend, it was sooooo coooold on Saturday and Sunday morning in Monument. Had a fun Friday, my mom and I decided to walk to Monument from our campground and have lunch and walk back while stopping at the #1 store, walking back consists of big hills!!!!! It was fun though and good exercise. Starting Thursday night I slowly got sicker, nit sure if it is allergies or a cold, but today I am pretty miserable. If I didn't have training I would have called in sick.

Barb- you sound very busy, sorry to hear about your garage...that sucks.

Denine - you finally made it to your vacation time!!! I want to see skeleton key, it looks so scary.

Glad the disneydudettes were reunited, wish I could have been there too!!!!!

I am in training M-W, but am coming in for about an hour in the morning. Have a great week.

Oh ya, I forgot to add that my mom didn't post yesterday and might not post today because they had to take our really good friend (we consider her family) to the hospital yesterday and they admitted her last night.

Another foggy day, seems so much like fall here. I really am appreciating the cooler weather.

Sandy-Heidi- Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope everything is ok.

Worked on some of my projects all day yesterday. Got my curtains made for our sky lights. Which was a challenge since I do not sew and I did not have any type of pattern. Also got a recognition award made for work. It turned out really cute. Finished 80 candle favors for Bob's parents 50th anniversary and clean my craft room. I feel productive today!

Wow Denine only one more day until you leave. You are so lucky! Can't wait to hear how everything goes! Are you getting internet on the ship?

Heidi: Hope it is just allergies. Mine are starting to bug me, so I have been taking Allegra. Hope your friend is OK.

Barb: You ceratinly had a productive weekend!

We are not getting internet service on the ship. So, you will not hear from me until we are back on 9-3. I will try to post tomorrow. We do not leave until the afternoon for Columbus. Jerry will be working from home.

Packing is almost done. Just have to pack the good clothes and stuff that can't be packed yet, and stuff that is in the laundry.

Hi everyone! had a busy weekend with 2 birthday parties.

Glad to see everyone getting ready for their vacations. Wish we were all going, oh well!

Denine, I know I would like a pair of "ears" with my name on it. Depending on how much they are.... I know that the rest of the crew would like a pair too, BUT if they are "Disney priced" then don't worry about it. If everyone gets a pair... (including you guys too) the next time we all go to disney we can wear them!!!!!! Wouldn't that be a picture!! LOL! Whatever, just let me know how much. FYI, you can sign on for something like $1.50 a minute just to say hi when you are gone for 2 weeks!

Worked with Joyce today & I was hard to work with because I just want vacation to start! I am scheduled to work tomorrow too but am hoping to be "flexed". If I am not flexed, I have someone coming in at 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM so I can get my manicure, pedicure, etc. Wednesday morning I have a hairdresser appointment (nothing like cutting it close!).

DENINE: I'm with you - no internet access during the cruise Do you think we will be missed?

SANDY: Sorry to hear about your friend being hospitalized. How excited are you?

I will pop on tomorrow & maybe Wednesday before we leave. Just can't wait! Toodles JEANNE

Jerry's dad was just taken to the hospital via 911 with chest pains. I guess he has had them a couple of days and didn't tell anyone, not even the nurse that was there. I hope he will be OK. We leave tomorrow around 4 PM for Columbus and don't want to have to come back early from our trip. I know Jerry's mom doesn't want to call us on the ship.

This is not what anyone needed!

On the bright side, everything except last minute stuff is packed.

Sandy: Don't worry about the lanyard clips. I bought some at Michael's today.
