Good Morning!!

Woke up to a light rain today. We also had some lighting and thunder. That is VERY strange for Colorado to have rain in the morning. We usually get showers late in the afternoon sometimes night. Since I LOVE raining/foggy weather it was very nice.

Denine-How fun for you and Kaleigh! I love the way you are building this up for her. She is going to see this as a real fun, special treat!

Jeanne-How is the painting coming along. Bet you are loving getting the grandbaby's room ready.

Got home from work yesterday and stood outside talking to my neighbor for 3 hours. She is a talker! They have lived here for 4 years and I have never even met them before, just waved. they have a 7 1/2 week old baby. What a doll he is! They are moving back to Canada. They are military. We exchanged email address so YEAH NEW FRIEND!!!

Hi guys, yep, I am on this OLD icky computer with dial-up. I can't believe how slow it was before and I never knew there was a difference. I can't take this....very stressful.

It is 3:15 in the morning.....woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so got up for a little while.

Denine, that is what Dick and I do...he does the front and sides and I do the back. I have so many flower beds to go around in the back but I have it down to 20 minutes and I am done with the cutting.

I started my fall cleaning yesterday...it seems I just finished with the spring. I am cleaning cabinets in the kitchen...

Tiffany wants her name on towels to take to college and I am going to make some dresses for my great grandaughter that lives in Texas. I enjoy making little girls clothes but not for myself. Sure glad Patti got a new sewing machine and I went with her to run her through it...made me want to sew again. I use to sew all the time but got away from it for about a year.

I am like Barb, I enjoy the rain....it was raining last night when I went to bed....love to lay in bed and hear the rain. It was an unusual day....I woke up to rain, it rained twice during the day and I went to sleep to the rain.

Denine, I can't believe Kaleigh is old enough to start school....it seems like yesterday that you got her when she was a baby.

Sandy, I know what you mean about slow computers...I hate it if for any reason mine slows down.

Good Morning

Getting ready to spend the day with Tiffany shopping. We have to get all the rest of her college stuff. Blah! We have dedicated this weekend to shopping every day. Sunday Jason & Michelle are meeting us in Denver. Tiffany is going to spend a few days with them. We leave on Thursday.

Once we get back from Oklahoma I am going to start my Fall cleaning. I plan on cleaning Tiffany's room really good then setting my suit cases on her bed and start packing for Hawaii!!

Sally, I use to sew dresses for my girls. I would also make matching cabbage patch doll clothes for Easter. I really don't like to sew anymore though. I want to make Heidi's Chris a read sash for Pirate night but I am too lazy to even do that.

Denine, how was the crab cakes?

Julie, did I scare you off with talk about coming to visit?

I had a nice EARLY breakfast with Heidi before she headed to Las Vegas. I hated to see her go. What a mom.

Sandy, What are you talking about? I've been at the airport waiting for you!!!!! You are ALWAYS welcome, so is everyone else!!

I hope Heidi is having a great time. I wanted to remind her...."Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!"

Well, today we had two birthday parties to go to. One was little Garry's friend, Michael who turned 5. The other was my nephew's (Joshua) birthday, who turned 7. Tomorrow, we have to go up to the city's "park" for our yearly "Party in the Park". Garry has to work, so I'm taking the kids up to see him and to walk through the park. I will probably let them go swimming at the city's pool. Garry has to "be a PR man" tomorrow! He's TRILLED about it!!! NOT! Then, monday is ANNAMARIE'S SWEET SIXTEEN birthday!! We are going to go out to dinner with her and her mother and grandmother on her mother's side. Then we are going over to my mom and dad's house for some cake with the kids and my brother and Garry's father and step mom.

Well, that's about it for right now. Oh yeah, I also got our trip insurance for the cruise today so that is done. The only thing left is getting a car rented. I might skip that IF the prices don't come down.

Well, gotta go! TTFN!!!

Julie, have you ever been to DW for Halloween....we have twice and it is so much fun. I think I like the Halloween party more than the Christmas one, but then I love Christmas there too. I guess I just like DW

It is suppose to rain again today.....I don't mind though...Dick cut the lawn yesterday so let it rain....

Gosh, Tiffany will be off to college in 4 days.....I remember her first day at school....didn't seem like that long ago.

Sally: It take Jerry about 40 minutes to do the front yard and it takes me the same to do the back yard.

Friday, I didn't go to work but JErry worked from home becasue of my rescheduled ortho appointment. The pain is now in my sacro-iliac joint. He wants me to have an injection right into the joint. THe place will call me this week to set it up and then I go back to the ortho 2 weeks after the injection.

THen, we went to the store to buy Kaleigh a booster seat for the car. SHe is outgrowing her car seat.

Saturday, I worked, came home to a breakfast of french toast, took a nap and then we painted the school room. It looks really nice.

Today, we are tired.

Why is it that Sunday is the only day we have to relax and that is the day Kaleigh acts up? She had a full out temper tantrum at 7:30 this morning.

Sandy: The crab cakes turned out really yummy. I have some crab leftover and I am going to make potstickers.

Tomorrow and Tuesday Jerry has to stay until 5 PM for meetings. Kaleigh has her magic show at 7 PM and the the craft at the toy store at 2 PM on Tuesday.

I hope Heidi is enjoying Vegas!

Hi guys. I had a great time in Vegas and what happened in Vegas will stay in Vegas. I got home about 1:00am this morning and had to be up at 5:00am for work. Our plane touched down late because I guess there was a bad lightning store in Denver. I am exhausted and struggling but it was well worth it. We had a great weekend and had a lot of fun. I think we slept about a total of 8 hours in the last 3 days. Met some very nice people, can't wait to go back and do it again!!!!

Good Morning!

Had a good weekend. Took Tiffany shopping Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am soooooo tired of spending money for college!

Glad you had a fun time Heidi.

Ethan got home last night about midnight. They must have gotten into bad weather too. Their plane was suppose to be in at 4:30 in the afteroon. I had gone to bed by the time Missy got him picked up from mike and home. I can't wait to see him today.

Last night I found out that the internet company that I bought my magnet paper from sent all my private info including my credit card number to a person in her shipment. I only found out because SHE contacted me. I still don't have my shipment and now they aren't answering their phone. That person is worried that HER info was shipped to a different person. She used paypal. I called the bank at 10:30 PM last night and they closed my credit card account and are issuing me a new card. I went to the bank today and they stopped payment to this company. What a horrible feeling. I don't know how many other people got my info. Hopefully just the one. I was soooooo fortunate that she contacted me.

Barb, glad that Ethan is home and everything is ok.

I thought last night that after work I would go home and take a nap or go to bed early because I was so tired. Instead my BIL and sister took me around looking at stuff in garages of model homes. I loved doing that!!! My BIL works for Continental Homes and they had a huge employee sale where they sell everything in their model homes for cheap. I got some pictures, plants, 2 twin mattresses and 2 box springs, a beautiful white dresser with flowers painted on all for $30. They are the greatest for letting me tag a long. Best of all was I got to see my niece and nephew!!! oh ya and Stace and Rich too!!!
