Our doc got here yesterday in Virginia and I guess I better finish filling out all my paperwork-- it is only 28 days away-- Arrive at the Boardwalk on the 16th have dinner at the new Cat Cora resturant check out the Halloween decorations at Magic Kingdom and then go to the ship in the 17th --I need a vacation and especially my Pixie Dust fix.

Cruise documents arrived here in New Brunswick, Canada.

I am still amazed that documents still travel by pony express out here in the west Everyone is getting them before us. I guess it is the heat out here that slows things down.

OK... the question at hand was what are we and our traveling companions most excited about....

Me: It's another cruise. Another visit to the Caribbean, I get to see my favorite server on the Magic. And I am FAR FAR away from work and being spoiled rotten!

Tiffany (BFF going with me): She is nervous/excited. She has never cruised before and doesn't know what to expect.I think she's excited about this new opportunity

SIL Marti: A vacation away (never cruised), and a real FAMILY vacation with her son and her boyfriend. Also, she is an office manager for a large Nissan dealership in Houston, and after cash for clunkers.... well, let's just say it is a good thing this vacation came when it did!!

her boyfriend John: He cruised years ago and it wasn't good. He's excited to try again and have a family vacation

Monkey Boy Logan (age 4): It's fun. And he hasn't met me yet, but thinks I'm Penny from BOLT....I think he's going to be disappointed.

Documents received yesterday. Curious if others have a letter indicated next to the Cabin # on the luggage tags.

As many times as we've sailed with DCL have never seen this before. I will call DCL to inquire in the next day or two but wondering if anyone had any idea what it indicates.

I was SO excited to find out about halloween on the ship!! Not sure if me or hubby will dress up.........While it is not my favorite time, it certainly is a fun time... I knew this happened in DW, but i guess I never thought about it!!! All in good fun!!!!

Wow - that's odd about the letter. Hmmm... maybe you are are marked for a possible upgrade and this is a code to the porters/staterooms hosts to double check the room number before delivering luggage! Be sure and let us know what you find out when you call!!!

Is anyone else going to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel? That's really the only excursion we are doing on the cruise. We're planning to spend a good bit of the day there and do the Dolphin Encounter. It's going to be a surprise for the kids. They think we're going there to snorkel and play on the beach.

I have the letter F next to my room noumber and I am in a forward room. I suspect that Disney has added that as another measure to hopefully seperate and deliver all that luggage to rooms in a timely manner. Anyone have any other letters?

A & F... that makes sense! Bummer... I was hoping for something a little more exciting for you guys! It's hard to believe there have been no paid upgrade offers or pixie dust upgrades yet for our cruise. We sail in just 29 days!!!


I'm STILL sitting here waiting on UPS... I want my docs too!!!

I think you folks are right about the letter next to the Cabin # indicating either Forward or Aft.

Just looked at the deck plans and while we are mid-ship, our cabin is just slightly on the forward side of it.

Can sail without worry now. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

So, my husband is a big meanie!!! I've been keeping an eye on the possibility of upgrading to a cat 7 from my cat 9 - with the Florida resident discount it's only a $400 difference. Today I checked and there is exactly one cat 7 room left, so I called my husband and tried to convince him we should pay for the upgrade. Long story short, he doesn't want to spend the extra cash. I really thought I could sway him. I'm kicking around paying the difference myself as an early Xmas present to him, but I wasn't actually prepared to pay all $400 myself today. I'm very bummed!

I got home from a business trip last night and my DCL Tags were waiting for me!

I was hoping to pick up a few FE items for the kids at a Disney Warehouse on my way home yesterday, only to get to the location and find the store was no longer there It's now a Halloween Superstore...

So, now I need to get my creative juices flowing again and determine what to do...

Have a great weekend! Only 4 more until we cruise! 4 weeks from now we'll be flying cross country...can't wait!

We're going to Chankanaab. We booked a Dolphin Swim for 12:00, and we plan to spend some time before and after just hanging around Chankanaab. It looks like a great place to spend the day.
