Just wanted to say welcome to I's wife. On that note how is everyone? I personaly am wiped out. Work kicked my rear end this weekend and it looks like there is no end in sight.

Been there, doing that, Alan. So, what kind of job do you do out there on the Other Coast?

Stateroom door here we come!

I work for Southwest Airlines here at LAX. Great job on the door sign, just I personaly am so sick and tired of everything that people do for DCL is a Pirate theme. I will not get into how much I hate it right now. Just if we do a group name please let it have something else other than a Pirate theme

Ok Doberlady, how do you get your graphic to be large and not pixelated? I have tried to read the creative community to figure the secret out, but my clips always look awful when enlarged. By the way your magnets look great. Marci

Marci-

Thanks. I love the whole pirate thing going on :rolleyes1

Go to the Cruise Magnet graphics and links thread and ask for someone to make you a graphic that you see posted already that you like. They will add your names or whatever and post the pic in the thread. All you need to do is copy and paste to Word and change the margins and print on your magnet paper. Easy! They come out perfect. :upsidedow

This is not cruise related, but since we have people here from all over the place, geographically, I wanted to know if anyone has heard of pan frying leftover oatmeal in butter? Maybe, it's a regional dish, but I had never heard of it. This week, I made way too much oatmeal and was looking for a recipe with which to use the leftovers when I found the forementioned suggestion. It was good! I sliced the cold oatmeal in slabs and cooked them in the frying pan with a little butter - just a few minutes on each side. I ate mine with a thin amount of syrup, but I suppose you can put whatever you want on it. I should mention I haven't tried this with quick-cook oats just steel-cut oats.

Hi all
One week till our easter vacation thankfully. Very tired!
Yazee - what you describe is what we have with turkey at Christmas time, oatmeal stuffing. Would never add syrup though! But would add some browned onions and lots of seasoning.
Just booked a RCCL cruise on Freedom of the Seas for July - never been with RCCL so it will be interesting to compare.

I think it sounds yummy! Probably not as healthy for you, but.....
Hope everyone is doing well. Here in Ohio we're anxiously awaiting spring. It's so close, I can taste it, my daffodils are blooming, the tulips are coming up, and what's in the forecast for tomorrow? *@#$^*#$ SNOW:headache: Oh well. Gives me less of an excuse not to clean the house. At least I won't be longing to go outside!
Gotta run, watching important tv tonight with DS and DH...Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.

How much snow is expected? I've been belly-aching about our area not getting a proper snow all winter, BUT I would not want it now that spring has sprung. I remember one Easter snow when I was about 9 or 10 years old.

That does sound like a better version of stuffing than how we traditionally make stuffing here. It probably doesn't look as delicious as it tastes.

Where do I get these cool pictures from so I can make myown magnets for my door? My door has been bare and lonley every year, but I am determined to have it decked out this year!! Thanks!

Wendym,
can you hook me up with a Scottish Boyfriend?? :-)

I wish I could hook myself up with a Scottish Boyfriend - just too picky you see :rotfl2:

I know what you mean. But oh how I just love that accent and those kilts! There were several Scottish families on my cruise last year. They all loved so lovely in their formal kilts and pouches. It makes me swoon! :-)
