I can't remember if we are allowed to take perscription meds in a carryone? It's in the original bottle?

Yes, you are supposed to bring the in the original bottle in your carry-on.

Morning,

I believe that is correct. Prescription medicine does not count towards the 3-1-1 rule for carryon liquids as long they are in the original bottle.

Took us much longer then planned, but we finished up packing last night at 10 PM. We head to the airport in 2 hours! Cannot believe that after almost two years of planning, we are finally going to WDW and DCL.

I am not sure if I introduced everyone with me:

This is our 4th cruise and we have the 2010 EB TA booked also.

Also joining us will be my author assistant, Cassandra - this is her first cruise ever!


The kids and I live in Jackson, TN and we homeschool the kids. My hubby works in Iraq and will not be joining us . Cassandra lives in a small town outside of Jackson.

We are flying in from Memphis to MCO on Friday, staying at the MCO Embassy Suites and taking the shuttle to port on Saturday morning.

I am planning on coming to the DIS Meet at 3 - I kinda feel like a party crasher coming in this late! I am trying to read all the posts in this thread tonight to get to know everyone.

I am back off to finish up packing and finishing up the kids FE things! So much to do in so little time!

I am so jealous of all those who are ready to go or on their way. I still have two full days of work left (yuck). I have to drop my cat off at my mom's tonight, I am hoping to cram in a mani/pedi or at least a pedi on my lunch hour, and no, I am not done packing !!

Well, I am finally packing! We leave Friday early afternoon so I still have time. This will be our kids first time on a plane so they are excited and, of course, it's the first time for any of us on a cruise so we are all very anxious!

It is rainy and in the 50's here today (NC) so I can finally wash and pack the shorts, etc. We've been wearing them up til now.

We're hoping to make it to the meet at 3 the first day. But if you see us at the terminal or anything, please come say hi. We are easy to spot as my 5 year old son is bald due to apolecia...(a good and bad way to identify us, I guess).

For those already on the way...enjoy your time before setting sail...

Can't wait!!!

Jenn - you're getting the weather we're supposed to get on Friday up here near Philly. They're calling it a Nor'easter coming, but I'm crossing my fingers that it's not bad enough to change our flight at dinnertime on Friday.

3 more hours of work to go here & I'm done!!! So busy that I am finally eating lunch a little bit late & taking a quick break.

Don't know why, but packing doesn't seem to stressful for this trip - Got all the dinner clothes ready, so just need outfits for 2 islands & coming home - the rest of the time will be in bathing suits! Gonna try to finish up gathering things tonight - still missing some little things that I need to look for somewhere in the house!!!

You & me both! I just dropped my dog off with my aunt & uncle today (they live about an hour away, and this was the only time I could squeeze it in). Tomorrow I have a mani/pedi and a leg wax (SO much easier than shaving in those little ship showers!) along with a bunch of petsits. Right now I have to send an out of office note to my clients and change my voicemail. Then some more laundry, then maybe I'll finally get to pack!

We are sorry your husband can't join us, but what a great trip for your kids! What type of book are you writing? I'm planning on doing as little work as possible while I'm on the ship!

No overpriced extra ticketed event here. Tomorrow night I am headed to the Boardwalk to the ESPN club to watch the Dodgers lay some smackdown on the Phillies.

Well we made it to Ridgeland South Carolina and ate at one of our favorite restaurants, Jaspar's Porch. Excellent home cooked southern cooking.

We left at 6:00 AM and got to drive to 4 states of rain (WV, VA, NC, and SC). At least it wasn't a heavy downpour, just a fairly steady rain most of the day. We got here in 12 hours which is pretty good time.

Looking forward to getting a good night's sleep and heading out for the final 4 to 5 hour drive to WDW. Hopefully the rain will be past us by tomorrow.
