Got an e-mail from TA Coleen today and still no Doc's....

Hey Michelle -

Do you happen to have Coleen's Home Address in Florida?? When I was working with Annette, I sent everything back to her home, and with Coleen Ive been sending it to the Main Office in Washington. I wanted to send her a little something (flowers etc.) for helping us book our group etc.

make sure you are very careful with spa treatments since you are pregnant...some types are not good for pregnant women.... The black dress looks great! It is definitely formal enough.....

There's a thread over on the Cruise Board with a press release from DCL on the drydock changes for the Magic:

On October 1, the Disney Magic will sail to the Norshipco shipyard in Norfolk, Va. for a two-week dry dock period, during which new guest experiences and venues will be added.

* Disney Cruise Line will introduce another cruise industry first with its Vista Spa and Salon expansion, which will include three specially designed indoor/outdoor spa treatment suites. Each suite will feature an indoor spa treatment room that is connected to a private outdoor verandah – complete with personal hot tub and open air shower. With beautiful ocean vistas and warm tropical breezes, the new treatment suites will provide guests with a romantic getaway into a tranquil oasis without ever leaving the ship.

* Adding to the already expansive offerings for children, Disney Cruise Line is transforming three conference rooms on deck 2 of the Disney Magic into a brand new hang-out for kids called Ocean Quest. Ocean Quest will feature a scaled replica of the ship’s bridge with simulation games that will allow children to steer a cruise ship in and out of ports around the world.

* Additionally, Disney Magic guests will soon be able to enjoy poolside movies on a brand-new, state-of-the-art jumbo LED screen on deck 9. Affixed to the forward funnel, the 24-by-14-foot screen will show movies along with major sporting and broadcast events. The enormous screen will also enhance outdoor entertainment and deck parties in and around the Goofy, family pool area.

* A new interactive shore excursion at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, will immerse guests into the amazing underwater world of stingrays. In partnership with marine animal experts from the Living Seas at Epcot, Disney Cruise Line created a stingray sanctuary adjacent to the teen beach at Castaway Cay. The 60-minute experience called Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure includes an educational orientation loaded with interesting facts and tidbits about stingrays, hands-on interaction, and free-time to snorkel in the stingray lagoon. Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure is scheduled to open late September.​

I can't wait to hear more details about these spa suites, especially the pricing. Later in that same thread, someone made this update:

while we were on the Eastbound repo cruise, ... they also told us about the adult-only jacuzzi(s) that will be glass bottomed and suspended over the ocean

My husband and I will be there the 15th !!! Cant wait this will be our 4th cruise and there will 25 others with us . I cant believe it took this long for me to find these boards . Is there some tpe of a meeting set up for everyone to meet ?

Nancy: I will definitely have mine, as well as various other pieces of camera gear. On our last (and only other) DCL cruise, I took a fair number of pictures, but no video, so I hope to rectify that this time. However, I will still probably shoot a lot more stills than video.

Elizabeth: Did you get your docs yet?

I think it is tentatively set for 1:00...Hopefully, someone will quickly correct me if I have that time wrong. Thanks for the reminder. I'm just doing a mani and a pedi, although I may drop the pedi depending on my assessment of the cleanliness of the spa. The only other spa related thing I ever get done while pregnant is a prenatal massage and I ONLY go to my gal here in Houston who my OB recommended.

We are still waiting to see if my grandmother will get early dining, too. I can't even imagine my poor Gran having to eat by herself. It took so much just to get her on the cruise. Surely they can find a spot for your friend and my Gran...

EDITED TO ADD: NEVER MIND!!! JUST CALLED DCL AND GRAN IS ON MAIN DINING WITH US!!! YEAH!!! Michelle, I hope your friend makes it to early dining, too.
